Abstract

PT IGASAR was one of the companies affiliated with PT Semen Padang with business activities in the fields of engineering, cement distribution, transportation, heavy equipment rental, cement-based building materials industry, manufacturing, general contractor, and developer. Some work accidents were still found in activities at this company. It was essential to making hazard identification, risk assessment, and determined the type of control in some areas. There are work accidents in PT IGASAR in as many as five cases in 2017 - 2018. One way was to use the Hazard Identification Risk Assessment Determine Control (HIRADC) Method. A risk analysis was done by looking at the opportunities and the severity of the hazards. Based on the results of the risk analysis, it was found that activities that were low risk, very high risk was absent while the medium risk was 100%. The risk control measures include the provision of personal protective equipment, the rule of safety signs, equipment maintenance, and the creation of road area boundaries.

Abstract

Abstrak. Masalah keamanan dan kerahasiaan data merupakan hal yang penting dalam suatu organisasi. Data yang bersifat rahasia tersebut perlu dibuatkan sistem penyimpanan dan pengirimannya agar tidak terbaca atau diubah oleh orang- orang yang tidak bertanggung jawab, baik saat data tersebut tersimpan sebagai file di dalam komputer maupun saat data tersebut dikirim melalui email.Sering kali masalah keamanan kurang mendapat perhatian dari pemilik berkas, perancang dan pengelola sistem informasi tersebut. Salahsatu cara mengantisipasinya adalah dengan metode kriptografi yang merupakan ilmu dan seni untuk menjaga keamanan pesan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengimplementasi sistem keamanan database dengan membangun prototipe sistem keamanan menggunakan metode Triangel Chain. Algoritma KriptografiTriangel Chain merupakan algoritma yang difungsikan untuk melakukan pengenkripsi database, sebuah data input data ASCII dapat dijaga kerahasian dari sebuah database. Adapun pengujian yang dilakukan dalampenelitian ini menggunakan databaseadalah jenis file yang berisi data teks normal tanpa tanpa format lain didalamnya. Dengan masing-masing file pengenkripsian untuk melakukan pemilihan algoritma yang digunakan dan teks sebagai kinerja dari metode algoritma enkripsi database. Hasil yang didapat aplikasi sistem keamanan berbasis visual basic dapat digunakan untuk mengamankan sistem informasi database.

Abstract

To overcome quality problems regarding product defects that occur in the company, it is necessary to do an analysis related to the problems that occur and it is necessary to plan improvements to reduce consumer returns. This study aims to analyze and plan improvement plans using the Quality Control Circle (QCC) method using Seven Tools. The Seven Tools used consist of a check sheet, run chart, histogram, scatter diagram, Pareto diagram, cause and effect diagram (fishbone diagram), and control chart. The research was conducted using the interview method with the parties involved with the object and problem. The research data taken is the company's historical data in 2020. The results show that product defects can be caused by various factors such as humans, machines, climate or weather and storage methods. The criteria for defects that often occur in the company are damaged products due to fractures, rusty products, and product sizes that do not match. It can be seen from the criteria for these defects, improvements that can be made are by providing suggestions to overcome the problem so as to reduce the returns that occur in the company.

Abstract

The small crab animal is important for the fisheries sector in Indonesia, but usually the small crab industry only takes meat and allows the crab shell to become a pile of waste.  To reduce the potential for pollution caused by a small crab shell waste, the waste can be reused to obtain chitin.  Small crab shell waste still contains quite a lot of chemical compounds, including protein, minerals (CACO), and chitin.  The study conducted chitin extraction with a process preceded by deproteination and then demineralization.  Chitin was characterized using Fourier Transform Infra Red (FTIR) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM).  The results showed that chitin was successfully extracted from the small crab shell through the deproteination and demineralization process with FTIR l, which results the characteristic spectrum of chitin compounds such as waves of 3433 cm 'for -OH, -NH groups.  The absorption around the wave number 3433 cm occurs because of the overlap between the absorption -NH and -OH and the wave number 701 cm 'for the b-1,4-glycosidic group.

Abstract

Fischer-Tropsch (FT) Synthesis has been widely known for centuries as the process of converting syngas to liquid fuels. Several reactors including Slurry bubble column, fluidized-bed, and fixed bed reactors have been used for FTS on an industrial scale. Although science has seen remarkable development in technology for FT synthesis, the industry still faces challenges in optimizations of process parameters and achieved desired selectivity.  Extensive research has been continuously conducted to seek the best FT reactor offering heat uniformity and efficient heat transfer across the reactor to increase the catalytic activity and its lifetime. Dielectric Barrier Discharge (DBD) plasma has become one of the options to deal with these issues. This reactor work under low temperature delivers a synergistic effect between plasma and catalyst to break H2 and CO bond. DBD plasma is also suitable for feedstock with high H2/CO molar ratios. It is also found that FT catalyst such as cobalt catalyst used in DBD plasma was well dispersed on the support which in turn favour the selectivity toward liquid hydrocarbon.

Abstract

Microalgae are photosynthetic microorganisms with varying cell morphology, both unicellular and multicellular (forming small colonies). This research is about CO2 for the growth of green microalgae by cultivating algal strains in tank type reactors or fermenters. The study included optimization of the productivity of green algae in the capture of CO2 which can be used as a greenhouse gas catcher. Green algae were isolated from several waters in Banda Aceh. These microalgae species are isolated and have been identified, then cultivated in irradiated tank containers with 4 fluorescent lamps (2x8 watts; 4x8 watts) installed on the outside of the tank. This study evaluated the comparison of the growth of aerated microalgae O2 (1.25 liters / minute) with fixation of CO2 (1 and 2 liters / minute). Catching CO2 into carbon dioxide by looking at growing biomass, and the yield content of oil in biomass. The results showed that there were significant differences in the growth patterns of microalgae given O2 aeration and CO2 fixation. Modified CHU 13 Detmer Modified media did not provide a significant difference to algal growth. With a large intensity of light with a medium that is sufficient to increase the growth of microalgae until it reaches the death phase.

Abstract

Education is one of the sciences that makes humans much better by learning various scientific disciplines. Al-Quran is one of the sources of knowledge that is believed by Muslims around the world. Because technology has penetrated almost every domain of our lives , including the world of education. Thus, the authors make technology as tool  for researching educational topics in Al-Quran by implementing text exploration .The research was carried out by making some basic words that were related to the subject of education as the keywords in this study. The keywords are “Ajar”, “Bicara”, “Cipta”, “Dengar”, “Ingat” and “Lihat”. Then, the authors implemented the Naïve Bayes Classifier algorithm. To test and evaluate the results, the author used two methods, i.e. recall and precision. The study results are the keyword “cipta” by 3.05 %, “Ingat” 2.25 %, “Ajar” 1.96 %,“Lihat” 0.82 %, finally “Dengar” 0.62% and “Bicara” 0.34% with  total  weight of 3,516 words that  have been filtered. The overall percentage of the results is 9.04% of the total number of words 38,761 in the Al-Quran. For the Naïve Bayes algorithm evaluation method,  the recall and precision scores are 0.605 and 0.366, respectively.

Abstract

The problems at the National Dairy Depot are sales productivity problems, regarding the assignment of workers, as well as regarding the distribution allocation network in Teluk Jambe Timur District, which consists of nine workers. The purpose of this research is to optimize the distance and time in the distribution of National Milk. The method used in the assignment of workers is the Assignment (Hungarian) method, and to optimize the distribution network allocation of milk by using the Networking (Spanning Tree) method. Using these two methods, the optimum total allocation of products sold is 1350 pieces of national milk, and the minimum distance that must be traveled by workers in distributing national milk is 39.18 Km.

Abstract

The compilation of a database of public primary school sanitation infrastructure in Rasau Jaya District is based on the 2007 Minister of Education Regulation on the standards for facilities and infrastructure of public primary schools in Indonesia. Besides, this research is also an effort to support the Kubu Raya District one data program which aims to help district governments in planning district programs so that they can be implemented properly and accurately in the field of public elementary school sanitation infrastructure. In this study direct observations to the site and conduct interviews related to the availability of primary school sanitation infrastructure. The number of public elementary schools included in the research area is 18 public elementary schools spread across 6 villages in Rasau Jaya District. The results of this study are in the form of a website-based elementary school sanitation infrastructure database which can be viewed on the website www.sigsanitasikuburaya.com. On the website, data can be seen including the availability of handwashing facilities, latrine facilities, clean water facilities, menstrual facilities, waste management facilities, and drainage facilities.

Abstract

Poverty complexity problem is a multidimensional problem, and poverty is related to various aspects of people's lives so that efforts to solve the poverty problem are not easy. This study has purpose to determine and analyze Economic accretion effect, Human development index, Open Unemployment Rate, and Labor Force Participation Rate on Poverty in North Sumatra Province. Secondary data from 2004 - 2017 is used. Data Source is from Board of Central Statistics in North Sumatra Province with testing conducted through the classic judgement exam and statistical exam. With assist of EViews 6.0 statistical data data processing software, data analysis showed that Economic Accretion and idleness Rate variables have a positive and prominent influence on α = 10%, the Human development index variable and the Labor Force Participation Rate are not prominent at α = 10%, on poverty. Regression results are R2 = 0.945055, that shows independent variable used affects dependent variable by 94.51% and the rest 5.49% is affected by other variables beyond analyzed approach.
