Abstract

Leadership is an activity to influence the behavior of others so that they can be directed to achieve specific goals. If someone has begun to influence the behavior of others, then began walking the leadership activities. In conjunction with the behavior of the leader (governor) Ratu Atut Chosiyah are usually done to his or society, that directs the behavior and conduct that support. Therefore, the function of leadership is to take decisions, therefore it can be seen if the leadership style practiced in terms of making decisions.The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach, and the type of research used in this study is a survey research. This survey method provides an overview of the variables at once examine the relationship between variables. Therefore the survey method will reveal the factual data based on the information obtained.Test instruments used are validity and reliability. Because the data in the form ordinal then transformed first into the interval. Then the data were analyzed using normality test, multicollinearity test, regression test, hypothesis testing (test f or simultaneous, coefficient determination test, test t / partial), correlation.Based on the results of the research, it is known that the influence of the position (X1) against the leadership style of the correlation coefficient of 20.3%. While the influence of credibility (X2) against the leadership style of the correlation coefficient of 40.9%. While the influence of reputation (X3) leadership style correlation coefficient of 49%, then it can be concluded that the independent variable on the dependent variable are positive and significant correlation. As for the coefficient of determination (R2) for the relationship of these variables has a value of 0.563 (56.3%), meaning that the dependent variable of leadership style can be explained by the independent variables (position, credibility and reputation) by 56.3%. Abstract

AbstractThis study analyzed the role of cultural political actors in Banten: Kiai and Jawara. Thepolitical role of Kiai in Banten has risen and fell down. In 1945 until 1950, all of the Bupati in Bantenwere positioned by Kiai. Since that time to now, the leadership of Kiai has decreased. In New Orderera, many Kiais were organized as supported organization of ruling party. It was mutualism relation,ruling party got mass supports and Kiai got material support for himself and pesantren. Jawara arerural strongmen or semi socially embedded men of prowess who are skillful in pencak silat and someare believed to have magical power, called ilmu. Some Jawara has been organized by Golkar party,since 1972. In post-Soeharto era, jawara has been predominance power. They put their family inmany political positions both in executive and legislative. They use intimidation and violence to gettheir aim.On the other side, Kiai had been fragmented in many political powers, but still as supportingactor not as the main one. To fulfill their needs, both for their selves and for pesantren, some Kiaishas done pragmatically and depended on others. The mix of political and economic weakness madeKiai failed to be a main actor in banten local politics.Keywords: Local politics, Local political actors, Power

Abstract

This research focuses on the involvement of President and Parliament in the selection of committees in General Election Commission (Komisi Pemilihan Umum/KPU). This article uses  Douglas Verney's theory on the principles of presidential government system as an analytical lens. This research found that theselection processes of KPU's committees, 2017-2022, that involved national parliamentary body has been procedurally proven to follow  Law No. 15/2011. Yet, some effort to include party's interest within is also visible. Meanwhile, President's involvement in the process is done through the formation of Selection Team appointed directly from President's close network. In both processes, there is bargaining process that requires the prospectus KPU committees to have commitment to support each party's interest (president and parties in parliamentary body). As such, it is clear there is a tendency to politicize the institution from each institution, and therefore, there is a crucial need for revising regulation on election commission.

Abstract

This research describing how political communication effectiveness been maintained between members DPD RI origin West Kalimantan and local communities border. Political communication that develops between the two not widely held in official. But it is not seen in border West Kalimantan namely village Sebunga West Kalimantan. DPD RI as an institution regional representatives should have a place communication between DPD members and a constituent at each region. It is embodied in public consultation forum border area that in cooperation LSM Perhimpunan PENA an NGO local as an escort the forum.Communication that lasts imaged in public consultation forum border areas. Communication effectiveness Erma Suryani Ranik can be assessed of credibility  communicator, structure messages, media, society and reaction that is in communication process political. Abstract

ABSTRACTThe mission of all political parties in the election is maximizing votes. The number of votes in the elections is a tool to measure the electability of a political party. Economic voting theory tells that government parties are held more accountable than opposition parties for the economic conditions. If economic conditions near election is good, people votes for the incumbents, otherwise for the opposition. Exchange rate can be used to measure the economic conditions of a nation on a daily basis. This research reveals the causal relationship between the result of parties’ political economic policy in welfare which is measured by the exchange rate, against the parties electability in the election which is measured by the number of votes. First, this research is try to find the relation between exchange rate amd parties electability, and then try to find the voter type that most dominant and majority in Indonesia’s elections and last, try to find the fastest, most effective and most efficient parties political economic policy in Indonesia.Keyword : political party, exchange rate, number of votes

Abstract

AbstrakDari perspektif ekonomi politik, globalisasi identik dengan liberalisasi, sedangkan dariperspektif kebijakan publik, globalisasi identik dengan policy transfer. Ekonomi politik menekankanbahwa globalisasi merupakan sistem yang menyediakan ruang bagi pembukaan interelasi daninteraksi ekonomi antar negara, baik dalam bentuk perdagangan bebas, mobilitas aktivitas produksi,dan pertukaran teknologi. Sementara itu, perspektif kebijakan publik mengartikankan globalisasisebagai ruang yang lebih luas untuk pertukaran pengetahuan yang berguna bagi pembangunan danpengembangan kebijakan dalam konteks yang disebut policy transfer. Meskipun kedua perspektifseolah-olah memberikan penekanan yang berbeda, pada dasarnya kedua penekanan itu sama-samamensyaratkan adanya entitas bernama global governance. Bahkan, terkadang entitas ini berperanmenentukan dalam keputusan di sebuah negara, mendorong perdebatan pro dan kontra.Pengalaman Indonesia di akhir 1990an, misalnya, menunjukkan kepada kita betapa lembaga globalgovernance berperan dominatif dalam reformasi ekonomi dan politik, memunculkan pertanyaantentang kedaulatan negara. Abstract

Air sangat penting bagi kehidupan. Beberapa orang menganggap air sebagai barang ekonomis lebih dari sekedar sumber daya alam yang bias didapat secara bebas. Perlakuan air sebagai sumber daya ekonomis telah menciptakan banyak masalah antara pemerintah/Negara, rakyat serta perusahaan yang menjadi mitra pemerintah. Di Indonesia, Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) telah gagal dalam mengelola air untuk rakyat, Terkebak di antara manajemen public dan privat, PDAM telah kehilangan perannya sebagai alat Negara untuk mengelola dan utamanya mendistribusikan air bagi rakyat. Kesalahan tata kelola, kurangnya transparansi dan akuntabilitas serta budaya kuno dalam pengelolaan pemerintah adalah masalah-masalah yang ada pada keseharian opearsional PDAM. Kasus di PDAM Kota Semarang akan menggambarkan kegagalan Negara/pemerintah dalam mengelola air bagi warganya.

Abstract

AbstrakBy the Election Day, many political party members move to other parties. This action caninfluence the political stability and deteriorate the political party image from the society’s point of view.This action may not happen if the political party can function and manage their party well. Thismovement starts from the intention to move to other party. This study is aimed to evaluate empiricallythe correlation between attitude and subjective norm on moving to other party with the politicalmembers’ intention to move to other parties. The hypothesis of this research is there is a correlationbetween the attitude and subjective norm of political party members on the movement to other party,and the intention of political party members. The more positive their attitude and the higher thesubjective norm of political party members on moving to other party is , the higher their intention tomove to other party is or vice versa. The data got show that there is a significant positive correlationbetween attitude and subjective norm of the political party members, and the intention of the politicalparty members to move to other party (R = 0,566 with F Regression 20,961 with p < 0, 01).Keyword: Intension, attitude, subjective norm, political party membersA. Abstract

This research was conducted in South Central Timor. As an informant among them is the Governor of NTT, NTT Provincial Parliament, Head of Planning NTT Province, Regent TTS TTS Head of Planning, academics and bureaucrats are directly involved as well as understand and be able to provide information on policy formulation. Program policy formulation Desa Mandiri Anggur Merah was originally formulated by the Governor with Secretary Region NTT and NTT Head of Planning. Governor entrusted to the government officials to prepare the whole start of the program to design and supervise simultaneously evaluate this policy. Involvement in the policy on education Only limited monitoring is authorized to monitor and foster villages get help Independent Village Wine Red (1 SKPD oversee 2 village target ). Role of Village Community Empowerment Board (BPMD) or any other name that has direct contact with villagers and find out what the problem is in the village, were not involved in the process of formulating the problem. Development partnership programs with governments District/City views in the presence pereplikasian performed by all regencies/cities . The lack of delegation of authority given to the District/ City in the legitimacy of making such a program would not be implemented properly. Repair organizing primarily on education involvement NTT Province and Regency/ City regulation is clearly their respective roles, so that each can determine the function on education and tasks to be run, as well as being an active part in the implementation of the Desa Mandiri Anggur Merah to achieve goals. Giving duties and authority must function properly in order to avoid overlap between the Provincial Government and Regency/City .

Abstract

This study intends to explain the practices of money politics in local elections (Pilkada) and village head elections (Pilkades) in Pati regency using qualitative approach. Three people whose deep political knowledge and experience in both elections were purposively selected as informants. Data were collected by in depth interview and then qualitatively analyzed. The results showed that there were similarities of money politics in both Pilkada and Pilkades, including when the money was distributed and who were in charge as field operators, which were campaign staffs.
