Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis analisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi komitmen penyaur sebagai upaya peningkatan hubungan jangka panjang dengan pemasok. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah cluster dan purposive sampling. Responden dari penelitian ini berjumlah 120 responden, dimana responden adalah apoteker dari pihak penyalur PT. Merapi Utama Pharma Cabang Semarang. Alat analisis data yang digunakan adalah Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) dengan bantuan program AMOS 4.01. Hasil analisis data penelitian ini menunjukkan model dapat diterima dengan baik dan dapat membuktikan bahwa (1) kepuasan penyalur atas layanan tenaga penjual berepngaruh positif oen signitikan terhadap komftmen penyalur pada pemasok; (2) kepercayaan pada pemasok berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap komitmen penyalur pada pemasok  (3) kepuasan penyalur atas layanan tenaga penjualan berpengaruh psotif dan signifikan terhadap hubungan jangka panjang dengan pemasok. (4) kepercayaan pada pemasak berpengaruh positif dan signfikan terhadap hubungan jangka panjang dengan pemasok; (5) komittnen penyalur pada pemasok berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hubungan jangka panjang dengan pemasok

Abstract

Organisasi  atau perusahaan menghadapi lingkungan yang selalu  berubah.  Dengan  semakin banyaknya pesaing, perubahandan perkembangan teknologi dan lain-lain.  Dalam menghadapai perkembangan haik eksternal maupun  internal organisasi dituntut selalu  berindak proaktif. Keberhasilan  organisasi  dalam mencapai tujuannya sangat  tergantung pada faktor sumber  daya alam manusia.  Oleh karena itu, pemimpin organisasi harus  menyiapkan sumber daya manusia sebaik  baiknya.Salah satu metode yang paling umum  untuk mengetahui  kondisi sumber  daya  manusia  dalam organisasi yaitu dengan  melakukan survai  sikap sumber daya  manusia  (karyawan).  Berdasarkan hasil survai  sikap  tersebut, pemimpin dapat menyusun program-program pengembangan karyawan.  Hal ini sangat  penting untuk mengingat bahwa  implementasi strategi organisasi,  karyawan sebagai faktor penting yang menentukan keberhasilannya.  Artikel ini membahas persyaratan survai  sikap yang efektif serta kekurangan-kekurangan metode  survai  sikap.

Abstract

This paper discuses the characteristic of malaysian exporters which have ventured into new markets, The comparison is made between systematic and non systematic exporters. The result show that systematic exporters are more likely to be larger in size and they achieved better export performance compared to  their counterparts. The differences between systematic exporters and non systematics exporters can also traced to their sources of marketings strengths

Abstract

The study aims to investigate firms' compliance in reporting the annual financial report to the BAPEPAM. Respondents were selected from the manufacture firms listed in Jakarta Stock Exchange. Hundred and ten firms sampled out of 155 firms (population) were withdrawn from annualy data of 2000-2002. The estimation technique of PROBIT model was invoked to analyze the data by using SHAZAM as econometrics' package (White, 1997). Two scenarios of Probit model were run to find out the best fit model. The results indicated that extraordinary and/or contingent items (EXTRA) variable was significant at a = 5 % to influence the firms' compliance (Timeliness) in submetting their annual financial report. While gearing (GEAR), profitability (PROFIT), size of firm (SIZE), age of firm (AGE) and ownership (OWN) have not statistically able to determine the dependent variable of compliance (Timeliness).This study suggests that the firm's compliance to submit the annual financial report on time should be measured more precisely to allow for indepthed resulst. Moreover, the aspects of auditor, the complexity of firm, types of audit committee and the quality of firm internal control have accounted for the future research.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to test the influences of leadership styleand new technology implementation on role conflictto impactemployee performance. Using these variables, the usage of these variables are able to solve the arising problem within officer Charoen Pokphand Semarang. Abstract

Perusahaan  keluarga  adalah  sebuah  organisasi yang  dimiliki,  dipimpin,  dan  dijalankan langsung  oleh  keluarga  pendirinya.  Perusahaan  keluarga  memiliki kontribusi besar terhadap ekonomi dan  masyarakat.  Meskipun  demikian,  hanya  30 persen perusahaan  keluarga yang mampu bertahan  sampai generasi kedua,  13 persen  sampai generasi ketiga  dan hanya 3 persen yang bertahan  setelahnya  (Merwe,2009).  Suksesi kemudian  menjadi sebuah tantangan  tersendiri bagi perusahaan  keluarga.Penelitian  ini akan membahas  tentang proses  suksesi pada  tiga perusahaan  keluarga  diJawa  Tengah.  Metode penelitian yang  digunakan  adalah metode penelitian  kualitatif yang akan  mengeksplorasi pengalaman  individu dari para  responden.  Tekhnik arralisa  data  dalam penelitian  ini menggunakan  metode  wawancara,  observasi,  dokumentasi,  dan  member checking.Dari tiga perusahaan yang  diteliti,  satu perusahaan  sudah  selesai melakukan prosessuksesi,  dan  dua  perusahaan  lainnya  masih  dalam proses  suksesi.  Dalam penelitian  ini juga ditemukan  ada  dua macam  proses  suksesi pada  perusahaan  keluarga  di Jawa  Tengah.  Yang pertama  adalah  suksesi  terencana,  yaitu proses  suksesi yang  memang  telah  direncanakan dan  dipersiapkan  oleh  generasi  terdahulu.  Yang  kedua  adalah  suksesi terselubung,  yaitu proses  suksesi  dimana  perusahaan  mungkin  tidak merasa  melakukan proses  suksesi,namun proses  tersebut  ada  dan  dijalankan  di perusahaan.

Abstract

This research was performed to investigate the influence of profitability, asset tangibility and institutional ownership on capital structure and dividend policy at manufacturing company published financial report during period 2009 - 2011.The sample of this research was selected based on purposive sampling with the following criteria: (1) manufacturing company published financial report during period2009 - 2011; and (2) manufacturing company given dividend during period 2009 -2011. The Data was based on publicity Indonesian Capital Market Directory (ICMD) from2009 to 2011. Sample was acquired 31 of 159 company. Data was analyzed with multi linier regression of ordinary least square and hypotheses was tested using t-statistic and f-statistic at level of significance 5%.Empirical evidence showed that profitability and asset tangibility had significant influence on capital structure of manufacturing company listed in IDX over period 2009-2011 at level of significance less than 5%, and capital structure,  profitability and asset tangibility had significant influence on dividend policy of manufacturing company listed in IDX over period 2009-2011 at level of significance less than 5%.

Abstract

In a context of enhancing the competitive advantage, acquiring knowledge is an important factor. This point is the weakest of the KUKM powerlessness. The problem that Group of Small Business and Enterpreneurs often face basically is on the decision making on Competitive Strategy in order to enhance the firms’ performance. Therefore, it is necessary to examine “How to enhance the Group of Small Business and Enterpreneurs’s performance, by focusing on Competitive Strategy and the affecting factors.” Hence, a model that consists of five variables is developed. Those five variables are strategic assets, environment adaptability, entrepreneurship orientation, competitive strategy and firms’ performance.Data of observed variables is collected through questionnaire. The questionnaire is specially developed to have structured questions about the variables. 100 respondents of owners or people who run leather crafts in Yogyakarta were asked to answer the questionnaires. Then, data collection is analyzed with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method.The test result of the model shows that the model developed in this researched is proven to be fit. While the hypothesis test shows that the quality of strategic asset, environmental adaptability, and the quality of competitive strategy has a positive and significant effect on firms’ performance.Based on the hypothesis result, enhancing Group of Small Business and Enterpreneurs performance can be achieved by making better the competitive strategy through entrepreneurship orientation.

Abstract

PBV is the relationship between stock market price and book value per share. This ratio measures the value given by financial market to the management and organization as a firm continuous to grow. PBV shows ability of firm creating a relative value of the firm toward the capital invested. The higher the ratio PBV, The more successful the firm creating a value for shareholders. This study is aimed to examine the influence of debt to equity ratio, dividend payout ratio, return on equity and size toward price book value. Population of this study is all manufacturing firm listed on IDX during 2005-2007. By using purposive sampling, the written got 24 firms to be the sample. This study used multiple regression analysis technique using SPSS, in previously, the data were examined using classical assumption test such as test of normality, multicolinierity, and autocorrelation. The result shows that debt to equity ratio, dividend payout ratio, return on equity and size, all of them have a role towards price book value with 75,9% of adjusted R2 . Individually debt to equity ratio and dividend payout ratio have a negative relation and insignificant toward price book value while return on equity and size have positive relation and significant toward price book value.
