Abstract

Going concern audit opinion is an opinion issued by a company regarding the feasibility of its company's financial statements to see the future. This study aims to examine company growth, bankruptcy predictions and previous year's going concern audit opinion on the provision of Going Concern audit opinion on manufacturing companies listed on the IDX. This study uses a sample of manufacturing companies listed on the IDX in 2015-2019. Based on positive sampling, the number of manufacturing companies used in this study were 57 companies. Hypothesis testing uses logistic regression using the Spss 23 program. The results of this study indicate that company growthas going concern audit opinion, bankruptcy prdition has a significant negative effect going concern audit opinion and previous year”s going concern audit opinion has a significant positive effect on going concern audit opinion

Abstract

Keterampilan menulis deskripsi merupakan sebuah keterampilan yang wajib diajarkan dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia karena tecantum dalam silabus kelas X Sekolah Menengah Atas. Beberapa bukti yang mengatakan bahwa keterampilan menulis deskripsi siswa masih rendah terlihat dalam penelitian yang dilakukan oleh Purbania, dkk tahun 2020 dalam jurnal bahasa, sastra, dan pengajaran vol 8 no 1. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan diketahui bahwa kemampuan menulis deskripsi siswa belum baik dan tergolong kategori cukup dengan rentang nilai 61-75. Nilai tersebut belum memenuhi standar KKM Adapun kesulitan-kesulitan yang dihadapi siswa dalam pembelajaran menulis deskripsi, yaitu (1) siswa sulit mengembangkan ide dalam menulis deskripsi, (2) sulit mengembangkan kalimat, (3) siswa sulit menentukan ejaan yang baik dan benar dan sulit berkonsentrasi. Salah satu upaya untuk mengatasi permasalahan siswa tersebut, guru seharusnya menerapkan suatu teknik dalam pembelajaran sehingga pembelajaran lebih efektif, inovatif dan memberikan stimulus kepada siswa untuk mengembangkan ide dalam menulis sesuai dengan objek yang dilihat. artikel ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan mengenai penggunaan teknik objek langsung dalam keterampilan menulis deskripsi siswa.

Abstract

Studi perbandingan aktivitas katalitik dari katalis CaO yang disintesis dari cangkang telur ayam dengan aktivator asam dan basa telah dipelajari. Aktivasi dengan basa dilakukan dengan metode impregnasi yaitu dengan memasukkan CaO kedalam larutan KOH. Aktivasi asam dilakukan dengan membuat komposit CaO dan karbon serta disulfonasi dengan asam sulfat pekat. Katalis CaO yang dihasilkan diaplikasikan dalam produksi biodisel dari minyak jelantah. Aktivitas katalitik ditentukan melalui uji produk biodisel yang dihasilkan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa katalis yang dimodifikasi melalui impregnasi basa memiliki aktivitas katalitik yang tinggi dalam mengkonversi minyak jelantah menjadi biodisel. Meskipun katalis CaO tanpa modifikasi memiliki nilai densitas, laju alir dan bilangan asam lebih baik dari CaO-A dan CaO-A/CS, kedua katalis ini masih bisa dioptimasi dalam preparasi dan aplikasinya sebagai katalis dalam produksi biodisel.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to provide empirical evidence of the effect of the e-filling system, taxpayer awareness and tax sanctions on taxpayer compliance. The population in this study were 100 respondents consisting of taxpayers registered at KPP Pratama Padang Satu. Purposive sampling technique is a sampling technique used in this study using the Slovin formula. The sample in this study were 100 respondents consisting of taxpayers registered at KPP Pratama Padang Satu. This type of research is quantitative research. Multiple linear regression analysis was used in this study. The results showed that the E-Feling system had no effect on taxpayer compliance at the Padang 1 Primary Tax Service Office, while taxpayer awareness and tax sanctions partially had an effect on Taxpayer Compliance at the Primary Tax Service Office Padang 1.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to examine the effect of local revenue and balance funds on financial performance. The sample in this study used a census method in which the entire population would be used as a sample, so the sample in this study was the Municipal Government in West Sumatra, consisting of 7 cities and 12 regencies. The type of data in this study is the ratio. The data collection technique in this research is documentation technique. The application used to process data in the study is Eviews. The results show that local revenue has a positive effect on financial performance and the Balanced Fund has a negative effect on financial performance, this statement is evidenced by the results of the t test with a significance level of less than 0,05.

Abstract

Human resources is the main focus of all organization in order to reach the goals. For Human resources is the major factor as the success of bussiness is depended on it, so that, the Job Satisfaction of human resources or the employee had to have more concern by organization. This study aims to determine how much influence the Leadership and Physical Work Environment on Job Satisfaction in the BKPSDM Sawahlunto City. The population amounted to 41 employees. Sampling is saturated sample by making the entire population being sampled. Data retrieval in the form of questionnaire. Using Multiple Regression Analysis. Th result of this study are leadership has positive and significant impact on the job satisfaction and Physical Work Environment has positive and significant impact on the job satisfaction.

Abstract

Employee performance in terms of quality and quantity achieved by an employee in carrying out his duties in accordance with the responsibilities assigned to him. This study aims to examine the effect of talent management on employee performance, to examine the influence of organizational culture on employee performance, the sampling method uses total sampling, where all members of the population are sampled as many as 63 employees at the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency of Padang City. The data analysis technique used to test the hypothesis is multiple linear regression. The results show that talent management has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

Basic reading is conducted to the first semester of English Language Education Study Program at Universitas Ekasakti Padang. There are several text which could be used to in teaching and learning process. One of them are short stories as the proper one for first semester students. By using short stories, the students could enhance their vocabularies and their undertanding in reading text. Besides, there is also moral value that they could get from the text. Throught those, classroom action research about the use of short stories for Basic Reading class were done for the students which the data were taken from tests, observations, interviews and documentation. Sample of the research were consist of 2 (two) classes of the students. as the result, mean score indicate there is an enhancement during the teaching and learning by using short stories. Using short stories in basic reading class is a very good way and also exciting.

Abstract

The students usually make error on the use of grammar when they produce an English writing, also in writing descriptive text. It is due to the difference between Indonesia and English grammatical system. If the students are not able to use those aspects correctly, it would be worried that their writing which is good content and organization would not give good sense because the readers misunderstand the message conveyed. The purpose of this study was to describe types of grammar errors made by the third year students in paragraph writing. The population of this research was 68 students of the third year students of English State Islamic University Imam Bonjol Padang, which were divided into two classes: class A and B. The sample was 30 students by using cluster random sampling. This research was done by giving some topics and students had to choose one of the topics given such as “My Daily Activities”, “My Favorite Lecturer”, and “My Best Friend in this Semester”. The researcher uses qualitative method in order to obtain valid findings from 30 students of third year students of English. Based on the error analysis conducted, the researcher found that errors regarding sentence structure are the most dominant errors, with the biggest number of errors are in verb and verb groups with the biggest number of errors are in addition verb (64,10%). Then, it is followed by errors regarding nominal with the biggest number of errors are in inappropriate addition of nominal (35,90%). Last, the errors regarding pronoun with the biggest number of errors are in inappropriate selection pronoun (24,59%). The findings show that the students have difficulties in using correct sentence structure, especially in omission verb. This problem may occur due to their lack understanding of grammatical rules.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis gaya kepemimpinan manajer di sektor publik. Penelitian ini memfokuskan diri pada gaya kepemimpinan Kepala Dinas Pengelolaan Keuangan dan Aset Pemerintah Kota Padang. Gaya kepemimpinan dianalisis menggunakan lima dimensi dalam peranan pemimpin, yaitu pemberian diskresi kepada bawahan, pengambilan keputusan, manajemen konflik, cara mengelola dan memotivasi bawahan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif untuk mendapatkan gambaran yang lebih komprehensif mengenai gaya kepemimpinan. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap para pegawai Dinas Pengelolaan Keuangan dan Aset Pemerintah Kota Padang dan pengumpulan data melalui sumber-sumber skunder. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa manajer publik sudah menerapkan gaya kepemimpinan secara baik dilihat dari segi pemberian diskresi kepada bawahan, pengambilan keputusan, manajemen konflik, cara mengelola dan memotivasi bawahan. Namun, beberapa gaya kepemimpinan dipraktikkan secara berbeda dengan yang berlaku di sektor swasta. Alih-alih menggunakan insentif yang bersifat ekonomi, manajer lebih cenderung memberikan insentif non-ekonomi kepada para bawahannya. Studi ini memperkaya diskusi mengenai kepemimpinan sektor publik dengan menyediakan kasus pimpinan level puncak pada organisasi publik di Indonesia.
