Abstract

A water channel is a building made for the process of draining water. The water channel will drain water from a high place to a lower place. Waterways are commonly used to drain rainwater, irrigate rice fields and household wastewater. The problem that often arises in waterways is the accumulation of garbage. Garbage that accumulates can clog drains. Clogged drains can cause environmental problems such as flooding, water pollution, sources of unpleasant odors, and breeding grounds for mosquitoes. Garbage problems that arise in waterways must be addressed immediately. One form of solving the problem of piles of garbage in waterways is the process of monitoring the state of the waterways. The process of monitoring waterways aims as a form of monitoring the condition of waterways. In the current technological era, the process of monitoring water flow can be done remotely by utilizing internet of things technology. The monitoring process using internet of things technology can facilitate monitoring work because there is no need to visit the location to see the condition of the waterways. The design of monitoring waste piles in loRa-based waterways is a tool design to facilitate the process of monitoring waste in waterways. The monitoring process is carried out by paying attention to the water discharge to determine the condition of the water channel. The process of sending data on waterways uses the LoRa transmission system.

Abstract

Hydrogen is an alternative energy source that can be produced from renewable energy sources, such as biomass and is known as biohydrogen. In addition to abundant producing sources, biohydrogen is also environmentally friendly. But this biohydrogen industry will produce waste that will pollute the environment if simply thrown away. Industrial liquid waste can have a considerable impact on the environment, this waste can cause biological oxygen demand (BOD) and chemical oxygen demand (COD). The high value of BOD and COD produced by this waste resulted in it not being discharged directly into the environment and special treatment was needed in advance. Technology that can be used in handling waste problems, among others, is the utilization of microorganisms as an effort to speed up the process of decomposition of waste, especially organic waste into organic fertilizers. Biohydrogen waste contained in the biohydrogen fermenter tank, then filtered biohydrogen waste which was originally in the form of slury, liquid waste is discharged and solid waste is stored to be mixed with goat manure. A mixture of biohydrogen waste and goat manure is made with a ratio of 20: 80 ; 40:60 ; 60:40 and 80:20 after all the ingredients are well mixed then the sample is stored in a sealed container that has previously been fitted with a thermometer to measure the temperature of the compost. The compost mixture sample is then stored for 30 days and observed its temperature and pH every day, and measured the moisture content at the beginning of the composting process and the end of composting After 30 days of storage the compost mixture is then analyzed nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), potassium (K) levels. In the research on making compost from biohydrogen waste with maja fruit raw materials obtained the best results, namely at a ratio of 60:40 with N levels of 0.05%, P levels of 0.15% and K levels of 0.61%.

Abstract

In designing an electric car, of course, it requires a frame that works as a support for all the loads that are on it, for a frame construction itself it must have strength, light weight and have a good flexibility value. This frame structure test aims to find the value of stress, displacement, and safety factor on the car frame using finite element software, with a mass loading on the driver of 100 kg, seat load 0.8 kg, and the load of the motor and other supporting elements 62 kg. type of hollow pipe iron profile which has a size of 3/4 inch. In the theoretical calculation results obtained a maximum stress of 6312 x 107 N/m2. The material in the car frame is divided into 3 variations, namely Aluminum 6061 which has a material allowable stress of 1.375 x 108 N/m2 with a deflection value in the theoretical calculation of 7.933 x 10-1 mm and the results of simulation calculations are 7,483 x 10-1 mm has a safety factor value of 3,472 with an error ratio of 6%, ASTM A36 STEEL has a material stress stress of 1,250 x 108 N/m2 with a deflection value in the theoretical calculation of 2,736 x 10-1 mm and the calculation result is 2,560 x 10-1 mm has a safety factor value of 3.102 with an error ratio of 6.8%, st37 steel has a material allowable stress of 2.650 x 108 N/m2 with a deflection value in the theoretical calculation of 2,670 x 10-1 mm and the simulation results of 2,504 x 10-1 mm have a safety factor value of 6612 with the ratio of errors or errors is 6.6%.Keywords:  Analysis, kmli, frame, finite element.

Abstract

Laboratories/workshops are the main infrastructure facilities needed for vocational education. State Polytechnic of Sriwijaya is one of the vocational universities that has laboratory/workshop facilities in every existing study program. Each laboratory/workshop is equipped with a variety of equipment and practicum components. Existing equipment and components are part of the campus inventory that can be used by all students for practical needs. After making a web-based application for the laboratory/workshop of the Telecommunication Engineering study program as a means to improve the work system of laboratory/workshop technicians, then an Android-based application was also made. This application can be used as a means of information for students and lecturers. This application was created with the aim of providing information about the data of tools and practicum components along with the amount that can be known in real time following the process of taking components and borrowing tools. In addition, other information related to lecture activities is also presented. In the stages of making this application the prototype method is used. The application of the prototype method aims to further optimize application functions according to user needs. With the creation of this application, students of the Telecommunications Engineering Study Program at the Sriwijaya State Polytechnic can find out information on data for practicum needs more easily and can be accessed anywhere. This application has also been tested using black box testing and shows the system results are acceptable and ready for use.

Abstract

The research entitled "The Influence of Digital Electronic Book PocketBook Learning Media on Student Learning Interests" aims to develop and find out the influence of Learning media in the form of Digital Electronic Course PocketBooks used in the learning process as one of the guidelines used by students both in the classroom and outside the classroom. The research method used is the research and development method (Research and Development). The results of the study obtained that the feasibility of learning media for digital electronic subject books can be reviewed from two aspects, namely from the aspect of the quality of digital electronic subject book and material quality. In terms of quality, digital electronic subjectbooks through the feasibility validation test of pocket books get a percentage of 76% or with the category "Worthy" while in terms of material quality is at a percentage of 78.4% or with the category "Feasible". So that the digital electronic subject book is worthy to be used as a learning medium. Meanwhile, the results of the analysis of questionnaires conducted on students were obtained that with the pocket book of digital electronic courses can increase student learning interest by 83.4% with excellent categories

Abstract

MIMO sectoral antennas are antennas that are often used and installed in BTS towers owned by cellular operators. The sektral antenna is useful for GSM, GPRS, and LTE communications. The gain generated by sectoral antennas is quite large compared to other antennas. As well as the resulting radiation pattern can select the area that can be reached. This research designs and builds a sekotral antenna with a working frequency of 900 MHz which will be used as a transmitter for bladeRF as the main radio. Designing and simulating the antenna is carried out on the MMANA-GAL software application. In order to get the desired parameters and results and to know the parameters of the antenna, it is necessary to design the antenna first. The parameters that will be obtained when measuring sectoral antennas in this research are SWR, Gain, radiation pattern, polarization, and impedance. After taking measurements and simulations, it is found that the difference in the results obtained from the experiment is that the performance of sectoral antennas is very good and can be used on real radio or in real conditions in the field. In the 4-element simulation, the SWR generated during the simulation is 1.22, the resulting gain is 13.17, the resulting impedance is 57.87, and the radiation pattern has an angle of 60o. Meanwhile, when testing using the Antenna Network Analyzer, it can only determine 3 parameters, namely impedance, SWR, and smitch chart. The resulting SWR is 1.4 which is not the same as the MMANA-GAL simulation results, then there is an impedance which has a good value of 54.6. Which value is close to the value of 50 but in the simulation the value obtained is greater. The thing that affects the values of these parameters is because during the simulation the array elements should be circular but instead formed a rectangle and the measuring instrument used is also still unstable when measuring in real terms on the antenna. This sectoral antenna can be used properly in GSM technology telephone communication at a working frequency of 900 MHz which will be used in the Software Defind Radio BladeRF

Abstract

The problems are happening at PT. XYZ regarding the work system. A good work system is a work system that has high efficiency and productivity values. So the role of industrial management is absolutely necessary in terms of designing a new system that can increase the production. Activities or linkages between elements are interdependent to achieve the same goal. In line with current problems, the purpose of this study is to determine the management of existing processes in a company that is influenced by several factors. In addition, the output also affects the efficiency of existing work productivity. The results of this study indicate that an engineering project is needed to increase the existing effectiveness. To be able to produce products with good quality and in accordance with standard operating procedures in making products. The company must carry out quality control by taking into account the level of defects produced in production. In order for the defect level of a product to be close to zero defect or if none is equal to zero, it is necessary to make a repair which of course will require quite a long time and a lot of money. By using quality control, it is hoped that a company can reduce the occurrence of defective products, and can reduce things that are not expected by the company in accordance with the vision and mission. There is a management system that can be applied, namely MBOS or better known as Management By Olympic System.

Abstract

This research aims to review the sea water purification technology, which no longer functions as a source of clean water for the people of Hiri Island. Identifying clean water problems and the need for clean water for the people on Hiri Island was analyzing the constraints and costs of implementing which re-operate the reverse osmosis technology located on Hiri Island for development. The results of the calculation of water consumption for the total head of the family in Hiri Island is 829 x 144 liters/day = 119,376 m3/day. By re-activating the reverse osmosis technology already available on Hiri Island, the water needs of all residents can be met. The obstacle experienced by the sea water purification technology that was built in Togolobe Village, according to the manager who runs the sea water purification technology, is that the filter equipment is damaged. According to the manager, the damaged equipment has been looked for in Ternate to be replaced. However, the filter is not available in Ternate or North Maluku. The manager has had time to build coordination in the procurement of replacement filter equipment. However, there is no certainty that the technology can no longer be used until now. To develop the operation of reverse osmosis technology required cost is Rp. 11,532,000.

Abstract

Sistem pengukuran beban listrik adalah peralatan yang dirancang untuk mengukur dan memonitoring pemakaian listrik. Proses pembacaan arus listrik menggunakan sebuah sensor arus, tegangan, daya, dan energi model PZEM-004T yang dihubungkan dengan beban pemakaian listrik. Mikrokontroler yang digunakan adalah mikrokontroler NodeMCU esp8266 yang berfungsi sebagai sistem kontrol utama yang akan dihubungkan dengan aplikasi IoT thingspeak dengan agar bisa di monitoring secara real time. Dengan melakukan eksperimen perakitan modul sensor PZEM-004T dengan NodeMCU esp8266 yang menghasilkan fitur monitoring pembacaan pengukuran arus, tegangan, daya, energi, dan biaya yang dari aplikasi IoT thingspeak melalui sensor PZEM-004T. Pada penelitian sebelumnya sudah pernah dilakukan perbandingan pengukuran antara pembacaan sensor PZEM-004T dan clamp meter dengan hasil presentase error yang rendah (8.3% - 16.7%) untuk tiap beban yang diukur. Hasil penelitian Sistem Monitoring Tegangan, Arus dan Biaya Pemakaian Listrik Rumah Tangga Dengan Aplikasi Thingspeak adalah sebuah data monitoring pengukuran real time melalui aplikasi IoT thingspeak untuk pemakaian beban energi listrik dari alat elektronik rumah tangga berupa hasil pembacaan besaran arus, tegangan, daya, energi, dan biaya dengan sensor PZEM-004T. Aplikasi IoT thingspeak, sensor PZEM-004T hampir mendekati pada alat ukur atau clamp meter yang digunakan sehingga mampu memonitoring dengan baik dan benar pemakaian listrik pada beban rumah tangga.

Abstract

UMKM Roti Mang Odoy yang bertempat di Jakarta Timur tepatnya Gg. Langgar, merupakan usaha yang memproduksi roti anget. Setiap harinya mampu memproduksi 800 buah roti anget dengan berbagai isian rasa yaitu coklat, strawberry, blueberry, keju, dan kacang hijau. Kegiatan produksi roti terbagi menjadi beberapa proses pada setiap masing-masing departemen. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat kerusakan dan dapat mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor penyebab kerusakan dalam proses produksi roti di UMKM Roti Mang Odoy. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan cara observasi dan wawancara dalam penelitian ini. Dalam pengolahan data pada penelitian ini  menggunakan metode yaitu Statistical Quality Control (SQC) yang dilakukan dengan alat bantu statistic diantaranya: fishbone diagram, control chart, dan diagram pareto. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kerusakan roti tersebut disebabkan oleh isian roti yang keluar, pengovean yang tidak sempurna, dan adonan yang tidak sempurna. Di dapatkan hasil tertinggi dari masalah isian roti yang keluar sebanyak 2903 buah roti dengan tingkat persetase 36,52% yang penyebab utamanya dari faktor manusia dan proses produksi yang dilakukan belum dikatakan sempurna karena titik-titik yang berada diantara UCL dan LCL yang tidak sejajar.
