Abstract

Agencies engaged in public works, infrastructure and housing development for the South Solok Regency area. However, there are still many complaints that are felt by the employees of the Public Works, Spatial Planning and Land Office of South Solok Regency. This study aims to determine the Motivation, Discipline and Employee Performance of the Public Works, Spatial Planning and Land Service Office of South Solok Regency. The samples were determined by using saturated sampling technique, with a total of 64 employees. The data were collected through questionnaires and then analyzed statistically descriptive and Independent-Sample T-Test with the SPSS version 16 program. The results of data analysis showed that motivation and discipline had a positive effect on the performance of the employees of the Public Works, Spatial Planning and Land Office of South Solok Regency.

Abstract

The debt policy is a policy regarding the reduction or addition of debt by the company's management to obtain a source of financing for the company's operations. This study aims to examine the effect of asset structure, profitability and institutional ownership on debt policy. The sample of this study were seven automotive companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) for the period 2012-2019 which were selected using purposive sampling method. The data analysis method used in this study is a panel regression model. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, that the asset structure has a significant positive effect on debt policy, while profitability and institutional ownership have a negative and significant effect on debt policy.

Abstract

This research was designed to describe the ability of the second year students to comprehend reading text according to the levels of question at SMAN 1 Sijunjung. To be more specific it aimed at describing students’ ability to comprehend reading text according to the levels of comprehension questions. This research was descriptive research. The population of this research was the second year students at SMAN 1 Sijunjung. The number of members of population was 165 students. The researcher took 80 students as the sample. In selecting sample, the researcher used stratified cluster random sampling technique. The data of this research were the students’ scores on comprehending text according to the levels of question. To take the data, the researcher used reading test. In analyzing the data, there were some steps she used: the first was presentation of raw scores and calculation of Mean and Standard Deviation. The second was classifying the students’ ability into high, moderate, and low ability. The third was determining the percentage of the students who had high, moderate, and low ability. The result of the data analysis showed that the ability of the second year students to comprehend reading text according to the levels of question at SMAN 1 Sijunjung was moderate. It was proved by the fact that 41 students (51.25%) had moderate ability. Specifically, the ability of the students to comprehend reading text at the level of comprehension questions was moderate. . It was proved by the fact that 55 students (68.75%) had moderate ability. Based on the findings above, it was suggested that the teachers give more exercises, beginning from the low levels of question to the high levels of question. It was also suggested to the teachers that they must promote a discussion to answer the questions on the texts being taught.

Abstract

Bond rating information shows the extent to which the company is able to pay its obligations and shows the level risk or security of the bond. The rating of a bond is investment grade, the risk of default on a company’s debt is unavoidable. The purpose of study was to determine how much influence Leverage, Liquidity, and Profitability on Bond Ratings in manufacturing companies listed at PT. PEFINDO for the period 2015-2019. The Sampling technique used purposive sampling method and obtained as many as 65 data. Data obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange through the website www.idx.co.id. The analysis method used is panel data regression analysis with the help of the E-Views 8 application. After the chow-test was carried out, it was decided to use the Common Effect Model method. The results showed that Leverage has a negative effect on Bond Ratings. Liquidity has no effect on Bond Ratings, and Profitability has a positive effect on Bond Ratings

Abstract

The stock price interpreted as the price formed from the interaction between the seller and the buyer of shares which is motivated by the expectation of company profits. This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of asset structure and profitability on stock prices. The data processed is secondary data from the annual reports of 11 food and beverage sub-sector manufacturing companies listed on the IDX in 2015-2019 which were taken through purposive sampling. The method used in this research is panel data regression analysis method using Eviews version 8.0. The results of this study indicate that: asset structure and profitability have a positive effect on stock prices

Abstract

This research aims to test the company's size, profitability and audit opinion on audit delay in the mining and mineral sector in IDX. This study used samples in the mining and mineral sector in IDX 2013-2019. Based on purposive sampling, the number of mining and mineral companies used in the research sample is as many as 9 companies. Hypothetical testing using panel data regression using the E Views 8.0 program. The results showed that the size of the company had a significant positive effect on audit delay, profitability had no effect on audit delay and audit opinion had a significant negative effect on audit delay.

Abstract

The key competitive advantage in a situation full of competition is the ability of the company in improving customer satisfaction. Customer satisfaction will be the key to success, not only in the short term but sustainable competitive advantage. The purpose of this research is to find out and analyse the influence the service quality, trust and technology information system on customer satisfaction in Taspen (Persero) compayny of Padang. Technique data collecting in this research use the questionnaire. The sample taken by as much 100 people customers at PT. Taspen (Persero) Branch the Padang by using scale likert. Design research is quantitative with the hypothesis. Data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression using SPSS 25. This result indicates that the variable of 1) service quality have an effect on positive to customer satisfaction 2) trust have an effect on positive to customer satisfaction 3) technology information system have an effect on positive to customer satisfaction

Abstract

Regional tax is an obligatory contribution to the region owed by an individual or entity that is compelling based on law without receiving direct compensation and is used for regional needs for the greatest prosperity of the people. This study aims to examine the Total Population and Gross Regional Domestic Product of Regional Tax Revenues in 19 districts and cities in west sumatera. This study uses local government revenue realization data in 19 districts and cities of west sumatera for the 2015-2019 period published by the Central Statistik Agency (BPS). Hypothesis testing uses panel data regression using the eviews 8.0 program. The results showed that population has a negative and significant effect on local tax revenue and gross regional domestic product has a positive and significant effect on local tax revenue.

Abstract

Financial distress is a condition in which a company is facing a period of financial difficulty and conditions that occur before the company actually goes bankrupt. This study aims to obtain empirical evidence whether there is an effect of managerial ownership, company size and leverage on financial distress in companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2015 - 2019. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling method and is based on criteria. samples obtained from 9 companies. Data from financial reports are obtained from the IDX official website. The analysis method used is panel data regression analysis with the help of the E-Views 8 application. After doing the chow-test, it was decided to choose the fixed effect method. Financial distress on publicly listed companies on the IDX during the study period was only positively and significantly influenced by managerial ownership, firm size had no significant effect and leverage has a negative and significant effect.

Abstract

The low absorption of the budget in capital expenditures can have an impact, including, for example, the poor local infrastructure that is currently owned and the absence of a significant additional number of projects in the new infrastructure sector, the absence of basic infrastructure such as ports, roads, clean water processing and generators electricity. The purpose of this study was to determine how much influence local revenue and general allocation funds have on capital expenditures in 19 districts and cities in West Sumatra for the 2015–2019 period. Total sampling method is used for the sampling technique and obtained 95 data. The Central Bureau of Statistics of West Sumatra Province is a place for data collection through the website www.sumbar.bps.go.id. Panel data regression analysis is the analysis method used with the help of the E-Views 8 application. After the Hausman-Test was carried out, it was decided to use the Fixed Effect Model method. The results showed that there was a positive effect of PAD and DAU on capital expenditures, both individually and collectively.
