Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study examined the effect of receivable on profitability in Nigeria manufacturing companies. Panel data analysis components such as random, and fixed effects as well as pooled regression were employed to analyse the data collected from annual reports of selected manufacturing companies in Nigeria. Based on the finding for the reliable analytical tools, it was discovered that Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) increased Profitability significantly. Also credit policy increases profitability positively and significantly indicating that there is a positive effect of credit policy on Profitability. Conversely, other variables which are the control variables such as industry types, economic environment, and company size had negative effect on profitability. Conclusively, receivable has positive impact on profitability in Nigeria manufacturing industries. It is recommended that companies should inversely reduce Days Sales Outstanding periods foe the collection of debts owned by their consumers for effective production utilization so as to ultimately upsurge Nigeria companies’ profitability significantly and tremendously. Also, the credit policy of the companies should be reviewed to be friendlier for the customers so that accommodate more customers for effective increment in patronage and profitability.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of DANA e-wallet’s ease of use on user interest among private university students in Tasikmalaya City. This study employs a quantitative method, using both primary and secondary data. Data collection was conducted through surveys/questionnaires. The population in this study comprises private university students in Tasikmalaya City, totaling 18,173 individuals, with sample selection through probability sampling. The sample size for this study is 100 people. The data analysis techniques used include descriptive analysis and verification analysis (simple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination test, and t-test). The results show that the ease of use of the DANA e-wallet has a positive and significant influence on user interest, with a t-table value of 1.984 < t-count 4.817 and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The contribution of DANA e-wallet’s ease of use to user interest is 19.1%, while the remaining 81.9% is influenced by other variables not included in this study. This means that the higher the ease of use of the DANA e-wallet, the greater the increase in user interest.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to determine the influence of store atmosphere and service quality on consumer purchasing decisions at Allbaik Chicken Sawah Width , Bengkulu City. And to find out which factors most dominantly influence purchasing decisions. This research used quantitative methods on 150 respondents. The population used in this research were consumers in Allbaik Chicken Sawah Lebar , Bengkulu City and sampling in this research used a non-probability sampling technique. Based on the results of multiple linear regression, the regression equation form Y = 9,100 + 0.277 (X1) + 0.506 (X2) is obtained. The research results and hypothesis show that Store Atmosphere and Service Quality have a positive effect on Purchasing Decisions.

Abstract

The European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) aims to reduce the consumption of products entering the European Union that are linked to deforestation and forest degradation. This regulation will directly affect the global supply chain of Indonesian exports to European Union countries for palm oil products and indirectly affect importing countries as Indonesia's trading partners supply the European Union market, especially for forestry products. This could happen due to requests from Indonesian trading partners who sell their products to the European Union who apply EUDR rules. The Indonesian government needs to firmly implement supportive policies to facilitate export activities related to forest products. Apart from that, the Indonesian government must also pay attention to the impact of this regulation on Small and Medium Enterprises which will be affected because they are also importers for companies or large traders.

Abstract

This study aims to identify themes, trends, and networks in the mechanisms that shape the quality of investment decisions in the context of behavioural finance using bibliometric. The results show that good financial literacy can reduce the negative influence of cognitive biases such as heuristics, framing effects, and herd mentality in investment decision-making. In addition, improved financial literacy also plays a role in moderating the effects of behavioural biases on investment decisions, resulting in more rational and profitable decisions. Therefore, financial literacy is an effective strategy to improve the quality of investment decisions by reducing the impact of cognitive biases.

Abstract

This study primarily conducted an in-depth investigation to obtain information about factors that make the young generation purchase smartphones influenced by social media. The analysis focused on the millennial or the 'Me' generation (Gen Y) and the 'True' generation (Gen Z). These two generations represent the present-day dominant youth cohort. This qualitative study utilized the technique of conducting semi-structured interviews for data collection. No differences were found in Gen Z's and Y's smartphone purchasing motivations. The buying decisions of both generations were equally and materially influenced by genuine reviews on social media, especially content in the form of social media live streams such as YouTube and TikTok videos, especially when well-known influencers conveyed pertinent information. The interviews revealed the distinctive features of the two generations studied: they are rational in making purchase decisions and consider both quality and price. Unlike Gen Y, Gen Z   does not like to compare new products against other or previous products because it takes advantage of its proximity to the manufacturing company to obtain adequate information about a product. Practically, it can be a reference for smartphone retailers to better understand youth purchase behavior.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology in the 5.0 era demands innovation to maximize the functions of technology that can be used by humans in various fields, including the banking sector, with one of its products being mobile banking. The emergence of mobile banking has shown positive impacts with numerous benefits for customers. The purpose of this research is to study important factors that can explain customers' intention and behavior in adopting mobile banking by using constructs found in the UTAUT 2 model, then adding personal innovativeness, trust, and security variables as model developments in explaining intention and behavior in adopting BSI mobile banking. The method used is quantitative, where data were collected through online questionnaires (Google Form) distributed to 360 customers who adopted BSI mobile banking services, then analyzed using structural equation modeling techniques (SEM-PLS version 3.0). The results show that the variables of price value, habit, and security have a significant positive influence on behavioral intention. Then, habit, personal innovativeness, and behavioral intention have a significant positive influence on use behavior, while effort expectancy has an influence but a significant negative effect on behavioral intention. The empirical results of this study imply that the proposed model extension has not yet been fully applied, indicating that the adoption rate still needs improvement.
