Abstract

With the goverment of the Batu city in 2014, budgeted used source to tandon, the following tandon temporary shelter who are in the way of Dr. Sutomo with a capacity of 72 meters cubic, be distributed to four a ham let which each hamlet have tub shelter wiht dimensions in accordance needs. Existing souarce possess the capacity dischange 24 liters/seconds, with survey the population of water users in 2014 until 2016. Abstract

One source of essential oil that has long been popular is a citrus fruit (Citrus aurantium). Results waste citrus peel around 500,000 tonnes per year. So the prospects for the utilization of waste orange peel are big enough to extract the essential oil. However, conventional extraction methods have drawbacks in terms of product quality, so to find solutions to these shortcomings, it is necessary to use the extraction method by Microwave Hydrodiffusion and Gravity (MHG). This method combines the use of microwave heating and physical phenomena (hydrodiffusi and earth gravity) at atmospheric pressure, without addition of organic solvents or water. In this study used fresh orange peel material 400 and 500 grams, two variable microwave power of 100 and 300 Watt and the extraction time for 15, 30, 45 and 60 minutes. To know the processing time and the microwave power effective method of MHG, oil composition was analyzed by GCMS to determine the amount of the fraction of oxygenated compounds. The larger of installed microwave power, the higher of operating temperature, so the %yield increases in a shorter time. From the comparison of energy consumed, the MHG method is give 30% more energy efficient than the Microwave Hydrodistillation (MHD) method. The use of microwaves does not change the physical properties of oil. The oil produced from the MHG method has a good quality because it has specific gravity and refractive index values that meet the EOA quality standard and has a greater oxygenated compounds content than the MHD method

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the water flow, water requirement, water quality and satisfaction of society Subdistrict Sumbermanjing Wetan Malang Regency, analyze the effect of water flow, water requirement and water quality to the satisfaction of the people Subdistrict Sumbermanjing Wetan Malang Regency and to analyze between variable water flow, need for water and the water quality of the dominant influence on society satisfaction District of Sumbermanjing Wetan Malang Regency. The population in this study is the whole society Sumbermanjing Wetan District of Malang, amounting to 100.065 people. The number of samples in this study as many as 100 people. The sampling technique used in this study is simple random sampling. The analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis, F test and t test. Discharge water, water needs and water quality simultaneously significant effect on public satisfaction District of Sumbermanjing Wetan Malang Regency. This shows that the discharge of water plays a role in improving people's satisfaction and the better its water needs can lead to increasing people's satisfaction, as well as water quality perceived by the society of water is odorless, colorless, tasteless and tasted fresh able to increase community satisfaction. Discharge water, water needs and water quality is partially significant effect to the satisfaction of the District community Sumbermanjing Wetan Malang Regency. Water quality is dominant compared to variable water flow and water needs, which means that the main thing to consider in achieving the people's satisfaction is the quality of the water.

Abstract

Sidomulyo is one of the tourist village in Batu own icon in the form of decorative flower and cut flowers. Sidomulyo offer views expanse of flowers of various kinds and colors. This tourist village has been supported by various facilities including lodging, restaurants, to shops that sell souvenirs. Sidomulyo also quite strategic location, not far from the city center and is close to other tourist attractions in Kota Batu. Sidomulyo faced with the lack of the number of visitors who enjoy the beauty of the village, visitors or tourists are mostly just a quick stop just to buy flowers. The purpose of this study was to determine the potential and problems in the village Sidomulyo. The method used is descriptive and qualitative. The final result of this study is the potential and the problems associated with the Sidomulyo village owned tourist attraction, accessibility, tourism facilities, market potential, human resources, and information and promotion.

Abstract

Malang city is the second big city after Surabaya City in East Java with tourist potential and its economy is growing. The activities such as malls, markets, parks, campuses, tourist areas, office activities and other activities are factors that make this street has a solid activity resulting transportation problems one bottleneck that resulted in road capacity has declined, Survey or research used method of retrieval Data with Manual Method Counter at Sunan Kalijaga Street, Dinoyo Village, Lowokwaru District, Malang City for the purpose of calculating the value of the traffic volume, speed, capacity and level of service is to conduct a survey for 6 days (starting at 06.00 am – 21.00 pm) and the data obtained from the survey of traffic volume, vehicle speed and road geometric data were then analyzed using the Indonesian Highway Capacity Manual (IHCM) 1997. Based on the analysis, peak hour volume on Sunan Kalijaga Street was 1887 pcu / h, the average speed (V) is 75.784 m / sec, a capacity of 1262, 77 and the level of service (LOS) is F.

Abstract

This study expects Mapping Critical Area of Irrigation Land in UPTD Pujon to determine the criticality of the watershed is in the context of decision making related to issues of conservation and watershed management, especially in the handling of the floods and damage to watersheds in order to maintain food security . The purpose of this study is the availability of topographic maps, land cover map, prone to flooding map, Critical Areas Map UPTD Pujon Territory. Results from this study is the existence of maps and data as well as information related to critical areas and disaster-prone of districts in Malang, especially the working area UPTD SDA and Irrigation of Pujon. The research method used 1. Assessment Analysis of disaster prone regions namely climatic conditions, from the monthly climatological data that include wind speed, temperature, humidity, solar radiation and daily rainfall data. Assessment is for the provision of value in the slope class, soil texture class, the land cover and rainfall class. Weighting is giving value for each parameter influenced. 2. Analysis of the level of vulnerability and the risk of flooding to the determination of the value of vulnerability and risk of an area against floods. The results of this study can be found in the area of critical land Pujon districts, while the level of vulnerability to flooding obtain flood prone land area of 46.87 km2 and is very prone to flood an area of 2.89 km2. From this study can be used as the basis for decision-making on land use data changes so that the future use of land could be more ideal and friendly environmentalKata kunci:

Abstract

The house is a place of living things live. A basic requirement for this stay originated from human shaping social life, to live together and form a pattern settlement. The formation of the villages in the village SumberPolaman, Lawang usually starts from a group of people who form a small village then more and more perfect. This area is shaped and influenced by natural factors as well as the physical expression of the region and culture that has been passed down from generation to generation. The house located in the village of Lawang SumberPolaman generally in the form of a traditional rural home with a simple roof forms that are divided by type and function of each. The wall is in the form of a plank of wood, bamboo and brick wall. While generally still use plaster floor, but there are some homes that already use a ceramic material. The main purpose of writing to determine the typology of residential buildings form the population and settlement patterns that exist in the village SumberPolaman, Lawang. The method used is descriptive method qualitative approach to typology that is the way to describe and classify the various types of data related to residential buildings in the village SumberPolaman, Lawang.

Abstract

During this cooling fish handling is only done by fishermen because it is considered the most effective. But with the rise in fuel prices, the purchasing power of ice fishermen has become even more severe, so the need to find alternative ways of preserving fish that is inexpensive, easy to obtain and have a noticeable effect on the quality of fresh fish as well as safe for the preservation of fresh fish. Liquid smoke technology is an effective potential to help maintain the quality of fresh fish with coconut shell as raw materials. The purpose of this study was to obtain the optimum moisture content of the length of time drying the coconut shell into liquid smoke.This research used an experimental method with long time drying the coconut shell. This study begins with cleansing, enumeration, and drying coconut shell for 0 day, 1 day, 2 days, and 3 days. Then do the pyrolysis process until the process redestilasi and filtration column. Results of liquid smoke grade 3 and grade 1 was analyzed by GC-MS and LC-MS. Treatment on fresh fish is done using a variable length of time drying the coconut shell and the results conducted organoleptic tests include color, aroma, texture and taste.The result of this research is a long time optimal drying for 3 days, with a water content of 1.96%, 6.25% acid concentration, and pH value of 1.9. Abstract

This work has as objective to modeled time extraction and yield of the citronella oil extraction processes from stems by hydrosteam distillation. The process variables evaluated in this study were extraction time, and material weight. The yield is calculated from the relation between mass essential oil obtained and the raw material mass used in the extraction and the quantitative and qualitative analyses of the oils were performed by capillary GC/MS. The experimental condition for the maximum yield, 0.36 %, is the following one: extraction time, 4 h, natural plant. The modeling of these results is proposed from the description of the mass transfer from a single plate particle. Yield curves for all studied conditions were fairly well fitted using one adjustable parameter of the model and the experimental monitoring of oil composition as function of extraction time was realized in laboratory steam distillation apparatus and compared with industrial scale results.
