Jurnal Ilmu Ilmu Agribisnis: Journal of Agribusiness Science is published by the Department of Agribusiness, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Lampung, in collaboration with PERHEPI, the Indonesian Agricultural Economist Association. The first printed Journal was published in 2013 and the online version started in May 2018 edition. The scopes include agribusiness, agricultural economics, agricultural development, rural sociology, agricultural extension, food security, and other subjects related to agriculture and society. This Journal is published four times a year, February, May, August, and November.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of production efficiency of lowland rice farming and lowland rice farming income. The study was conducted using a survey method. The research was carried out in Sidomukti and Bumi Jaya Villages, with the consideration that both villages had the same type of wetland, namely the largest type of irrigated paddy in 2018. The number of respondents was 75 paddy rice farmers selected using a simple random method. Data collection was carried out in March-April 2019. The amount of income was analyzed by calculating the R/C and the level of production efficiency was analyzed by the stochastic frontier production function. The results showed that lowland rice farming was not yet technically efficient, economically very efficient, and very efficient in price. The income of lowland rice farming in season I to cash costs is IDR9,653,092.11 per ha with an R/C of 2.66 and the income of lowland rice farming to the total cost of IDR5,647,645.87 with an R / C of 1.58 per ha  meaning that farming is profitable to be cultivated. Key words: income, lowland rice farming, production efficiency

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the production performance and added value of cassava chips agroindustry in Ganjar Asri Village, West Metro District of Metro City. Respondents of this study are the owners of agro-industry cassava chips.  Data were collected from March to April 2021. The analytical methods used are quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis and Hayami’s Value-Added Analysis. The results show that the procurement of raw materials with six components, namely the time and place of both agroindustries is not correct, while the components of price, type, quality, and quantity are right. The production performance of both agroindustries, on indicators of productivity, production capacity, quality, delivery speed, and process speed are appropriate, and flexibility indicators can not be said to be good because the flexibility of both agroindustries has not been optimal. Agroindustry cassava chips provide an added value greater than zero NT > 0 or positive, so both agroindustries are worth to be developed. The marketing channels carried out by both cassava chip agroindustries are producers - retailers – consumers. Keywords: added value, agroindustry, cassava, marketing.

Abstract

This study aims to determine attitudes, satisfaction, and loyalty to purchasing Melte Vanana melted banana chips at CV Vanana Jaya Sinergi. This research is placed in Bumi Manti Street number II, LK II, Kampung Baru Village, Labuhan Ratu District, Bandar Lampung City chosen purposively. The number of samples in this study is 50 people selected by the non-probability sampling method. Research data is analyzed descriptively and qualitatively by Fishbein Multi-attribute Model, Consumer Satisfaction Index (CSI), and loyalty pyramid.  Results of the research known that consumers who became respondents in this study were 44 people (88%) aged 17-25 years and the majority were male. The highest level of consumer education is senior high school, with as many as 42 people (84%).  Most consumers' income or stipend (44%) is less than IDR500.000 per month.  Study results indicated that the consumer attitude score for Melte Vanana melted banana chips at CV Vanana Jaya Sinergi was 188.46 in the good category.  Consumer satisfaction with Melte Vanana melted banana chips at CV Vanana Jaya Sinergi was in the very satisfied criteria, with which score is 85.41. Consumers’ loyalty to Melte Vanana's melted banana chips was categorized as liking the brand (90%) at the loyalty pyramid level. Keywords: Attitude, banana chips, customer behavior, loyalty, satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze income  of arabika and robusta coffee farming,  and the marketing channel patern.  This research was taken in Harapan Jaya and Pesawaran Indah Villages, Way Ratai District, Pesawaran Regency. The sample of this study consisted of 30 robusta farmers and 13 arabica coffee farmers. The farming subsystem was analyzed descriptive quantitatively to analyze the farmer's income in the last year and to assess the feasibility of farming.  The marketing channel pattern was analyzed descriptive qualitatively to determine the pattern of marketing channels of arabica and robusta coffee.  The results showed arabica and robusta coffee farming in Way Ratai District is profitable. Eight percent of arabica coffee farmers used marketing channel II as the most efficient marketing channel, and 40 % of robusta coffee farmers used channel II as the most efficient marketing channel because it has the shortest marketing chain. Keywords: arabica, coffee, channel, income, marketing, robusta.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the service attributes of the Kentucky fried chicken (KFC) fast food restaurant in Pringsewu Regency that need to be retained and upgraded their performance.  This study used a survey method and was conducted by interviewing 22 types of attributes and 60 consumers using a questionnaire.  Determination of the sample is done by probabilistic sampling technique and the analytical method uses questionnaire analysis using Validity Test, Reliability Test, and data analysis using Important Performance Analysis (IPA).  Each attribute is assessed by the level of importance and performance of consumers using a Likert scale of 1-7.  The results of the importance and performance scores of each attribute are then processed and entered into a Cartesian diagram which is divided into four quadrants.  This study shows that of the 22 attributes studied, 13 types of attributes are considered essential and 9 attributes are considered to have satisfactory performance.  The types of performance attributes that need to be retained are the taste of food, speed of service, cleanliness of the premises, employee friendliness, security, employee understanding of the product, the comfort of the premises, availability of parking spaces, and availability of seats.  The attributes that must be upgraded in-service performance are price, toilet cleanliness, availability of a prayer room, and availability of air conditioning.   Keywords: Attributes, performance, important performance analysis (IPA)

Abstract

The study aims to analyze raw material inventory management of agarwood tea, profits of agarwood tea, and the product distribution pattern in CV Bumi Harum, East Ogan Komering Ulu Regency, South Sumatra.  The research method used is a case study by determining the location of the research purposively (deliberately).  Data collection was by means of question and answer session using a questionnaire and observation carried out in December 2021 - January 2022.  The analytical methods used were quantitative descriptive analysis (EOQ and profit analysis) and qualitative descriptive analysis (distribution patterns of agarwood tea).  The results of this study are the optimal amount of stock of agarwood leaves based on the EOQ method is 155 kg per order with a frequency of 24 orders per year.  The profit obtained by the agarwood tea CV Bumi Harum agroindustry per production is IDR2,279,629.12 with a product selling price of IDR10,000.00 per box.  The pattern or distribution channel for agarwood tea at CV Bumi Harum consists of two channels, namely from CV Bumi Harum to consumers and from CV Bumi Harum to retailer and then to consumers. Keywords: agarwood tea, agroindustry, EOQ, profit

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the attitude of consumers toward the purchase of Greenfields milk in Bandar Lampung City in order to investigate the purchasing pattern of Greenfields milk by consumers towards Greenfields milk. This re search was conducted at Chandra Superstore Tanjung Karang, Chamart Wayhalim, Lion Superindo Lampung, Gelael Lampung, Transmart Lampung, MM Surya Pagar Alam, and Indomaret Plus Ryacudu Korpri 2.  The overlay of this research method was a survey with an accidental technique. Thus, the respondents in this study were 56 Greenfield milk consumers who had bought/consumed Greenfield’s milk at least once during their last month. Research data were analyzed using Fishbein Multi-attribute analysis and descriptive analysis. Data collection was conducted from April to Mei 2021. The results showed that the Greenfields milk consumers of Greenfields milk with the most possible attribute, namely the taste attribute. The highest amount of Greenfields milk purchased was UHT milk with full cream flavor. The average number of purchases of Greenfields milk per customer was 3.369ml per month and the average frequency of purchasing Greenfields milk is two times a month.   Keywords: customer attitudes, buying patterns, and Greenfields milk.
