Abstract

The research is dedicated to investigate the role of expectation to the a/location of assets, especially to time deposite assets with different maturity. The transmision among time deposite with different maturity is through the interest differential. The equilibrium condition of the allocation of time deposite assets with different maturity is what so called with term structure. Testing the equilibrium condition of term structure means reveals the perfectness of the market, and perfectness of the information. Perfectness of the information on the term structure implies that interest rate is market determined, and agents perfectly learn from the market and formulate their expectation, and in return it influences the market. Important information which is considered by the agents to reformulate their expectation is inflation rate. Agents have long memory on inflation information. Six or seven month information on inflation rate is examined by the agents in order to determine the allocation of their time deposite assets with different maturity.

Abstract

The effectiveness becomes an importance issue in the organization theory because it discusses how an organization can successfully run its strategy. The objective of this article is to conceptually elaborate the effectiveness and its relation to organization strategy. Descriptive analysis on effectiveness covers topics ranging from definition, model, criterion, and measurement problems. Descriptive analysis on strategy discusses the relation strategy with effectiveness, how consistent the organization strategy with its effective implementation. To elaborate strategy topic, article also discusses the evolution of organization and the effectiveness that relate to the strategy and structure. The conclusion shows that organization will become effective if it is supported by strategy, structure and process, this because the effectiveness is an element of structure and process of strategy.

Abstract

Previous  research that  examined environment  as  a moderator  between business strategy performance linkage has mainly focused on large firms. Little reserch exists that investigate this relationship in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This study empirically examines environment as the moderator of the relationship between business strategy and performance of 100 SMEs in the malaysia manufacturing sector. The findings of this study suggest that not onlydoes the prformance of Sme vary with the coice of the business strategy they adopted, but the relationship between business strstegy and the performance of SMEs is moderated by by the environment

Abstract

It is widely known that judgment is an inevitable aspect of living for both individuals and organisations. Judgments involve information acquisition and processing that are required in helping individuals make a decision. Individual's ability to search for and process information will eventually determine the accuracy of judgments and decisions made. Unfortunately, individuals, as human beings, have cognitive limitations in searching for and processing information. As a result, they can make an inaccurate judgment. As Hogarth (1980) argues, although individuals are adaptive, they have limited information processing capacities. This paper discusses cognitive limitations of individuals in obtaining and processing information, the potential impact of the limitations on making decisions, and possibilities to overcome the limitations.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian  ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis  pengaruh kepemilikan manajerial (MNJ), kepemilikan  institusional  (INS),  dan ukuran  perusahaan (SIZE) terhadap  keputusan pendanaan (DER) dan nilai  perusahaan (PBV)  pada perusahaan manufaktur  yang terdaftar  di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2009-2012.  Dengan metode purposive sampling, diperoleh sampel  penelitian  sebanyak 36 perusahaan dari 121 perusahaan manufaktur  yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2009-2012.  Teknik analisis  data  menggunakan   analisis regresi  berganda,  sedangkan untuk melihat  adanya pengaruh  mediasi  dideteksi menggunakan uji sobel.  Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kepemilikan  manajerial berpengaruh negatif signifikan  terhadap debt to equity ratio, ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh positif  signifikan terhadap debt to equity ratio, kepemilikan  manajerial  dan kepemilikan institusional  berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap price to book  value, kepemilikan institusional  berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap price to book value, dan ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh positif  signifikan terhadap price to book  value, debt to equity ratio memediasi  kepemilikan  manajerial  dan ukuran perusahaan terhadap price  to book value.

Abstract

Kehadiran pasar modal di Indonesia ditandai dengan banyaknya investor yang mulai menanamkan sahamnya dalam industri real estate and property. Semakin pesatnya perkembangan sektor property ini diikuti dengan semakin tingginya permintaan akan kebutuhan papan, sehingga membuat para investor property membutuhkan dana dari sumber eksternal. Dana dari sumber eksternal dapat diperoleh melalui pasar modal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh inflasi, nilai tukar, Return On Asset (ROA), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) dan Current Ratio (CR) terhadap Return Saham industri real estate and property yang listed di Bursa Etek Indonesia periode 2003 - 2006.Data diperoleh Statistik Ekonomi dan Keuangan yang diterbitkan Bank Indonesia, ICMD (Indonesian Capital Market Directory) dan Jakarta Stock Exchange (JSX) Monthly Statistic dengan periode waktu tahun 2003 hingga 2006. Jumlah populasi penelitian ini adalah 35 perusahaan dan jumlah sampel sebanyak 23 perusahaan dengan melewati tahap purposive sample. Teknik analisa yang akan dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi linier berganda untuk memperoleh gambaran yang menyeluruh mengenai hubungan antara variabel satu dengan variabel yang lain.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel inflasi, nilai tukar dan Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap Return Saham. Sedangkan Return on Asset (ROA) dan Current Ratio (CR) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Return Saham pada industri real estate and property. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan bahwa variasi inflasi, nilai tukar, Return On Asset (ROA), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) dan Current Rat (CR) dapat dijadikan pedoman, baik oleh pihak manajemen perusahaan dalam pengelolaan perusahaan, maupun oleh para investor dalam menentukan strategi investasi.

Abstract

Strategy quality is strategy was built with strategy planning, implementation and strategy evaluation which have a good quality. But the study result shows there is controversial result (research gap). It Was showed in variables of strategy planning, strategy implementation and strategy evaluation.Because of that condition, so this article have purpose to develop model of grand theory. With the developing ofstrategy which have a good quality, it was hoped can growing the increasing of organization works. So thre research agenda in the future strategy quality is the area of empirics study which is interesting to do.

Abstract

Market orientation has been identified as a managerial focus which can enhance firm performance.  However, this assumption increasingly is met with skepticism. There is no unequivocal evidence as to if and when market orientation has a positive impact on business performance. The exact mechanisms concerning performance enhancement are not fully understood. Current research proposes that the mechanisms by which market orientation enhances performance relies on the existence of aninnovative culture.  Innovativeness mediates the relationship between market orientation and performance.

Abstract

This Research has aim to analyze factors that induce Pre Flight Service. In Flight Service and Post Flight Service are going to influence the Repurchase Intension.The main question in this research is how to increase sales. Based on this question, a theoretical model and 4 hypothesis are proposed to be assessed using SPSS. Samples of this research are 100 consumers of PT. Sriwijaya Airlines Distic SemarangThese results show that is possible to be increased through increasing Pre Flight Service, In Flight Service and Post Flight Service which can be increased Service Quality; and which that is possible to be increased through increasingService Quality, can be increased Repurchase Intension

Abstract

Semakin kompleks dan ketatnya persaingan dalam industri jasa perbankan telah memaksa para bankir untuk mencari strategi yang paling tepat guna memenangkan persaingan. Salah satu strategi untuk meraih kesukses:in dalam industri jasa perbankan  yaitu dengan cara menciptakan kepuasan nasabah. Karena dengan kepuasan yang semakin tinggi diharapkan nasabah akan menjadi semakin loyal, yaitu dengan terus mengunakan jasa perbankan pada ban.k yang bersangkutan. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kepuasan nasabah adalah persepsi kualitas layanan, persepsi kualitas layanan itu sendiri dapat dibentuk melalui beberapa dimensi, antara lain citra atau reputasi, sarana pendukung fisik sistem operas!nya, kualitas jasa, serta interaksi karyawan dengan pelanggan. Adapun analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Structurai Equation Model (SEM), untuk menguji 5 (lima) hipotesis yang telah dikembangkan. Dan hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan hubungan yang positif antara persepsi kualitas layanan dengan kepuasan nasabah, persepsi kauliats layanan dengan reputasi, reputasi dengan kepuasan nasabah, reputasi dengan loyalitas nasabah, serta kepuasan nasabah dengan loyalitas nasabah. Hasil perhitungan untuk pengujian model menunjukkan hasil yang dapat diterima dengan menggunakan goodness of fit, yaitu GFI (Goodness of Fit Index),  AGFI (Adjusted Goodness of Fit Index), CFI (Comparative Fit Index), RMSEA (Root Mean Square Error of Approximation), TU (Tucker Lewis Index), dan CR (Critical Ratio).
