Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this research are to find out : 1) the extent of application of board game method on students’ writing descriptive text skill at the seventh grade of MTs Darul Akhiroh Marancar. 2) the extant of the students’ writing descriptive text skill before and after using board game method on students’ writing descriptive text skill at the seventh grade of MTs Darul Akhiroh Marancar, 3) whether there is any significant effect of board game method on students’ writing descriptive text skill at the seventh grade of MTs Darul Akhiroh Marancar. The population of this research all of the sevenht grade of MTs Darul Akhiroh Marancar consist of 27 students. The sample was 27 students which are taken by total sampling. The research method is used by experimental method. Then, the data collected by using the observation sheet and test. The instrument used is essay. The calculation of t-test formula is higher than score of t-table. The score of t test is 2.2 meanwhile the score of t table is 2,06 at 5 % significant level with (df) 26. And the hypothesis is accepted. It means that there is a significant effect of board game method on students’ writing descriptive text skill at the seventh grade of MTs Darul Akhiroh Marancar in 2020/2021 academic year. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII MTs Darul Akhiroh Marancar yang terdiri dari 27, teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah total sampling dengan jumlah 27 siswa. Metode penelitian digunakan adalah ekperimental method. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observation sheet dan tes sebagai instrument. Nilai rata-rata dari penerapan board game method adalah 3.6, dengan kategori “ Sangat Baik”. peneliti menganalisis data menggunakan ttest formula, hasil ttest = 2.2 sedangkan ttable = 2.06. Dengan kata lain ttest lebih besar dari ttable. Jadi, hipotesis diterima. Artinya ada pengaruh yang signifikan dari board game method dalam penguasaan penulisan siswa pada kelas VII MTs Darul Akhiroh Marancar. Kata Kunci : Board Game, Writing Descriptive

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research are to know: 1) the application of GIST Strategy on teaching reading comprehension of narrative text, 2) the students reading comprehension of narrative text before and after using GIST Strategy, 3) Whether there is any significant effect of GIST Strategy on teaching reading comprehension of narrative text at the tenth Grade of SMA Negeri 1 Padangbolak. This research uses experimental method with the pre-experimental design by using one-group pretest and posttest design. The population of this research was all of the tenth grade students’ of SMA Negeri 1 Padangbolak which consist of 172 students. Sample were X MIA2 which consist of 30 students taken by purposive sampling. In collecting the data the researchers uses observation sheet and test as an instrument. The result of this research: 1) the application of GIST strategy was 3.5, it is categorized “Very Good”. 2) The mean score of the students’ reading comprehension of narrative text before and after using GIST strategy was 43 and it was categorized “fail” and after was 75, it is categorized “good”. The result of data analysis shows that ttest was higher than ttable (ttest18.8>ttable2.04). So, the hypothesis was accepted. It means that, there is any significant effect of GIST Strategy on students’ Reading comprehension of narrative text at the Tenth grade of SMA Negeri 1 Padangbolak. Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this research is to find: 1)the application of simulation technique. 2) the students’ speaking ability before and after using simulation technique. 3) the significant effect of simulation technique on students’ speaking ability at the IX grade of SMP Negeri 2 Angkola Selatan. Method of the research is experimental. The population of this research are all of the ninth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Angkola Selatan. The consist 123students. Purposive sampling technique was uses to get a sample the consist 30 students. The technique for collecting data by observation sheet and giving test. The result of the application of Simulation Technique is 3.7, categorized “Very Good”.The result before using Simulation Technique 36.3, categorized “Fail”. While the students’ speaking ability after Simulation Technique is 65.1, categorized “Enough”. T-test is 12.85 and t-table is 2.04 it means that there is a significant effect of using Simulation Technique on students’ speaking ability at the ninth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Angkola Selatan 2020/2021 Academic Year) Keyword: Simulation Technique, Technique, Speaking

Abstract

Abstract: The objectives of this research is to know there is a significant effect of board race game on students’ vocabulary mastery at tenth grade students of SMK Negeri 1 Sipirok. This research uses experimental method with pre-experimental research design; one group pre-test post-test design. The population is all of the tenth grade students which consist of 160 students. Technique sampling that used on this research is cluster sampling and the number of the sample consists of 28 students. In collecting the data, the researcher uses observation sheet to get the data of the application of board race game and test to get the data of the students’ vocabulary mastery. The researcher uses statistic process in analyzing by using t test formula. Based on the data that had been analyzed, the result of data analyzing showed that t count is higher than t table (t count 2.99 > t table 2.05). So, the hypothesis is accepted. It means that there is a significant effect of board race game on students’ vocabulary mastery at tenth grade students of SMK Negeri 1 Sipirok. Keywords: board race game, vocabulary mastery. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada sebuah pengaruh yang signifikan dari board race game terhadap penguasaan kosakata siswa di kelas sepuluh SMK Negeri 1 Sipirok. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan rancangan penelitian pre-experimental; one group pre-test post-test design. Populasi penelitian terdiri dari 160 siswa di kelas tujuh. Tehnik penarikan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penarikan sampel cluster sampling dan jumlah sampel terdiri dari 28 siswa. Dalam pengumpulan data, peneliti menggunakan lembar observasi untuk menjaring data dari pengaplikasian board race game dan tes untuk menjaring data mengenai pencapaian pada penguasaan kosakata. Peneliti menggunakan proses statistic dalam analisis data, yaitu rumus tes t. Berdasarkan data yang telah di analisis, hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa t hitung lebih besar daripada t table (t hitung 2.99 > t table 2.05). Jadi, hipotesis diterima. Hal ini berarti ada sebuah pengaruh yang signifikan dari board race game terhadap penguasaan kosakata siswa di kelas sepuluh SMK Negeri 1 Sipirok. Kata Kunci: board race game, vocabulary mastery.

Abstract

Abstract: Al-Mulk is a surah in holy Al-Quran within utterances, phrases and even sentences which are created from words and its combinations. Here, the researcher has got attention on words name Pronoun of Arabic to research. The researcher tries to get seven kinds of Pronoun in Al- Mulk, then identify, mean, and describe. Thus, it will be supported by qualitative research method with content analysis. Abstract

Islam is one of the international religion because the followers can be found most of in every country in the world, so Al-quran is the holy book (kibatulloh) of the Islam so Al-quran is the one of the internation religion. Al-quran stated by Alloh swt in Arabic language, Al-quran contents all found in world means all things in the universe. All its followers obligated to study, to know the content and obligated to obey or to do the messages in it because the Al-quran orders its followers own good character means the best refferencer for the good character can be seen in Al-quran. Every follower has to spend his/her time to study, to read, to master the messages in Al-qur’an so a wise follower in Islam religion in some one who can integrigate his/her all activities with Al-quran. Because of Al-quran stated only in Arabic language it need to translated in many languages in the world as in Indonesia and English so that the followers who can not master Arabic can understand what is said in Al-quran. So an English teacher who can integrate each mathery in the English curriculum to the Al-quran can be said a wise teacher, the wise teacher missed by all students no exception to the English teacher.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berawal dari permasalahan dalam keterampilan berbicara pada pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris di kelas VII.2 SMP Negeri 7 Lubuk Basung, dimana sebagian besar siswa siswa memiliki kemampuan yang rendah dalam berbicara Bahasa Inggris, baik dari pelafalan, tata bahasa (grammar) dan kosa kata (vocabulary). Oleh karena itu, untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris diterapkan Metode Paired Storytelling pada siswa kelas VII.2 SMP Negeri 7 Lubuk Basung. Hasil penelitian dari setiap siklus pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris yang telah dilaksanakan di kelas VII.2 SMP Negeri 7 Lubuk Basung menggunakan Metode Paired Storytelling menunjukkan adanya peningkatan baik proses pembelajaran maupun hasil belajar keterampilan berbicara siswa. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari pencapaian siswa dalam pembelajaran, dimana pada siklus I hasil belajar keterampilan berbicara siswa baru mencapai ketuntasan 58% dengan nilai rata-rata 69, sedangkan pada siklus II menunjukkan peningkatan cukup tinggi dengan ketuntasan 87,5% dan nilai rata-rata 81. Dapat disimpulkan penggunaan Metode Paired Storytelling dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris di VII.2 SMP Negeri 7 Lubuk Basung.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The aim of this research are to know: 1) the application of estafet writing on teaching writing procedure text ability, 2) the students writing procedure text ability before and after using estafet writing , 3) Whether there is any significant effect of estafet writing on teaching writing procedure text ability at the twelve Grade Students of SMKS TI Putra Harapan 2. This research uses experimental method with the pre-experimental design by using one-group pretest and posttest design. The population of this research was all of the XII grade students’ of SMKS TI Putra Harapan 2 which consist of 37 students. Sample were XII TKJ which consist of 22 students which taken by purposive sampling. In collecting the data the researchers uses observation sheet and test as an instrument. The result of this research: 1) the application of Estafet writing was 3.4, it is categorized “Very Good”. 2) the mean score of the students’ writing procedure text ability was 50,83 and it was categorized “fail”. Meanwhile, after using complete sentence model was 81,3, it is categorized “good”. The result of data analysis shows that ttest was higher than ttable (ttest 23,28> ttable 2.08). So, the hypothesis was accepted. It means that, there is any significant effect of estafet writing on students’ writing procedure text ability at the XII grade students of SMKS TI Putra Harapan 2. Abstract

The purposes of this research are to find out: 1) The application of The Power of Two Strategy in teaching reading news item text. 2) Students’ reading news item text before and after using the power of two strategy. 3) Whether significant effect of using the power of two strategy at the twelfth grade students of Mas Al-Abraar. Method of the research is experimental. The populations of this research are all the twelfth grade students of Mas Al-Abraar that consist of 45 students. Purposive sample is used to get the sample of the research, the sample consist of 45 students. The techniques of collecting data are observation sheet and test. The result of the application of the power of two strategy is 3.44 categorized ”Very Good”. Before using the power of two 43 categorized “Fail”. Meanwhile, after using the power of two strategy is 79 categorized “good”. The result of ttest 8,95 and ttable 2.02 it means that there is significant effect of using the power of two strategy on students of Mas Al-Abraar in 2020/2021 academic year. Hasil penerapan power of two strategy adalah 3,44 dengan kategori “Sangat Baik”. Sebelum menggunakan power of two strategy 43 dikategorikan "Gagal". Sedangkan setelah menggunakan kekuatan power of two strategy 79 dikategorikan “baik”. Abstract

Abstract: The purposes of this research are to know: 1) the application of chain drill technique in teaching speaking ability, 2) the students ’speaking ability before and after using chain drill technique, 3) Whether there is any significant effect of chain drill technique on teaching speaking ability at the eleventh grade students of MAS Al-Abraar. This research uses experimental method with the pre-experimental design by using one-group pretest and posttest design. The population of this research was all of the XI grade students’ of MAS Al-Abraar which consist of 32 students. Sample were also which consist of 32 students which taken by total sampling. In collecting data the researcher uses oral test and observation sheet as an instrument. The result of this research is: 1) the application of chain drill technique was 3.6, it was categorized “Very Good”. 2) the mean score of the students’ speaking ability before using chain drill technique was 50.32 and it was categorized “fail”. Meanwhile, after using chain drill technique was 71.5, it is categorized “Good”. The result of data analysis shows that ttest was higher than ttable (ttest 14.17 > ttable 2.03). So, the hypothesis was accepted. It means that, there is a significant effect of chain drill technique on students’ speaking ability at the eleventh grade students of MAS Al-Abraar in 2020/2021 academic year. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan rancangan penelitian pre eksperimental: one group pre-test post-test design. Jumlah populasi terdiri dari 32 siswa dan juga jumlah sampel 32 dengan menggunakan teknik total sampling. Dalam pengumpulan data peneliti menggunakan tes lisan dan lembar observasi sebagai instrument. Hasil dari penelitian yaitu: 1) penggunaan tekhnik chain drill mendapat nilai 3.6 yang dikategorikan “sangat baik”, 2) nilai rata-rata siswa dalam kemampuan berbicara sebelum menggunakan tekhnik chain drill adalah 50.32 dan dikategorikan “gagal”. Sedangkan, setelah penggunaan tekhnik chain drill nilai kemampuan siswa dalam berbicara adalah 71.5 dan dikategorikan “Bagus”. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ttest lebih tinggi dari ttble (ttest14.17>ttable2.03). hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis diterima. Dan menunjukkkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan dari penggunaan tekhnik chain drill terhadap kemampuan berbicara siswa di kelas XI MAS Al-Abraar Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021.
