Abstract

To learn something well, we need to hear, see, ask questions about it, and discuss it with others. Not only that, teachers need to "do it", that is to describe something in their own way, to show their example, to try to practice their skills and to do tasks that demand the knowledge they have gained. Problems to be studied in this research are: a. How to improve the learning outcomes of PPKN on the students of grade V SD N 29 Terakak Heat by using Q & A method with variation of learning media in January 2015? b. Steps taken in improving achievement and motivation to learn PPKN? Research Subject (sample): Student Class V 3) Subject: Civics 4) Media used a) Essays that tell one's ideals (Ideology Concept Planting) b) Strong house, building, or building image (National Basic Concept Planting c) Worksheet d) National Songs 4) Semester / Lesson Year: 2015 5) Circle. physical school: Rural 6) Socio-economic background of lower middle class parents 7) Ability of students: moderate 8) Student learning motivation: low This research is a classroom action research, therefore this research is not planned from the beginning, but only planned after the result of teaching learning process felt the problem (less satisfy). Preparatory steps after being exposed to problems that need to be solved through this TOD are: 1) conduct a preliminary study by reflection, ie discussion with some related teachers (especially research partners) with problems found 2) develop action plan, including: a) make a lesson plan b) make an agreement with the research partner. The number of cycles in this TOD is not predetermined, but is strongly influenced by the data obtained and the results of its analysis. If the data obtained is satisfactory to answer the research problem, then the research cycle is considered complete Data collection techniques in this study were obtained through obeservation and field data records, interviews, test results and record of reflection / discussion results conducted by researchers and research partners. Determination of such techniques is based on the availability of facilities and infrastructure and capabilities of researchers and research partners. Based on the results of the implementation of classroom action research on the application of Question Answer Methods on the students of class V SDN 29 Terakak Heat in Civics subjects that lasted for 3 cycles of research can be concluded: 1. During the PTK, the effort of applying the Q FAQ method variation of instructional media has been managed with good. 2. Learning activities with Q & A method with well-managed media variation proved effective enough to improve student learning outcomes. 3. Learning media to make essays and drawings that are varied with the Q & A method is effective enough to convey the material of Pancasila as the Basic of State and as the State Ideology. 4. Hypothesis of action that states "if the effort of applying the Q & A method of variations of learning media can run effectivly, then the student learning outcomes will increase" is acceptable.

Abstract

To learn a lesson well, we need to hear, see, ask questions about it, and discuss it with others. Not only that, teachers need to "do it", that is to describe something in their own way, to show their example, to try to practice their skills and to do tasks that demand the knowledge they have gained.Problems that want to be studied in this research are: Is using Audio-Visual model in students of class IX SMP Negeri 2 Painan year 2015 – 2016. Steps in using the Audio-Visual implementation method? This research was conducted in class VII of SMP Negeri 1 Painan. This place was chosen because based on the results of class observations and interviews with English teachers in the classroom it can be concluded that the skills of students listening in English is still low. This is because teachers do not use adequate techniques, limited books that are in school and media equipment is still lacking. Research time. This research was conducted from early October as a description of the implementation of this study can be seen in the following table: This stage is intended to thoroughly review the actions that have been done, based on data that has accumulated in the previous step. And look for difficulties experienced by students and teachers in the process of action that has been done. Students are invited to discuss each cycle to ask about their difficulties. The teacher reflects on past events as the process of action takes place. All the data obtained are analyzed and evaluated to refine the action in the next cycle or whether or not the treatment given to the students is continued. By knowing that the triggers of low learning activity and learning achievement are in factors such as the method used by the teacher, so the use or replacement of conventional methods into constructivist methods is indispensable, consequently the researchers tried the Audio-Visual learning model in an attempt to solve problems at school. Based on the low learning activities and student achievement that are presented on the background of the problem, the use of Audio-Visual learning model attempted to be able to complete the purpose of this research is to know the improvement of student achievement. How much improvement has been made clear at the end of the analysis. From the results of the research presented in Chapter IV and all the data that have been submitted, the research objectives submitted can already be achieved. Abstract

Primary school age around 6-12 years according to Mulyani Sumantri (Teaching and Learning Strategy 2001: 10) is an important and even fundamental development stage for the success of further development. Involvement in group life (collaboration or cooperation) for elementary school age children is of interest and concern. The development of emotional social relationships and the presence of normative ethical awareness in children of this age is a strong feature of elementary school age. Positive and productive social competencies will develop at this age such as the ability to work together, competence, tolerance, kinship and so on. In connection with the above, in the creation of a child learning environment is a development that provides opportunities for children to work in groups is very important. Giving children the opportunity to ask questions and do the questions in front of the classroom with teacher direction is a practical implication of the social-emotional and moral development of primary school-aged children. From the problems above, in the research can be formulated a formula of the problem as follows: Is the existence of the "Rani" approach in the field of mathematics study can enable fourth grade students SDN 04 Koto Ranah District IV Nagari Bayang Utara Pesisir Selatan District Lesson 2015/2016 year teaching activities take place? In this classroom action research, the researcher chose the research method with spriral capital proposed by Kemmis and Mc Taggart (1988), as quoted by Kasihani Kasbolah (2001), that in classroom action research, taking planning steps, (action), evaluation (observation / monitoring) and reflection (reflexion). And so on until the research objectives are achieved. Based on the results of the observation and the results of the problem-solving test, it can be concluded that: Rani's learning model can improve problem solving ability which includes ability to identify problems, determine alternatives, create design, collect data, find solutions and make conclusions on math problems in front of class together on students of Class IV SDN 04 Koto Ranah Sub District IV Nagari Bayang Utara Pesisir Selatan District Lesson Year 2015/2016. Abstract

For subjects whose instructional objectives are more skill-enhancing (psychomotor) such as mathematics subjects, visual aids are indispensable in the learning process. Any abstract concept in mathematics newly understood by a child needs immediate strengthening in order to settle, adhere and long lasting to be embedded in his own mindset and pattern of action (Ruseffendi 2003: 226). For this purpose it is necessary to learn through doing and understanding, not just memorize or remember facts that would be easily forgotten and difficult uniuk owned. As the phrase often expressed by the experts, that: I heard then I forget, I see then I know, I do then I understand. That's why in the teaching of mathematics in elementary school (SD) is still required the use of props. As teachers we need to know the various props that can be used in teaching mathematics subjects, especially in teaching mathematics in elementary. Mathematics subjects on the implementation should be pursued with conducive learning conditions in the sense of an active learning, creative, effective and even innovative. To create a conducive learning condition, there should be an effort to maximize the utilization of existing facilities and infrastructure, even if deemed necessary a teacher can make their own props needed. Mathematics lesson material can not only be conveyed through information or just rely on the formulas, but must be pursued a verification in an effort to avoid verbalism. Othello displays in mathematics lessons conducted at SDN 04 KOTO RANAH Subdistrict IV Nagari Bayang Utara Pesisir Selatan District Lesson Year 2015/2016 can be summarized as follows: In general, student achievement in SDN 04 Koto Ranah District IV Nagari Bayang Utara Pesisir Selatan Regency Year The 2015/2016 lesson prior to the action of beluni reached the optimal level in solving mathematical problems in the broad subject. With props stimulates the liveliness and creativity of learners, it is proven learners Sdn 04 Koto Ranah District IV Nagari Bayang Utara Pesisir Selatan District Lesson Year 2015/2016 during the learning not only silent, but students actively and creatively seek and find a problem the teacher presented. The use of Othello props can have a positive impact on improving students / learner abilities according to the potential of each learner. This is evident in the change in evaluation results that increase from each learner from the first action to the third action.
