Abstract

Cash reserves of bank, including bill, coins and check, which are used for daily operation of customers, shall be managed so that in spite of covering the risk of liquidity, arising from cash deficit, the cost of cash excess stagnation is minimized. Therefore, the aim of this study is to optimize the remained cash of banks branches fund. To determine the optimum limit of money in the funds, we used two approaches of time series and propagation model 4 and prediction was conducted monthly and seasonally. The function of possible distribution of deposits and withdrawals of branch customers' cash and required net liquidity as well as the function of time distribution of cash deposit and withdrawal were used in the propagation model. The used data were daily gathered in the time intervals of 2016-2017 from the selected branches. Using the conducted stimulation, in addition to determine the optimal limit of money maintenance in fund, money limit was 25% reduced in comparison with current situation.

Abstract

Budgeting and supply chain management is in principle the allocation of resources and requires selection and prioritization. In this research, the factors affecting the implementation of the activity-based costing method in the budgeting of the various governmental organizations, has been investigated. The current study is an applied research and this research is a cross-sectional and descriptive-analytic study that utilizes a questionnaire to collect information. The statistical population of the study consisted of governmental organizations that had some kind of state budget in 2016. The results of the research indicate that in 60 governmental organizations, other than the ability to evaluate performance, other requirements are not required to implement the activity-based costing method in the operational budgeting, including employee empowerment, technical feasibility, legitimacy (legal, procedural and organizational legitimacy), and acceptability (political acceptability, management, and consistency of incentives). Based on the findings of the present study, in the governmental organizations studied, the effective factors necessary for performance-based costing in operational budgeting are not yet available. However, without using the new methods of costing in the operational budgeting, talking about reforms in the budgeting system, and shifting from program to operational budget is a difficult task.

Abstract

With rapid economic development, related social issues have become more prominent than before. How to effectively encourage enterprises to undertake more corporate social responsibility and maintain the sustainable development of society has become an urgent task for managers and researchers to resolve. With respect to decision problems of a retailer-dominated supply chain considering external indebtedness problem under government subsidy, based on game analysis technology, we consider a three-stage Stackelberg game model that consists of the government, a dominant retailer and n suppliers. In spite of the fact that the Iraqi economy is featured by its diverse resources, Iraq is suffering from external indebtedness as a result of incorrect economical policies that have led to increasing the governmental huge spending coincided with fall in governmental revenues, whose sources might be oil export, taxes, or fees, as well as sluggish development. This is as far as the domestic funding of governmental spending, which has created a huge governmental debt on one hand. In addition to that, the wars that Iraq went through and the economic sanctions have led to exacerbate the external indebtedness issue. All of that has resulted in debt accumulation and the incapability of Iraq to repay the debt service. Thus, efficient supply chain management is required for the economy in Iraq to prevent its eruption.

Abstract

Abstract Proper supply chain performance plays a crucial role in the success of the banks. Therefore, it is essential to use an appropriate supply chain performance assessment system to continuously improve it. The political and economic developments have played a major role in bringing about changes in the economic environment in general and in the banking environment in particular, in response to these changes or affected by the changes in the banking environment and the successive developments in the financial and banking arena, which expanded the scope of its banking business both internally and internationally. This has been reflected in increased banking risks and thus the possibility of bank defaults resulting in financial and banking instability. The issue of banking failure management has become increasingly important for banks, and has been included by the Basel Committee as an important aspect of determining bank adequacy. As a result of studying and analyzing various aspects related to banking failure. Hence, the importance of this research is highlighted, as it will shed light on the factors and causes of the phenomenon of bankruptcies and identify and address the weaknesses. By adopting the density function, a model for estimating the exposure of banks to the housing. The research came out with a set of conclusions and recommendations

Abstract

Abstract—The objective of the present study was to investigate the relationship between financial leverage and return on supply chain management and assest of the rural cooperatives. In this study, five ratios have been selected as financial leverage including total debt to total assets, total debt to total shareholders' equity, total long-term debt to total assets, total short-term debt to total assets and total debt to total capital. The return on asset is also calculated from the total debt to annual profit ratio. According to the objective of the research, this work is an applied research and according to the data collection method, it is a descriptive correlational study. The population included all rural cooperatives in the eastern part of the country in which 153 cooperatives were selected using the elimination method. Data analysis and the hypothesis testing were performed by simple linear regression test and using SPSS software. The results showed that three financial leverages have significantly affected the return on assets of the cooperatives which are the total debt to total assets, total long-term debt to total assets, and total short-term debt to total assets ratios. Of these three ratios, the total debt to total assets (-0.304) has the greatest effect on the return in assets of the cooperatives. The two other financial leverage ratios, i.e., the total debt to total shareholders' equity and the total debt to total capital did not have a significant effect on the return on assets of the rural cooperatives in the eastern part of the country. Thus, it is recommended to the cooperatives' Chief Executive Officer to focus more on three ratios of total debt to assets, total long-term debt to total assets, and total short-term debt to total assets in order to increase the return on equity of the cooperative and plan on the financial focus of the cooperative to reduce these ratios based on the efficient supply chain system.

Abstract

Abstract— The current research aims to use the Merrett and Newbould stock equivalent cash model which was developed 1982 to evaluate the shares of listed companies in the stock market. It developed based on the source management by measuring the real value of the shares and using the equivalent cash-share model of the EPS per share instead of the profit dividend for one side that is taking the retained earnings into consideration. The data analysis relied on a set of statistical methods to achieve its objectives and test the validity of its hypotheses, including the standard deviation, the simple linear regression model, the selection coefficient (R2) and T-test for testing research hypotheses. Data have been analysed to extract results using the statistical software called SPSS program, while the Iraq Stock Exchange was selected as a population of the study, and the banking sector was selected as a research sample because it is the most active as compare to other sectors during the period of study (2014 -2017) according to the data published in the directory of the Iraqi stock exchange. The present research reached a number of conclusions, and concluded that it is not possible to apply the equivalent monetary model in the Iraqi financial market, and this is what the real values of the shares calculated according to the model used for current study.

Abstract

This investigation is aimed to shed light on the relationship between dividend policy and ownership structure based on the supply chain strategy in the emerging markets. This study hypothesizes the concept that concentrated foreign ownership have different dividend policy as compared to state-owned companies. Moreover, state ownership is also examined with respect to dividend policy. The phenomenon is explored by using a panel data of 2001 to 2015 of companies listed in Iraqi stock exchange. A strong impact of ownership structure was noticed in dividend policy. Companies with higher government ownership are more tilted to pay cash dividends and create tunneling effect. However, foreign ownership concentrated firms are more likely to pay stock dividends. Further, firms with growth opportunities are likely to pay stock dividends while the negative relationship with growth and cash dividend was noticed. This study has significant policy guidelines for investors, managers and academics. The findings of this study are also significant from emerging market perspective.

Abstract

This article investigates the electronic supply chain capitalism as a model for understanding both the continent-crossing scale and the constitutive diversity of contemporary globalcapitalism based on the Marxism Economy in Russia. The purpose of this work is to give a brief analysis of the development of Marx's doctrine in Western and Russian economic and social science thought, from the late XIX to the early XX centuries. The author presents a brief overview of how the attitude towards Marx and his main work ‘Capital’ changed from the era of his contemporaries to the present time in several main directions. The article also draws attention to the critical attitude of Marx towards Russia. The author emphasizes that Marxism (the conceptual legacy of Marx) became the basis for many doctrines around the world in the twentieth century. Karl Marx became popular not only as a great economist, but also as a sociologist, a creator of the doctrine of the downfall of capitalism and coming revolution, and a forecaster-futurist. The author in his article refers to various sources - from monographs of famous scientists to interviews published in press and online sources by representatives of various social strata. The author comes to the conclusion that at the present moment interest in Marx and his teaching persists in three main planes: among academics, in the left-wing radical environment and at the level of common interest, the latter, in crisis years, gaining momentum. The author also emphasizes that interest in Marx and his teaching was manifested regionally in different planes; Marx as an economist was more popular in the West and as a futurist and revolutionary thinker in the East. The continued constant interest in Marx and his works throughout the world testifies by considering the electronic supply chain management which is teaching of Marx still remains relevant.

Abstract

To develop new and successful products, supply chain management can be efficient way as a multidisciplinary process. It appears logical to consider that some elements, such as fast changes in technology, a flexible process of production, and international rivalry, have a direct relationship across various knowledge sources and are more necessary for introducing timely and profitable new products. Our main emphasis is to make a comparative assessment forthe role of decomposed attributes of complexity level in new project development (NPD) and internal abilities to choose partnership as dominant mode for external collaboration in different phases of NPD, by using supply chain management design across 125 NPD projects in low technology-intensive SMEs in Spain. The results provide support for the role of absorptive capacity and different dimensions of project complexity in developing a co-development strategy (Partnership) in different phases of NPD projects.
