In the learning process, the teacher has an obligation to be able to share attention and supervision to students, especially in using manipulative materials. Giving more supervision by the teacher in the use of manipulative materials is very necessary. In this study, has the aim of knowing the perception of mathematics teachers in the use of manipulative mathematics teaching materials with comperative material on students to improve character. Any research that uses descriptive qualitative methods from the perception through mathematics teachers which produces research data with a very good response. Research results by showing that perception by mathematics teachers in the use of manipulative mathematics teaching materials for comparison materials resulted that use through manipulative teaching materials was very effective if used on comparative materials for students to improve their character. It is indicated by the perception achieved by the teacher towards the students. So that learning using manipulative materials needs to be considered by educators to be more focused so that learning runs more optimally.

Self-efficacy is one of the affective factors that contributes to students’ learning. It is defined by the extent which one believes they can do to accomplish a task. Specifically in mathematics learning, self-efficacy is students’ belief of their mathematical ability. The current research investigated mathematics self-efficacy of middle school students in Makassar. 393 students were administered to 22 items mathematics self-efficacy questionnaire. It was found that students’ self-efficacy is in moderate category with all three dimensions (level, strength, generality) being in moderate category as well. Students in A and B-stratified school had slightly better self-efficacy than those who are in C-stratified school. Detailed on some questionnaire items is discussed as well.

This study aims to determine whether there is a significant effect between learning independence and mathematical resilience simultaneously on the mathematical problem solving ability of eighth grade students of SMP Manbaul Hikmah. The type of research used is quantitative research with survey method. The population in this study were all eighth grade students of SMP Manbaul Hikmah with a research sample of 48 students. The results showed that there was a significant effect between learning independence and mathematical resilience simultaneously on the mathematical problem solving abilities of eighth grade students of SMP Manbaul Hikmah on the Pythagorean which was indicated by the F test results obtained by the value of F_hitung=8,454>3,20. The influence of learning independence and mathematical resilience simultaneously can affect the mathematical problem solving ability of eighth grade students of SMP Manbaul Hikmah by 27.35% and the remaining 72.65% is influenced by other factors not explained in the study.

Mathematics is an abstract science, so we need media that can bridge things from contextual to abstract. The use of interactive learning multimedia that provides visualization and interactions in it can help students understand mathematics learning better. The purpose of this research is to produce an interactive Scratch-based interactive mathematics learning multimedia that meets the valid and practical requirements to facilitate the learning of VII graders of SMP/MTs in the matter of comparing fractions. The method used is Research and Development. Collecting data using interviews, observations, literature studies, and validation questionnaires. Based on the results of the validation questionnaire, it was concluded that the learning media was feasible to use and the learning media were considered to be able to facilitate the learning of mathematics in the matter of comparing fractions.

This bibliometric analysis focuses on publications related to the Likert scale using VOSViewer based on Google Scholar data. This study was conducted to determine the number of international publications on the trend of research development using a Likert scale in the time interval between years 0-0. The data search was carried out using the PoP (Publish or Perish) software based on Google Scholar with the keywords Likert Scale Mathematics. The data is in the form of journals with a sample of 1000 journals. Then the data were analyzed using VOSViewer and Ms Excel. The results showed that the number of research publications related to Likert scale mathematics experienced an unstable situation where the most publications occurred in the 2012-2016 interval, namely as many as 246 article titles. The publishers who publish the most scientific journals are Elsevier, Springer, Taylor & Francis, and Wiley Online Library. Likert scale mathematics research with a fairly high density, namely the Likert scale, the rest has a low density such as validation, engineering, mathematics performance so that it is possible to be used as a theme for the next research.

Bimbel Himalaya as one of the tutoring in Mojokerto City which has the potential as a place for teaching and learning activities between students and Tentor. In the city of Mojokerto there are many schools of all levels, namely Elementary Schools, Junior High Schools, and Senior High Schools. This research is limited to high school level. The design of this study to find travel routes in the distribution of brochures is very necessary in order to obtain the effectiveness of the minimum distance. In this connection, graph theory as a branch of mathematics is used to complete the design using the nearest neighbor algorithm method. The location of the Himalayan tutor is represented by a point and a connecting road between two locations is represented by a directed line. This study used a route model for Himalayan tutoring staff and 15 high schools in Mojokerto with a minimum distance.

Education can determine the quality of human resources. The better the quality of education, the more it will determine the direction of improving the quality of its human resources. The high and low level of education of the population can affect the dynamics of change or the quality of socio-economic life of the population of an area so that it is expected to be able to change the mindset of the community towards a more advanced direction. The importance of measuring and calculating the Education indicators in 2019 to see how far the distribution of education is in the Regency/City of East Java Province. The grouping of Education indicators in East Java in the form of APK, APS, APM, highest education completed, average length of schooling and AMH using the Cluster Hierarchy analysis method. By performing descriptive statistical analysis on the data, it can be seen that the population of districts/cities in East Java has various characteristics and quality of education. The growth of formal education at the level of high school education and equivalent has not been evenly distributed in every Regency/City of East Java Province. In the 2019 East Java Province Education indicator data, 2 groups of Regencies/Cities have the same tendency in the indicators. Based on the education indicator group formed, it can be concluded that the Regency/City in group 1 has a high average score on the SD certificate variable, which is 30.5719 compared to group 2, which means that the population aged over 10 years in the Regency/City in group 1 is more who have the last education up to elementary school equivalent. So it is hoped that the East Java Provincial Government will focus more on developing and equalizing the quality of education in the districts/cities included in cluster/group 1 so that the progress and welfare of the people of East Java Province can be achieved.

Information about the weather is needed. Weather is one of the considerations of the community in carrying out various activities. The purpose of this study is to provide information related to weather forecasts by applying Markov chain theory. The Markov chain is a random process in which all information about the future is contained in the present state. The study uses daily weather data that occurs on June 1, 2022 to June 30, 2022 to predict the weather for the next 7 days. The data used is secondary data taken from the website of the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) of Padang City. Based on the results of calculations using Markov chains, a transition matrix is obtained that is used to predict the weather for the next day.

The purpose of this study was to describe the result of developing mathematics learning media using the Scratch application entitled Game Learn with Adventure on the topic of the Linear Equation in One Variable (PLSV). This study uses the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) development model through six-stage, namely concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, and distribution. Furthermore, a trial of the game was conducted on the participants, namely mathematics teacher prospective students. To find out the response of participants to the media that has been designed so that researchers provide a questionnaire on Google Form and interviews. Research participants are 20 of the Mathematics Education Study Program class of 2021 semester 2 at one of the universities in Bandung. Based on the research results, it is known that the game learn with adventure on the PLSV topic can be designed very well through the Scratch application in the MDLC development model. The results of the calculation of student responses show an average percentage of 93.3% of positive statements in the very good category. Thus the need for research to determine the effectiveness of the learning process and game development on different topics.

This study aims to determined the effect of students' mathematical dispositions when applying the hybrid learning model to student achievement in the mathematics education undergraduate program at Wahidiyah University in the even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. This research was a quantitative research with survey method. The sampling technique in this study used saturated sampling. The data collection method used is the documentation of the final semester exam results for student achievement data and a questionnaire for students' mathematical disposition data. In this study using a simple regression test which is calculated using the SPSS v.26 for Windows program. The research data were tested for normality, linearity, and simple regression. The regression model equation Y = 0.760 + 0.983 X + means that every 1% increase in mathematical disposition will result in an increase in mathematics learning achievement of 0.98 and vice versa. The conclusion of this study was that the mathematical disposition of students when learning Hybrid Learning affects student learning achievement positively and significantly where the influence of students' mathematical dispositions on learning Hybrid Learning on student learning achievement is 96.6% and the remaining 3.4% is influenced by other variables not examined in this research.
