The emergence of this research is based on the lack of mathematical skills of students, especially at the primary / MI. Lack of ability is one of them triggered by the selection and use of learning approaches that are less varied. This research is a quantitative research in the form of experiments. Data collection techniques used instrument of observation, interviews and tests. Analysis of data such as observation data and interviews conducted with descriptive analysis and quantitative data were analyzed using statistical formulas in the form of t-test with SPSS version 17. The results showed there are significant PMR approach to the learning outcomes of students in Class VA MIN 1 Padangsidimpuan.

Character education is a cultivation system of values of the character of the child, which includes knowledge, consciousness or volition, and actions to implement these values, both to God, ourselves, others, the environment, or nationality to become a good person. Character education should be imparted to the students with integrative pattern to shape the personality of the students. In character education in schools, all components must be involved, including components - components of education itself, ie the content of the curriculum, learning and assessment, quality of relationships, handling or management of subjects, school management, the implementation of the activities or curricular activities, empowering infrastructure , financing, and work ethos throughout the school community and the environment. All the above elements should be integrated education as a whole in establishing the character of students.

Perception someone has a significant impact on a persons attitude toward what he perceived, whereas the perception is not always true. Perception is a process that konpleks, which consists of a sensing, process, organization and interpretation. In the context of this study that examined is how the public perception of the existence Padangsidimpuan STAIN campus community radio FM Proxy STAIN Padangsidimpuan as media of dakwah. The background of this research presence in campus-based community radio in STAIN Padangsidimpuan. As a campus-based community broadcaster, the campus community participation in radio broadcasting sustainability has become a "duty". Based on this problem, this research is a descriptive qualitative research. This study concluded that the campus community has a positive perception of the presence Padangsidimpuan STAIN radio as a medium of dakwah. It can be seen from the attitude of the campus community who agree that the radio broadcast format STAIN Padangsidimpuan is radio dakwah, and hope that the presence of this radio as a dakwah radio icon in the TABAGSEL. Although there are many differences opinion comes to remain a community broadcasting institution or commercial broadcasters.

Newspapers as general media information play a role in process of re-actualizethe advanced of Islamic civilization. History of Muslimâs glory several centuries ago which almost destroyed, now being exhumed and become the actual information in the newspaper. The efforts were made by newspaper was examined by using some theory as follows: agenda setting, discourse analysis and semiotics that also hasfunction as research method. The results of this study indicate that the Islamic civilization is very advanced in science, architecture, food processing technology, medical, state managementand others. Even, some results of Muslim scientistresearch and thought became references for Western scientists in developing studies in various fields. Therefore, efforts to re-actualize the advanced of Islamic civilization are indispensable as a motivation to raise awareness of Muslims that we are intelligent and proggressifpeople .

Islamic business direct economic or business world full of economic values and ethics, in other words that Islam never separate the economics with ethics. The supermarket or grocery store is a store that sells all kinds of daily necessities. The word is literally taken from the United Kingdom, this means it is a huge market. Goods sold in the supermarket are usually the stuff of daily goods. Sewalayan Grace Shariah as a buying and selling community has showed the appropriate business pattern of Sharia. This is evidenced from the pricing of goods, pricing of honesty in terms of capital and the sales price and the price of conformity with the quality of the goods, and the granting to the purchaser of khiyar khiar khiyar assemblies, aib, khiyar ruyah and khiyar ain. Translation is an activity to transfer a message from certain language to other language as similar as the original message from the source text. One of the novel that has good quality in translation is the the Old Man and the Sea (TOMatS) by Ernest Hemingway and it is translated by Dian Vita Elliyati. This research is aimed to investigating the methods used in translating expression of emotion and the frequency of method used in translating them. The last one is to investigate the pattern of translations methods in TOMatS Novel. This research uses descriptive design. The instrument of this research is the writer itself. The data source of this research is the novel entitled The Old Man and the Sea and its translation. Furthermore, the data of this research is all the expression of emotions in the novel The Old Man and the Sea and its translation. The result of this research is that the novel has 55 expression of emotions in TOMatS novel. Meanwhile, from 55 data, the writer found that the translator uses different methods in translating the expression of emotion. The writer found that the translator use literal translation in translating 15 data (27.27%), Semantic Translation Method is used to translate 18 data (32.72%), Communicative Translation Method is used to translate 18 data too (32.72%) and Word-for-Word Translation Method is only used to translate 4 data (7.27%). Furthermore, Literal Translation Method is mostly used to translate Emotion of Satisfactory Affection (8 data or 14.55%). Then Semantic Translation Method is mostly used to translate Emotion of Unsatisfactory Affection (6 data or 10.91%). In addition, Communicative Translation Method is mostly used to translate Emotion Of Satisfactory Affection (6 data or 10.91%) and Emotion of Unsatisfactory Affection (6 data or 10.91%). Additionally, Word-for-Word Translation Method is mostly used to translate Emotion Of Unsatisfactory Affection (2 data or 3.64%). For the next researchers who concern to the translation, it is suggested that they investigate the technique used in translating novel because it is very important to help translators, especially for the translators who translate the literary work

AbstractThis research is done to test variable Assets's (AS), Profit is Margin (PM), Solvency ratio (RS), Liquidity (LK) to financial Performance (KK) insurance company. Data that is utilized is secondary data which is insurance company finance data that published by Bank Info on year 2012. analisis's tech that is utilized is analisis double regression and menggnunakan's hypothesis quiz tests t partially, quiz f simultan's ala with of significance's level 5 % and determinant coefficient quiz. Analysis's result data that is done by using SPSS.20 was gotten to usufruct that Assets (AS), Profit is Margin (PM), Liquidity (LK) don't have influence that signifikan to financial Performance (KK) insurance company whereas Solvency Ratio (RS) having influence that signifikan to financial performance. While ability predicts of variable fourth that independent to financial performance as big as 50. 6 % , meanwhile its rest 49.4 % worded by variable is other variable that doesn't be worded deep model observational it.Kata Kunci : Assets, Profit Margin, Rasio Solvabilitas, Likuiditas dan Kinerja

AbstractHadith is the second source of law in Islam although its codification accomplished in the year 100 AH, which at that time there has been a lot going on hadith forgeries. Likewise Hadith tawaf Ifadah for women menstruation should be investigated because hadith ahad and its quality has not been thoroughly studied by the perfect rules. Character education is a major issue in the development of national education. Character education or character education plus is a necessity in the success of humans in the future. This research was conducted in order to look the forms of religious and nationalist education in school. The study was conducted by using the literature review method in the library with data collection techniques through reading various books as a comparison of opinions between several authors, then the reading results were analyzed through grouping and categorization, so that finally found the concept of religious character education and true nationalism. From the results of the study it is known that the concept of fostering religious character education and nationalism is carried out in an integrated manner through three main elements, namely educational support devices, intervention in character values into three components of education in schools, and habituation in the school environment. The values of Religious character and Nationalism that are developed are values related to divinity (relegius), character values related to oneself (honest, responsible, disciplined, hard work, curious, independent and love of science), related character values with others (polite, respecting the work of others, adhering to social rules and democracy), character values related to the environment (social and environmental care). The implementation of religious character and nationalism education is carried out by incorporating the values of religious character and nationalism into the syllabus and plans for learning devices

AbstractABSTRACT: This study aims to analyze the moral values in Malay traditional wedding at Bahorok Langkat District in North Sumatra Province, covering mating customs, and moral values contained in it. This study uses qualitative method. The determination of sampling is done by purposive informant. It is not determined the amount. The target is to get information to the point of saturation, so that there is no difference anymore information of informant. Data is collected using observation, interview techniques and documention. The technique ensures the validity of this study is using triangulation of data sources and methods. The data analysis model is Miles and Hubberman method using three step: the simplification of data, presentation of data, and drawing conclusions. The research finds that the Malay traditional wedding at Bahorok has through several stages, beginning from merisik, woo , connective promise , then berinai night and the next day is the ceremony procession that accompanied the dish tasted juadah, followed by a procession escorted the bride to the stage hempang rod, introductory martial arts, hempang pages, dance reception, and fan hempang. The next procession is going up the aisle with a slap and exchange event hall, followed by a procession of plain flour, rice meal - facing presence and in the end with berdimbar bath. In the event merisik and woo, it found the social values such as respect and respecting for the rights of girls (gender), the event promises contain connective value of loyalty. In the event there is a power struggle on berinai, event ceremony of religious contains values on fighting and spirit. The event usher the bride is value of respect and leadership values. In the event of symbolic, there is a fresh flour religious value, harmony, honesty, fighting, spirit and respect for the natural environment. There is a symbolic slap on the value of harmony, democracy and independence.Kata Kunci : Nilai, Moral, Perkawinan, Melayu
