Abstract

A certificate is a legal document that proves that someone has passed a certification exam or has taken part in certain activities. Certificates are generally issued by authorized institutions as legal evidence or recognition. However, there are several cases where certificates that should be issued by official institutions are falsified by parties who want to take advantage. This is the basis for this research to be carried out with the aim that certificates issued by the Faculty of Engineering, University of West Sulawesi can be prevented from being faked by implementing a digital signature in the form of a QRCode whose authenticity can be traced through online verification. To develop this system, this research applies the spiral method. The spiral method was chosen as a development model by considering the flexibility it offers for further development according to needs. The results of this research produce a system that can produce certificates whose validity can be traced through online verification either by searching the certificate number or using QRCode scanning. In this way, prevention of counterfeiting of certificates issued by the Faculty of Engineering, Unsulbar can be minimized.

Abstract

Langsa City is one of the cities in Aceh province which continues to experience rapid development in various fields, including transportation. Public transportation is an important element in facilitating population mobility, including those who often travel outside the city. People who often travel out of town in Langsa City face a number of problems. Limited accessibility, delays in bus departure and arrival times, as well as lack of service quality such as comfort and facilities, are factors that influence their choice in using bus services. Competitive fares and safety during travel are also important considerations. Therefore, determining the buses that are most popular with people who frequently leave the city in Langsa City is essential to increase efficiency, comfort and passenger satisfaction on long-distance trips. The research findings will provide insight into the most preferred bus transportation based on the criteria applied using the WASPAS and TOPSIS methods. These two methods will later be used to determine the buses that are most popular with the people of Langsa City based on predetermined criteria such as ticket price, distance traveled, passenger capacity, speed and comfort. By using these two methods, it is hoped that we can obtain more accurate and reliable results in determining the public transportation that is most popular with the people of Langsa City.

Abstract

Addressing the challenge of predicting earthquake-induced building damage, this study proposes the innovative use of Deep Neural Networks (DNN) as a solution. Focusing on optimizing predictive models, the research evaluates the effectiveness of various optimizers - ADAM, SGD, RMSprop, and Adagrad - coupled with adjustments in the learning rate to determine the most efficient configuration. The experiment was conducted to compare the performance of each optimizer in predicting post-earthquake building damage, a critical issue in disaster mitigation. The results demonstrate that ADAM significantly outperforms other optimizers, achieving the highest accuracy of up to 90.50% at a learning rate of 0.001, with RMSprop as its closest competitor. While SGD and Adagrad yielded lower accuracies, SGD showed improvement with higher learning rates. The variance analysis confirmed that the choice of optimizer significantly impacts model performance, with the p-value indicating strong statistical significance for optimizers (1.23E-09), whereas the learning rate had no significant impact (p-value 0.56098964). These findings underline the importance of selecting the appropriate optimizer to enhance the accuracy of DNN models for building damage prediction, a crucial aspect in emergency response planning and earthquake disaster mitigation efforts. This research contributes significantly to the development of more accurate predictive models, which are essential in minimizing the risks of earthquake disasters.

Abstract

In order to obtain the target of Complete Basic Immunization (IDL), puskesmas (public health centers) in the sub-district of Duren Palm need to improve immunization services and data collection for infants and baduta (two-year-old babies). However, in the process of collecting data and grouping immunization data on infants and under-fives there are obstacles, because the data is too much to process so it takes a long time in grouping which puskesmas have reached the IDL target and which have not reached the IDL target, this makes the process ineffective and efficient. Seven Puskesmas in Duren Sawit sub-district will be divided into three groups, consisting of Puskesmas with high, medium, and low immunization targets. K-means clustering is the method used in this research, k-means clustering is a distance-based clustering algorithm, exclusively works on numeric attributes and divides data into several groups. The final results obtained using this method are in the final results of Clustering immunization targets in infants, there are three puskesmas that get a high predicate and four puskesmas that get a medium predicate. In the final results of Clustering immunization targets in under-fives, there are six health centers with high predicates and only one health center with moderate predicates. With the information system classification of infant and under-five immunization target data at Web-based health centers, it can simplify and speed up data processing and data grouping so that it becomes effective and efficient.

Abstract

The public library is a common facility with thousands of book collections. In public libraries, visitors often encounter difficulties in finding the books they desire, and it's not uncommon for them to leave without locating their desired reads. To address this issue, the researcher proposes a system that includes book information and analytical tools to determine the most favored books in the library. In this study, the researcher applies the ROC and MOORA methods to develop a Decision Support System (DSS) for identifying the most preferred book choices, enabling the library to acquire books based on visitors' preferences. Four criteria are considered: book genre, number of book borrowings, popularity, and book availability. Testing is conducted by comparing six book data sets, with the research revealing that alternative data A1 "Katak Hendak Menjadi Lembu," is the most favored choice among library visitors, with a preference score of yi = 0.55. The results of this research can provide convenience for visitors in searching for books, thereby enhancing the quality of services and the availability of books in the library.

Abstract

LinkedIn functions as a job search site. LinkedIn users are spread across various regions of Indonesia including Palembang City. Based on ratings on the Play Store, LinkedIn has the lowest rating compared to similar job search applications and a search on LinkedIn by entering Palembang City as a location shows the number of users in Palembang City is lower than other cities. In user reviews there are complaints about verification issues that cause displeasure and rejection of the use of this application. To find out what factors influence acceptance and use of LinkedIn, it is necessary to analyze these factors. This research was conducted by testing several constructs in the UTAUT 2 model. The data analysis technique used is the PLS-SEM analysis approach. The results showed that facilitating conditions, hedonic motivation, and habit affect behavioral intention. On the other hand, facilitating conditions and habit affect use behavior.

Abstract

Raja banana (Musa paradisiaca L.) is a banana cultivar commonly enjoyed in Indonesia. In addition to being consumed as a fresh fruit, Pisang Raja is often processed into various banana-based foods, such as banana chips, fried bananas, banana fritters, and other banana products. For farmers, post-harvest sorting of Pisang Raja requires a significant amount of time and effort. Therefore, a system is needed to assist farmers and the community in general to determine the ripeness level of Pisang Raja fruit more efficiently and clearly. The classification process of Pisang Raja fruit ripeness levels is carried out through precision calculations in a system, using a dataset consisting of 300 images covering 3 types of Pisang Raja ripeness levels. The classification process for the ripeness levels of Pisang Raja fruit utilizes the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) method with the TensorFlow module for training and testing data. Based on experimental results, the accuracy in classifying the ripeness levels of Pisang Raja fruit reaches a value of 95%."

Abstract

Netflix is a movie streaming media platform that has been used by millions of internet users around the world, including in Indonesia. However, based on user reviews on the Play Store, there are still many users who give poor ratings to the Netflix Mobile application, causing a decrease in rating from 4.3 to 3.8. The purpose of this study is to determine how satisfied users are with the Netflix Mobile application using the End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) method with five variables, namely Content, Accuracy, Format, Ease of Use and Timeliness, then the results of the study can later be used as a priority for improvement so that the rating goes up and can be an evaluation material for improving the Netflix Mobile application in the future. Likert scale measurements and questionnaires were used to obtain data for this study, the analysis results of this study show that the variable that has the lowest satisfaction with a value of 74.85% is the Accuracy variable. Therefore, the Netflix Mobile application needs to develop the accuracy of its application performance system in order to minimize errors and always present correct and accurate film information.

Abstract

The demand for vaccines for toddlers at the Rasmi Pekan Bahorok Clinic is currently considered not optimal. There is still a tendency to buy vaccines excessively, which results in the accumulation of vaccine stocks in storage. This increases the risk that the vaccine will become ineffective because it has passed its expiration date, while if the number of immunization vaccines is reduced, it could result in a shortage of vaccines for children. The lack of a proper calculation process to determine vaccine needs often results in errors in estimating the amount needed. As a result, vaccine stock at the Rasmi Pekan Bahorok Clinic is currently unstable. This situation is a problem at the clinic, so it is necessary to implement a forecasting system to calculate the vaccine stock that will be available each following month. To deal with this problem, it is necessary to forecast or predict to understand the situation in the future using past data. This can help in managing vaccine stocks to remain stable and optimize company operations. Therefore, a system was developed that can predict the number of vaccines needed. This system is expected to assist in decision making to resolve problems that arise. The methods used in this information system include the Trend Projection method and the Triple Exponential Smoothing method.
