AbstractIntroduction Disease patterns change in the World led to significant increases of non infectious diseases, one of which is DM hyperglycemia with Indonesian rank fifth in the World. Uncontrolled DM hyperglycemia will lead an increase in osmolarity that will disrupt the body's fluid and electrolyte balance. The primary management of hyperglycaemia according to ADA is by fluid rehydration therapy. Rehydration therapy will replace the body fluid composition caused by hyperosmolarity. Successful replacement of rehydration fluids can be seen by monitoring continuous and sustained hemodynamics and osmolarity. This study aims is to analyze the changes of osmolarity hyperglycemia patients with receiving rehydration therapy.Metods : This study included into comparative studies with a cohort approach. The number of samples in this study as many as 56 respondents. Date collection using consecutive sampling technique.Result : From the result of the research based on the bivariate analysis test, there are different of osmolarity before and after rehydration therapy (p value 0,000).Discussion : Rehydration therapy giving decreased of hiperosmolarity in hyperglicemia patients. Continuous checking osmolarity needed for hyperglycemic patients receiving rehydration therapy to determine the effect of rehydration therapy and to know the side effects of rehydration therapy so that prevention can be done to avoid problems causing emergency situations.

Introduction: The nurses’ role within nursing care of tuberculosis patients in hospitals is very important. Nurses problem are preparing nursing interventions in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis rarely use the standard Nursing Intervention Classification (NIC). Independent nursing interventions are not in accordance with the diagnoses established by nurses, so the impact on the implementation needed by patients is not in accordance with the problems occured. Collaborative intervention is mostly carried out by nurses compared to independent intervention. Nurses must arrange nursing interventions based on the standard of nursing diagnoses that are enforced. The objective study was to describe the interventions compiled by nurses at the hospital. Methods: Research design was qualitative research with observational approach. Sample was 100 nurse’s documentastions of pulmonary tuberculosis patient in TB MDR ward. Data analysis used language and text analysis with content analysis. Results: The results research was the highest 10 interventions written by nurses is intervention about observe general condition of patient was 83 times, collaboration with doctor’s therapy was 54 times, give comfort position was 54 times, give therapy was 47 times, check vital signs regulerly was 40 times, give oxigen was 34 times, advise to bedrest was 30 times, teach to effective cough was 25 times, Give position semi fowler was 15% times, and teach to deep breath was 15 times. This research has been conducted by the Ethics Institute of Stikes Banyuwangi. Results: The results of the study found that most of the fostered residents received less social support as many as 34 respondents and 25 respondents experienced mild stress levels. The result of statistical calculation of Spearmen Rank obtained correlation co-efficient value of -0.665 and sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000 (<0.05), thus it means that there is a significant relationship between social support and the level of stress in female inmates. Conclusion: Female inmates who receive good social support will have a positive impact on their psychological i.e. not experiencing stress. Introduction: In nursing practice nurses often show less optimal caring interactions because they have overload tasks. The purpose of this study was to describe the caring interactions between nurses and patients. Methods: This study was a descriptive study with a survey approach. The samples were 89 nurses at the inpatient wards who were recruited using purposive sampling technique. The data were collected using the Caring Nurse-Patient Interactions (CNPI-23N) tool and analyzed using a univariate analysis presented in the form of the frequency distribution. Results: The results showed that 84.3% of caring interactions between nurses and patients were good, and the remaining 18.7% were adequate. The dimension of comforting care achieved the highest value in which all respondents (100%) were at a good level. Meanwhile, the dimension of humanistic care achieved the lowest value in which 38.2% of respondents were at an adequate level. Conclusion: This study concluded that the caring interactions between nurses and patients had been well implemented. Introduction: Early intervention of stroke would be reduced mortality and risk of disability. Early intervention was supported by the knowledge of risk factors and early symptoms of stroke. This study was aimed to determine the relationship between family knowledge and behavior in the initial treatment of stroke events. Methods: This study used a correlational descriptive design with cross-sectional approach. The researchers employed a non-probability sampling i.e. accidental sampling. The study was conducted at a hospital in Semarang in May 2019. The respondents were 77 families of patients during the stroke. The knowledge tool used the Stroke Recognition Questionnaire (SRQ) consisting of 30 questions and a behavioral questionnaire involving nine questions. Data analysis used Spearman Rank. Results: The result of bivariate analysis indicates there is a correlation between family knowledge and behavior with the value P = 0.000 and r = 0.83. Conclusion: The study concluded there was a correlation between knowledge and behavior. Correlation between the two variables was strong and indicated the positive direction of correlation which the higher of knowledge influenced the better of Family behavior. Nursing interventions needs to be developed to increase knowledge about the risk factors and early symptoms of stroke and management at home at the stroke outbreak.
