Abstract

The term Salafi, at glance, is paradox because the term with the meaning referring to al-Qur’an and the tradition, is held by all Islamic schools, but, when it indicates the certain ideology in Islam with rigid, radical and terror characteristics, other Islamic ideologies avoid it. The term, thus, is interesting to research with offering the following main questions: what is the real meaning of Salafi and how is the term to be constructed as the ideology and sole meaning? Answering this, the research proposes a logical and philosophical approach, especially with the primary essential predication (ḥaml al-awwalī adz-dzātī) and the common technical predication (ḥaml asy-syāīʿ ash-shināʿī) methods.Furthermore, the term Salafi may be delineated as referring to what has been before, mā qad salaf, that is, companion era, followers (Tābiʿūn), and following the followers (Tābiʿ Tābiʿīn) era, according to the primary essential predication. However, the common technical predication shows the variative meaning for Salafi. Some define it with rigid, literal and radical while others accommodate it inclusively, “smoother and more polite”. The contestation among the meaning, then, has constructed the current meaning of Salafi as the school with certain ideology such as literal, radical and rigid characteristics.

Abstract

Poverty is a multidimensional problem that is faced by many developing countries. Poverty in Indonesia is caused by many factors such as limitation of physical, psychological resources,and  economic access. According to Yusuf Qaradawi, to overcome poverty, charity  is the first goal and become the main purpose of zakat. This study tried to assess the impact of zakat in alleviating poverty  and making zakat as a productive source  for the development of micro-enterprises that are expected to realize the main purpose of the charity which is the welfare of society. This research is a case study using a sample of “Ovi” Laundry business as one of the businesses that are considered capable of evolving with ZIS funds provided by BAZNAS city of Banjarmasin. These results indicate that internal factors (accuracy in planning, careful in spending, consequence of developing the business, intention to be independent, and regular cash flow) and external factors (capital loan of BAZNAS) greatly affects the performance of the business and business continuity of Ovi Laundry. The success of this effort demonstrated by the indicators is perceived and  recognized by the owner who is  able to pay for everyday household, the education of her children and save for the future.

Abstract

Syariah banking in Indonesia is experiencing significant developments, including assets, financial services, and the number of customers. Haj funds is a financial service using a contract of qard or ijarah given to prospective pilgrims in an effort to obtain the portion number of Hajj or Biaya Perjalanan Ibadah Haji (BPIH). The implementation of this product gives a positive and negative impression, so the legitimacy of the product and the consequences of its implementation need to be reviewed. This article will explain the implementation of the Hajj Fund of Bank Mega Syariah Branch Pekanbaru and revisit the Islamic Law on the implementation of these products. The purpose of this research is to facilitate the implementation of Hajj Funds products as well as to get a legitimate status of product. The results of this study shows that the akad/contract itself has a great risk of hidden usury because in this contract there is a merger between akad qard and ijarah by requiring additional benefits as a service and the amount of the benefit  depends on the amount and the length of loan. In fiqh muamalah, it is mentioned that that any profitable loan is riba. Perbankan Syariah di Indonesia mengalami perkembangan signifikan, termasuk aset, pembiayaan yang diberikan dan jumlah pelanggan. Dana haji adalah pembiayaan dengan menggunakan kontrak qard atau ijarah yang diberikan kepada calon jemaah haji dalam upaya mendapatkan porsi jumlah Haji atau Biaya Perjalanan Ibadah Haji (BPIH). Penerapan produk ini memberi kesan positif dan negatif, sehingga perlu meninjau tentang legitimasi produk dan konsekuensi yang dihasilkan dalam pelaksanaannya. Karena artikel ini akan menjelaskan pelaksanaan Dana Haji Bank Mega Syariah Cabang Pekanbaru dan peninjauan kembali Hukum Islam tentang pelaksanaan produk tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini agar pelaksanaan produk Dana Haji selain untuk memudahkan pelanggan dalam melakukan ziarah, tetapi juga mendapatkan status legitimasi produk. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah validitas akadnya yang sangat berisiko untuk terjerembab ke riba yang tersembunyi, karena dalam kontrak ini ada penggabungan antara akad qard dan ijarah dengan membutuhkan manfaat tambahan sebagai layanan, bahkan jumlahnya tergantung pada jumlah pinjaman dan panjang pinjaman. Dalam fiqh muamalah diketahui kaedah bahwa "Setiap piutang yang untung atau lebih adalah riba"

Second, rhe male inheritance is as strong as the female one. Third, the subsiihrte heir (mawali) always inherirs, is never obstructd by other heirs. For example, a grandchild can inherit rogelher wiih the child when the parents pass away before the gandfitther, and ihe part that they receive is. as nucb as their pa.rents would receive (if still alive). The existence of mawali can reflect th faimess. Kalalal is a condition *hen a person passes away without leaving any descendent, that is anl direct descendent. either son or daughter.

Abstract

To understand the Islam in South Borneo through politics and government aspect must be started from the beginning of Banjar Kingdom as the first islamic kingdom in South Borneo. The Banjar kingdom found by Raden Samudera titled Sultan Suriansyah in the couple of 1525 M. The leader of Banjar Kingdom put Islam as the state official religion. In 1860 M, the Banjar kingdom was dismissed by the collonial dutch government. Since that time, the muslim people in south Borneo had no rule in politic and government. When Indonesia declared his independence and did the general election in 1955s, the political aspiration of muslim people given to Nadhatul Ulama and Masyumi while the next general election (1971-1997), the votes of Islamic party decreased slowly.

Abstract

This paper explores the life stories of Sumambing Kandangan, Hulu Sungai Selatan. Stories of life Sumambing in this paper are grouped into eschew attitude in the sense of guilt and shame, simple and silly, and not ill-natured. Values of real stories of Sumambing are: (1) Acts Sumambing humor is a story of resistance to become a porno movie urang Banjar stigma; (2)patienty; (3) naughtiness does not have to be faced with anger because the anger that is the the goal naughties; (4) recognize the error. Errors should not be hidden but the climb will show greatness of the soul; and (5) resistance to general public attitudes. Sumambing show the attitude of the people that society in general does not always have to be a precedent and followed.

Abstract

The Banjar community, which consists of the Banjar ethnic group, is referred to as a tribe that overlaps between ethnic and religious identities. When mentioned with the word "Banjar", it will be imagined the word "Islam" accompanies it. The inherent stamp of "Banjar Islam" shows a certain religious dimension in it which is certainly different from other Muslims. This article is presented to illustrate the typology of religious reasoning of Banjar people who are associated with the label of Banjar Islam in front of them. It should be noted that far from the arrival of Islam, Banjar people also developed the belief in animism-dynamism followed by Hinduism and Buddhism. It was thanks to the role of the Banjar Sultanate that the Banjar community became the Banjar Islam. In the end, a shift in reason also occurred in the religious constructs of the Banjar community in line with social changes. This paper is a literature study that relies on descriptive methods in its presentation and psycho-socio-historical approach as the knife of analysis. This article explains that there are at least 4 types of reasoning that developed in Banjar since the era of animism and dynamism until after the entry of religious movements in the 20th century, namely mystical-realist, mystical-idealist, literalist-normative, and traditionalist-critical. The development of the religious reasoning of the Banjar community did not occur linearly, but rather overlapping.Masyarakat Banjar yang terdiri dari etnis Banjar disebut sebagai suku yang bertumpang-tindih antara identitas kesukuan dan identitas keagamaannya. Ketika disebutkan dengan kata Banjar, maka akan terbayang kata Islam menyertainya. Cap “Islam Banjar” yang melekat menunjukkan adanya suatu dimensi keberagamaan tertentu di dalamnya yang tentunya berbeda dengan Islam-Islam lainya. Artikel ini dihadirkan untuk menggambarkan tipologi nalar beragama masyarakat Banjar dikaitkan dengan adanya label Islam Banjar di depannya. Perlu diketahui bahwa jauh kedatangan Islam, di Banjar pun juga berkembang kepercayaan animisme-dinamisme yang disusul agama Hindu dan Buddha. Berkat peran kesultanan Banjarlah masyarakat Banjar menjadi Islam Banjar. Pada akhirnya, pergeseran nalar pun juga terjadi dalam konstruk keberagamaan masyarakat Banjar seiring perubahan sosial kemasyarakatan. Tulisan ini adalah kajian kepustakaan yang mengandalkan metode deskriptif dalam pemaparannya dan pendekatan psiko-sosio-historis sebagai pisau analisisnya. Artikel ini menjelaskan bahwa setidaknya ada 4 tipologi nalar yang berkembang sejak animisme dan dinamisme hingga pasca masuknya gerakan keagamaan di abad 20, yaitu mistis-realis, mistis idealis, literalis normatif, dan tradisionalis-kritis. Perkembangan nalar kekeberagamaan masyarakat Banjar tidak terjadi evolusi linier, namun lebih bersifat overlapping.

Abstract

The Text of Sakrat al-Maut written by Abdurrauf Assingkili that was collected along with the text of Syar?b al-?syiq?n written by Syekh Hamzah Fansuri and the text of Hujjatus Shidd?q written by Syekh Nuruddin Arranir as well as other writings in the manuscript of Nagara strengthens the influence of the Islamic scholars on Islamic studies in Banjar. Philologically, this manuscript was regarded as a copy made in the 19th century, and it was not the initial manuscript written by Sheikh Abdurrauf in the 17th century. The circulation of Sakrat al-Maut manuscripts is not widespread. It is evident with the minimal number of manuscripts that were found / recorded in the catalog. In Banjar, the teachings contained in the manuscript text of Sakrat al-Maut is not fully adopted by next Banjar scholars.

Abstract

This study focusedon the spirituality values in paintingsof Amang Rahman Jubair, particularly from the perspective of the sufi aesthetics. Amang Rahman (1931-2001) was an Indonesian painter which has a deeply awareness of God's presence, and have a concept of art which he called Jamal, Kamal and Jalal—embodied by the sweat, blood and tears, which means sacrifice, devotion and love to the Creator and His creatures. Forms of this study is a qualitative field research by using descriptive analytical method and approach of Sufi Aesthetics. The sources is the family and closest-friends of Amang Rahman, a few paintings and journalistic articles and Indonesian art critics writings of his works. This study suggests that Amang Rahman is a sufi in a modern world. Experiences and attitudes totality of his life proving his devotion to both the art and life itself intact. In the works of his art reflected awareness of space and the cosmos that represents nature imajinal ('alam al-khayal), traditions and symbols of Sufism.

Abstract

This research is intended to find out the form, the meaning and the function of the lyrics of Banjarese Lullabies. The method used is descriptive qualitative using Ricoeur's hermeneutic approach to understand the lyrics in Banjarese Lullabies. This study found that (1) the lyrics of Banjarese Lullabies have two forms; free and bound forms; (2) the meaning of the lyrics of the lyrics of Banjarese Lullabies contains request, prayer, education, introduction of religion, and advice, (3) the function of the lyrics of Banjarese Lullabies are referential function, expressive function, directive function and aesthetic function. This research also indicates that the similar research should be carried out continously to prevent the lyrics of Banjarese Lullabies from extinction.
