Abstract

The problem in this study is the declining performance of employees in Kanwil DJP Central Java   I. On the basis of these problems , the formulation of the research problem is : How transactional leadership and job motivation developed in Kanwil DJP Central Java   I was able to create job satisfaction , which in turn has positive effects on employee performance . On this occasion will be investigated whether the employee Kanwil DJP Central Java I keep the spirit to work for the survival of the organization . The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of transactional leadership and work motivation on job satisfaction in influencing employee performance.The research was conducted in the Kanwil DJP Central Java I city of Semarang   , respondents who used as many as 111 employees , using regression analysis and the Sobel test to test mediation.The results are shown as follows : a positive significant effect of transactional leadership on job satisfaction , work motivation has a positive significant effect on job satisfaction , work motivation significantly positive effect on employee performance , job satisfaction has a positive significant effect on employee performance , and transactional leadership significantly positive effect on employee performance . Based on the Sobel test , showedthat job satisfaction is able to mediate the effect of transactional leadership and workmotivation on employee performance DJP Semarang Central Java I always strive to improve the welfare of employees by providing salary and bonuses , allowances Additional Activities, job and life insurance benefits / health .

Abstract

Most of accounting studies had examined the relationship between budget participation and managerial performance. However, the result of previous studies showed that their relationship were not consistent.  To reconcile these conflicting results, it needs to investigate the hypothesized relationship using a contingency approach.This study empirically examined the influence of motivation and delegation of authority as moderating variables on the relationship between budget participation and magerial performance. Mailed quitionnaires were distributed to 1120 managers or head of division/chief officer was high qualified hotels in Bali. The responses from 154 (13, 75 %) managers or head divisio11/chief officer analyzed by using regression analysis with residuai approach  (bivariate test).The results of study showed that budget participation and managerial performance had positive and significant relationship.  The results also showed that a high degree of fit between budget participation and contingent variable motivation influenced the increasing of manag1Jrial performance.  Otherwise, result of study about the influence of a high degreP, of flt between budget participation and contmgent variable delegation of authority showed positive and significant result on the increasing of managerial performance.

Abstract

Since 1990s the good corporate governance (GCG) has becoming a part of critical issues, especially in the publicity held companies. In such condition, there is separation between principals and agent. The agent has opportunities to make decision that allow him to take advantages by principal's cost or agency cost. To minimize agency cost, principals build a control mechanism based on self-regulated and law. Corporate governance is mechanism to govern a company to fulfill shareholders interest. It consists of shareholder's role, board of commissioner's composition and role, board of director's composition and role, control mechanism, and reporting.

Abstract

Kebijakan deregulasi dan debirokratisasi yang sudah  berjalan sejak tahun 1983,  seperti telah kita ketahui bersama,  sesungguhnya ditujukan  untuk meningkatkan efisiensi di dalam perekonomian Indonesia.  Sektor  listrik seyogyanya  tidak terlepas dari kebijakan deregulasi dan debirokratisasi yang serupa. Beberapa langkah kebijakan telah diambil oleh pemerintah  seperti yang dinyatakan oleh Pemimpin PT PLN Distribusi Jateng Bapak Ir Syaiful B Ibrahim,  Msc di harian Wawasan 30 Juni 1998. PT PLNyang jangkauan operasionalnya dari Sabang sampai  Timar Timur akan dipecah-pecah menjadi beberapa bagian berdiri sendiri agar efisien dan lebih kompetitif. Rencana pemecahan PLN ini merupakan bagian dari restrukturisasi PT PLN. PLN distribusi Jawa Tengah nantinya akan berdiri sendiri terlepas dari PLN pusat. Demikian juga PLN distribusi Jatim,  Jabar dan DKI Jaya. Keempat perusahaan listrik di Jawa ini akan bersaing memperebutkan pasar. Masing-masing bebas menetukan tarif listrik karena pemerintah sudah tidak memberikan lagi subsidi bagi konsumen listrik di Jawa.

Abstract

This study examines what structure, culture, and environment of organizational potentially influence to dimensions of managerial entrepreneurship in local government firm. Independent variables used inthis study are hierarchy, formalization, trust, mission, ethics, and legal constrains. These independent variables can increase customer satisfaction, reduce the level of red tape, and promoting the propensity for risk taking.Data of this study were taken from local government (Water Supply) from Kata dan Kabupaten in South Kalimantan. The questionnaires were administered to middle manager and low manager with response rate was 60% (182 out of 300). Data of this study are analyzed with multiple regression analysis to examine the variables hypothesized. The result of this study indicates that hierarchy, formalization, trust, mission, ethics, and legal constrains are statically significant and associated with customer satisfaction. The level of perceived red tape is relatively affected by hierarchy, trust, mission, and ethics. The result implies that risk taking behavior is likely to be affected by hierarchy, trust, and legal constrains. Future research is expected to add other factors that influencemanagerial entrepreneurship dimensions such as centralization and specialization. Then managerial entrepreneurship dimensions can be added such as employees' empowerment and cost efficiency.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of corporate governance’s mechanism to firm value which is proxied by Tobin’s Q. This mechanism is divided into two, internal mechanism which is proxied by board of director and audit committee and external mechanism which is  proxied by institutional ownership. This study is using control variables such as firm size, financial leverage and industrial sector.Sample used in this study are 40 companies which incorporated in several industrial sector in Indonesia which are listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2011-2015. Hypothesis testing in this study is using multiple regression analysis.The result of this study shows that board of director has positive but insignificant effect to firm value in Indonesia, audit committee has positive and significant effect to firm value in Indonesia and institutional ownership has negative but insignificant effect to firm value in Indonesia. The control variables used in this study provide mixed results, where firm size has negative and insignificant effect to firm value, financial leverage has positive and significant effect to firm value and the whole industrial sector in Indonesia has no effect to firm value. From simultaneous test, this study shows that simultaneously independent variables significantly affect to firm value.

Abstract

Untuk menciptakan competitive advantages, Nokia Siemens Networks sebagai perusahaan telekomunikasi banyak membuat kerjasama dengan para partner ataupun supplier. Tetapi pada kenyataannya dari strategi kerjasama yang diterapkan banyak muncul permasalahan, oleh karena itu penelitian ini ditujukan untuk menganalisis pengaruh komitmen hubungan dan kualitas hubungan terhadap kinerja kemampulabaan dalam meningkatkan strategi kerjasama jangka panjang.Sampel penelitian ini adalah sub kontraktor Nokia Siemens Networks, sejumlah 112 responden. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) yang dijalankan dengan perangkat lunak AMOS, digunakan untuk menganalisis data.Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa komitmen hubungan dan kualitas hubungan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja kemampulabaan dan meningkatkan strategi kerjasama jangka panjang. Berdasarkan standardized regression weights dapat diketahui bahwa dimensi menghormati perjanjian merupakan dimensi dari komitmen hubungan yang paling berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan kinerja kemampulabaan dengan nilai estimasi 0,88. Untuk kualitas hubungan dimensi saling memberikan informasi merupakan variabel yang paling berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan integrasi stratejik dengan nilai estimasi 0,84. Sedangkan di dalam kinerja kemampulabaan indikator keuntungan tinggi merupakan dimensi yang paling berpengaruh dari variabel kinerja kemampulabaan dengan nilai estimasi sebesar 0,87. Keterbatasan permodelan penelitian ini berasal dari hasil squared multiple correlation menunjukkan besaran 0,50 untuk kinerja kemampulabaan; dan 0,41 untuk strategi kerjasama jangka panjang. Hal ini menginformasikan kurang optimalnya variabel antiseden dari variabel-variabel endogen tersebut. Besaran yang optimal sebaiknya diatas 0,70. Variabel yang disarankan untuk penelitian mendatang adalah: lingkungan bisnis, posisi produk, posisi persaingan dan lain sebagainya

Abstract

This study examines whether movement in two key macroeconomic variables - level output and inflation - in Indonesia influence the monthly stock returns and volatility.By mainly applying GARCH, TARCH and EGARCH models, this study has demonstrated that time varying and the leverage effect appears to exist in Indonesia's stock returns volatility. At any models, inflation and output level have no effect on stock returns. The result for the variance equation show that only the inflation has significance effect on stock returns volatility.

Abstract

The aims of this research are: first, to investigate the influence of flexibility to UIPJJB- partners cooperation. The second is to investigate the influence of long-term continuity orientation to UIPJJB-partners cooperation. The third is to investigate the influence of communication quality to UIPJJB-partners cooperation. The fourth is to investigate the influence UIPJJB-partners cooperation to PLN project performance.Population of this research is partner companies of UIPJJB PLN. Respondents of 160 are taken with census method. Data are collected with questionnaires using 10 scales. Data are analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling under AMOS 5 program.The result of the data shows that research model has good fit and all the hypotheses can be proved. The conclusions are: flexibility has positive influence to UIPJJB-partners cooperation, long-term continuity orientation has positive influence to UIPJJB-partners cooperation, and communication quality has positive influence to UIPJJB-partners cooperation, and UIPJJB-partners cooperation has positive influence to PLN project performance. Based on the results of the research could be taken theoretical implications that this research gives more justifications for antecedents positively influence UIPJJB- partners cooperation, i.e.: flexibility, long-term continuity orientation, and communication quality. Managerial implications of this research are suggestions to UIPJJB to pay more attention to long-term continuity orientation because this factor is the most dominant factor to build UIPJJB-partners cooperation. Limitation of this research is squared multiple correlation show suboptimal of antecedent variables. Further research need to develop the model with add others antecedent variables.

Abstract

Penerbitan Laporan keuangan tahunan perusahaan  nampaknya memiliki pengaruh yang  kecil  terhadap fluktuasi  harga  saham sebagai  reaksi pasar yang berujud   revisi atau penyesuaian   harga di Pasar.   Penjelasan obyektif  mengenai    keadaan  ini adalah bahwa pemodal    lokal  masih merupakan investor jangka pendek yang kurang memperhatikan   masalah-masalah fundamental  (Kondisi  Internal   perusahaan).Beberapa  ahli  Ekonomi  dan peneliti keuangan   banyak  yang   berminat dan memiliki perhatian terhadap hubungan antara harga saham dan volume perdagangan sebagai hasil kerjasama mekanisme pasar, dan pengaruh informasi baru terhadap volume dan harga. Penelitian ini    mengarahkan perhatian kepada Pengaruh informasi laporan keuangan yang dipublikasikan terhadap fluktuasi  harga  saham pada Pasar Modal Indonesia. Tujuan penelition ini adalah  menjawab berbagai  pertanyaan  berikut  ini: (1). Apakah  ada  perbedaan  harga saham  di Bursa Efek Jakarta   antara sebelum   dan sesudah pemberitaan laporan keuangan pada event laporan keuangan dipublikasikan. (2).  Apakah laporan yang dipublikasikan mempunyai pengaruh   yang signifikan  terhadap perubahan harga saham di Bursa Efek Jakarta pada event laporan keuangan di  publikasikan. Dalam    penelitian   ini    ditemukan bahwa informasi  laporan keuangan tersebut memiliki pengaruh kecil terhadap  jluktuasi   harga  saham di BEJ.  Hal ini didukung  dengan penemuan pertuma bahwa ternyata 23   perusahaan yang  menjadi sampei hanya  60,87%  (14 perusahaan   sampel) menunjukkan adanya perbedaan harga sahamnya antara sebelum  dan sesudah publikasi  atau pemberitaan laporan keuangan. Guna  mendukung dan menganalisa hasil  penemuan  ini,  maka pada makalah ini  akan  dibagi  menjadi 5  bagian.  Bagian pertama akan mengulas  mengenai    beberapa   hasil riset     terakhir tentang harga saham dan latar belakang penelitian.  Bagian kedua mencoba menggambarkan kerangka berpikir.  Bagian  ketiga menggambarkan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, sedangkan bagian keempat mencoba mengembangkan metode penelitian dan hasilnya,  dan bagian terakhir akan dibahas mengenai hasil penelitian dan kemudian disimpulkan.
