Abstract

On the basis of archival materials first introduced into scientific circulation, they studied the problem of the oil industry evolution in the 1920-ies, the specifics of the forms and methods of party-state management. The results of the activity and the role of the most prominent specialists who were the members of the Petroleum Industry Council at that time based on the supply chain management. During this period, the oil industry had great centralization of management, private capital was almost not allowed, self-financing was implemented to a minimum. Only oil trusts were to transfer all products to the industry syndicate. At the same time, archival documents allow not only to evaluate the colossal efforts of experts to restore and re-equip the industry, but also its importance for the development of the entire national economy in the context of the new economic policy implementation, make it possible to formulate the conclusion that by the end of the 1920-ies own research and development for the oil industry has become a fairly voluminous list.

Abstract

Abstract- The main purpose of the current paper is to examine impact of information system, supplier integration and transformational leadership on supply chain performance. Moreover, mediating role of trust is examined as well. For the present research study, the data was gathered from the employees of mining industry of Indonesia. The response rate of the study was 42.3%.  Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) technique is used for data analysis, following linearity, autocorrelation, non-multicollinearity and homoscedasticity assumptions, to ascertain whether underlying technique meets all the required assumptions. Information system and supplier integration do not impact significantly to the trust. Whereas the mediation of supplier integration, trust and supplier performance is reported insignificant. All other hypothesis is found significant. The findings of the study are important for the practitioner and policy makers of human resource and supply chain department of the organization.

Abstract

Abstract- Effective supply chain management of the active development process of the social economy requires the use of separate tools to measure the level of social entrepreneurship, including the state of the environment in which enterprises are created. In this regard, the author proposes a method for assessing the level of the social entrepreneurship development in the macro-region. The method of calculating the integrated index of innovative development of the region as the basis of the proposed tools was used and subsequently adapted. The proposed calculation model was adapted to the problem of measuring the level of development of social entrepreneurship by including an expert method for determining the weight coefficients of each thematic block. An evaluation scale was also introduced, which can serve as a basis for making recommendations for consistently improving the level of social entrepreneurship development in the region. The evaluation is calculated in four consecutive stages: collecting the values of each indicator, rationing each indicator included in the evaluation system, calculating the index for each thematic block, and calculating the integral index for the development of social entrepreneurship.

Abstract

The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method is employed to evaluate the significance of various criteria influencing development of the organic agricultural products supply chain in Taiwan. A three-level hierarchical structure with four dimensions and 19 criteria was proposed based on literature review and personal interviews. Sourcing results from an AHP survey indicates that policies and laws are perceived as the most crucial factors influencing development of the organic agricultural products supply chain in Taiwan, followed by manufacturing capability, marketing capability, and logistics capability. Overall, results indicate that the five most critical criteria influencing development of the organic agricultural products supply chain in Taiwan are organic agricultural products approval and certification, capital acquiring, improving cultivated skills, establish stable system of distribution, and transparent and reasonable pricing. It is important to note that government and related authorities also put more effort in temperature control and post-harvest handling. Therefore, logistics capability is also a critical factor influencing development of the organic agricultural products supply chain in Taiwan whereas few previous studies have discussed this issue.

Abstract

Recently, the issue of international students’ perceptions on service quality offered by Malaysian public universities has been debated among practitioners and academicians. The international students may experience different educational services in the host country compared to their home country due to cultural and values differences. In addition, the existing research has reported that the perceptions of international students towards services at Malaysian public universities are only at moderate level. Thus, the aim of this research is to determine the perceptions of international students towards service quality at Malaysian public universities according to world geographical regions, namely Asia, Middle East, and Africa. This research was conducted at Malaysian public universities. An online questionnaire was utilized as a research instrument. The stratified sampling technique was applied to gather the data among international students. The descriptive and one-way ANOVA techniques were performed to analyze the data. Based on the mean results, the Asian students were more satisfied with service offered by Malaysian public universities. The one-way ANOVA analysis result revealed the perceptions of international students towards service quality experienced at Malaysian public universities is significantly different across Asia, Middle East, and Africa regions. This research has an important implication for practitioners. Knowledge concerning the concept of service quality will assist practitioners to manage the service delivery at Malaysian public universities from the international students’ perspectives.

Abstract

The previous studies on technical efficiency (TE) of the soft drinks industry in Malaysia are still under consideration from other industries and existing studies discuss the industry in general. In fact, there is a previous study using industry-level data and does not consider the determinants of technical inefficiency determining the TE level. The purpose of this study is to identify the technical efficiency level and the technical inefficiency of the soft drinks manufacturing industry in Malaysia by 2015 using cross-section data of 118 firms obtained from the Department of Statistics (DOS). Based on the analysis method of stochastic analysis (SFA), the results showed that the level of technical efficiency was high. As a result, inefficient technical analysis finds that salary rates reduce inefficiencies and the ratio of capital workers increases inefficiencies. The basic implication of this study is that soft drinks manufacturing firms need to increase motivation among employees and strengthen network market production through pay increases.

Abstract

This study was conducted to investigate the influence of Research and Development (R&D) in producing a safer car by investigating the manufacturing safety behaviors among employees of the manufacturing company. The quantitative method of data collection was utilized to collect the data among these employees and fifty-two respondents covering different age groups, educations levels and positions in the company had answered the survey. The main statistical analysis such as Pearson Correlation and Multiple Regression was used to analyze this data gathered by using SPSS software. Based on the statistical results, the research finding displays a significant relationship between R&D and manufacturing safety behavior among automotive manufacturing employees. To conclude, R & D is one of the crucial factors for every automotive manufacturer to make sure the car produced are at the highest safety level.
