Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology has penetrated all sectors of life, especially the education sector. its development is even  more rapid than originally estimated. We still remember, a few years ago computers and even cellphones were still expensive and only certain people could afford them. Today, people  from various levels of social economic status use the technology.  In fact, many people cannot escape fromthe technology in their daily lives, especially mobile-based technology. Mobile technology has become a very important tool for human life and has changed the mindset and behavior of humans. The problem is: how can we use mobile-based technology positively, wisely and responsibly, especially in the field of English language learning in both formal and informal environments. Based on that problem. This paper discusses about how should students and teachers used  the mobile technology in both formal and informal environments. So that mobile technology is not used as a communication tool but also as  media  to improve English learning.

Abstract

This journal describes efforts to improve student learning achievement in lessons through motivation. This study uses a test method and classroom action observation. Data analysis using descriptive analysis. The research subject was a class VI student at SD Rejeki Elementary School. The success obtained during this third cycle is as follows, the activities of students in PBM are very active due to the giving of learning motivation. And the average student's daily test score (evaluation) increased from 5.79 before the action (T0) to 6,097 cycle one (T1), 7,33 Cycle two (T2), and 8,097 cycle three (T3). Thus, it has been proven that the learning approach with the provision of learning motivation can improve the PBM process and student learning achievement.

Abstract

Abstract— This study aims to determine the use of language in children aged four years in the family environment on the road Prince Ratu Perum Atlet Type 100 Block A3 No.04 Rt.062 Rw.17 Jakabaring, Palembang. The method used in this research is descriptive method. Data analysis technique used in this research is observation. The author observes directly the child who was a study sample for nearly eight weeks. The sample data used in this research is Nayla Syaurah Nafisah. The results of the data obtained can show that there are variations of language that children use to the family environment because the father came from Central Java and Palembang mother. For example, the father asked "Mbak already eat yet son?" The child replied "It's the father of mbak eat soup poyoh samo tofu". Can be seen from the sentence that in the sentence Already the father is the Indonesian language, mbak ate is the Java language and sop telok poyoh samo know is the language of Palembang Keywords— Language usage, sociolinguistics, child research  Abstrak— Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan bahasa pada anak usia empat tahun di lingkungan keluarga di jalan Pangeran Ratu Perum Atlit Type 100 Blok A3 No.04 Rt.062 Rw.17 Jakabaring, Palembang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi. Penulis mengamati secara langsung anak yang menjadi sampel penelitian selama hampir delapan Minggu. Sampel data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Nayla Syaurah Nafisah. Hasil data yang diperoleh dapat menunjukkan bahwa terdapat variasi bahasa yang digunakan anak terhadap lingkungan keluarga karena ayah berasal dari Jawa Tengah dan ibu Palembang. Misalnya seperti ayah menanyakan” Mbak sudah makan belum nak?” anak menjawab “Sudah ayah mbak tadi makan sop telok poyoh samo tahu”. Dapat dilihat dari kalimat itu bahwa pada kalimat Sudah ayah merupakan bahasa Indonesia, mbak tadi makan merupakan bahasa Jawa dan sop telok poyoh samo tahu merupakan bahasa Palembang. Kata Kunci— Penggunaan Bahasa, sosiolinguistik, penelitian anak

Abstract

Abstract— This research begins with conditions that indicate the low quality of education that is very worrying, even at the level of Southeast Asia we occupy the lowest position. The main problems of national education that need to be prioritized are four kinds of problems, namely the problem of educational equity, the problem of education quality, the problem of educational efficiency, and the problem of educational relevance (Hartono, 2011). Improving the quality of education through quality supervision is the process of overseeing efforts to improve the quality of education units by LPMP together with school supervisors. The purpose of quality supervision for schools are to improve the quality of their education through the implementation of an internal quality assurance system (SPMI), the implementation of PPK, literacy, and the implementation of the 2013 curriculum towards the realization of quality culture schools. This research was conducted at SDN 3 Air Salek with a descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques in the form of documentation observation and interviews. The results showed the role of school supervisors as well as being a supervisor also carried out mentoring activities in improving quality in schools.Keywords— Improving the quality, The role of school supervisors, SDN 3 Air SalekAbstrak— Penelitian ini berawal dari kondisi yang menunjukkan rendahnya mutu pendidikan yang sangat mengkhawatirkan, bahkan di tingkat Asia Tenggara kita menempati posisi terendah. Permasalahan pokok pendidikan nasional yang perlu diprioritaskan penanggulangannya ada empat macam, yaitu masalah pemerataan pendidikan, masalah mutu pendidikan, masalah efisiensi pendidikan, dan masalah relevansi pendidikan (Hartono, 2011). Peningkatan mutu pendidikan melalui supervise mutu adalah proses mengawal upaya peningkatan mutu pada satuan pendidikan oleh LPMP bersama pengawas sekolah. Tujuan supervisi mutu adalah agar sekolah meningkat mutu pendidikannya melalui penerapan system penjaminan mutu internal (SPMI), pelaksanaan PPK, literasi, dan pelaksanaan kurikulum 2013 menuju terwujudnya sekolah berbudaya mutu. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN 3 Air Salek dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi dokumentasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peran pengawas sekolah selain sebagai supervisor juga melaksanakan aktifitas pendampingan dalam peningkatan mutu di sekolah.Kata Kunci— peningkatan Mutu, Peran Pengawas Sekolah, SDN 3 Air Salek

Abstract

Character education is an important component to form the learners’ personality especially in the school environment. The objective of character education in the school is to form the learners’ humanity or personal who are a good character, morality, and the spirit of social based on Pancasila values. Because of the reality, there are still many the crisis of the learners’ morality and characters in the school environment or the school outside such as smoking in the school area, fighting among learners, free sex, drug abuse, shameless culture, decency value that is slumped to older people especially parents , teachers and many others. Therefore, it is important to applied character education to the learners in the school so that learners can be attitude and act based on their personality values like a good character, morality and the spirit of social. And to support the realization of the success of implementation character education in the school, it should all elements like all the school residents, family and society to engage in its process.

Abstract

The development of the world of education at this time is certainly not free from the development of information technology which participates in all aspects. One of them is the internet, the internet is a revolution that changes our system of life as a civilized society and seeks to advance the welfare of its life through a continuous education process, and as one of the supporting factors for the advancement of education in Indonesia has positive and negative impacts. The role of the internet on the education system as a service provider of information quickly is used for teachers and students. The most potential benefits of the internet in addition to administrators and interested parties in the environment is to facilitate the collection of school data sheets that can be sent directly to the destination both individuals and the wider community.

Abstract

This paper is the result of a literature review of The Three Tier-Test method in disclosing the physics misconception of the students. Misconception is a condition in which a person has a false or incorrect concept of physics. Misconception in Physics lessons is experienced by many students in school and collages. This misconception is got by students from everyday experiences in the home and school environment because of poor teaching methods. There are various ways to know if a person has misconception or not. Among these are using the CRI (Certainty Response Index) method and the TTT (Three Tier-Test) method. These methods use multilevel questions in which learners should answer the concept correctly and then they have to answer the next level of questions. The TTT method question consists of three levels of questions: core questions (questions that measure conceptual understanding), the reason why choosing the previous answer, and the last question is the level of confidence of learners in answering the test. With this method, the misconceptions of learners will be seen and can be acted upon according to the results obtained.Keyword---  misconception, Three-Tier Test (TTT), physics learning

Abstract

Abstract— Human Resources are productive individuals who work as activators of an organization, both in institutes and companies that have the function as assets, so they must be trained and developed their abilities. Training is an activity to increase the potential or skills in a position or job. Whereas Development is more focused on the long-term general needs of the organization. The objectives of training and development include reducing constraints and efficiency of employees in an agency, and have the benefit of being able to optimize the ability of skills and potential of workers. By doing the right steps starting from checking needs, making concepts, providing participants, conducting training and evaluation as well as follow-up. Abstract

Ethical attitude is the attitude of an educator showing, teaching, and theorizing in accordance with the norms and values of Pancasila. An educator is able to theorize correctly and also be able to run the theory in his life (teaching theory) and (doing theory). Both of these must be in harmony with the profession as an educator to form learners who have high tolerance values in the midst of the plural. Students is a generation of nations that build, improve and promote the nation. So an educator should teach the values of Pancasila so that the nation's generation has an attitude of nationalism by appreciating every difference (religion, race, language, culture) in Indonesia. With the formation of an attitude through education, then pluralism at the national level of course also every action undertaken in it will affect the action in shaping the world peace (global citizenship) in the middle of the world. This distinction must always be addressed properly in order to avoid conflicts and disunity. Abstract

The focus of this study is: (1). The strategy of supervising the school principal to improve the pedagogical competence of teachers at SDN 1 Pulau Rimau, (2). Approach to supervising the principal to improve teacher pedagogical competence at 1 Rimau Island Elementary School. (3). The implication of supervising the principal is to improve the pedagogical competence of teachers at SDN 1 Pulau Rimau. This type of research is qualitative research. The technique used by researchers is collecting data usingobservation, interviews and documentation studies.: (1). The principal's supervisory strategy to improve teacher pedagogical competence through the implementation of effective academic supervision with conceptual (a) skills; (b) interpersonal; and (c) technical. (2). Approach to the principal's supervision to improve the pedagogical competence of the teacher. The approach used (a) Directif Approach; (b) Non directive approach; and (c) Collaborative Application. (3) Implications for schools namely the creation of a conducive school atmosphere. the creation of effective learning by applying interesting learning methods, the implementation of a curriculum that is in and accordance with the standards.
