Abstract

This study aims to describe leadership style, work environment, work motivation and employee performance at the Regional Secretariat of East Tanjung Jabung Regency and analyze the influence of leadership style and work environment through work motivation on employee performance at the Regional Secretariat of East Tanjung Jabung Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive verification and quantitative methods. The object of research in this study is the influence of leadership style and work environment through work motivation on employee performance at the Regional Secretariat of East Tanjung Jabung Regency. This research uses path analysis method. Based on the description of leadership style, work environment, work motivation and employee performance at the Regional Secretariat of East Tanjung Jabung Regency that leadership style is included in the "good" category, the work environment is included in the "good" category, employee motivation is included in the "high" category, while employee performance is included in the "good" category. Based on the results of path analysis, the total influence of Leadership Style (X1) and Work Environment (X2) on Work Motivation (Y) is 91.2%. Then in total the influence of Leadership Style (X1) and Work Environment (X2) on Performance (Z) is 84.5%. Work Motivation has a positive and significant effect of 65.3% on employee performance at the Regional Secretariat of East Tanjung Jabung Regency. While the direct influence of Leadership Style and Work Environment together through Work Motivation on the total influence of Leadership Style (X1) and Work Environment (X2) on Performance (Z) through Work Motivation is 59.2%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect between lifestyle and brand imaged on purchasing decisions on Kawasaki Ninja Sport Motorcycle in Surabaya. The study used quantitative method through a population approach of Kawasaki Ninja’s owners in the city of Surabaya. Data was collected by non-probability sampling, also purposive sampling techniques with total of 66 respondents. The data collection method is raised through survey results engaged with Partial Least Square software as analysis tool. The research shows that the lifestyle and the brand image have a significant influence on purchased decision of Kawasaki Ninja Sports Motorcycle. Then it can be concluded as the higher between lifestyle demand, also the better brand image for the brand, it will affect on buying decision for the Kawasaki Sports Motorcycle in Surabaya.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the leadership style, professionalism, work motivation and teacher performance in State High School 1 Merangin and to analyze the influence of leadership style and professionalism partially and simultaneously directly and indirectly on work motivation and employee performance, as well as to analyze work motivation on employee performance. To answer the purpose of this research, this research is supported by theoretical studies related to research variables, namely leadership style, professionalism, work motivation, and performance. In addition, the author is also looking for relevant previous research in the form of articles/journals and previous theses to support this research. The population in this study is teachers of SMAN 1 Merangin which amounts to 50 teachers with conditions in 2022. The data analysis technique used in this study is through path analysis followed by hypothesis testing through F test (Simultaneous) and t test (Partial). From the path analysis testing conducted, it was found that leadership style and professionalism have an influence on work motivation and teacher performance, both directly and indirectly. This explains that if the organization has a good leadership style and better professionalism, this will further increase teacher motivation for the organization and provide maximum work results. This study concluded that the leadership style, professionalism, work motivation and performance of SMAN 1 Merangin teachers are in good condition. In addition, leadership style and professionalism partially and simultaneously have a positive and significant influence on work motivation and teacher performance at SMAN 1 Merangin. Similarly, work motivation has a positive and significant influence on teacher performance.

Abstract

Return On Equity (ROE) is a measure to see the performance of Islamic banks in terms of profitability. This study uses ROA as an intervening variable because ROA is an indicator of a bank's ability to earn returns on a number of assets it owns. Likewise, ROA measures the level of profit on the assets used to generate that profit. Factors that affect ROE in this study are murabahah, musyarakah, and mudharabah financing. This research is a quantitative research using secondary data, namely the annual data of Indonesian Sharia Banks published on the OJK website studied for the 2019-2022 period. The method used in this research is multiple linear regression with a significance level of 0.05 and path analysis. The results showed that partially the financing of Murabahah, Musyarakah, Mudhrabaha, and ROA has a significant effect on ROE. Partially, Murabahah and Musyarakah financing does not have a significant effect on ROA, while Mudharabah financing has a significant effect on ROA. Partially Musyarakah and ROA financing have a significant effect on ROE, while Murabahah and Mudharabah financing have no significant effect on ROE. Return On Assets (ROA) can mediate murabahah, musyarakah and mudharabah financing for Return On Equity (ROE) at Bank Syariah Indonesia for the 2019-2022 period.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of profitability, liquidity, solvency, and activity on the stock prices of hotel and tourism sub-sector companies listed on the IDX for the 2019-2021 period. The research method used is descriptive quantitative method, and the population used in this research is the hotel and tourism sub-sector companies that have been listed on the IDX. The sample selection technique uses the methodpurposive sampling. The number of samples obtained was 16 companies during the 2019-2021 period. Data collection is done by collecting annual reports and financial reports from the company's official website as well as the website www.idx.com . The data that has been collected is processed using the SPSS version 25 analysis tool with descriptive statistical test analysis methods, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that profitability (ROE) has a negative and significant effect on stock prices, liquidity (CR) has a negative and insignificant effect on stock prices, solvency (DER) has a positive and significant effect on stock prices, and activity (TATO) has a positive and no effect. significant to stock prices.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the professionalism, work discipline, work motivation and performance of ASN teachers at State MTS Muaro Jambi Regency and to analyze the effect of professionalism and work discipline partially and simultaneously directly and indirectly on teacher work motivation and performance, as well as to analyze work motivation on teacher performance. To answer the research objectives, this research is supported by theoretical studies related to the research variables namely professionalism, work discipline, work motivation, and performance. In addition, the authors also look for relevant previous research in the form of previous articles/journals and theses to support this research. The population in this study is ASN MTS teachers in the state of Muaro Jambi, totaling 112 teachers with employee conditions in 2022. Data analysis techniques used in the study This is through path analysis followed by hypothesis testing through the F test (Simultaneous) and the t test (Partial). From the path analysis tests carried out, the result is that professionalism and work discipline have an influence on teacher work motivation and performance, both directly and indirect. This explains that if the organization has good professionalism teachers and the better the work discipline of the teachers, this will further increase employee motivation towards the organization and provide maximum work results. This study concludes professionalism, work discipline, work motivation and employee performance in conditions the good one. In addition, professionalism and work discipline partially and simultaneously have a positive and significant influence on the work motivation and performance of teachers at the State MTS of Muaro Jambi Regency. Likewise, work motivation has a positive and significant influence on teacher performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the capital adequacy ratio, business risk, and company size on firm value with profitability as a moderating variable for banking companies listed on the IDX for 2019-2021. The research population is all banking companies and the selected sample is 81 companies. The secondary data used in this study were taken from the Indonesian Stock Exchange website. The analysis technique uses multiple linear regression. The results of the study partially show that the capital adequacy ratio and business risk have no effect on firm value, while firm size has an effect on firm value. Moderation results show that the capital adequacy ratio and firm size have an effect on firm value which is moderated by profitability, while business risk has no effect on firm value which is moderated by profitability.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of training, work discipline, and intrinsic motivation on the quality of human resources of the Dinas Linkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan DIY employee. The population and samples used in this study were employees of the Dinas Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan DIY. totaling 90 people and a sample of 60 people using purposive sampling method. The data collection method uses the distribution of questionnaires. Data analysis using validity and reliability tests and through two stages of testing, namely: classical assumption test and hypothesis testing (t test and F test). The results of this study indicate that training has no effect on the quality of human resources. There is a positive and significant influence on work discipline variables and intrinsic motivation on the quality of employee human resources and training, work discipline, and intrinsic motivation affect the quality of human in the Dinas Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan DIY.

Abstract

Advances in technology and information are currently experiencing very fast growth, one of which is telecommunication, where almost every individual needs it in their daily activities. Because of necessity, technology continues to be developed so that it can do many things that are usually done by computers. Smartphones are now the most important part of your routine. The rise of smartphone use in modern society's lifestyle has resulted in the number of individuals using smartphones continuing to increase from one year to the next. This has become a trigger for companies to aggressively conduct research and sales to Indonesia, one of which is the Xiaomi smartphone company by creating smartphones that are supported by the latest capabilities and attractive designs. Even though Xiaomi smartphones are in great demand by the Indonesian people, even though they are not yet the market leaders because each individual has different tastes, needs and desires in determining the smartphone they will use to get certain satisfaction. So the purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of experiential marketing and product design on consumer satisfaction with purchase decisions as an intervening variable for Xiaomi consumers. This research is a quantitative study by distributing questionnaires to a random sample of 100 respondents living in Yogyakarta. This study uses the category of non-probability sampling with accidental purposive sampling technique. From this study, it was found that all variables had a positive influence and Experiential Marketing (EM) on Consumer Satisfaction (KK) with Purchase Decision (KP) as an acceptable intervening variable. Product Design (DP) on Consumer Satisfaction (KK) with Purchasing Decision (KP) as the intervening variable is accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) analyze the development of local taxes in Jambi City in the period 1998–2021. (2) To analyze what factors affect local tax revenue in Jambi City in the period 1998–2021. (3) To analyze the effect of local tax revenue on economic growth in Jambi City in the period 1998–2021. This study uses secondary data in the form of time series data during the period 1998–2021. The analysis techniques used in this research are descriptive, qualitative, and quantitative. The model used in this analysis is an econometric model with the Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) model. The results of the study provide conclusions. (1) The development of tax revenue in Jambi City in 1998–2021 tends to experience fluctuations, but overall tax revenue in Jambi City has shown quite good development. (2) GRDP, population, and investment partially affect the amount of hotel tax revenue in Jambi City. Meanwhile, inflation and government policy variables have no significant effect on the amount of hotel tax revenue in Jambi City. Furthermore, GRDP, population, inflation, and investment partially affect the amount of restaurant tax revenue in Jambi City. Meanwhile, the government policy variable has no significant effect on the amount of restaurant tax revenue in Jambi City. Next, GRDP, population, investment, and government policy partially affect the amount of entertainment tax revenue in Jambi City. While the inflation variable has no significant effect on the amount of entertainment tax revenue in Jambi City, GRDP, inflation, investment, and government policy partially affect the amount of billboard tax revenue in Jambi City. Meanwhile, the population variable has no significant effect on the amount of billboard tax revenue in Jambi City. Finally, GRDP, inflation, investment, and population partially affect the amount of street lighting tax revenue in Jambi City. Meanwhile, the government policy variable has no significant effect on the amount of street lighting tax revenue in Jambi City. (3) Entertainment, hotel, and restaurant taxes positively and significantly affect economic growth in Jambi City from 1998–2021. Meanwhile, billboard taxes and street lighting taxes have no significant effect on economic growth in Jambi City.
