Abstract

]awara merupakan salah satu dari entitas dari masyarakat Banten yang cukup terkenal Ia dikenal bukan saja karena pengaruh kharismanya yang melewati batas-batas geografis, tetapi juga budaya kekerasan yang melekat padanya. Sehingga ia dikenal sebagai subculture of violence dalam masyarakat Banten. Sebagai subkultur kekerasan, jawara memiliki motif-motif tertentu dalam melakukan kekerasan. Mereka pun mengembangkan gaya bahasa atau tutur kata yang khas, yang terkesan sangat kasar (sompra) dan penampilan diri yang berbeda dari mayoritas masyarakat, seperti berpakaian hitam dan memakai senjata golok.Kekerasan yang dilakukan jawara pada umumnya dimaknai oleh yang bersangkutan sebagai upaya pembelaan terhadap orangyang dipandang melakukan pelecehan harga diri yang menyebabkan yang bersangkutan merasa malu. Pelecehan terhadap harga diri dinterpretasikan oleh kalangan jawara sebagai pelecehan terhadap kapasitas dan kapabilitas diri dan ini sangat terkait dengan peran dan status sosial di masyarakat. Karena itu pelecehan terhadap harga diri dipahami sebagai pelecehan terhadap peran dan statusnya di masyarakat.Batasan tentang pelecehan harga diri itu memang tidak tegas karena itu sering dinterpretasikan secara suryektif oleh pelakunya. Sehingga yang menyebabkan kasus pelecehan harga diri itu berbagai macam seperti tuduhan pencurian, gangguan terhadap istri atau pacar, balas dendam atau kekalahan dalam politik desa atau persaingan bisnis. Dalam konteks ini kekerasan yang dilakukan jawara memang sangat terkait denngan "konstruksi maskulinitas" dalam budaya masyarakat.Kekerasan yang dilakukan jawara selain sebagai sarana untuk mempertahankan harga diri, kekerasan juga dipandang sebagai alat untuk meraih posisi atau status sosial lebih tinggi sebagai seorang jawara yang disegani dalam lingkungan komunitas mereka. Sehingga mereka biasa menjadi pimpinan jawara (bapak buah) denga memiliki sejumlah pengikut (anak buah). Bahkan dengan posisi dan status sosial ini mereka pula dapat meraih kedudukan formal dalam lingkuugan institusi formal seperti menjadi jaro, kepala desa, bahkan untuk menjadi bupati atau wali kota.Kata Kunci: Jawara, Budaya Kekerasan, Banten

Abstract

Nawawi al-Bantani (1230-1316 AH. /1813-1898 AC.) is a Syafi'i scholar from Indonesia who stayed in Mecca and was productive in writing variety of fiqh books. One important topic on his fiqh is about marriage (fiqh al-munakahiit) and women's role. However, many Indonesia feminists is considere his thougt to be gender biased and therefore is considered to irrelevant to contemporary development of fiqh munakahat However, Nawawi 's thought of munakahat is very popular and it is still taught at variety of pesantren as well as madrasah in Indonesia The result of this research shows (1) fiqh Nawawi al -Bantani's thought in munakahat is not far different from other books in Syafi 'i' s school. It is stated on Nawawi's muqadimah book that his work is of several books of mu'tamad Syafi 'i school. (2) Some Nawawi's thought are considered to be gender biased Because, he put women in domestic sphere to serve men, and not to put women in equal and reciprocal gender relation (3) Several Nawawi's thoughts are still rellevant tocontempary development. It is proven on Nawawi's thought of marriage contract, term and harmonious marriage, approval of two parties, marriage age, guardian as term and harmoniousmarriage, witness in marriage, dowry, prohibition in marriage, kafa'ah, right and obligation of marriage couple, divorce and its consequences, idda/waiting period, mut'a and time living idda and reconciliation are incorporates into positive Indonesia Marriage law no. 1 year 1974 and the Compilation Islamic law. But considering to the marriage law as considered discriminatory, it is necessary to the change that law to be more accommodative that supports the concept of the equality of gender relation in a marriage. Abstract

Salah satu faktor utama penyebab munculnya gagasan pluralisme adalah pesatnya perkembangan teknologi transportasi dan komunikasi, yang membawa implikasi kepada fakta bahwa tidak ada satu tempatpun di dunia ini yang terisolasi dan terasing. Dunia berubah menjadi perkampungan global ''global village" dengan beragam etnis, kultur dan keyakinan, dimana sebuah komunitas harus berhadapan dengan tradisi asing: tradisi yang diacuhkan dan dibencinya. Hal ini menimbulkan ketidakpastian teologis, psikologis, sosial dan kultural keyakinan dan tradisi yang dianggap asli, unggul dan unik, berhadapan dengan keyakinan dan tradisi lain yang juga dianggap asli, unggul dan unik.Dampaknya bisa dilihat dalam perubahan sikap dan pandangan pemeluk agama terhadap agama lain. Terjadi perubahan sudut pandang yang semula ekslusif dan intoleran menjadi lebih inklusif dan toleran, dan karenanya menerima realitas pluralistik sebagai sebuah kenyataan. Dengan kata lain, globalisasi telah membuat pluralisme sebagai salah satu bentuk pandangan yang diterima oleh para pemeluk agama-agama.Gaung wacana pluralisme semakin menguat dan respon terhadapnya beragam. Pendukung dan penentangnya terkadang memiliki pandangan yang ekstrim, sehingga menjurus pada sikap yang kontraproduktif. Pendukung pluralisme terjebak pada penerimaan total pluralisme tanpa sikap kritis dengan keyakinan bahwa pluralisme tanpa kekurangan. Sebaliknya, penentangnya acuh dengan keyakinan pluralisme tidak mengandung nilai positif. Dua bentuk sikap yang dalam kerangka ilmiah dan akademis tidak patut dan pantas.

This article describes the authorships in Banten by analyzing the authors as follow: Syaikh Yusuf al-Maqassari; Syekh Nawawi AI-Bantani; Hoesein Djajadiningrat and his brothers; Gola Gong and other new generation authors. It also tries to explain the biography of the authors, their works, and social conditions that have probably influenced their authorships. Ia berpindah dari satu uraian ke uraian yang lain walaupun uraian yang pertama belum tuntas. Sedangkan uraian berikutnya seringkali tidak mempunyai hubungan dengan uraian terdahulu.

Abstract

The development of Islamic mysticism faces the neiv era cifter it is merely found at villagers. Nowadays, Islamic mysticism goes on urban society and has irifluenced the society. Due to its transcendental esoteric side, Islamic mysticism fills the empty spaces of urban modem society. Along the day, people fail to persuade their hearts and souls into the deepest level of humanity. They have framed in the modern life style which merely measured by financial, matter, luxury, and so on. Actually, it is no one and only the measure of happiness. Nowadays, more people start aware that Islamic mysticism (religion) gives them the composure and true mean of life. This life is gift from God, therefore we have to recognize ma’rifat of God. In Islamic mysticim, they fin God as source of happiness.How the religiousty of Jamaah Pengajian Pengurus Cabang Muhammadiyah (PCM) Slipi Kota Bambu, West Jakarta, by the implementation of Islamic mysticism values becomes the main question of this research.This research shows that their religiosity is significant enough. It is based on high implementation of Islamic mysticism values at Jamaah Pengajian Pengurus Cabang Muhammadryah (PCM) Slipi Kota Bambu, Jakarta Barat. In the other case, we found low implementation of Islamic mysticism values, and needed to be improved. So, this religiousily of J amaah Pengajian Pengurus Cabang Muhammadiyah (PCM) Slipi Kota Bambu, West Jakarta, by the implementation of Islamic mysticism values, can be called urban Islamic mysticism (tasawuf kota) thas has the ways to apply subtantive values (not symbolic) of islamic mysticism.

Abstract

Dalam perspektif sejarah, perkembangan; teologi Islam terbagi dalam tiga tahap. Pertama persoalan-persoalan teologi timbul sejak zaman Rasulullah sebagai dampak heterogenitas. Kemudian, pada masa Bani Umayyah persoalan-persoalan teologi dikodifikasikan menjadi suatu disiplin ilmu yang bersifat sederhana. Kedua, pada masa Bani Abbas teologi Islam bercorak filosofis, metodelogis, dan sistematis. Ketiga, pada masa skolastik teologis Islam mengambil bentuk sintesa. Bagaimanapun bentuknya, teologi Islam timbul sebagai upaya merespon tantangan eksternal dan internal yang berkaitan dengan akidah Islamiyah.
