Abstract

To keep up with the ongoing progress in information and communication technology, the administration of academic activities at the Department of Informatics Engineering at Halu Oleo University must adjust its methods to ensure optimal efficiency and precision. An important aspect is the monitoring of lectures, which now depends on a manual approach, such as traditional methods of documenting attendance. Common problems include extended data processing time, vulnerability to data loss, and frequent recording errors. To tackle these difficulties, this work utilizes the Agile Extreme Programming approach to construct a web-based lecture monitoring system. The system is designed to streamline the process of recording and tracking professor attendance by engaging all pertinent stakeholders, such as class coordinators, lecturers, and administrators. The system offers versatility to students and professors in data management, while also allowing administrators to oversee course information, faculty members, students, and academic terms. The adoption of the Agile Extreme Programming methodology in the development of this web-based lecture monitoring system has effectively addressed the efficiency issues encountered in the lecture monitoring process at the Department of Informatics Engineering, Halu Oleo University. Adopting a web-based system has enhanced the efficiency of academic activity management by replacing manual signature-based attendance sheets. This transition has facilitated the recording of lecturer attendance and the monitoring of lectures. The research findings underwent evaluation through the black box testing methodology and produced outcomes consistent with anticipated outcomes.

Abstract

Services for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) continue to be improved by the Department of Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises (DinKopUKM) of Salatiga City. One way is to implement technology in various services. These applications need to be supported by the principle of information integration so that there is no data redundancy and dissemination of valid and reliable data is achieved. In this research, a resource server was built using RESTFul which allows third party systems to connect to product components to query information about objects and perform basic operations using the HTTP protocol. And using Oauth 2.0 is an open authorization protocol that allows third-party systems or applications via the HTTP protocol to access resources with certain access rights. This system is divided into four main parts, namely MSME actors registered in the system as resource owners, third party applications as data requesters/recipients, resource servers as resource service providers, and authorization servers which are useful for validating the identity of users and third party applications. With an integrated system, MSME players in the city of Salatiga do not need to repeat the MSME data collection process when using other information systems provided by the Salatiga city government while maintaining the security and privacy of user data.

Abstract

Today's technological advances are inseparable from the role of applications, which are software that combines certain functions and can be downloaded by users. Abundant app services are available in the Apple Store for iPhone and Play Store for Android. PT Inovasi Media, a Professional Website Development Services company, needs an application that can facilitate website development. Using Laravel's built-in Starter Framework, the company seeks to develop a Starter Framework specifically for website development, which is open source so that it can be accessed and modified by many people. The research stages involve Literature Study, Observation, Interviews, Data Collection, Design, Implementation, and Evaluation. Application design is done using UML (Unified Modelling Language) as well as user interface. Overall, the web app is open source, giving access and modification capabilities to anyone who needs it.

Abstract

PT Okta Palm Oil stands 2018 managing the earth's produce i.e. palm kernel or known as palm kernel. In the palm kernel oil industry or often referred to as palm kernel oil, quality is a very important factor for continuity in business. However, the production of palm kernel oil has always received rejection from some related companies due to the large number of qualities that do not meet the standards because the system in use is still in place. For that reason the availability of this research could help in the decision-making of palm kernels that have been eligible for further production. The aim of this research is to create decision support applications using PHP, MYSQL, XAMPP and using research and development methods i.e. potentials and problems, data collection to application testing. Testing of the system is carried out by experts, testers and by users. In order to determine the quality rate of palm kernels that have gone through the purification process, it should correspond to the standard established by the enterprise with the provision as follows: acid rate (max 5%), water rate (max 8%), dirt rate (max 8%), debris by 35%, and oil content of 51%. From the results of the research it is known that to determine the quality of the palm kernel it takes a very long process for which the availability of supporting applications this decision is considered very helpful, the result obtained is very valid where out of the 31 samples taken there are 14 that are not worthy of production and as many as 17 that are qualified for production.

Abstract

Bayu Kusuma Wholesale Store currently has problems recording transactions. Recording transactions at this grocery store uses a conventional method. Where employees record transactions on the books. This is very detrimental because the number of transactions with available stock is often manipulated. In its completion, a Point of sales technology is needed. transactions made by Bayu Kusuma Wholesale Store via WhatsApp are less effective in providing an online shopping experience. This is because the product catalog and available inventory cannot be displayed directly, making purchasing difficult for customers. In solving this problem, Android-based Point Of Sales technology is needed to record transactions and stock from stores. The Rapid Application Development method is used to solve store problems so that the system is built according to the needs of the store and completes the review of the store that occurs. The results showed that POS used to help process transactions can increase productivity and efficiency in job responsibilities. This can be seen where customers do not need to come to the store to get the product, but order first through the application then bring the item to the store and make payment in cash.

Abstract

Madrasah Aliyah Miftahussalam is one of the schools whose address is Jalan Darussalam No.26 ABC, Sei Sikambing D, Medan Petisah, Sei Sikambing D, Kec. Medan Petisah, Medan City, North Sumatra 20119. The school has a website for report card distribution, but this website is not maintained regularly, so the website used for report card distribution cannot work properly. Not only that, using the website is also confusing for both the management and users of the website. The User Centered Design method can be used to solve this problem. This is because the UCD method develops an application based on user needs and can be developed based on Android. By using Android, report distribution will be easy. The Android application will be built using Android Studio, using the Firebase database with the Kotlin language. The UCD method refers to things that are really needed by users, the information needed regarding UAS, UTS and assignment scores can be managed and accessed easily. The implementation of Firebase and Kotlin language in building Android-based applications runs well and can be used easily.

Abstract

Frequent floods in Indonesia, particularly in Palembang, South Sumatra, pose significant economic and social challenges due to land-use alterations, river overflow, and intense precipitation. The region's geographical, geological, and demographic features, compounded by global climate change, worsen the situation. Flood mapping and monitoring, utilizing satellites like Sentinel-1 with Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), are pivotal for mitigating these disasters. Sentinel-1's SAR technology aids wetland monitoring, acting as a natural water absorber and minimizing flood risks. Data from Sentinel-1, especially in VV and VH polarizations, offer profound insights into hydrological systems influencing floods. SAR efficiently comprehends Earth's environment, facilitating high-precision and rapid flood mapping using the NDFI method in Palembang. This study compares VV and VH polarizations in the NDFI algorithm to identify the most suitable polarization for accurate flood mapping. Results show VV data achieves 97.8% mapping accuracy compared to VH's 50%. The high accuracy of VV data signifies superior flood area detection. Moreover, VV's sigma0 value (backscatter) at -1.47 dB exceeds VH's approximately -20.47 dB, indicating stronger signal intensity. Hence, VV-polarized data, considering its performance, proves more effective for flood mapping.   Keywords: NDFI; Flood; Polarization; Sentinel

Abstract

One of the famous online transportation mobile applications in Indonesia is Maxim. The Maxim mobile application itself has been downloaded by 50 million users and has 1.94 million active application users in the world per week. Based on this data, an application retention rate of 3.88% per week was obtained. It can be said that the application retention rate is still low. One of the reasons for a low retention rate or a decrease in the number of loyal users is poor user experience. Therefore, analysis is needed using a user experience approach, so the user satisfaction model is an appropriate approach. This research aims to analyze user satisfaction factors for online transportation mobile applications with the adoption of the EUCS and UTAUT models. The use of this model includes the variables content, accuracy, format, ease of use, timeliness, and user satisfaction in the EUCS model with the variable performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, and behavioral intention contained in the UTAUT model. The data obtained was analyzed using the PLS-SEM technique using the SmartPLS 4 application. The results of this study stated that the variables of content, ease of use, and timeliness had a significant effect on user satisfaction, while accuracy and format had no significant effect. In addition, the variables performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and social influence have a significant effect on behavioral intention, while facilitating conditions show no significant influence on behavioral intention.

Abstract

Website kemahasiswaan berisi tentang informasi kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh kemahasiswaan seperti kegiatan UKM, kegiatan senat mahasiswa, kegiatan BEM, informasi kompetisi mahasiswa, informasi beasiswa, informasi lowongan pekerjaan, informasi prestasi mahasiswa, kegiatan mahasiswa dan lainya. masih ada beberapa mahasiswa yang kesulitan   dalam melihat informasi pada menu yang ada diwebsite seperti aktivitas mahasiswa, informasi kompetisi, proses pengajuan beasiswa yang belum dijelaskan detail tentang alur pengajuanya. Banyak informasi dari kemahasiswaan yang belum tersampaiakan dengan jelas kepada mahasiswa melalui website sehingga berdampak pada minat dan kemauan mahasiswa dalam mengikuti kegiatan kemahasiswaan. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui tingkat kepuasaan pengguna terhadap website kemahasiswaan universitas amikom purwokerto. Metode yang digunakan adalah End User Computing Satisfaction (UECS). Berdasarkan uji hipotesis yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan  ada tiga  variabel yaitu variabel easy to use, accuracy dan timeliness yang tidak  berpengaruh  terhadap  kepuasan  pengguna  website kemahasiswaan, sedangkan variabel yang lain yaitu variabel content, format dan semua variabel bersama sama berpengaruh terhadap  kepuasan  pengguna  website kemahasiswaan.
