Abstract

Implementation of character education in learning, especially in schools or higher education institutions can be done by exploring the values of learning itself. Education toward the formation of character to the learners is the responsibility of all educators. The guidance should be done by all subject teachers and all lecturers, not only charged to teachers or lecturers of certain subjects who do have a dominant portion in character education. One course that may be considered to have very little portion in character education learning is a course that studies programming languages or computer programming. However, when viewed from the objectives and learning process, then this course has many values or learning norms that can be developed as a character education education. This study aims to explore norms or values of characters contained in computer programming learning that can be implemented in everyday life. Some of the character values that can be implemented from computer programming learning include: problem-solving skills, systematic thinking, logical thinking, meticulous detail and creativity through project-based learning, cooperative and discussion methods.

Abstract

As we know, times have entered the era of globalization. That opens all the doors and windows of our insights without just going through books, but also through other media. The use of ICT in this era can also improve the quality of education, namely by opening wide access to the access to science and the provision of quality education. With the existence of ICT, the teacher can utilize various supporting facilities that facilitate him in delivering material in the learning process. But in reality there are still many problems that must be corrected in an effort to use ICT in learning such as there are still many teachers and principals who have not been technologically literate, the extent of the Indonesian state so that there are still many areas that have not been touched by electricity especially the internet and the high cost of these ICT tools.

Abstract

Abstract— Society 5.0 (Sosiety 5.0) is a concept that arises when many people are warmly discussing the discourse of Industry 4.0 with all its implications in various fields, including education. The Community Concept 5.0 first appeared in Japan in 2016 and has since spread and its basic concepts continue to be shaped. Society 5.0 is based on a variety of pillars, including Industry 4.0 and cybernetics or cybernics. Community Vision 5.0 demands transformation in learning. This paper will explain several aspects of Indonesian language learning in the perspective of "Community Era 5.0", especially in terms of student needs, the role of educators, preparation and organization of teaching materials, patterns of mixing in learningKeywords— student needs, community 5.0, the role of educators, Indonesian language learning, educational transformation. Abstrak— Masyarakat 5.0 (Sosiety 5.0) merupakan suatu konsep yang muncul takkala banyak kalangan sedang hangat mendikusikan diskursus Industri 4.0 dengan segala implikasinya dalam berbagai bidang, termasuk bidang pendidikan. Konsep Masyarakat 5.0 pertama kali muncul di Jepang pada 2016 dan sejak itu menyebar dan konsep dasarnya terus dibentuk. Masyarakat 5.0 didasarkan pada berbagai pilar, termasuk Industri 4.0 dan sibernika atau cybernics. Visi Masyarakat 5.0 menuntut adanya trasformasi dalam pembelajaran. Makalah ini akan menjelaskan beberapa aspek pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia dalam perspektif “Era Masyarakat 5.0”, khususnya ditinjau dari kebutuhan siswa, peran pendidik, penyiapan dan pengorganisasi bahan ajar, pola bauran dalam pembelajaran.Kata Kunci— kebutuhan siswa, masyarakat 5.0, peran pendidik, pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia, transformasi pendidikan.

Abstract

The educational system that has been managed in a bureaucratic and centralized climate is considered one of the causes causing deterioration in the quality and excellence of education in the country. Because bureaucracy always places power as the most decisive factor in the decision-making process. Ironically the principal and the teachers' councils as the one who best understands the reality of education are in a supported place. Though they should be the most role as decision makers in overcoming various daily problems that facing efforts to improve the quality of education. But they are in a position of helplessness and depression with a variety of standardization in the form of operational and technical guidelines. However, with the emergence of regional autonomy, there is also an education reform, in which case policy and decision authority are in school. This is all implemented because education is part of the most important asset to improve the dignity of the nation. School quality improvement management is a transfer of authority and responsibility of education and the community, which the quality improvement process is planned, organized, implemented and self-evaluated by the school in accordance with the school's needs involving all elements associated with the school. One of the parties responsible for the successful improvement of the quality of education in schools is the principal. The progress of a school's retreat depends on the principal because the principal is the key to success in an institution. The principal will be a figure for all the citizens of the school because it is at the forefront and can be measured success. With the enactment of school autonomy, the principal has a significant role in implementing programs already established by the school. Because it is known also, with the school principal kepiafayaan quality will be better. Abstract

The background of this paper begins with the rise of the issue of technological progress that is growing rapidly in all fields including education. Technology has become one of the needs in every level of society including teenagers today. This has emerged to pro and contra. On the onther side, technological development are very helpful and make many things easier for humans to do their daily activities such as online shopping, business affairs, transportation and others. On the other hand, there are various problems that arise due to the influence of technology in various fields, for example in the field of education. Nowaday, the education is faced with a complex problem. There are students’ low motivation of study and low morale. The purpose of this paper is to discuss about 1) Technological developments in daily life, especially Online Games. 2) Effect of technological development (Online Game) on teenagers / students. 3) How to overcome and prevent Online Game addiction among teenagers / students. Through the directed education, adolescents are prepared to become smart and useful communities for the country and nation. Given the importance of education, there have been many efforts made by educators to improve the quality of education in Indonesia. It is because education is a very important investment for every nation to development a better country.

Abstract

The problem in this study was the low mathematics learning outcomes of students at SD Negeri 29 Rimau. The purpose of this study was to improve the mathematics learning outcomes of fourth grade students through the application of demonstration methods. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the stages of each cycle consisting of: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. This data collection uses observation sheets and formative test questions. Data collection techniques were carried out by non-test techniques and test techniques. This study uses data analysis techniques in the form of qualitative data analysis and quantitative data analysis. The results of the study indicate that the application of demonstration methods can improve mathematics learning outcomes. The percentage of student learning outcomes in the first cycle of "Less High" category, in the second cycle becomes "High".

Abstract

Abstract— Information communication and technology is developing rapidly and is used in various fields of human life, including in education. The successful use of information and communication technology for learning needs is influenced by the ability of teachers to use it, the readiness of students to learn with the help of the technology, and the attitude of society and the environment towards the technology. Mobile technology has become a very important tool for human life and has changed the mindset and behavior of humans. The problem is: how can we use mobile-based technology positively, wisely and responsibly, especially in the field of English language learning in both formal and informal environments. Based on that problem. This paper discusses about how should students and teachers used  the mobile technology in both formal and informal environments. So that mobile technology is not used as a communication tool but also as  media  to improve English learning.Keywords— M-learning, Learning media, English Abstrak—Teknologi informasi dan komunikasi berkembang pesat dan dipergunakan diberbagai bidang kehidupan manusia termasuk di bidang pendidikan. Keberhasilan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi untuk keperluan pembelajaran dipengaruhi oleh kemampuan guru menggunakannya, kesiapan siswa belajar dengan bantuan teknologi itu, serta sikap masyarakat dan lingkungan terhadap teknologi tersebut. Pesatnya kemajuan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi sudah merambah kesemua sektor kehidupan  terutama sektor pendidikan.  Teknologi  berbasis mobile sudah menjadi sarana yang sangat penting bagi kehidupan manusia dan telah merubah pola pikir serta peradaban manusia. Permasalahanya adalah: bagaimana kita memanfaatkan teknonolgi berbasis mobile secara positif, bijaksana serta bertanggung jawab, khususnya dalam bidang pembelajaran bahasa inggris baik dalam lingkungan formal maupun informal.Untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut, maka makalah ini membahas mengenai bagaimana seharusnya peserta didik dan tenaga pendidik dalam memanfaatkan teknologi mobile dilingkungan formal maupun informal. Abstract

Research has been conducted to determine the effect of the inquiry learning model on the pictorial riddle type on the understanding of the physics concepts of eighth grade students of Palembang State Junior High School 7. Riddlel pictorial type inquiry is a learning model to develop student motivation and participation from small / large group discussions in the form of images that are used as a source of discussion so that they can find answers to a problem in question. The method used in this study is the method of Quasi Experiment, with the design of the matching only post-test control group design and cluster random sampling retrieval technique divided into two classes, namely class VIII.11 as the experimental class which received learning treatment using the pictorial type inquiry learning model riddle, and class VIII.9 students as control classes who were treated using inquiry learning models. The collection technique uses tests. The analysis technique used in this study is the t-test of the right side. The results of the calculation of data analysis obtained the average value of the experimental class 81 and the mean of the control class 75.16, with a significant level of α = 0.05 obtained ttable ie 1.67 based on the calculation results there is a significant influence of the pictorial riddle type learning model towards understanding the physics concept of eighth grade students of Palembang State Junior High School 7.

Abstract

Abstract— The Industrial Revolution 5.0 has brought changes in various aspects of human life. Among these is the education system. The question is, what components of education are affected, and how to respond to these implications? This paper aims to explain the changes that must be made in schools so that human resources produced by various educational institutions can compete and contribute globally. Through literature review and content analysis, the discussion shows that current and future curriculum development must complement students' abilities in the academic dimension, life skills, live together, and think critically and creatively. Other invisible skills like interpersonal skills, global-minded citizens, and literacy of the media and information available. The curriculum must also be able to shape students with an emphasis on the STEM field, referring to ICT-based learning, the internet of things, big data and computers, as well as entrepreneurship and internships. The competencies that must be possessed by teachers are educational competence, competence for technological commercialization, competence in globalization, competence in future strategies, and competence counselor. In addition to these competencies, teachers also need to have a friendly attitude with technology, collaboration, be creative and take risks, have a good sense of humor, and teach holistically. Schools and teachers must consider the open learning platform in deciding how to organizing education and learning             Keywords— Education 5.0, Industry 5.0, Blended learning, Teacher competence, Century skill Abstrak— Makalah ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan perubahan yang harus dilakukan di sekolah sehingga sumber daya manusia yang dihasilkan oleh berbagai lembaga pendidikan dapat bersaing dan berkontribusi secara global. Melalui kajian literatur dan analisis isi, penulis menjelaskan bahwa pengembangan kurikulum saat ini dan di masa depan harus melengkapi kemampuan siswa dalam dimensi akademik, keterampilan hidup, kemampuan untuk hidup bersama dan berpikir secara kritis dan kreatif. Keterampilan tak kasat mata seperti keterampilan interpersonal, berpikir global, dan literasi media dan informasi. Kurikulum juga harus dapat membentuk siswa dengan penekanan pada bidang STEM, merujuk pada pembelajaran berbasis TIK, internet of things, big data dan komputer, serta kewirausahaan dan magang. Selain guru memiliki kompetensi mengajar dan mendidik, literasi media, competence in globalization, competence in future strategies, dan konseling, juga perlu memiliki sikap ramah teknologi, kolaborasi, menjadi kreatif dan mengambil risiko, memiliki selera humor yang baik, serta mengajar secara holistik. Sekolah dan guru perlu mempertimbangkan pembelajaran terbuka dan daring dalam memutuskan bagaimana menyelenggarakan pendidikan dan pembelajaran.   Kata Kunci— Pendidikan 5.0, Industri 5.0, Kompetensi guru, Pembelajaran, Kemampuan Siswa
