Abstract

Political communication has a very important role for political actors. Various approaches to political communication can be carried out, one of which is through empathetic and homophile communication. This study aims to explore how Ganjar Pranowo implements this empathetic and homophile communication. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through literature searches, media and social media. The research results show that Ganjar Pranowo, through his empathetic and homophile communication, has succeeded in building voter loyalty. He managed to present himself as a leader who is like ordinary people.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the voting behavior of Batam Students in the legislative elections based on voting behavior models and types. The study used qualitative research with a focus group discussion technique. The result showed that students at University are few interested in political practices and issues. The voting behavior of students is categorized as rational, critical, traditional, and pragmatism. The study found that students voted the candidate who gave them money without considering the track record, achievement, and background of the candidate.

Abstract

The Government’s program, namely Indonesia Spice Up The World is one of the Indonesia government’s effort to improve Indoneia culinary and spices which has been planned since June 2020 with an implementation target starting in 2021-2024. With the aim introducing Indonesian spices and culinary delights to the world community as an effort to increase local spice exports and increase the diaspora of Indonesia restaurants. This study aims to analyze and provide information related to the importance of the Goverment’s program, namely Indonesia Spice Up The World which is expected to be a forum for introducing spice products and expanding Indonesia restaurants. This study used a qualitative mrthod with descriptive analysis research type by processing data that originates from library research. The approach in this study uses nation branding by looking at Indonesia Spice Up The World as a program to support the Indonesia Government efforts. The research result obtained are in line with the four pillars in the Indonesia Spice Up The World program whose development does not solely use culinary delights, but is suppoerted by spicesm Indonesia restaurant, processes spice products and culinary destinations. The Indonesia government then became a competition for more coorperation with importers of spices, boosting the local culinary industry and boosting local and global sectors so that Indonesia’s condiments would be able to consistenly attend international markets.

Abstract

The existence of philanthropic activities in the State of Indonesia provides a very positive role for the people of Indonesia with the assistance either in the field or philanthropic institutions or organizations that involve philanthropy. Philanthropy itself is the application of one's generosity to one another, where this activity is not based on demands from the state or government but is a form of love between people. In this article, we want to touch on how the form of channeling Islamic philanthropy in the welfare of the people around the Al Munawar Tulungagung mosque, how Islamic philanthropy can make the surrounding community feel good and have a positive impact on people who earn more. Islamic philanthropy here is focused on improving the welfare of the surrounding community in one of the ways that is carried out, namely channeling Islamic philanthropic funds in zakat, infaq, alms, endowments and also in helping poor surrounding communities. In this paper using qualitative research methods which will make it easier to obtain complete data on how to distribute Islamic philanthropy in the welfare of society, which in this study has literary sources from literature studies. In this Islamic philanthropy review the distribution of funds to the surrounding community in the welfare of the community, both channeling funds directly or through mosque intermediaries.

Abstract

Education is an important aspect of people's life development and contributes to improving their quality of life. Education is very important as it is the basis for developing a constructive and creative mindset. The 1945 Constitution obliges the government to undertake and organize a national character education system to strengthen faith in and devotion to Almighty God and to educate the lives of its citizens. Indonesia is an educated country, but the current Indonesian education situation is still inconsistent. This has become one of the educational problems in Indonesia as education is still not evenly distributed. Governments therefore need to reflect on the importance of educational equity. This is especially true in poor and remote communities in Indonesia.

Abstract

The aims of this research are: to know and to analyze the application of administrative governance of Karya Indah Village, Buntulia District, Pohuwato Regency. The method in this study is descriptive analysis, with a quantitative approach which aims to provide an overview or explanation of the Implementation of Village Administrative Governance at the Karya Indah Village Office, Buntulia District, Pohuwato Regency. In this case, the population is all village apparatus of Karya Indah consisting of village secretaries, heads of affairs, hamlet heads, totaling 13 people and BPD Desa Karya Indah members, totaling 7 people. So that the population in this study amounted to 20 people. While the sampling in this study used saturated sampling because seeing a population of less than 100, all members of the population were sampled. Thus, the number of samples in this study were 20 respondents. The results of the study show that the application of village administrative governance, in Karya Indah village, seen from the policy dimension, has been going well, this is evidenced by the knowledge of the apparatus that administrative governance policies originate from Permendagri No. 47 of 2016, besides administrative governance it is very important that its implementation is also very supported by office facilities and infrastructure. The implementation of village administrative governance, in Karya Indah village, seen from the directing dimension, has been going well. This is evidenced by the explanation of technical guidelines, apparatus also has skills because they have adequate education, apparatus is easy to obtain information and also understands the authority and duties of each. The implementation of village administrative governance, in Karya Indah village, seen from the control dimension, has also been going well. This is evidenced in addition to getting the support of adequate facilities or infrastructure, the application of administrative governance in this working village also receives financial support, and the application of administrative governance has been carried out through computerization.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the political participation of first-time voters in the 2019 elections in Botubilotahu Village, Marisa District, Pohuwato Regency. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive analysis method. The data in this study were obtained from interviews with 10 first-time voters in Botubilotahu Village, Marisa District. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using three paths of data analysis developed by Miles and Huberman. The results of this study indicate that the political participation of young voters in Botubilotahu Village, Marisa District has increased. Forms of political activity carried out by first-time voters in Botubilotahu Village, Marisa District were in the form of voting, campaigns, members of democracy volunteers, and demonstrations. Based on their liveliness and activities, they can be categorized into types of Spector political participation, Gladiator political participation, and Critical political participation. In this study, it was also found that factors influencing the political participation of first-time voters were information disclosure or political stimulus, social characteristics, the political system in the area of residence, and regional differences.

Abstract

Elections as a form of implementation of the existing democratic system in our country, this is clearly stated in the 1945 Constitution paragraph 1 Article 2 which reads sovereignty is in the hands of the people and is carried out according to the Basic Law. Money politics is interpreted as a simple economic exchange, can be interpreted in different contexts in each different culture depending on how the community views This research aims to describe how the phenomena of massive money politics practice occur in Banten Province in every election event and the factors that cause money politics to still be carried out and what efforts have been made by Bawaslu in dealing with the practice of money politics. The method used is the study of literature from various journals that are in accordance with the research focus as well as research-related books and articles from various existing websites.

Abstract

This paper aims to understand simulacra, hyperreality and symbolic diffusion of social media content presented by fashion influencers on the Instagram fashion influencer @farhanabodi account through case studies of social media content. Social media influencers are ideal role models for consumer society in the digital era. Manufacturers manipulate the utility of a product by creating advertisements or campaigns that use social media influencers to display images related to the product. Jean Baudrillard, French philosopher and postmodern cultural theorist, reads social phenomena under the influence of a new era of digital products, which he calls consumer society. Based on Baudrillard's thoughts on media and technology criticism and human behavior, there are two problems in studying fashion influencer social media content, namely first, what is the form of simulacrum, hyperreality in fashion influencer content and second, what effect does it have on followers' consumption behavior? This study leads to an investigation that the social media content of fashion influencers varies from the form of a simulacrum mechanism to the emergence of "Origin Reality Obfuscation" hyperreality, which affects the consumptive behavior of their followers. They are also found to impersonate characters, thereby creating a "virtual" pseudo-identity, causing an identity crisis in which the real identity is just a romantic past story, there is only a false identity, and everything is just the character it relates to. another character.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide information related to identity politics not only occurs at the election and election level but also occurs in the nagari wali election or abbreviated as PILWANA in Nagari Silantai Tahun 2019. Italso aims to discuss the main forms of identity politics of candidates or political elites. a way to gain power in a position. Therefore, the study revealed tribal emblems, regional identities (jorong) using the community tokoh network and the winning team that had the same place of birth and raised in the election of wali nagari.
