Abstract

Estimated of the number of cases of MDR TB in the world reached 489-139 in 2008. The WHO global report 2010, estimated MDR - TB patients in Indonesia amounted to 8.900 Indonesia 's ranks 8th from 27 countries with the most cases of MDR - TB . Resistance OAT cases is difficult to treat because of complex treatment, expensive, and side effects of treatment with unsatisfactory results. The research problem is to understand the results of the treatment from patients with MDR – TB. The purpose of this study is to determine the evaluation of treatment results of MDR – TB patients. The survey methods is cross sectional study design. The population is all outpatients that has been declared as MDR – TB patients. Nonparametric test analysis (Mann Whitney Test). The results showed that the outcomes of treatment evaluation of patients with Multi Drug Resistant (MDR - TB) has significant relationship variable age P - value = 0.022 ( <0.05 ) , and variable drug side effects p - value = 0.047 ( <0.05 ) , whereas from 24 respondents that has been with MDR- TB patients the result found that the greater number of respondents who failed in the treatment than the respondents were healed. Family support is a must and good environment in terms of providing support for the patient to remain on treatment and take medication regularly . The key conclusions of this research is increasing age and side effects of OAT resistance leads to successful treatment of patients.

Abstract

The incidence of falls in the elderly can be affected by intrinsic and extrinsic factors (Darmojo, 2004 quoted from Kane, 1994). The data collected from November 2012 to November 2013 at PSTW Budi Mulia IVwith a total of 200 the number of elderly people, shows the incidence of falls/injury as many as 12 people (6%), while in Jakarta Melania PSTW 20 out of 50 elderly people had experienced incidence of falls/injury (40%). The purpose of this study is to determine the Analysis of factors associated with the incidence of falls/ injury in the elderly at PSTW Budi Mulia IV Jakarta and Tangerang PSTW Melania. This study used a descriptive analytic design which analyse the correlation between two variables, as an indicator of how far the contribution of the dependent variable to the presence of independent variable. This design used cross-sectional approach. The results of the bivariate analysis (correlation test) showed that the following variables had a significant association with the incidence of falls/injury in the elderly in PSTW Budi Mulia IV Jakarta disturbances of gait with P = 0.033 OR 2.062 value, the environment variable with the value of P = 0.000 OR 6.463. While in PSTW Melania Tangerang had the environment variable with the value of P=0.001OR 9,000. Variables that have a weak connection to the incident falls in the elderly at PSTW Budi Mulia IV Jakarta is cognitive impairment with P = 0.103, while at PSTW Melania Tangerang, gait disturbance with the value of P = 0.144 OR 2.528 and cognitive impairment with P=0.404.

Abstract

Exclusive breastfeeding during the first 6 months is very important in accordance with one of the goals of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) to reduce child mortality and improving maternal health. Based on the report by the World Breastfeeding Trends Initiative 2012, Indonesia ranks 49 out of 51 countries that support exclusive breastfeeding. Nurses have a very important role especially educative and promotion to the community in providing health education on exclusive breastfeeding. (M.Hamdani, 2013). The purpose of this study to analyze factors associated with exclusive breastfeeding behavior on Nurses in Hospital SouthTangerang area. This study used a cross-sectional approach, namely the measurement of the independentvariables and the dependent variable only once in a while (Nursalam, 2003). The results of bivariate analysisusing Chi-square statistical test with the research of knowledge, level of education, motivation, parity, workenvironment, family support and the support of peers do not have a meaningful relationship with the behavior of exclusive breastfeeding in nursing with a P-values sequentially: P=0.069; P=0.476; P=0.079; P=0.282; P=0.771; P=0.153; P=0.055. While mother interest and quantity of breast milk have a meaningful relationship with the behavior of exclusive breastfeeding in the hospital nursing staff of South Tangerang region, with a value of P values in a row is P=0.049 with OR:3.400 and P=0.001 with OR:7.249.

This study uses an analytical methodpremises number of respondents 138 people. The results of the research that the frequency distribution ofrupture of the perineum by 138 people (77%), there was no significant association between maternal age on theincidence of rupture of the perineum, the value of P value is 0.692 or ≥ 0.05, there is a significant relationshipbetween the baby's weight on the incidence of rupture of the perineum , with the value of the P value is 0.000 or≤ 0.05, there is a significant relationship between the parity of the incidence of rupture of the perineum, thevalue of the P value is 0.033 or ≤ 0.05. From the results of research based on three variables in this study is thevariable weight infants 2500-4000 grams of the rupture of the perineum Grade I-II as many as 118 infants(93.7%). Abstract

Low birth weight (LBW) is when the baby's weight less than 2500 grams (up to 2499 grams). Babieswho are born with LBW are generally unable to reduce the new environmental pressures that can lead toweakened growth and development, even interfere with their survival (Prawirohardjo, 2006). This study usessecondary data to review maternal books with LBW status, maternal age, parity, double pregnant, andgestational age. The populations in this study were 196 women giving birth to LBWatBekasi City Hospital fromJuly 1, 2012 until July 12, 2013 and the sampling technique used by total sampling. This study is a descriptive, overview of women characteristics giving birth to low birth weight in the General Hospital of the City of Bekasi.Based on the results obtained fromBekasi City Hospital in 2012, 196 maternal LBW are divided into severalcategories, the highest LBW 1500-2500gram 168 newborns (85.7%), the incidence of maternal LBW mothers byage group, the highest frequency of 20-35 year-old mother, maternal 156 (79.6%), the incidence of maternalwith LBW based on parity, the highest frequency with parity multiparous mothers as many as 108 women givingbirth (55.8%), the incidence of maternal LBW pregnant by double as many as 42 newborns (21.4%), theincidence of birth mothers with LBW by Age Pregnancy , the highest frequency of 37-42 weeks gestational age of100 people (51%). Base on the resultfrom several variables. Agevariable, parity, double pregnant andgestational age had a gap between theory and research, while the LBW incidence wasin accordance with theoryand research. The researchers suggestedBekasi City Hospital toimprove maternal health services in LBW as areferral hospital which could reduce LBW in West Java. Keywords: mother maternity, LBW, age, parity, pregnant ganda, age pregnancy.
