Abstract

Almost of all universities in Saudi Arabia have Arabic learning program for non Arab student, one of them is Arabic language institute for non Arabic speakers at Umm Alqura university in Mecca. As a holders responsibility for developing and expanding the Arabic language, this Institute in collaboration with the kingdom of Saudi Arabia has implemented a training program to strengthen Arabic learning for Islamic boarding school teachers, teachers and Arabic lecturers from Indonesia and Senegal.on 13 Shawwal - 20 Dzulqaidah 1439 coincides with June 28 - August 4, 2018. The various learning activities in this program include Arabic language, Islam and cultural insights that designed professionally. Based on the author's observations during became a participant in this program 2018. It’s can be a very good reflection for developing Arabic learning programs in Indonesia, especially from attitude aspects, and teaching management. The author also recommends Arabic educators in Indonesia to take part in the Daurah to enrich Arabic learning techniques.

Abstract

Kosakata merupakan modal pertama bagi pemakai Bahasa baik komunikasi verbal maupun tekstual. Namun, pada umumnya proses pembalajaran kosakata masih kurang inovatif dan fun. Guru sering menggunakan metode (ceramah) dengan menampilkan kosakata dan meminta siswanya untuk melafalkannya. Alangkah baiknya jika dalam pembelajaran kosakata bahasa Arab dengan menggunakan media yang menarik, menyenangkan, memotivasi siswa untuk berpartisipasi aktif dan dapat menjadi perantara atau memudahkan siswa dalam penguasaan kosakata bahasa Arab. Maka Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran my happy route dalam meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata bahasa Arab di kelas VIII MTsN 10 Sleman Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan model Research and Development (R&D) Borg and Gall. Prosedur penelitian menggunakan 8 langkah. Produk ditinjau oleh dosen pembimbing, ahli materi, dan ahli media. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket, soal pre-test dan post-test untuk mengetahui kualitas dan pengaruh media terhadap pembelajaran kosakata bahasa Arab. Hasil penelitian ini terciptanya media pembelajaran kosakata bahasa Arab berupa permainan my happy route kelas VIII tingkat Madrasah Tsanawiyah dengan mengambil tema bab III. Hasil uji coba menunjukkan nilai positif dilihat dari peningkatan nilai belajar yang meningkat dari nilai rata-rata 60,85 menjadi 82,97 dan respon siswa dengan persentase 88% yang menunjukkan kriteria positif. Hasil ini diupayakan dapat menumbuhkan semangat guru dalam mencipkatan media pembelajaran kosakata berbasis permainan penuh kreatif dan inovatif sehingga dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Abstract

This study aims to explore the use of vlog in learning Mahārah kalām. The formulation of the problem in this study is: how to use Vlogs in learning Mahārah kalām and What is the perception of students regarding the use of Vlogs on learning Mahārah kalām. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods with trianguliation techniques namely observation, interviews, and documentation. The results revealed the use of Vlog /Vlogging in Mahārah kalām learning using the following steps: (1) Determination of the theme by lecturers supporting the course, (2) Preparation of ideas as material for making scripts/scenarios, (3) Site selection, (4) Evaluation of results, (5) and publication of Vlog video results on social media accounts. received a very positive response from students of the IAIN Palangka Raya Language Education Study Program. 28 out of 30 students gave positive responses regarding the use of Vlogs in the learning of Mahārah kalām. This positive response is based on several reasons: its use is easy, flexible, practical, and economical. Students are also required to be more creative in making vlogging videos so as to produce a good video. but the use of Vlog is also not free from negative responses such as cheating by students who seem to hide the text/script behind the camera so that the video presented is not entirely pure from the results of Mahārah kalām.

Abstract

This research is useful to discuss the use of information and communication technology in Arabic learning in Islamic University by using the literature study method with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data sources in this research are research literature and theory books. This study aims to obtain written information related to the use of information and communication technology as a media for Arabic learning in Islamic University. In addition to answering questions about the media that can be used in Arabic learning as an effort by Islamic Universities to make Arabic easy to understand, to know, to practice and like students in their learning. The researcher concludes that with advances in information and communication technology, Arabic lecturers must be able to develop effective Arabic learning models in an Islamic university, and use appropriate methods to realize learning objectives and use media that are compatible with learning methods that are accordance with information and communication technology advancement. information. The development of technology and communication provide great potential to change the way students learn and obtain information. Various learning media that can be used for effective Arabic learning are computer, internet, television, and Arabic e-learning. Abstract

The development of technology has a big impact on human life. The existence of a machine translation is the result of technological advancements that aim to facilitate humans in translating one language into another. The focus of this research is to examine the quality of the google translate machine in terms of vocabulary accuracy, clarity, and reasonableness of meaning. Data of mufradāt taken from several Arabic translation dictionaries, while the text is taken from the phenomenal work of Dr. Aidh Qorni in the book Lā Tahzan. The method used in this research is the translation critic method. The results showed that in terms of the accuracy of vocabulary and terms, Google Translate has a good translation quality. In terms of clarity and reasonableness of meaning, google translate has not been able to transmit ideas from the source language well into the target language. Furthermore, in grammatical, the results of the google translate translation do not have a grammatical arrangement, the results of the google translate translation do not have a good grammatical structure and are by following the rules that applied in the target Indonesian language.From the data, it shows that google translate should not be used as a basis for translating an Arabic text into Indonesian, especially in translating verses of the Qur'ān and Hadīts. A beginner translator should prefer a dictionary rather than using google translate to effort and improve the ability to translate.Key Words: Translation, Google Translate, Arabic
