Abstract

Design Automatic Watering System and Soil Condition Detection Using Arduino Based Soil Moisture. Watering plants is closely related to the needs of water with different levels. This will of course affect the frequency and quantity of its watering. If planted in pots, the same plants (their type and age) will require a more frequent frequency of watering than plants that grow directly from the soil. This research aims to design and implement automatic watering system and soil condition detection using Arduino-based soil moisture.  The type of research that is implemented when testing on this system is done by means of direct testing or simulation of tools that work automatically in accordance with the working principles of each tool

Abstract

This type of research is experimental, namely by designing, making and testing system models. The percentage of student activities in certain subjects is often carried out by lecturers to assess students' ability in understanding course material. This presentation activity is carried out by students per group. The number of groups depends on the course material and also the number of students in one class. This student percentage assessment application aims to be used by students to provide an assessment of the percentage results of the group conducting the percentage. Furthermore, students can see directly the value obtained from the percentage results. The percentage value is displayed in tables and graphs. The use of the CodeIgniter framework is very helpful for researchers in making percentage assessment applications

Abstract

This study aims to make a miniature Pico Hydro-Hydro Power Plant (PH-HPP) system with load variations.  The research method used in this research consists of the stages (1) identification of the problem, (2) design, (3) development and (4) application.  Based on the results of observations at the development stage, the number of revolutions using one nozzle was greater than 29%, namely 1080 rpm for one nozzle and 758 rpm for 2 nozzles.  The measured output voltage when using a 3 watt load is 142 VAC and the measured voltage when using a 100 watt load is 106 VAC.  The measured output voltage on the control panel is inversely proportional to the load given, and this is because the higher the wattage load on the lamp, the heavier the generator rotates so that the output voltage on the generator is getting smaller.

Abstract

This study looked at the condition of power loss and falling voltage after the evaluation of the medium voltage network 20 kV after the earthquake disaster in South Halmahera district, especially in labuha extension on Bacan island The method used in this study is a quantitative research method with data collection done which is then simulated using ETAP 12.6 software. The simulation result obtained total power loss at Labuha extension is 44.3 kW + 66.8 kVAR or 80,154 kVA of 2,445 MVA delivery power, while the presentation of power loss is 3.278%, this is still considered feasible because the power loss on the medium voltage network 20 kV is 10% while in Labuha turtles the power loss is less than 10%. While the large fall in voltage at the largest Labuha extension at the Belang-Belang distribution substation is 3.96% or 792 volts, this is due to the channel length and presentation of the load reaching 83% against the distribution tranformator and the fall in the average voltage of Labuha's purgator is 3.025% or 605 volts against the nominal voltage of 20 kV. It is still considered viable for operation due to the permitted voltage fall on the 20 kV medium voltage network which is 5%.

Abstract

Palopo as one of the cities in South Sulawesi Province that is developing, especially in the field of tourism as conveyed by Andi Enceng as the Tourism Cadre of Palopo City, then Palopo was also appointed as the host of national activities such as national seminars of universities and international conference ICONSS. This makes many tourists who visit not only want to enjoy the beauty of nature, culture and so on but also to attend national activities carried out in palopo city, so that facilities and infrastructure related to lodging is needed in palopo city such as one of them is a hotel. However, information about the location of the inn is still not widely known. The information they get is less accurate in terms of geography, of course the limitations of information will be an obstacle for people who want to travel, especially for those who live outside palopo city to find information on the location of a nearby hotel location. The purpose of this research is to create a design of geographic information system mapping location and specifications of hotels in palopo city basedwebsite design interface and database system, make the system in accordance with the design that has been created and implement the system that has been created and conduct tests on the system. In data collection, the authors used methods of literature studies, observations and interviews. Meanwhile, in the development of the author's system using research and development method refers to the waterfall model. The software used is sublime text as text editor, PHP as programming language, MySQL for database management and xampp as its server. Testing techniques used in this system is black box testing techniques, Based on the tests that have been done that the design of geographic information system mapping location and specifications of hotels in the city of Palopo based website is feasible and in accordance with the required functions. The expected results in this study design this website provides all the data related to hotels in palopo city and has been adjusted in advance so as to facilitate parties in operating the system.

Abstract

The progress of the times has brought various changes in various fields of human life, one of which is the use of regional languages. Taliabu Island is one of the areas within the province of North Maluku, which has its native language or Taliabu language. Currently the use of the Taliabu language has been forgotten by the people of the area, this is built by technological advances that continue to develop, making people forget the importance of culture which should be preserved as the identity of the area. This study aims to build a local language learning application for the island of Taliabu using android as a platform to make it easier for people there or to take the initiative to learn Taliabu. Selection of android as the operating system, because android is currently widely used, ranging from adults to even children, this will have a positive impact to help local governments who are trying to preserve regional culture, one of which is the Taliabu area. Applications will be built using the RAD (Rapid Application Development) method as a system development method, which consists of several stages of work, namely the analysis, design, coding and testing stages. The application of the dictionary for the local language of Taliabu Island based on Android can be translated into Indonesian - Taliabu and Indonesian - Maluku. The resulting output is the form of the translated text and the vocabulary that you want to know the meaning.

Abstract

Sekolah Dasar XYZ memiliki permasalahan dalam pendataan barang inventaris sekolah yakni proses pencatatan masih dicatat dalam sebuah logbook sehingga jumlah barang yang tersedia tidak terupdate secara real time apabila terdapat barang yang dipinjam, barang yang diperbaiki ataupun barang yang rusak. Selain itu, petugas yang bertanggung jawab harus mengelilingi tiap ruangan satu per satu untuk melakukan pengecekan dan pencatatan barang mengakibatkan pemborosan waktu untuk mendata dan tidak efisien. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang dialami pihak sekolah tersebut direkayasa sebuah aplikasi komputerisasi untuk melakukan proses pendataan barang-barang inventaris sehingga memudahkan petugas dalam melakukan pendataan sehingga kinerja menjadi lebih efektif dan efisien. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah metode prototype yang terdiri atas beberapa tahapan yaitu pengumpulan informasi dari pelanggan, merencanakan sistem dan mengerjakan purwarupa perangkat lunak, menyerahkan hasil purwarupa kepada pelanggan untuk dievaluasi apabila terdapat permasalahan, maka akan direvisi sistem tersebut hingga benar-benar sesuai dengan kebutuhan pelanggan, jika revisi selesai dan telah diterima, perangkat lunak telah siap diterjemahkan ke dalam perangkat keras, melakukan proses uji coba dan berbagai revisi sebelum mulai dapat digunakan. Aplikasi yang akan direkayasa ini merupakan aplikasi berbasis web dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP versi 7 yang dipadukan dengan framework Laravel versi 5, dan basis data menggunakan MySQL serta pengujian aplikasi ini menggunakan teknik pengujian black box. Diharapkan dengan adanya aplikasi ini dapat memudahkan pekerjaan penanggung jawab sarana dan prasarana dalam memberikan informasi yang akurat dan terupdate mengenai ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana pada sekolah tersebut.

Abstract

The production process which is designed is a packaging system for the initial storage of products to be filled in the packaging, in this study a conveyor is designed that can sort objects using a proximity sensor and adjust the speed based on the size of the packaging using pulse width modulation (PWM), and can fill the packaging based on the size of the packaging. The product. Automatic control of packing using Outseal PLC Nano.V.4, the system can be controlled and monitored using Haiwell SCADA software on a PC. Outseal PLC nano V.4 test results can operate based on program commands that have been designed. The use of PWM Outseal PLC Nano V.4 on a 12 volt DC motor as a speed controller works in accordance with the duty cycle and PWM scale values given with an efficiency value of 86,56 % at at a PWM value of 900 and 86,23 % at a PWM value of 1023. HMI system made using Haiwell SCADA to control and monitor a successful packing system. Outseal PLC Nano V.4 can operate optimally with the SCADA system. The overall system test results of all sensor components, product packaging and HMI variables are 100 % successful, with an average processing time of packing size M for 11.62 seconds and size L for 14.58 seconds.

Abstract

Readings of the amount of current, voltage and electric power can be done using a sensor. One of the sensors for the amount of voltage, power and energy is in the form of the PZEM-004T model which is connected to the installed electrical load. The microcontroller used is the NodeMCU esp8266 microcontroller which functions as the main control system that will be connected to a computer, with the aim of being able to monitor it in real time in the future. By conducting experiments on the assembly of the PZEM-004T sensor module with NodeMCU esp8266 and making comparisons of the current measurements obtained from the PZEM-004T model sensor readings with the clamp meter current measuring instrument. The results of this study are a data measurement of current, voltage, power, energy, and the cost of household electrical energy consumption as well as the percentage error results from the comparison of current readings, on the PZEM-004T sensor with a reading from a clamp meter measuring instrument. By holding this research, researchers hope to obtain data on how much error percentage is obtained from the application of the PZEM-004T sensor, so that later from the results of the experiment, the PZEM-004T sensor is able to properly and properly monitor the use of electricity in household loads

Abstract

Kematian akibat penyakit jantung terus meningkat dan tak mengenal usia muda dan tua. World Health Organization menyebutkan 7,3 juta penduduk dunia meninggal akibat dari penyakit jantung. Bahkan disebutkan penyakit jantung adalah salah penyakit nomor satu paling mematikan. Untuk itu penting diketahui resiko dari pentakit jantung dengan menerapkan model-model yang ada pada machine learning. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengimplementasikan metode Naive Bayes untuk memprediksi penyakit jantung, serta dilakukan ujii kinerja algoritma dengan menghitung presisi, recall dan akurasi. Adapun Kriteria-kriteria yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu umur, jenis kelamin, jenis sakit dada, tekanan darah, kolestrol, kadar gula, elektrokardiografi, tekanan jantung, angina induksi, old-peak, segmen_st, Fluoroskopi, denyut jantung. Sedangkan class yang diprediksi ada 2 beresiko dan tidak beresiko. Hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa metode berhasil memprediksi atau mengklasifikasi pasien beresiko penyakit jantung dan tidak beresiko penyakit jantung dengan persentase precision 90%, recall 100% serta mendapatkan akurasi 92.85% dan termaksuk exellent classification.
