Abstract

Amalia Eka Rakhmania, Sholeh Hadi Pramono, Dwi Fadila Kurniawan, in this paper explain that radio over Fiber (RoF) is a technology that integrates wireless and wireline transmission system to transmit radio signal through optical fibre cable. This paper evaluates the performance of Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) implemented in RoF system for mobile WiMAX network. RoF channel model includes both optical fiber with Relative Intensity Noise, shot noise, thermal noise, and chromatic dispersion, and also wireless channel with Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN). Through simulation, signal to noise ratio (SNR), channel capacity, bit rate, and bit error rate (BER) with the influence of optical fiber length and wavelength. Result shows that optical fiber length is proportional to SNR, channel capacity, and bit rate but inversely proportional to BER. 1550 nm wavelength has better channel capacity but lesser bit rate than 1310 nm.

Abstract

Adhila Rafik, Yuniarto, in paper smart card application in prepaid digital water meter based on arduino mega 2560  explain that water is a daily necessity, to get a decent clean water to be used, we can use the services of the service taps to get water, but the post-pay payment method used taps raises its own problems, namely the problem of payment arrears. To resolve the issue of payment methods can be converted to a prepaid system, so the use of water dilakuakn after the user makes a payment in advance, many prepaid methods, one of which is the smart card is a plastic card in which there is a microcontroller chip that makes it possible to encrypt the data that there didalamya so not just anyone can read and menulisa data into the card, the use of smart cards as a payment method for a digital prepaid water meter taps, can overcome the problem of payment arrears. Abstract

Pandu Wicaksana, Saiful Manan, in this paper explain that the load balance on the 3 phase 4 wire distribution system is very important. Continuous load imbalances can cause a decrease in the reliability of the electric power system and the quality of electrical energy. One consequence of an unbalanced load is the presence of a current flowing in a neutral introduction. The purpose of this study is to find out and analyze the current in a neutral conductor when the load conditions are unbalanced and when balanced. Load balancing is done by manual-remote, which means that the transfer of taping at a load is done by pressing the button that has been integrated with the HMI display. This software is also responsible for displaying current output from the sensor. That way, it can be seen that the current value of the neutral conductor before and after load balancing is done. That the current value of the neutral conductor will be smaller when the load is balanced compared to when the load between phases is not balanced.

Abstract

Solichin Djazuli Sa’id, in this paper explain that fuel consumption for each vessel were variations depending on the size of ships, ships with a larger size will require more fuel for each mile distance the ship with  a GT 101 for a distance of 1 mile with a speed of 6 knots require diesel fuel (dieselfue oil ) 6.24 liter, GT 1991: 6.06 liter, GT 80: 5.69 liter, GT 71: 5.13 liter, GT 61;4.74 liter and most economical is the GT 45 is only 3.30 liters per milnyaThe lowest operating costs of fishing vessels is to measure 45GT, 101GT highest. Operational Cost (OC) is the most economical ship with size 45 GT (Modern I).Operational costs are dominating the supply of fuel (diesel) 44%.Profit rate (profit rate) obtained by vessels of 45 GT (Modern I)  has a rate of returnabove 15%, the highest in comparison  with vessels of above. Keywords: Fuel consumption, operating costs

Abstract

Muryanto, AP Bayuseno, in this paper explain that gypsum crust (CaSO4.2H2O) that occurs in the pipe very detrimental to the industry because it resulted in narrowing of the cross-section, reinforcing walls, inhibit heat transfer and slow processing time. Therefore, gypsum crust should be prevented or inhibited growth. Gypsum crust growth is affected by the concentration, temperature and flow rate as well as impurities. This study aimed to determine the effect of temperature on the formation of gypsum crust. Gypsum scaling experiments carried out by reacting a NaSO4 with CaCl2 in a test tool that has been designed. The experiments were performed at a temperature of 27oC-50oC with Ca2 + concentration of 3500 ppm, flow rate 30 ml / min and stainless steel test pipes. Results from this study showed a rise in temperature by lowering the induction time and increase mass scale and make a longer crystal sizes. Test results morphology, composition and purity of the results of the experiment showed that the crust was beanr gypsum. Keywords : gypsum, scale, temperature

Abstract

Syarif Aripin, Moediyono, in this paper explain that experiment PLC module is a module that consists of modules and visual experiments. This experimental module consists of PLC (Programmeble Logic Controller) which contained PLC in Central Processor Unit (CPU), memory such as RAM (Radom Access Memory), EPROM (Erasable Programmable Only Memory), EEPROM (Electrical Erasable Programmeble Read Only Memory), input-output module and power supply units (Power supply). PLC is used as props in a series of applications to set the dc motor speed desired by mengguanakan input of the switch. OMRON PLC used is CP1EE with 40 I / O, ie 24 inputs and 16 outputs, PLC is used here as a regulator to enable drivers dc motor is used as a regulator dc motor rotation direction to move pms. In the later rounds measured measurement value is varied. The results of these measurements can be read on the voltmeter and ammeter. Keywords: Driver Motor, DC Motor, Omron PLC CP1E, PMS.

Abstract

PLTMH located in CintaMekar Village, SerangPanjang Sub-District, Subang Province, West Java Province, utilizes Ciasem River water, processed so that it has high water fall 17,61 m, water discharge design 1,100 l / s, hydraulic potential of 160 KW, turbine efficiency of 0.73, efficiency of generator 0.89, out put generator 120 KW, loses 4 KW and total electrical energy generated 116 KW. The purpose of development, to help people who were not reached PLN electricity, to empower the community.Empowerment begun from the time of development, where citizens are involved, which then able to become operators. The result of energy from PLTMH is sold to PLN, then the result is reduced for operational costing, maintenance cost, import cost / electricity payment used, depreciation cost of equipment taken from 10% of transactions, divided by two (50% for PT HidropirantiIntiBaktiSadaya, as shareholder) and 50% for Mekar Sari Cooperative, used for community empowerment. Since its operation, people who do not have electricity grid, are connected to electricity. In addition, the proceeds from the sale of electricity to PLN are used to help with the cost of education / scholarship, health, loans for business and cooperative operations. Empowerment implemented or managed Mekar Sari Cooperative. Along with the development of the era, empowerment assistance now being implemented includes: Health Sector in cooperation with Village Midwife, Savings and Loans and Scholarships for Primary School - 10 People and Junior High School - 5 People.

Abstract

Hanna Fury Nur Ramdany, Heru Winarno in this paper explain that inductors have an important role in the field of electronics. Many values of capacitors and inductors whose values are difficult to translate, namely when capacitors and inductors are of low value and the color of the print is less clear , also considering the human read factor  when an analog measuring instrument is used. From these problems, it is designed an inductance measuring instrument (L Meter) whose results can be directly displayed.The research method used in the manufacture of inductance meter measuring instruments is the literature method and laboratory tests using frequency variables generated or read by the oscillator circuit. The inductance measuring instrument designed in this researc is simple and meticulous measuring instrument that can be read and used by everyone. This digital inductance meter can be used to measure inductance - inductance with a level or a range of measurements between 20μH –100mH.The lower the inductor value measured, the higher the percentage error. So that the tools designed must be able to work well. Abstract

Ignatius Chistiawan, in this paper explain that in the management of buildings, frequent damage to buildings due to the increasing load beyond the load plan. Safety of building users to the dangers of building collapse is the main priority. The addition of load beyond the load on the building plans because of changes in building functions often lead to the collapse of the building. The addition of load beyond the load on the building plans because of changes in building functions often lead to the collapse of buildings. Structural strength evaluation to the condition of existing building is required and when it is necessary to give reinforcement to the plate, beams and columns before adding a new load. additional reinforcement is one way of strengthening the column. Research was focused on performance evaluation of structure on existing condition relate at regulation of the Procedure of Concrete Structure Calculation for the SNI 2847-2002. From some previous research, the basics of analysis and design of flexible and practical calculation examples retrofitting columns with the addition of reinforcement can be concluded that this method is easy and practically implemented and can improve the flexural strength of reinforced concrete columns.
