Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research are to know: 1) the students' ability in writing skripsi, 2) the errors that made by students in writing skripsi. This research use descriptive qualitative method. The data were collected by documentation method. In technique of checking trustworthiness of data the researcher used triangulation. The results of this study are 1) the students ability in writing skripsi at the students of English language education program in Institut Pendidikan Tapanuli Selatan is very good, with the average score 85, 2) the students made errors in writing content is 8 (6.6%), writing organization is 0 (0%), using vocabulary is 3 (2.4%), mastering grammars is 16 (13.2%), and using mechanics is 93 (76.8%). From calculated the data, error of mechanics are the most frequent errors done by students with the percentage 76.8% and the lower percentage is vocabulary with the percentages 3 (2.4%). Abstract

Abstract : The aim of this research are to know: 1) the application of concept sentence model on teaching writing Recount Text ability, 2) the students writing recount text ability before and after using concept sentence model, 3) Whether there is any significant effect of concept sentence model on teaching writing recount text ability at the Eighth Grade Students of SMP Negeri 3 Satu Atap Sosorgadong. This research uses experimental method with pre-experimental design by using one-group pretest and posttest design. The populations of this research are all of the VIIIA grade students’ of SMP Negeri 3 Satu Atap Sosorgadong which consist of 71 students. Sample were VIII A which consist of 22 students which taken by purposive sampling. In collecting the data the researcher uses observation sheet and test as a composition test. The result of this research: 1) the application of concept sentence model was 3.8, it is categorized “Very Good”. 2) The mean score of the students’ writing recount text ability was 45 and it was categorized “fail”. Meanwhile, after using complete sentence model is 81, it is categorized “good”. The result of data analysis shows that ttest is higher than ttable (ttest 17.74> ttable 2.08). So, the hypothesis is accepted. It means that, there is any significant effect of concept sentence model on students’ writing recount text ability at the VIII A grade students of SMP N 3 Satu Atap Sosorgadong. Keywords: Concept Sentence Model, Writing Recount Text Ability Abstrak : Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: 1) Penggunaan dari concept sentence model terhadap kemampuan siswa menulis, 2) kemampuan siswa menulis sebelum dan setelah menggunakan concept sentence model, 3) Apakah ada pengaruh yang signifikan dari concept sentence model terhadap kemampuan siswa menulis di kelas delapan SMP Negeri 3 Satu Atap Sosorgadong. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental. Populasi dari penelitian ini semua kelas delapan yang terdiri 71 siswa dan sampel terdiri dari 22 siswa dengan menggunaka porposive sampling. Dalam pengumpulan data, peneliti menggunakan lembar observasi. Instrument yang digunakan adalah observasi dan test adalah tes komposisi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah 1) penggunaan concept sentence model adalah 3.8, dikategorikan “sangat baik”. 2) Nilai rata-rata siswa sebelum menggunakan concept sentence model adalah 45, dikategorikan “gagal”. Sementara setelah menggunakan concept sentence model adalah 81, dikategorikan “baik”. 3) Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa ttest lebih besar daripada ttable (ttest 17.74>ttable 2.08). Jadi, hipotesis diterima. Ini berarti ada pengaruh yang signifikan dari concept sentence model terhadap kemampuan siswa menulis di kelas delapan SMP Negeri 3 Satu Atap Sosorg/adong. Abstract

The aims of this research are to know: 1) the extent of the application of frayer model on students’vocabulary mastery, 2) the extent of the students’ vocabulary mastery before and after taught by using frayer model, 3) whether is any significant effect of frayer model on students’ vocabulary mastery at the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Lembah Sorik Marapi. The population of this research is all of the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Lembah Sorik Marapi which consist of 85 students. Sample were 28 students which taken by using purposive sampling. The research method that used was experimental method. To collect the data the researcher used observation sheet and testan multiple choice as an instrument. The mean score of the application of frayer model was 3.21 categorized “Very good”. The students' vocabulary mastery before using the Frayer Model was 55.39 and was included in the "Less" category. Meanwhile, the students' vocabulary mastery with the Inner Model Division was 73.64 and was included in the "good" category.The result of data analysis shows that ttest11.74 while ttable2.05. It means that ttest is bigger than ttable. So, the hypothesis was accepted. It means that there is any significant effect of frayer model on students’ vocabulary mastery at the eighth grade studentsof SMP Negeri 1 Lembah Sorik Marapi.

Abstract

Taking wudhu’ means draines water to certain body organs as commanded by Allah Swt and His Prophet Rosulullah Saw whereas language means using one of the organs of the body as the vocal cards as explained in the previous language discussion before, they are ear in listening, mouth in speaking or head and face organs hands and will be given a reaction that will involved movement of the whole body including the two feets. All organs of the body that will be used in language specifically are also organs that must be cleaned in implementation of the taking wudhu’. That’s way, people who actually take wudhu’, people who often keeps wudhu’ and people who stay in wudhu’ will bring peace and luck to themselves and other people in their environment while they are taking communication and interactions.

Abstract

The research focuses on students’ preposition use on writing recount text. The problems of this research are students misuse preposition and confuse of using preposition in writing recount text. The reasons are students are lack of vocabulary, comprehension and preposition understanding in use on writing recount text. It is qualitative research which uses descriptive method. Source of data of this research is students of MAS Baharuddin - Batang Angkola - Tapanuli Selatan in class XI IPA, and there are 29 students. The instrument of this research is essay writing. Finally, the result of this research is students did the error on preposition use in writing recount text, were in omission, addition, misformation and misordering. The number of omission error was 7 items error. The number of addition error was 16 items error. The number of misformation error was 27 items error. The number of disordering error was 6 items error. Total all of the error were 56 item error. Researcher concluded that dominant error made by students in using preposition in writing recount text was in misformation category with the percentage 48, 2%. Abstract

ABSTRACT: The result of this research: 1) The application of modelling the way strategy on students can be seen from 16 aspects observed by the observer the total score was 48 and the average was 3 it was “Good” categorized. It mean that the writer using modelling the way strategy on writing procedure text is well, 2) The students writing procedure text before and after using modelling the way strategy. It can be seen from the students’ frequency before using modelling the way strategy was on 44.09 or 10 students, it was categories “Fail” and after using modelling the way strategy was 69.13 or 9 students, these were categories “Enough”, 3) There is any significant effect of modelling the way strategy on students writing procedure text ability. Normality test shows that sig value 0.039>0.05 pretest and posttest 0.027>0.05. Homogeneity Test shows that the value of (Sig.) of the pretest 0.346>0.05 it means that the sample variances is homogenuous. Pair sample ttest that significant value was less than 0.05 (0.000<0.05). So, Ha is accepted. It means that there is any significant of using modelling the way strategy on students writing procedure text ability at the eleventh grade of MAS Al-Abraar Siondop Julu. Abstract

Abstract:The aims of this research are to know: 1) The extent of the using comic strips in teaching writing short story, 2) the students’ writing short story ability before and after using comic strips, 3) Whether any significant effect of using comic strips on students’ in writing short story at tenth gradeof SMA Swasta Ma’arif Pasar Sorkam.The population of this research was all of the tenth grade students’ of SMA Swasta Ma’arif Pasar Sorkam which consist of 68 students. Sample were 22 students which taken by using purposive sampling. The research method that used was experimental method with the pre-experimental design by using one group pre-test and post-tes design. To collect the data the writer used observation sheet and test as an instrument. The result of this research: 1) the application of comic strips was 3.71, it was categorized “Very good”, 2) the mean score of the students’ writing short story ability was55 and it was categorized “Bad”. Meanwhile, after using comic strips was 79,5 it is categorized “Good”. The result of data analysis shows that ttest=13.11 while ttable=2.08. it means that ttest is higher than ttable. So, the hypothesis is accepted. It means that, there is significant effect of using Comic Strips on students’ ability in writing short story at the tenth grade students’SMA Swasta Ma’arif Pasar Sorkam in 2020/2021 Academic Year.

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research are to know: 1) the application of think-talk-write(TTW) model on teaching writing descriptive text ability, 2) students writing descriptive text ability before and after using think-talk-write(TTW) model, 3) whether there any significant effect of think-talk-write(TTW) model on teaching writing descriptive text ability at the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Satu Atap Sosorgadong. This research uses experimental method with the pre-experimental design by using one-group pretest and posttest design. The population of this research was all of the VIII grade students’ of SMP Negeri 3 Satu Atap Sosorgadong which consist of 71 students. Sample were VIII A which consist of 22 students which taken by purposive sampling. In collecting the data the researchers uses observation sheet and test as an instruments. The result of this r esearch: 1) the application of think-talk-write(TTW) model was 3.7, it was categorized “Very Good”. 2) the mean score of the students’ writing descriptive text ability was 51 and it was categorized “ Bad”. Meanwhile, after using think-talk-write(TTW) model was 77 it is categorized “ Good”. The result of data analysis shows that ttest was higher that ttable(ttest 12.38>ttable 2.08). So. The hypothesis was accepted. It means that, there is any significant effect of think-talk-write(TTW) model on students’ writing descriptive text ability at the VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Satu Atap Sosorgadong in 2020/2021 Academic Year.

Abstract

The purpose of this research are to found out: 1) The application of means –ends analysis model on students’ reading comprehension of recount text, 2) The students’ reading comprehension of recount text ability before and after using means –ends analysis model, 3) whether there is any significant effect of means –ends analysis model on students’ reading comprehension of recount text ability at the Eighth Grade of SMP Swasta Keluarga Siambaton Napa Manduamas.This research uses experimental method with the pre-experimental design by using one-group pretest and posttest design. The population of this research is all the VIII Grade students’of SMP Swasta Keluarga Siambaton Napa Manduamas which consist of 70 students and the samples were 20 students gotten by using porposive sampling. In collecting the data, the researcher used observation sheet. Instrument of the research was observation and test was composition test. The result of the research are 1) application of means –ends analysis model was 3.8, it was categorized “very good”. 2) The mean score of the students’ before using means –ends analysis model was 35, it was categorized “bad”. Meanwhile after using mens –ends analysis model was 85, it was categorized “good”. 3) The result of analysis showed that ttest is bigger than ttable (ttest10.2> ttable 2.05). So, the hypothesis was accepted. It means that there is any significant effect of means –ends analysis model on students’ raeding comprehension of recount text ability at the VIII Grade of SMP Swasta Keluarga Siambaton Napa Manduamas.

Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this research are to find out: 1) The application of ESA Method on students’ vocabulary mastery, 2) The students’ Vocabulary mastery before and after using ESA Method, 3) whether there is any significant effect of ESA Method on students’ vocabulary mastery at the seventh Grade of MTS SwastaDarulAkhirohBonandolok.This research uses experimental method with the pre-experimental design by using one-group pretest and posttest design. The population of this research is all the VII Grade students’of MTS SwastaDarulAkhirohBonanDolokby using total sampling. In collecting the data, the researcher used observation sheet. Instrument of the research was observation and test was composition test. The result of the research are 1) application of ESA Methodwas 3.6, it was categorized “very good”. 2) The mean score of the students’ before using ESA Methodl was 26,07 it was categorized “bad”. Meanwhile after using ESA Method was 53,5. The result of analysis showed that ttest is bigger than ttable (ttest19.80>ttable 2.05). So, the hypothesis was accepted. It means that there is any significant effect of ESA method on students’ vocabulary mastery at the seventh grade of MTS SwastaDarulAkhirohBonanDolok.
