Abstract

Work is an essential thing in the world of work so that many studies have been carried out to examine the variables that are correlated with it. In this study, the researcher wanted to examine the relationship between work environment and job satisfaction and gender as a moderating variable for employees at the Yogya Cherbon Junction department store. This research is quantitative research with a survey method, using two measuring tools, namely: the Job Satisfaction Scale by Brayfield Rothe (1951) and the Work Environment Scale from Moos (in Maqsood, 2011). The study involved 119 employees of the Yogya Cherbon Junction Department Store, consisting of 17 men and 102 women. The results of the analysis of the R-value data of 0.512 and F of 13.614 with a significance of 0.000 (p 0.05), which indicates a positive correlation between the work environment and significant job satisfaction. However, it was found that the value on X3 (interaction between work environment variables and gender) was 1.486 with a significance of 0.140 (p0.05), which indicates that gender does not apply as a variable to the relationship between job satisfaction and the work environment of employees at the Yogya Intersection Department Store. Carbon. Further explanation of the results is discussed in this article, along with suggestions that can be implemented for the world of work based on this research

Abstract

This aim of study was to examine the relationship between self-concept and game online MMORPG player. Whereas the hypothesis proposed in this study is there was at relationship with self-concept and game online addiction in game MMORPG.            The sample of this study was 100 gamers who was game MMORPG. The questioner used was game online addiction scale and self-concept scale. The sample used purposive sampling technique in order to get the sample. The result of the study was analyzed by pearson product momen technique.            The result of the study showed that there was a negative significant relationship between self-concept and game online addcition in player game MMORP with value r = -0,393 and p = 0,000 (p0,05). Therefore, the hypothesis is accepted.            Keywords : Self-Concept, Game Online Addiction

Abstract

Perilaku prososial merupakan salah satu dasar perkembangan yang harusdimiliki anak, karena sangat diperlukan untuk persiapan diri menjadi anggotakelompok dalam akhir masa kanak-kanak agar mampu beradaptasi denganlingkungan yang lebih luas.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengamati dan mengidentifikasi perilakuprososial anak usia dini di Sentra Bermain Peran. Jenis penelitian yang digunakandalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian inimenggunakan variabel tunggal, yaitu perilaku prososial anak usia dini. Perilakuprososial yang dimaksud dalam penelitian ini, mengacu pada karakterisitikperilaku prososial menurut Damon, Hurlock, dan Kurikulum pendidikan TK Al-Furqan Jember. Pengambilan subyek menggunakan teknik stratified randomsampling.Perilaku prososial yang muncul pada anak usia dini ketika di sentrabermain peran adalah kerjasama, persaingan, kemurahan hati, hasrat akanpenerimaan sosial, simpati, empati, ketergantungan, sikap santun, peduli, meniru,dan perilaku kelekatan.

Abstract

Prosocial behavior is an effort to improve welfare and harmony in the social life of the community. This study aims to determine the effect of gratitude on prosocial behavior in the Young-Mudi Brotherhood of Borobudur Temple, Medan. This research was conducted on 149 young people who had joined for one year and aged 18-40 years. The hypothesis in this study was that there was a positive relationship between gratitude and prosocial behavior. Hypothesis testing uses the Pearson Product Moment Correlation technique after an assumption test that includes tests of normality and linearity through the help of SPSS 21 for windows. The results of data analysis showed a correlation coefficient of 0.551 (p 0.000). This shows that the gratitude of young people has a positive and significant effect on prosocial behavior.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh tingkat religiusitasterhadap psychological wellbeing mahasiswa yang sedang mengerjakan skripsi.Tekhnik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan stratifiedproporsional random sampling, dan sampel penelitian berjumlah 86 mahasiswa.Metode pengumpulan data mempergunakan skala religiusitas dan skalapsychological wellbeing.Hasil pengujian validitas terhadap skala religiusitas mendapatkan 2 itemgugur dan 16 item valid dari 18 item yang ada, dengan koefisien validitas (rxy)berkisar antara 0,041 – 0,626 dan reliabilitas (α = 0,764). Sedangkan pada skalapsychological wellbeing terdapat 4 item gugur dan 24 item valid dari 28 itemyang ada dengan koefisien validitas (rxy) berkisar antara 0,007 – 0,632 danreliabilitas sebesar (α = 0,779).Hasil analisa regresi ordinal terhadap kedua variabel menunjukkan bahwahipotesis penelitian diterima yakni terdapat pengaruh tingkat religiusitas terhadappsychological wellbeing pada mahasiswa yang sedang mengerjakan skripsi (chikuadrat = 88,2 p 0,05). Selain itu psychological wellbeing dipengaruhi sebesar79,4% oleh tingkat religuistas.

Abstract

Employees who are engaged in their jobs will be more committed to the organization,are less often absent, and do not intend to leave the organization (Schaufeli, 2012). Teaching is like any other profession that requires work engagement. The factor that is often used to explain its effect on work engagement are job demands and job resources. Every teachers have to deal with job demands at work and requires job resources to support them. The aims of the study is to determine the effect of job demands and job resources on work engagement. This research was conducted on 184 teachers who teach in elementary school, junior and senior high school. Data was collected by using questionnaire forms of a UWES-9 scale and JDRS scale. The data was analyzed by ordinal regression and the result shows that job demands and job resources did not affect work engagement on teacher.

Abstract

Conflict is a condition that characterized by the pull of interests. Conflict is not always result a negative effects on the individual. Accuracy in regulating the conflict determines the effects of the conflict. Johnson Johnson (2014) divides conflict management into two major classifications, such as, constructive or destructive conflict management. The aim of the study is to know the conflict management tendence in university student. The study involved 164 college students. The measurement done with conflict management conflict scale. The results showed that subjects generally have a tendency constructive conflict management. This can be shown from the average of constructive conflict management style more than in the management destructive conflict style. It means students tend to be more able to address and deal with its conflicts well. However, after review of the differences the study period, the first year  students was a student of conflict tend to have a more destructive force than the students who entered the second or third study. It reveals that study in campus can be good for ability of conflict management.

Abstract

Religious beliefs with possession disorders have not been mentioned much in the scientific literature. This study aims to explore religious beliefs with possession disorders and how to recover. Anthropological literature examines more possessions in terms of culture. On the contrary in the clinical field, it is difficult to find literature that addresses both of these variables. The method used is a case study with semi-structured interviews for data collection. Criteria for participants are having experienced a possession disorder by PPDGJ III at least twice. Six participants met the criteria, all women. Research indicates a link between religious beliefs and possession disorders, both related to their emergence to their recovery efforts. Possession disorder occurs when the belief that there is a spirit is accompanied by the fear that cannot be controlled by the individual concerned. Prayers, spells, songs, and other are usually used in the recovery process. Emotional factors accompanying religious beliefs need to be considered in the occurrence of possession disorders.

Abstract

Persepsi kualitas pelayanan merupakan hasil interpretasi pendonor sukarelamaupun pendonor pengganti yang diberikan UDD PMI sebagai instansi kepadapendonor sebagai pelanggannya sesuai kebutuhan dengan harapan pendonormendapatkan pelayanan yang optimal dan memiliki motivasi serta ketertarikan untukmenjadi pendonor darah secara rutin dan terhimpun secara sukarela.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan persepsikualitas pelayanan antara pendonor darah sukarela maupun pendonor darah penggantidi Unit Donor Darah Palang Merah Indonesia Kabupaten Jember.Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif, dengan menggunakanteknik incidental sampling dalam pengambilan sampel. Jumlah populasi dalampenelitian ini sebanyak 220 orang pendonor dan sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 134orang terdiri dari 67 pendonor darah sukarela dan 67 orang pendonor darah penggantiyang mendonorkan darahnya secara langsung di UDD PMI Kabupaten Jember.Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan skala persepsi kualitaspelayanan, α = dengan menggunakan teknik analisa data yang digunakan adalahregresi sederhana.Hasil analisa menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan antara persepsi kualitaspelayanan pendonor darah sukarela dengan persepsi kualitas pelayanan pendonordarah pengganti, yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai t sebesar 4,576; p 0,005. Persepsikualitas pelayanan direspon secara positif sebesar 20,9 % dan 25,4 % secara negatif,dan persepsi kualitas pelayanan pada pendonor pengganti direspon sebesar 23,9 %secara positif, dan 25,4 % secara negatif.
