Introduction: Uncontrolled DM hyperglycaemia will cause an increase in osmolarity which will disrupt the body's fluid and electrolyte balance. Rehydration therapy will replace the composition of body fluids caused by hyperosmolarity. Observation of management of hyperglycaemia only focuses on looking at blood sugar levels after rehydration therapy is given without looking at the body's osmolarity as an indicator of body fluid balance. This study aims to analyse changes in osmolarity in hyperglycaemic patients receiving rehydration therapy. Methods: This study was a comparative study with a prospective cohort approach. The number of samples in this study were 56 respondents with data collection using the consecutive sampling technique. Study sample of hyperglycaemic DM patients receiving rehydration therapy at the emergency room at a hospital in Tulungagung. The research instrument used an observation sheet. Data analysis used paired t-test.Results: Based on bivariate analysis there are changes due to rehydration therapy in the osmolarity variable with p value 0.000.Conclusion: Changes in osmolarity occur due to a decrease in blood glucose levels after fluid rehydration is carried out. This further proves that rehydration therapy is very effective in reducing blood glucose levels (hyperosmolarity) in the blood. Continuous osmolarity and hemodynamic examination are very necessary for hyperglycaemic patients with rehydration therapy to determine the effects of rehydration therapy as well as to determine the side effects of rehydration therapy so prevention can be done so that it does not become a problem causing emergency emergency situations.

Introduction: Health Care Associated Infection (HAIs) is a major problem faced throughout the world and this incident continues to increase. The use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) of nurses is inadequate. Previous studies have not yet described how the suitability of PPE use with the actions taken by nurses. Therefore, in this study will be described how the use of PPE by nurses. The study aimed to identify nurse compliance in using PPE.Methods: This was a descriptive analytic and observation method for data collection. The sample in this study was an action carried out by nurses, in this case the nurse was observed to suit the use of PPE with Standard Operating Procedure (SPO) in the hospital. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling towards 67 actions of PPE using observation sheet according to hospital SPO. Data is processed univariately and presented in the form of frequency distribution. Results: The result showed that, PPE most frequently used in general ward that is gloves, mask, and also apron. The results showed that as many as 54,39% of actions taken by nurses were inappropriate in the use of glove. The use of masks and apron among the nurses is almost entirely correct, only 1 mask error was found. Conclusion: PPI through Infection Prevention Control Nurse (IPCN) should provide socialization and information on the use of PPE in accordance with hospital standard operational procedure. Introduction: The learning process of nursing students faced complexity problems, particularly in community health nursing course. There is no latest information technology application that addresses are impacted to the educational problems of undergraduate and professional nursing program. An unclearly visualization of the data assessment of community nursing care provide distresses for lecturer and nursing student. Geographic Information Systems (GIS) provide a detail visualization that related to health problems in the community. This study aims to provide a visualization about the development of GIS that may become an alternative learning for nursing students. Methods: This article describes the part of action research process. Five nursing students and two lecturers of community health nursing were recruited. The data collection was conducted by interview and observation for data assessment in the first step of development of GIS application. Results: There were four steps of making of GIS application, which is divided into four steps, including need analyzing, application design planning, the diagram of data flow, and application description. Conclusion: The GIS has benefit for learning process, some policies are necessary to mediate the development and application of GIS for nursing students in community health nursing course.

Introduction: Complications in catheterization vascular access range from 1%-61%. One of interventions that can be taken to prevent hematoma and reduce pain in post PCI patients at off sheath is with cold compresses or ice bag. The fact shows that pain and hematoma in patient PCI in hospital just done by using sand bag therapy. There was a limited review about the use of ice bag to reduce pain in patients with PCI.Methods: Searched articles through Science Direct, PubMed, EBSCO and Google Scholar conducted using advanced searching with keywords including “ice bag”, “pain”, and “percutaneous coronary intervention”. Searching through Google Scholar using keywords involving “effectiveness of ice bag on pain in patient’s percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)”.Results: There were three articles control trials and the results showed that implementation of cold compresses with ice bag for 20 minutes before and after catheter release in PCI measures was significant in reducing pain (P <0.05).Conclusion: Giving cold compresses can reduce pain because it can inhibit the fibber of small-diameter nerves in delivering pain stimuli.
