The aims of this research were to formulate the strategies for business development of Bandrek Lampung. This study was conducted at Hajimena Village of Natar District in South Lampung Regency by case study method. Alternative strategies formulated by the SWOT matrix. Strategic priorities of business development were formulated by FGD method. The Results showed that strategic priorities for business development were managing the bookkeeping of business; maintaining the continuity of production and quality control; and training the employee about everything of the business so that he can work without supervision, but the product quality remains excellent; taking advantage of developments in technology to improve business performance both in the production side, as well as promoting products; taking an interest in human resource development; focusing on business to approach the supplier; expanding product distribution into the strategic region with close monitoring; maintaining and improving the quality of the product; doing research to find a substitute in recipes and product innovation. The purposes of this research are to analyze the performance of PUMP program in Bandar Lampung, the revenue of fisheries businessmen before and after implementing PUMP program in Bandar Lampung, and the constraint of PUMP program in Bandar Lampung. This research was conducted in Bumi Waras Sub-district of Bandar Lampung. This research applied census method by involving 77 fisheries businessmen as the subject of PUMP program. The research data was analyzed by descriptive and statistics comparative test. The results of this research showed that the performance of PUMP program in Bandar Lampung was good. The income of fisheries businessmen before taking the program was Rp5,094,759.70 and the income of fisheries businessmen after taking the program became Rp5,067,661.89. a There were some problems during the implementation of the PUMP program in Bandar Lampung, such as some of the program’s target was less appropriate, less assistants, and the program’s target was lack of guidance. This study aimed to analyze the leadership level of the farmer group chairman, the dynamism level of the farmer group, the relation between farmer grup chairman’s leadership and group dynamics, in addition to the relation of group dynamics and rice productivity in Natar Sub-Distict of South Lampung Regency. This study was conducted purposively in Natar Sub-District of South Lampung Regency by survey method, in which respondents consist of 69 farmer groups. The data was collected in September - December 2016. The data was analyzed descriptively and statistically, in which the relation between variables of this study were tested by Rank-Sperman Correlation Test. The results showed that: the leadership level of the farmer group chairman in Natar Sub-District of South Lampung Regency was in good classification, the dynamics level of the group was in quite good classification. The leadership of the farmer group’s chairman in Natar Sub-District was significantly related to the group dynamics, whereas group dynamics was not correlated significantly to productivity of rice in Natar Sub-Distric of South Lampung Regency.Key words : group dynamics, leadership, productivity of rice

This research aims to analyze the competitiveness of corn and the effect of input-output price changes on the competitiveness of corn farming in Sekampung Udik District, East Lampung Regency. This research was held in Sidorejo Village, Sekampung Udik District, East Lampung Regency. The respondents of this research were 6 farmers implementing intensive farming management, taken using purposive sampling. The competitiveness was analyzed using PAM (Policy Analysis Matrix). The results showed that corn farming in Sekampung Udik District, East Lampung Regency was competitive (PCR = 0.3499 and DRC = 0.2944). The decreasing of corn price by 26%, the increasing of fertilizer price (urea = 33.33%, SP-36 = 29.03%, Phonska = 31.43%, and KCl = 25%), the increasing of seed price and landrate by 4.28%, caused a decrease in the competitiveness of corn farming. The competitiveness of corn farming in Sekampung Udik District, East Lampung Regency was sensitive to the decreasing of corn price by 26%.Key words: competitiveness, corn, PAM, sensitivity

This research aimed to assess the response of farmers group member towards PUAP program in Kebun Tebu District; investigate the factors related to farmer's response towards the implementation of the PUAP Program in Kebun Tebu District; know the suitability between the planning and implementation of PUAP Program. The research was conducted in Pekon Cipta Mulya, Kebun Tebu District, West Lampung Regency. The population of this research were all farmers who take part in RADP in Kebun Tebu District. The sample of this research were 100 farmers who became member of Gapoktan Mulya Mandiri in Pekon Cipta Mulya which choosen using cluster sampling method. The research data collection was conducted from August until September 2015. The research data wascolleceted by questionnaire and anylized by descriptive analysis method. The results of this research showed thatt the response of farmers group member categorized as quite good. factors related to farmer’s response towards the implementation of PUAP Program were the level of formal education of farmers, farmers' knowledge, motivation of farmers joint in PUAP Program and farmers’ farming experience. This study aims to determine : 1) The factors affecting the farmer’s decision become farmers group members, 2) The income of members and non-members of goat farmers group, 3) The welfare level of members and non-members of goat farmers group. This study was conducted in Sungai Langka Village, Gedung Tataan Sub-district, Pesawaran Regency used by survey method. Respondents were 18 farmers group members and 45 farmers group non-members. Data collection was carried out in Juli-August 2014. The data analysis methods were done by qualitative descriptive and quantitative were used by Logit models, income of tabulation, and welfare analysis based on BPS’s criteria (2012). The results showed that 1) The income and sell price of goat farmers gave possitive effect against of the farmer’s decision become farmers group members, but their experiences gave negative effect, 2) There was differences of the farmer’s average income of goat farming. The income of farmers group members was higher than farmers group non-members, 3) The farmers group members and non-members classified as rich household. This research aims to know the economic efficiency and competitiveness of organic rice farming in Bangunrejo District, Lampung Tengah Regency. This research was conducted in Bangunrejo District from September to October 2012, involving all of the twenty organic rice farmers planting rojo lele and melati varieties of riceas research respondents. Data were analized using Policy Analysis Matrix (PAM). The results showed that (1) the organic rice farming in Bangunrejo was produced efficiently in terms of private and social and (2) the organic rice farming in Bangunrejo District had competitiveness with value of PCR (Privat Cost Ratio) 0,197 and DRCR (Domestic Resource Cost Ratio) 0,204 Key words: competitiveness, efficiency, farmer, organic rice, PAM

This study aims to analyze (1) onion farm income and (2) efficiency of onion marketing system. Research was conducted in Tanggamus Regency which chosen purposely and total of samples was 35 farmers and 16 traders in marketing system. Sampling methods of farmers was used by census method, whereas the sampling method of marketing system was used by snowball method. Data collection was conducted in October 2014 until February 2015. Analysis methods used in this research are the analysis of quantitative (statistical) and qualitative (descriptive). The research result showed that (1) onion farm in Tanggamus Regency economically advantageous, base on the value of total cost R/C ratio > 1, on the first crop season of 1,73. (2) The marketing system of the onion in Tanggamus was not efficient due to the margin profit ratio in each marketing organization have not spread evenly, and the price difference (margin) in each marketing organization was too large, although the value of the producer share was quite large, with appromiximately 61,5%-76,9%. The purposes of this research are to analyze the financial feasibility of cocofiber agrondustry, the added alue from processing in cocofiber agroindustry and the prospect of cocofiber agroindustry. Cocofiber is fiber made from coconut shell. This research was conducted in Katibung subdistric of South Lampung Regency. This research location was chosen purposively based on stablished and the new one agroindustry in Katibung Subdistric. The.
