Abstract

The calculation of total resistance value is important of ship because  affects the speed of fluid flow that occurs, as well as the speed of the ship.So that in the designing new ships, sea trials are needed to find out whatever the preparedness of the ship is planned. The purpose is to obtain the value of the total resistance and the coefficient of ship resistance KM. Kendhaga Nusantara 6 uses the calculation method for each ship draught/loading condition. The Method used is experimental method with numerical value approach, Denny Mumford theory and Froude's number. The results show that the largest Total Resistance (Rt) is 5646,02 kN, it was found when speed of ship was 12 knots and draught ship 3,5 meters, with a coefficient value (Ct) of 7,757 x 10-3. The difference in value (Ct) is 0,032x10-3 or 0.41%, and it is still in the criteria because it is below 5%.

Abstract

Usually the process of watering and monitoring of plants in the Gita Persada Butterfly Park in Lampung Province is carried out using conventional methods, this condition create many problems. The research aims is to create a prototype of flower garden application based on Internet of Things (IoT) technology. An application that can help relieve watering activities and monitoring with automated system developed by protoyping method, that consist of; communication stage, quick plan and modelling quick design, construction of prototype, and deployment delivery and feedback. This application use microcontroller Arduino Uno as the main controller, temperature sensor, air humidity (DHT11), soil humidity, ultrasonic sensors  (HC-SR04) and application on smartphones android for monitoring. Data delivery between arduino devices, smartphones and databases using website service. There is a firebase library on website Service to connect to firebase. Data transmitted by the device arduino through the protocol http with the command get, send, and push, then received by website Service and forward to be saved on firebase. Based on the data obtained at the air temperature and humidity monitoring around the smart garden for 31 days from April 8 to May 8 , the lowest air temperature is 25°C at 08.00 WIB, 26 April and the highest air temperature 30 °C at 12.00 WIB, 19 April. The average air humidity value is at 95%.

Abstract

IT Service Management (ITSM) is a management concept in providing information technology services properly and successfully to customers, it can also be a method of processing philosophical systems that are centered on the IT service consumer perspective on the company's business. The service management of an organization is basically implemented in the form of the functions of the organization's functions (functions) and the processes that are carried out (processes) in managing and changing the resources (resources) of the organization into the values expected by the customer. ITIL or the summary of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library is a general framework that describes best practices that provide guidance on how Information Technology (IT) service providers should run IT service management. One of the organizations that provide IT services is PT. Telkom, which has an IndiHome application for customers who want to use internet or cable TV services. This research evaluates maturity level the information technology infrastructure that supports IndiHome's business processes at PT. Telkom Bengkulu. So that with this assessment can see the achievement of performance at PT. Telkom Bengkulu. The focus of this research is the domain service operation on ITIL V3.

Abstract

Laboratory is one of the important components in a college, where scientific research, experimentation, development or scientific training activities and even teaching-learning activities are carried out in it, so that a good schedule of space usage management and information on the availability of equipment is needed to support the smooth operation of laboratory use. At present, the process of laboratory services in the Informatics Engineering department of Politeknik Harapan Bersama is still carried out in a conventional manner, where all spatial use activities are recorded in a book, making it ineffective and less efficient. This study aims to build a Laboratory Information System in the Informatics Engineering Department of Politeknik Harapan Bersama. Data collection was performed using the triangulation method. StarUML was chosen as a tool for modeling UML-based systems, and blackbox as a method for testing system functionality. The results of this study are Web-based Laboratory Information Systems. It is expected that with this information system, it can further improve the service and effectiveness of the use of laboratories in the Informatics Engineering Department.

Abstract

Bina Darma University (UBD) as one of the university based information technology currently has been assisted by the use of IT in implementing its strategy. University 4.0 is a university that makes students as a learning center and assisted by the use of IT.  UBD in conducting learning has been assisted by e-learning which is one of the benchmarks of 4.0 University perspectives. E-Learning implementation assists the learning process by students and lecturers. The performance of the e-learning system has not been measured. Measurements are performed to improve the quality of e-learning systems in the 4.0 university perspective. To perform analysis used the IT framework Balanced Scorecard consisting of four perspectives namely Corporate Contribution/Business Contribution, User Orientation, Operational Excellence and Future Orientation. The result of this research is an improved analysis of quality and strategies to improve the quality of e-learning systems in the 4.0 university perspective.

Abstract

The various ship propulsion models there are several considerations in the selection to be applied to the ship, such considerations are required in the planning of the ship's propulsion. With the addition of propeller hub caps fin is expected to deliver a flow model that supports the performance of propulsion systems on ship. The purpose to analyzes the best performance of the propeller shaft engine, representing a comparison of fuel consumption efficiency, as well as ship speed based on the addition of propeller hub caps fin on MV. CEREMAI. Method used was conducted experimentally to determine the performance of the ship's engines before and after using energo pro fin (propeller hub caps fin) with sea trial. Result shows  2% reduction in fuel consumption on the portside main engine and 3% starboard main engine. As well as enabling increased operational speed of KM ships. CIREMAI at 12% with the same rpm round. So selection of ship propeller types affects the performance of enegro profin (propeller hub caps fin).

Abstract

This study is to investigate compatibility between installed main engine in ship with propeller design using theoretical approach and data series. A triple screw rescue boat conducted hard chain hull was used for study and analyze the effect of the changes in powering process stage by observing the result of open water efficiency based on Wageningen Data Series with cavitation analysis has been neglected. The study is considered using intersection between propeller thrust with thrust coefficient and open water efficiency on Wageningen B-Series for fixed pitch propeller. The result indicated that propeller characteristic B5-76 with 41% of efficiency  has compatibility with specification of installed main engine.

Abstract

Theaflavin, a polyphenolic compounds found  in oolong tea and black tea, thought to have medicinal potency. Theaflavins and their derivatives such as theaflavin gallate have shown a broad spectrum of antiviral activity against several viruses, including influenza A, B and hepatitis C viruses. Previous research show that theaflavins could inhibit RdRp activity through blocking the active site in the catalytic pocket of RdRp in SARS‐CoV‐2, SARS‐CoV and MERS‐CoV.. This research aims to extract theaflavins in oolong tea with water solvent at a temperature of 100oC, pressure > 1 atm and varied extraction times (10-60 minutes). The effect of oolong tea extraction time towards the  theaflavin content was observed. The results showed that with the longer extraction time, the theaflavin levels were reduced due to the degradation of thermal theaflavins into thearubigins. The model exponential equation obtained is  y=14,91488 e-0,2631x + 0,11865, with the R2=0.99161. The best operating conditions was obtained at 10 minutes of extraction time, resulted in 1.19% of the total theaflavin content of oolong tea.
