Abstract

Illicit Financial Flows (IFFs) are a major challenge to Africas democratic governance. They have a direct impact on a countrys stability to raise, retain and mobilize its own resources to finance sustainable economic development. GFI (2017) finds that IFFs remain persistently high. The study finds that over the period between 2005 and 2014, IFFs on average accounted for between 14.1 percent and 24.0 percent of the total developing country trade, while outflows were estimated at 4.6 percent to 7.2 percent of total trade and inflows were between 9.5 percent and 16.8 percent. The problem with IFFs is that they are not only illicit but that their effect spreads far beyond their immediate area of occurrence. Millions of people are affected, economies are weakened, and development is stagnated, while a shady few accumulate wealth and influence. Financial flows are crucial for poor countries and have played an important role in most African countries that have made developmental progress. Since not all financial flows are good for development, the integration of poor countries into the global financial system poses opportunities as well as risks. IFFs usually facilitate most of these risks and have an overall negative impact on African countries.

Abstract

Online shopping, also known as e-tailing, is gaining importance every day. There are more people who are using the internet to make apurchase than ever before. This has resulted in competition between online retailers and physical stores. The literature on the subject brings out that perceived product quality influences online purchase intention. In fact perceived product quality is agauge of consumer purchase conduct once consumers have evaluated the product. However, efforts to promote the products by sellers face skepticism of potential buyers which ultimately affects purchase intention. Consumers have diverse shopping orientations which influence purchase intention and price is one of them. It is true that the buyers expect the prices to be lower when buying online but this is also true that in thecase of customized and conspicuous consumption price plays a limited role. For the customized products buyers are willing to pay extra. The data for this project was collected with the help of a questionnaire. The questions were constructed with the help of published literature and standardized statements were considered. A five point Likert type scale was used to get responses.Reliability and validity tests were run on the constructs for testing the consistency before multiple regression was employed to arrive at results. The results show that perceived product quality, price orientation and skepticism towards online promotion have a significant effect on online Purchase intention

Abstract

Abstract- Performance assessment of supply chain management can be helpful in managing. One of the new approaches in this area is the use of a balanced scorecard that addresses the supply chain management strategy as a set of essential goals. Balanced Scorecard has no control role and its criteria do not apply to describing past performance. Rather, these criteria are a tool for explaining the organization's strategy and, by integrating and coordinating activities at its various levels, enables the achievement of organizational goals. In this paper, the supply chain literature and performance evaluation of supply chain management have been investigated first. The aim of this study is to establish a sustainable balanced scorecard for the selected population with the inclusion of resources, objectives, indicators, measures, issues and dimensions of the sustainability of Iraqi universities using the philosophy of strategic planning following a scientific and modern manner. Through the diagnosis of strengths and weaknesses following by a proposed treatment, the card is designed to improve the efficiency of the resources at the Faculty of Management and Economics in University of Mustansiriya. The study concludes that what is needed to ensure the assessment of the performance and integration of the dimensions of sustainability no longer in accordance with the modern methods and techniques. Also, the most important of the planning process of the College of Management and Economics is to identify the strength and weakness of their positions and by comparing the actual reality of the quality standards of higher education organizations and improve the efficiency of their resources.

Also, uncertainty in the working environment positively manages the relationship between transformational leadership and supply chain learning. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of transformational leadership in the creative behavior of decision makers in the supply chain management of Directorate of Public Traffic. The research problem was formulated in several questions focused on the statement of impact among its variables. The statistical program (SPSS) was used to analyze the data. The results are the most important: to drive the transformational leadership (ideal influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual arousal, individual legalism), which together have a significant effect on the creative behavior of the research sample members, and thus increase the attention to the positive strengths that form the transformational leadership contributes to the support and development of creative behavior of the organization, in question, to keep pace with progress in their field.
