Abstract

Automated control of electrical devices such as lights or lighting plays an important role in energy management in various places. One of the best solutions to achieve efficiency is through automation of electrical devices. This automatic voice-based light control system uses the Arduino platform to manage the operation of lights based on user voice commands. Users only need to give voice commands such as clapping their hands to control the lights. The main purpose of this system is to facilitate interaction between users and lights, avoid the use of manual switches, and minimize the risk of short circuits. Abstract

Kabupaten karo merupakan salah satu daerah di Sumatera Utara yang mimiliki kekayaan alam, budaya. Salah satu bentuk pengembangan sektor pariwisata dan pelestarian budaya yaitu dengan dibuatnya event. Kegiatan event yang diadakan bertujuan untuk mempromosikan, memperkenalkan dan melestarikan keberagaman budaya lokal. Event masih jarang diketahui oleh Masyarakat luas karena kurangnya penyebaran informasi terkait event yang diadakan. Pemasaran pariwisata online menjadi sangat penting dalam mempromosikan destinasi wisata. Melalui website, informasi tentang event di Kabupaten Karo dapat memudahkan wisatawan untuk mendapatkan informasi event di Kabupaten Karo. Website Event yang dilengkapi dengan fitur multilanguage dapat meningkatkan promosi pariwisata ke berbagai negara. Abstract

Cyber Harassment dapat disebut juga dengan pelecehan online dapat berupa mengancam atau melecehkan melalui email, pesan instan, media sosial atau memposting informasi secara online.  Kasus ini kerap terjadi di media sosial seperti salah satunya adalah Twitter.  Untuk itu dibutuhkan  sebuah metode klasifikasi yang tepat agar mengatasi kasus  Cyber Harassment dari data Twitter. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Python dan menggunakan dua metode yaitu Naïve Bayes Classifier dan Support Vector Machine untuk membandingkan metode yang memiliki akurasi yang baik dan mengetahui kinerja metode masing-masing. Pada metode Naïve Bayes Classifier menggunakan model Complement Naïve Bayes dan Support Vector Machine menggunakan model Support Vector Classifacation (SVC). Hasil kinerja masing – masing metode dengan pembagian data trainning dan data testing yaitu 80% : 20% menunjukkan metode Naïve Bayes Classifier dengan accuracy 86.30%, precision  84.51% dan recall 87.21%. dan Support Vector Machine dengan accuracy 89.56%, precision 83.62% dan recall 94.5%. Dengan demikian metode Support Vector Machine lebih baik dari metode Naïve Bayes Classifier dan dapat diimplementasikan untuk kasus  Cyber Harassment di Twitter.

Abstract

The library is an activity of borrowing books, magazines, novels, comics, and so on. Libraries are owned by various educational units, both schools, higher education, a government. Many libraries still apply convetional business processes. Library developments that are often found. Today are in the form of digital library which are services in the field of IT &IS. So, this form a transformation model in the library, especially in bussines processes, this smart library reflectsor adopts an e- commerce where the process of borrowing & returning book is done digitally, even boo borrowed are digitalbooks that can’t be copied & downloaded by member, in this case the borrower. In this research, it has been succesfuly carried out where. The look transaction process is carried out by merchant payment tools. So, it has been projected & screened. For profit & loss in running a smart library business in a mathematic equation. Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang sangat pesat membuat masyarakat yang pada awalnya masyarakat hanya menabung uang dengan kotak penyimpanan tradisional atau biasa disebut celengan kini dengan adanya kemajuan teknologi kotak penyimpanan dapat dikembangkan menjadi kotak penyimpanan otomatis. Kotak penyimpanan uang yang dilengkapi mikrokontroller ini dapat mengenali nominal uang yang telah ditabung, memberikan informasi jumlah saldo pada tabungan hingga memiliki sistem keamanan berbasis password. Perancangan kotak penyimpanan uang berbasis mikrokontroller ini menggunakan arduino uno sebagai pengendali utama, sensor TCS3200 sebagai pendeteksi uang kertas dengan memanfaatkan nilai dari warna rgb (red, green, blue) dari masing-masing warna uang kertas dan selenoid door lock sebagai kemanan pada kotak penyimpanan. Berdasarkan pengujian yang telah dilakukan kotak penyimpanan uang berbasis mikrokontroller ini dapat membedakan dan menghitung jenis-jenis uang kertas, mampu memberikan informasi jumlah saldo pada tabungan serta dilengkapi dengan password sebagai kemanan kotak penyimpanan. Kata Kunci: Kotak penyimpanan uang, tabungan, mikrokontroller, sensor TCS3200, selenoid.

Abstract

Pakaian merupakan salah satu produk yang selalu digunakan oleh masyarakat setiap harinya. Untuk memuaskan keinginannya, setiap individu seperti berlomba-lomba pergi ke tempat perbelanjaan yang menjual pakaian. Penjahit Mas hadir ditengah-tengah masyarakat untuk dapat memenuhi keinginan masyarakat dalam menempah pakaian yang diinginkan. Masalah yang terjadi adalah Penjahit Mas hanya menunggu pelanggan datang untuk mendapatkan pemesanan pakaian tempahan dan masyarakat harus datang langsung ke Penjahit Mas untuk menempah pakaian yang diinginkan, hal ini menyebabkan Penjahit Mas tidak mendapatkan pelanggan yang banyak dan hanya memperoleh penghasilan yang sedikit. Dengan adanya sistem pemesanan pakaiantempahan berbasis web maka memberikan kemudahan Penjahit Mas dalam menerima pemesanan pakaian tempahan dan masyarakat dapat melakukan pemesanan tanpa datang langsung ke Penjahit Mas untuk menempah Pakaian yang diinginkan. Kata Kunci: Rancang Bangun, Sistem, Pemesanan, Pakaian, Tempahan, Web, Framework, Bootstrap.

Abstract

In general, official travel is travel undertaken by employees in a company that is related to official work duties. The official duties of the North Sumatra Province General Election Commission still use manual methods by recording documents in the official travel system. And they do not yet have an effective monitoring system designed to facilitate their activities, so that the official travel system does not run according to its development. The method used is waterfall because it has a design flow to find out directly the needs of the secretary, head of section, head of sub-section, treasurer to meet clear needs. With the design of this monitoring system, North Sumatra provincial KPU employees can search for official travel data easily and quickly. Abstract

Gas is a combustible mixture composed of hydrocarbon gases, comprising methane. Gases can also contain ethane, propane, butane, pentane, and also sulfur-containing gases. Basically the purpose of this research is to create a tool that can detect gas leakage and apply as an early warning by using gas sensor MQ-2, Arduino Uno as a component brain that acts as a central data processing. The combination of the Arduino Uno with the MQ-2 gas sensor and the supporting tool is a good enough tool in detecting the presence of gas in the air. The research method used in this research is prototype method. This detection tool is made using module Arduino Uno which in the program by using programming language skech and the computer as the interface. Based on the research results can be concluded that the tool designed to know the occuttence of gas leakage and gas leaked levels will be displayed on the LCD 16x2, Buzzer will sound when it has reached the danger limit. Keywords: Gas Leak Detector, Sensor MQ-2, Arduino Uno

Abstract

This research aims to explore the application of stop motion technique in teaching subnetting with Variable Length Subnet Mask (VLSM) through multimedia-based learning. Subnetting, particularly with VLSM, is often perceived as a complex and challenging topic for students in the field of computer networking. Thus, this study focuses on the development and evaluation of instructional materials that use stop motion technique to visually and interactively explain subnetting concepts. The methodology involves designing and creating stop motion videos that illustrate the steps of subnetting with VLSM. These videos are then integrated into a multimedia learning module accessible to students. The effectiveness of using stop motion videos in enhancing students' understanding and skills in subnetting is evaluated through case studies and surveys. The results indicate that the use of stop motion technique significantly facilitates clearer and more engaging comprehension of subnetting with VLSM. Students exposed to multimedia learning materials with stop motion technique demonstrate a notable improvement in their understanding and application of subnetting compared to traditional methods. The study concludes that stop motion is an effective tool in teaching networking techniques, positively impacting student engagement and learning outcomes.Keywords: stop motion, subnetting, Variable Length Subnet Mask (VLSM), multimedia learning

Abstract

The main objective of this research is to improve the quality of digital images without losing important details, such as object edges, while also developing efficient and user- friendly software for image processing. Bilateral filtering is a non-linear filtering method used to reduce noise in images while preserving edge details. This filter works by combining smoothing based on spatial proximity and pixel intensity similarity. Thus, bilateral filtering is effective in reducing noise without blurring the important edges of the image. This research develops an application that can open, process, and save digital images, allowing users to practically reduce noise in images. The results show that bilateral filtering can significantly enhance digital image quality with substantial noise reduction, although certain types of noise may require further parameter adjustments for optimal results. Keywords: Bilateral Filtering, Digital Image, Noise, Visual Basic, Image Processing.
