Abstract

Abdillah Kurniawan, Heru Winarno, in paper prototype of waste lifting automatic on channel floodgate based on microcontroller ATMega 8535 explain that waste generated by the community from day to day more and more. Waste problems increasingly complex society is not discipline, in the sense that many people who throw garbage out of place, including dumped in the river. It can disrupt the flow of water. So in this thesis was designed prototype automatic garbage lifting the sluice channel driven by a 12 volt DC motor, used as a carrier conveyor trash removal results, this prototype design using microcontroller 8535 as the system controller. Minimum System 8535 microcontroller itself is as controller input, output, dc motor driver, rang the buzzer in case of opening the floodgates, and lcd M1632 as a viewer status. Abstract

Akbar Tandu Fasila, Heru Winarno, in this paper explain that in the modern era, the progress of technology is very important in their daily lives, particularly in the industrial sector. Changes to automated manual system is very developed in order to achieve the maximum point of production and reduce the level of error that often occur in manual systems. It also affects the yarn spinning industry yanl, g now utilize the tools pensortir menerapkkan yarn bobbins with pneumatic system, PLC and SCADA. Planning tool making this sort can not be separated from the fiber optic sensor for identifying the color on each bobbin thread through the intensity of light that is captured by a fiber optic sensor tersbut. The workings of the system works and consists of two cylinders Pneumatic that serves as the actuator, two sensors fiber optics for detecting the light intensity on the bobbin thread, one unit PLC OMRON CP1E-N 30 DRA as the main controller systems, and SCADA as the monitoring system works. Abstract

           Tsamaroh Nidaa Putri, Priyo Sasmoko explains that accumulator is a combination of several pieces of cells used for altering the chemical energy into electricity energy used in motor vehicles. Accumulators are used continuously will shrink and drop so it needs to be recharged. To know the state of the battery voltage drop experienced the need for a measurement to determine the ability of the accumulator. Design manufacture accumulator discharge monitoring tool consists of a voltage divider circuit to know the big accumulator voltage in percentage form. Used also an ACS712 current sensor to detect the discharge current and LM35 temperature sensor to determine the temperature of the accumulator. The control system used is the Arduino UNO microcontroller and an LCD for displaying the measurement data. Normal voltage ranges accumulator 12,5V - 13,8V. Accumulator with a capacity of 5Ah takes 8 hours to process discharge when using 20 watt lamp load. If the voltage of the first accumulator on the LCD shows the percentage of 0 % then automatically the system will work to discharge  for a second accumulator. Abstract

Aulia Windyandari, in paper simulation model of development method for passenger savety evaluation of freefaal lifeboat explain that since the launching procedure of Freefall Lifeboat (FFL) may have an impact with the water surface, the occupant injury is possible be occured in the evacuation process of the offshore structures.  The FFL shock acceleration has been conducted by the impact force when the lifeboat entry the water surface. If the shock acceleration over the human conciousness allowance, the serious injury will be happened during the FFL launching.According to the conditions, the IMO regulations have standard for the acceptance criteria of FFL shock acceleration induced by water entry impact load. The results measurement of Combined Acceleration Ratio Index (CAR) or Combined Dynamic Response Ratio Index (CDRR) should be comply with the IMO index criteria.In this paper, the methodology of FFL acceleration response prediction by the simulation model analysis will be proposed. The simulation model will be developed by using LS-Dyna code. Abstract

Indartono, in paper use of alternative fuel gas for a motor vehicle fuel oil explain that in many ways energy efficiency can also be more than just preservation. Energy efficiency is an attempt to reduce the use of petroleum materials and the selection of alternative fuels. Improved energy efficiency is also an environmental demands, because it can reduce air pollution, acid rain control the incidence and protect the earth from global warming, which may occur due to buildup of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. One of the alternative fuel is CNG. In motor vehicles, CNG usage advantages include lower price, the exhaust gas is cleaner burning results and the potential source is still very large. Abstract

Retno Hartati, Edy Supriyo, Muhammad Zainuri, in this paper explain that many salt industry is currently undergoing a inefficiencies process in the production system. Declining quality of salt from the salt ponds and lack of homogeneity in the iodine content of salt briquettes and much KIO3 wasted. So it is necessary to increase the iodine levels in salt. This activity aims to design, create and test a iodized salt machine with a capacity of 1-2 tons per hour and perform quality control on products. Community service activities have been successfully implemented by creating iodized salt machine. The process is done by means of iodized salt machine in the salt product becomes higher and meet ISO standards, in which prior to iodized salt machine the content of KIO3 is 0 ppm and become 50 ppm after using KIO3. Abstract

Herdoyo Wirawan, Arkhan Subari, in this paper explain that the DC source at a PLN substation has a very important role in the smooth operation of the substation itself in a protection and serving the electricity needs of customers. This DC source serves to drive protective equipment, emergency lighting, and others.When the DC source on the receptor is interrupted, the dc source used is a DC source that comes from the battery. When certain conditions cannot guarantee whether the battery capacity is capable of supporting the load borne by the battery, it must always be monitored with a voltage sensor. In order for the protective equipment to continue to work, when the rectifier from the PLN power supply is cut off, a voltage source from 12VDC batteries is used. Switching the voltage source between the rectifier and the battery is done automatically by using the ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) circuit. When the DC source from the PLN electricity supply will return it will be detected by an optocoupler sensor which later ATS will automatically switch the voltage source again.

Abstract

A. Sutowo Latief, Rizal Syarief, Bambang Pramudya, Muhadiono, in this paper explain that the reseach was aimed to increase of brown sugarcane (gula tumbu) quality by sulphitation method in laboratory eksperimetal, supposed the result fulfils the first quality according to SNI 1-6237-2000 that is a minimal condition of safety food. The method based on factorial complete random plan thrice reduplications. Initially nira that filtered given lime tohor and heated 50-60oC up to achieve ph 9. The treatment: (1) make nira ph 7 and ph 8 with add sulphite acid, and (2) ripening temperature, that is 70,80,90, and 100oC. Nira that heated up to coagulate and it was poured into moulding and solidification to be brown sugarcane. The testing is done towards sugar quality, it was result with parameter: (1) water contain, (2) sucrose contain, (3) glucose contain, (4) rendemen, (5) colour, (6) taste, (6) smell, and (8) hardness of brown sugarcane that produced fulfil the first quality of SNI 1-6237-2000. The best treatment process heats nira in 100°C, either nira ph 7 and nira ph 8. Keywords: brown sugarcane, quality, sulfitation method.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negeri yang subur, banyak tanaman yang dapat tumbuh, antara lain  tanaman obat, tetapi sampai saat ini belum dimanfaatkan secara maksimal, sehingga perlu adanya sosialisasi dan pelatihan kepada masyarakat. Adanya Pelatihan Pembuatan  Taman Dan Serbuk Tanaman  Obat  Di Pondok Pesantren  Mahasiswa Nurul Hikmah Di Kecamatan Tembalang, Kotamadya Semarang, merupakan  transfer ilmu dan penerapan teknologi tepat guna kepada masyarakat khususnya di Pondok Pesantren Mahasiswa Nurul Hikmah. Pemanfaatan tanaman obat selain untuk dikonsumsi juga untuk penghijauan atau penghias halaman rumah. Pelatihan ini mampu memberikan edukasi kepada mahasiswa di Pondok Pesantren Mahasiswa Nurul Hikmah cara menanam, merawat tanaman obat yang baik dan benar. Indonesia is a fertile country, many plants can grow, including medicinal plants, but until now it has not been utilized optimally, so there needs to be socialization and training for the community. Training on the Making of Parks and Medicinal Powder at the Islamic Boarding School of Nurul Hikmah In Tembalang Subdistrict, Semarang Municipality, is a transfer of knowledge and the application of appropriate technology to the community, especially in the Islamic Boarding School of Nurul Hikmah. Use of medicinal plants in addition to being consumed also for reforestation or decorating the home page. This training is able to provide education to students at the Islamic Boarding School Student Nurul Hikmah. The wisdom of how to plant, treat medicinal plants that are good and right.

Abstract

Binka Aji Wibowo, Saiful Manan, in paper use PMT coupling as load transfer in Sayung District Substation, Demak explain that to meet the reliability of the distribution system , it is necessary to do a continuity in the distribution of electrical energy. There are various causes of outages ranging from maintenance to interference. To resolved these problems, there are several solutions that can be done, such as transfer transformer load through PMT coupling. This can be done by connecting the two busbars by using a PMT. In operation the PMT coupling need to do prior preparation, among others, the daily load calculations. It is intended to carry transformer load does not exceed setting value.
