Abstract

In the context of Android-based sales applications, these two features can be integrated to provide added value and greater competitiveness in the digital era. The aim of this research is to design a strategy to increase online sales through designing a sales application equipped with Android-based promotions and cashback at CV Abang Putra Grosir. This research uses the Scrum method to develop the required applications including the stages of problem identification, data collection, program design using UML, system building, system testing, as well as results and conclusions. The research object used was the Abang Putra Jaya retail and wholesale store. The research results state that the new application-based system is much more efficient than the old system. Older systems, such as recording sales transactions in books or spreadsheets, are prone to human error, very time-consuming and often take a long time, especially searching for previously recorded data or reports. In terms of effectiveness, the new system is also better than the old system. Manual systems, which rely on physical record keeping or use spreadsheets, are prone to human error in data input, which can impact the quality of reports and decisions made. In contrast, the new system records transactions automatically and in an integrated manner, which reduces the risk of errors and increases data accuracy.

Abstract

In era of highly dynamic information system. The use of computers has become the primary tool for data management, which is now a crucial necessity. Budi Luhur Store is a retail business that sells various necessities such as groceries, personal hygiene products, and household items. Currently, the sales system at Budi Luhur Store is still manual system, using book for record-keeping. The recorded inventory levels often do not match the actual stock sold, making it difficult to determine total payment and income, which can lead to errors. Payments are only made through conventional transactions. The main objective of this research is to implement a web-based sales information system integrated with online payment at Budi Luhur Store, which can be utilized by both the store owner and customer. Extreme Programming (XP) is one of the well-known processes within the Agile methodology. The result of the research conducted by the author indicate that implementing an automated web-based system accessible across various devices has been successful. Multiple online payment methods are available, making it easier for customers to complete transactions.  The conclusion is that the implementation of a web-based sales information system at Budi Luhur Store has provided easiness in business operations. The integration of online payment methods has also enhanced transaction convenience for customers.

Abstract

The Rufei modern market in Sorong City was built to accommodate street vendors but still faces challenges such as low customer traffic and inadequate infrastructure. One affected trader is Kios Rizki, which struggles to maximize profits. To address this issue, the Simplex method is applied as a linear programming approach to find the optimal solution for profit maximization. This method enables iterative calculations to determine the best combination of decision variables. Additionally, POM-QM for Windows, a technology-based software, is used to enhance calculation accuracy and efficiency. The integration of quantitative methods with computational tools demonstrates how technology improves business decision-making. The results of manual calculations using the Simplex method and POM-QM for Windows show that Kios Rizki’s optimal profit is Rp 1,000,000 (one million rupiahs). Thus, implementing the Simplex method with information technology provides a strategic solution for increasing profitability in modern markets and highlights the role of technology in optimizing small businesses.

Abstract

This research aims to design and develop an e-commerce application using the Flutter framework and Dart programming language, targeted at empowering SMEs under the guidance of Rumah BUMN Bandar Lampung. The methodology employed is the Waterfall model, allowing for systematic and structured application development. The research results indicate that this application can add products, manage stock, process transactions, and facilitate consumer access, ultimately enhancing the operational efficiency of the SMEs' sales system. Application testing showed satisfactory results with performance meeting expectations. The study recommends the development of additional features such as sales analytics, user interface optimization, and enhanced application security.

Abstract

This study aims to design and implement a web-based ordering system for Aqiqah Rahayu Batam to improve order management and service quality. The system was developed using the Scrum methodology, allowing iterative and adaptive development through stages such as Sprint Planning and Daily Scrum. Using a development research approach, the system replaced manual ordering with an online platform that enables customers to place orders anytime and allows administrators to manage transactions in real-time. Key features like automated data recording, a user-friendly interface, and structured transaction handling met user needs effectively. User Acceptance Testing (UAT) confirmed that the system met functional requirements and ran smoothly, offering useful feedback for improvement. Overall, the system enhanced efficiency, reduced errors, and supported better service delivery

Abstract

Digestive disorders in children are a serios health issue globally, with diarrhea being a leading cause of mortality among toddlers. In Batam City, the hitgh incidence of acute diarrhea and other digestive disorders in children underscores the urgency for better management. Contributing factors include immature immune systems, unhealthy eating patterns, poor sanitation, low parental understanding of Clean and Healthy Living Behavior, and limited access to medical information and facilities. This problem is futher exacerbated by overlapping symptoms of digestive disorders, making early diagnosis difficult. To address these challenges, this research aims to design and build a web-based expert system application capable of detecting digestive disorders in children. The system implements a Rule-Based Reasing method with a Forward Chaining algorithm, which logically matches user-inputted symptoms against rules in tis knowledge base to generate a rapid initial diagnosis. This application focuses on three main indicators of degetive disorders : Diarrhea, Constipation, and GERD, for children aged 5 months to 12 years. Thus, this expert system is expected to be an interactive tool that enhances parental understanding, facititates early diagnosis of digestive disorders in children, and serves ad a reference for healthcare professionals and the development of health information systems.

Abstract

Learning to read the Qur’an is a fundamental component of early Islamic education, with the Iqro’ method being one of the most widely used approaches in Indonesia. However, traditional implementations often lack interactivity and engagement, which can reduce their appeal to young learners. In response to this challenge and the increasing digital exposure among children, this study aims to develop an educational game application using Construct 2 as a supplementary medium for teaching Iqro’ reading skills to first-grade students at SD IT Al-Jauharotunnaqiyah Ciajeng. The application presents material from Iqro’ Volume 1 in an interactive format, incorporating audio pronunciation, multiple-choice quizzes, writing simulations, and immediate visual and auditory feedback. The implementation results indicate that the application fulfills both functional and non-functional requirements. Furthermore, black-box testing confirms that all features perform as intended. This application is considered a suitable and engaging tool to support early Qur’anic literacy and has the potential to redirect children’s screen time toward educational and spiritually enriching activities.

Abstract

The issue of waste accumulation has become a critical environmental concern that requires early educational intervention. Conventional waste education methods in elementary schools are often ineffective in fostering students' awareness and behavioral change. This study aims to design and develop an interactive educational game using Construct 2 and the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) framework to enhance elementary students’ understanding of waste types, including organic, inorganic, and hazardous (B3) waste. The game, titled "Saving the Earth from Waste", adopts an educational adventure genre, integrating storyline, challenges, and reward systems to provide an engaging and meaningful learning experience. Validation results from teachers and parents indicated positive responses regarding the game’s interface, navigation, and educational content. The game is distributed in .apk format for easy access and installation and is considered suitable as a learning media for environmental education at the elementary level. The main contribution of this research is the provision of an effective, interactive, and contextual adventure-based educational game to support environmental education for young learners

Abstract

The selection process for outstanding students at SMK TI Bali Global Singaraja faces objectivity challenges, particularly when assessing candidates with seemingly equal qualifications. This study aims to mitigate subjectivity and enhance transparency by designing and implementing a web-based Decision Support System (DSS). The system was developed using the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) framework and integrates a hybrid Multi-Criteria Decision-Making (MCDM) model. The Pivot Pair-wise Relative Criteria Importance Assessment (PIPRECIA) method was applied to determine the weights of seven evaluation criteria, while the Measurement of Alternatives and Ranking according to Compromise Solution (MARCOS) method was used to rank student candidates. The results show that the DSS was successfully implemented, as validated by black-box testing with a 100% success rate. Furthermore, a usability evaluation using the System Usability Scale (SUS) yielded an average score of 75, indicating good user acceptance. This research concludes that the integrated PIPRECIA-MARCOS model provides a structured and accountable framework for decision-making. The novelty of this study lies in the application of this specific hybrid method to the student selection process, offering a robust solution that minimizes bias and increases the integrity of the evaluation

Abstract

PT. Dian Fajar Cahaya Gemilang is a company engaged in the sale of medical equipment. To improve the quality of service to consumers, the company is required to be able to overcome problems that often arise, including changes in order requests for certain products so that the company cannot provide product stock quickly and accurately. Lack of stock in a company will have a very negative impact on the success and smoothness of sales and purchase transactions. This can be caused by customer sales patterns that are always changing and cannot be predicted. This study implements data mining using the apriori algorithm stage to find valuable information in the form of purchasing patterns by customers by utilizing the large amount of sales transaction data so that the company can prepare stock quickly and accurately to prevent accumulation and lack of product storage that will later result in losses
