Abstract

A company needs communication between companies with other companies and communication with its customers so that there is harmony and harmony and in order to create a good interaction for superiors, subordinates and customers, every company needs Public Relations which can mediate between the company and the consumers. One of the reasons for the existence and need for PR in a company is the presence of competitors and high innovation, one of which is in the automotive world. It is these competitors who make the presence of PR very necessary in fostering quality communication, both internally and externally. Of course the presence of PR must also provide fresh air for the company, not just communicating and establishing relationships, but how are the PR efforts and strategies in carrying out their functions. Providing excellent service and promotion is part of PR in communication. Competitors such as Toyota, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Honda, Kia, Mercy, Suzuki, and other automotive companies are of course increasingly paying attention to customer service, making people smarter in choosing vehicle brands (trade). This is the background of the existence of PR is very necessary in a company. One, the external function of PR is to create good excellent service, increase customer satisfaction, foster a sense of loyalty to return to buy products and enjoy the services provided and of course customers who are loyal to our products, will promote to those closest to them that the company's products and services better quality than other automotive companies. PT. Indomobil Trada Nasional (NISSAN) is present in the midst of society to accompany and serve consumers.

Abstract

Communication activities within the organization also support the process of employee synergy. In the organizational communication order, communication patterns are used to achieve the same organizational communication goals, from what has been mutually agreed upon. Internal communication is a communication process that runs for each individual, determining the quality of performance for the individual within it.

Abstract

The detailed spatial planning policy formulation and zoning regulations in the city of Yogyakarta are in accordance with the policy formulation process. In the implementation process, there are several stages, namely: First, policy formulation is a process to understand problems or assumptions, diagnose causes, map goals and unify different views, the two policy agendas are a process after policy formulation with policy making that has entered In the policy agenda process, the three choices of alternative policies to solve a problem are to solve a problem, the fourth policy setting is a process to establish policies or endorsements so that there is a binding legal force. The factors that influence are (1) Political factors (2) Economic (financial) factors (3) Administrative factors (Organizational) (4) Technological factors (5) Social and cultural factors (6) Defense and security factors. In the policy formulation process for Detailed Spatial Planning and Zoning Regulations in the City of Yogyakarta, cooperation with various related parties, such as from the private sector, spatial planning experts, academics, and other involved parties, is necessary. In addition, in the implementation process, there must be socialization to the community, a form of socialization such as deliberation (two-way communication), so that there is no friction against the community or related parties. Furthermore, in explaining the zoning regulations, it must be in accordance with the designated zone and pay attention to several aspects such as accuracy, land suitability, and other supporting aspects.

Abstract

Minority groups tend to be prejudiced by other groups, including Chinese Indonesian. Chinese Indonesians have massive power in Indonesia's economy and hence are considered a threat to occupation and housing opportunities. This study aims to understand realistic threats that would predict prejudice toward Chinese Indonesian. A quantitative method with a cross-sectional survey was conducted for data collection. Sample criteria include 18 years above and belonging to several ethnicities, Javanese, Sundanese, Maduranese, Bugis, Minangkabau, Malayan, and Batavian. Two hundred forty-one respondents participated in this study. This study found realistic threat predicted prejudice toward Chinese Indonesian. Realistic threat explains 18% prejudice toward Chinese Indonesian. Practical and theoretical implications were discussed further.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the perceptions and views of the community regarding the performance of the village head in the village of botubilotahu, sub-district of marisa, district of pohuwato. The method in this research is descriptive with a qualitative approach to make descriptive, descriptions or paintings in a systematic, factual and accurate way about facts, characteristics in relation to phenomenal relationships that are the focus of research. The results showed that based on the results of research and findings in the field related to public perceptions of the performance of the village head of botubilotahu as measured through the quality dimension, it can be concluded that from the four questions in the indicator, the average perception of respondents was GOOD based on the calculation of the respondent's answer interval scale. Based on the results of research from the responses and perceptions of the community about the performance of the village head of botubilotahu which is presented through the frequency table above which is correlated with the findings of the researchers in the field, then overall that the quantity indicator, it can be concluded from the three questions in the indicator that the average perception is LESS GOOD from respondents based on the calculation of the respondent's answer interval scale. Based on the results of research from the responses and perceptions of the community about the performance of the village head of botubilotahu which is presented through the frequency table above which is correlated with the findings of the researchers in the field, relating to indicators of the implementation of the village head's duties, it can be concluded from the three questions in the indicator that the average perception is LESS GOOD of respondents based on the calculation of the respondent's answer interval scale. Based on the results of research from the responses and perceptions of the community about the performance of the village head of botubilotahu which is presented through the frequency table above which is correlated with the findings of researchers in the field, relating to the Responsibility indicator, it can be concluded from the three questions in the indicator that on average they get a GOOD perception from respondents based on calculation of the respondent's answer interval scale.

Abstract

As a company active in the field of oil fuel distribution, PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Fuel Terminal Tenau has implemented the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, namely the conservation of coral reefs in the area of Tanjung Kupang, Kelurahan Alak through the Kelompok Anana Laut, under the name of Lembu Lestari. The programme is important to note, because it is unique in its multi-stakeholder cohesion that has played an active and collaborative role in the success of the programme, given that in 2021, Tropical Cyclone Seroja destroyed 90% of the coral reefs in Tanjung Kupang and its surroundings, causing damage to the biodiversity that lives in the area. The research uses qualitative-descriptive methods combined with CSR implementation theory and multi-stakeholder collaboration. The research data is obtained through two stages, observation and focus group discussion. The results of the research showed that the role of multi stakeholders involved in the Lembu Lestari program carried out by PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Fuel Terminal Tenau understood the important role of stakeholder in supporting the company's operations, which is also correlated with the Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD), by managing the relationship with the stakeholder, the company also refers to the established principles of governance. Nevertheless, this activity also has its own challenges, namely, how to pursue consistency of stakeholder engagement, as well as identify the next steps to ensure that the Lembu Lestari program is sustainable.

Abstract

This research analyzing the conflict that occurred between the government and the residents of Rempang Island from the perspective of a growth machine in urban politics. PT MEG and Xinyi Group as investors together with representatives of the Central Government and BP Batam will be seen as a pro-growth coalition group in conflict with the residents of Rempang Island as an anti-growth coalition group. This research uses qualitative methods by analyzing secondary data in the form of literature studies and articles regarding the Rempang conflict from various mass media reports. This conflict was not handled well by the pro-growth coalition which did not carry out growth management and instead ignored the interests of the anti-growth coalition.

Abstract

Implementation of the GEMILANG Program in Improving the Quality of Public Services at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Lamongan Regency. Thesis Government Studies Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Darul Ulum Islamic University Lamongan. This study examines the implementation of the GEMILANG Program in improving the quality of public services at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Lamongan Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of the quality of pubic services at the population and civil registration office of Lamongan district, namely through the GEMILANG program. The type of research used is qualitative with a descriptive approach, namely by describing the research results and analyzing them so that the results are obtained and then concluding them. This research uses data sources derived from scientific journals, book literature, official websites. In this study, researchers used data collection methods with interviews, observations, document archives, and documentation to see the results of research and discussion. The results showed that the GEMILANG Program services can be said to be in accordance with the criteria of Edward George III's theory, namely communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. Thus obtaining the result that the GEMILANG Program services carried out by the Population and Civil Registration Office of Lamongan Regency are quite effective, the implementation is beneficial for the community and the organization and the GEMILANG program will be carried out continuously.

Abstract

The House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia (DPR RI) plays a vital role and significant contribution in the areas of legislation, budgeting, and oversight. This institution is known as the "house of the people" as it serves as a place for representatives to channel the aspirations of the public. However, various recent data indicates that the image of this representative institution tends to be negative. DPR RI often receives unfavorable media coverage, ranging from performance issues to problems such as members' absence from sessions. There is a significant challenge for this institution to convince the public to have a high and dominant perception of it in a positive light. The Parliament News Bureau holds the role of public relations, being at the forefront of providing information and disseminating positive news about DPR RI's performance. This research focuses on the strategies employed by the Parliament News Bureau in handling negative news about the DPR RI in the mass media. The study is a qualitative research with descriptive analysis. Data is gathered from in-depth interviews with the Head of the Parliament News Bureau, documents, and literature studies. The results of this research show that the Parliament News Bureau focuses on generating positive news and disseminating it through various mass media channels and digital platforms such as television, radio, and social media. Additionally, the Parliament News Bureau continuously monitors the mass media to stay updated on news related to the institution and its members.

Abstract

Transparency and integrity are two important principles that must be upheld in the implementation of general elections. Cases of fraud that occurred in the 2019 elections such as the practice of money politics in the form of distributing money and goods (cooking oil, rice, sugar, headscarves), distributing umroh coupons such as the case that ensnared Mandala Shoji (DPR-RI candidate from PAN) and Lucky Andriani (DKI DPRD candidate from PAN). The case of voting more than once was carried out by Ridwan Benseh as an KPPS member at TPS 08 Paru Village, Bandar Baru District, Pidie Jaya Regency. Transparency and integrity is one way to prevent fraud and manipulation from occurring in general elections. The research method in this article is to use qualitative methods, qualitative methods are defined as social science research methods that collect and analyze data in the form of words. Efforts made to prevent fraud and manipulation in general elections improve the quality of election management institutions, participatory supervision of the community, the use of information technology to increase transparency.
