Abstract

Industrial and academic laboratories cannot be separated from the use of DAQ, most of industrial automation generally requires massive amounts of DAQ and high speed. DAQ LabView software provides various facilities so that projects can be faster. Honestly, the price of hardware for DAQ is relatively expensive, luckily LabView give the opportunity to support ability many hardware including Arduino Board. Using the LINX library from Makerhub are free, so that the DAQ Practicum as industry standard can be done by affordable prices. The results without Linx, the average travel time for serial deliveries is 5.98 us/byte at 2Mbps. With Linx, "loop rate (Hz)" feature is valid as a 2-time (trigger-echo) measurement, and the data transmission time is below 20.41 ms, the digital DAQ of 2-way by (trigger-echo) is 20.41, also flip-flop transmission has an average time 13.7 ms/loop, also analog DAQ from LM35 have average time 7.87 ms/loop.

Abstract

The identification system is a procedure to obtain a model of a system, then of the model will be validated to see the accuracy of the model is obtained, compared to the input-output results obtained from the experiments. In the identification system itself known two methods, the method of "non-parametric" and "parametric". On the other hand, DC motor is a type of motor that uses direct electric current to produce rotational mechanical energy and is widely used in various applications. In this study, input and output data acquisition will be performed on the Feedback brand DC motor, and the data will be processed so that the system model is obtained by the black box method. The data will then be processed with the help of MATLAB software. The input signal used in this experiment is Pseudorandom binary sequence (PRBS), which is used because it has a wide frequency range. The signal is generated by an arduino uno microcontroller. From the test results it was found that the validation of the non parametric system model with the correlation analysis method has a fitness value of = 83.19%, while the validation of the parametric system model with the least square ARX method has a fitness value of = 80.59%.

Abstract

The 20 KV PMT (Circuit Breaker) is an important equipment for the reliability of electricity distribution. Therefore it must be maintained so that it is always in good condition with regular maintenance. Prior to maintenance, PMT is terminated from the bus bar, which is called the rack out process. After maintenance, the PMT is reconnected with the bus bar, which is called the rack in process. Usually, 20 KV PMT rack in and rack out process in maintenance or disturbance is still using the manual method. The 20 KV PMT can only be racked in and racked out in one way, by turning the lever. The lever will rotate the bolt as a PMT rail. In the manual method, there is no system for monitoring the condition of the bus bar whether it is has electric-voltage or not. There is also no remote control that can rack in and rack out. So officers must ensure the conditions of PMT and bus bars are safe manually, before maintenance is carried out. This is quite troublesome and dangerous for officers. From these problems, in this research  designed a system that could ensure the condition of the PMT and the bus bar was safe before the rack in and rack out process was carried out and could monitor and control the system remotely using SCADA. Rack-in and rack-out automation system using VT SCADA, using Ethernet Shield that has been connected with Arduino Mega. Ethernet is connected to a mini PC. The microcontroller pins will be connected to the relays that will turn or stop the motor. The rack in and rack out commands from VT SCADA will determine the rotation of the motor so that the PMT moves. The current sensor reads the current flow and detects interference. Interference detection will automatically make PMT Rack out. System testing shows that the process of racking out in a state of maintenance or disturbance can be carried out automatically controlled by VT SCADA. Current sensor works to detect the current flowing, so that it can detect PMT interference and perform automatic rack out. The rack-in process is also capable of being remotely controlled with VT SCADA. This makes it easier for officers to also become additional reliability of PMT in the 20 KV cubicle.

Abstract

Paper production has been identified with industries that destroy forests (deforestation). Utilizing alternative wood substitute raw materials, such as pineapple leaves can be one solution to the problem. Pineapple plants can produce more than 70 leaves with cellulose content in the leaves which reaches 69.5-71.5%, so it has the potential to be used as raw material for paper. The organosolv process was chosen as a pulp manufacturing process because it produces high purity in the byproducts (lignin and hemicellulose), high pulp yield, easy recovery of black liquor and no sulfur element, making it safer for the environment. This study aims to determine the most influential factors in the organosolv pulping process with a factorial experimental design method 23. Variables used include solvent types (ethanol and acetic acid), pulp cooking time (60 minutes and 110 minutes) and types of leaf dryness (wet leaves) and dried leaves). From the results of the analysis, the most influential factor in the organosolv pulping process is the type of solvent (ethanol). Optimal operating conditions were obtained for solvent ethanol, cooking time of 60 minutes with wet leaves, where cellulose content was 96.31% and lignin content decreased by 17.80% in dry pulp.

Abstract

Internal temperature of electric panel practically depend on the amount of power dissipation generated by the panel components and the outside temperature. If this equilibrium is not maintained then the internal temperature can increase too high beyond the working temperature limit for components so as to shorten the life of panel components. Generally, there are two fans installed to circulate the air inside the panel that operates at  fixed speed. In order to improve fan energy efficiency, it is necessary to add a control system that can adjust the fan speed based on actual panel internal temperature. Efforts to increase energy efficiency are realized using cheap hardware and easily available on the market, the ATMEGA 8535 microcontroller and LM 35 temperature sensor. The fan speed is normalized in percent units and expressed virtually using the Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) signal value calculated by the proportional control algorithm inside the controller. The experimental results show that the PWM value can vary with actual panel internal temperature. Using the time constant temperature asumption k1 = 0.2, k2 = 0.4, k3 = 0.2, k4 = 0.2 and experimental data, it was shown by calculations that there was an increase in energy efficiency by 40.8%.

Abstract

Mice are the main reservoir in transmitting leptospirosis, which is an infectious zoonotic disease caused by pathogenic leptospira bacteria, so it needs to be controlled effectively. Mice control has been using traps or rodenticides. One of the pesticides available is permethrin and malathion, which has been used as an insecticide. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of insecticide formulas as rodenticides in killing field mice, house mice, and tree mice. In the research of liquid rodenticide formula, the concentration is 0.025; 0.050 and 0.075% of the active ingredients were tested for efficacy against mice. Data analysis in the form of descriptive. The results showed that the absence of mice that died from these three types of mice, which showed a dose of 0.075%, was too small for mice so that they only experienced seizures. So that further testing is needed to make the killing power more effective on mice.

Abstract

Control of information technology governance at this time is very influential for the organization in achieving its strategic objectives. Technology has become an important part in supporting a service, including in Dr.H. Ibnu Sutowo Baturaja. The hospital has SIMRS in supporting its services. So that governance should be well planned. This research was conducted to evaluate the management of information technology that supports the SIMRS. The results of this study are to find out the value of the level of maturity in Dr. H Ibnu Sutowo Baturaja. Evaluations were carried out using the standard COBIT 5 measurement framework. The focus of this study was the domain of Ensure Resource Optimization (EDM01), Manage the IT Management Framework (APO01) (APO07), Build, Acquire and Implement (BAI04) and Monitoring, Evaluation and Access (MEA01).

Abstract

Non-Destructive Test is a supporting tool that is highly relied upon by the activities of controlling and ensuring the quality of a welding. Radiography test is one of the non-destructive tests that uses gamma rays that can penetrate almost all metals so that it can be used to reveal defects or discrepancies behind metal walls or within the material itself. The purpose of this paper is to know, plan a non-destructive testing activity with radiography test which includes the understanding along with the equipment needed during the testing process, what devices contribute to the testing process, as well as knowing the advantages and disadvantages of the test radiography. The method used in This writing is by experiment with welding connection frame 103 Patrol Ship 73 engine rooms. Radiography Test results found no welding defects on the inside of the welding as deep as a plate thickness, so that otherwise passed the checking received by BKI. Good preparation and consideration are needed before conducting this test.
