Abstract

Tijaniyah tarekat including one fast-growing tarekat in South Kalimantan. At first the congregation is growing in South Kalimantan in 1995, brought by KH Ahmad Ansari is based in the city of Banjarmasin, then spread to various areas in South Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan and even into the Bangkas island. In South Kalimantan there are 21 tarekat and majelis taklim 4 shrines, with the number of followers of about 15,000 people. Tijaniyah congregation has its own characteristics when compared with other tarekat, namely: a) it takes a new format of tarekat, because Ahmad at-Tijani did not require his followers showed the attitude of excessive piety, and he emphasizes the presence of an interpreter intercessor between man and God. It was Ahmad at-Tijani itself. b) It has simple and clear wirid; c) Ahmad at-Tijani recognition reaches two positions, namely as a guardian Qutbb al-Aqthab and khatm al-Waliyah; d) prohibits its followers to follow as membership other institutes; e) it has no pedigree. Even if there are genealogy is shorter than the other tarekat, and f) this tarekat prohibits its followers to smoke because it is considered as najis.

Abstract

Sarekat Islam (SI) merupakan organisasi Islam Indonesia pertama yang pada awalnya berkembang pesat dan sangat cepat, bahkan sekaligus terkesan sangat missal dan kolosal. Namun anehnya kemajuan itu tak bertahan lama, secara cepat juga kemudian mengalami kemerosotan bahkan kemunduran yang sangat panjang, tak tau entah kapan bisa bangkit kembali meraih masa kejayaannya dahulu. Rupanya pada waktu berdirinya SI, pada satu sisi tepat momentumnya, pada sisi yang lain tokoh pimpinannya yang muncul peka dalam menangkap momentum tersebut sehingga mampu mengolah dan mengaktualkannya dengan baik sebagai pergerakan yang dahsyat dan mengejutkan. Di samping didukung adanya sikap netralitas institusi dan pemimpinnya terhadap berbagai ideologi dan aliran keagamaan. Sebaliknya, ketika SI sudah tidak bersikap netral lagi dan para pimpinannya sudah kehilangan elan vital kepekaannya dalam menangkap tanda-tanda zaman, maka terjadilah krisis yang panjang dan tidak diketahui kapan berakhir. Fenomena seperti ini melanda juga SI di Kalimantan Selatan. Meskipun sempat besar dengan aktifitas berbagai macam bidang terutama bidang pendidikan, sosial, politik dan ekonomi, tapi hal itu tak berjalan lama, hanya beberapa tahun, sesudah itu terpuruk karena terlalu jauh memasuki wilayah politik. Begitulah keberadaan SI secara keseluruhan, termasuk SI di Kalimantan Selatan, kejayaannya hanyalah nostalgia yang menghanyutkan, sebab dalam kenyataannya SI sampai sekarang tak mampu untuk bangkit. Memang masih ada tapi hanya papan nama, kecil sekali yang dalam ungkapan Arab wujuduhu kaadamihi, adanya seperti tidak adanya.

Abstract

This article presents the research methodology of hadith in the motivation books in Malaysia. There are ten books have been collected and 149 of hadith that have been research in this study. However, the researchers only studied 123 hadith, while 26 hadith are repeated. Based on the analysis of the status of 123 hadith, the researchers found 75 hadith were rated as maqbul hadith (Sahih and hasan), 42 hadith have had on the chain (sanad), and the remaining 6 hadith undetermined status. This study is a contribution to the writing of Islamic studies to enable the reader to know the status of the hadith set forth in motivational books whether it is accepted or rejected. In addition, this study also provides a set of guidelines for writers of motivational books genre to present hadith into their works. It would be beneficial to authors who have no background in Islamic studies and studies of hadith in producing better quality.

Abstract

This article aims to explain the influences of sufism on Banjarese culture. The description is regarded important owing to tha fact that first arrival of Islam in this region in 16th century can be not separated from the role of sufism and sufi orders in Islamic intellectual discourses in Indonesia commonly. The existence of Islam, therefore, as etnic identity of this society necessarily was coloured of sufism in its character. This article concludes that the influences of sufism on Banjarese culture were reflected in social attitudes towards traditional ceremonies and social costums based on religious spiritual background.

Abstract

Para pakar sejarah sepakat bahwa sekularisasi di Eropa Barat telah terjadi sejak 250 tahun yang lalu. Seiring berjalannya waktu, sekularisasi telah dianggap sebagai krisis besar bagi Kristen dan dunia Barat. Di dunia Timur, khususnya dunia Islam sekularisasi sudah terjadi dibeberapa tempat. Hal tersebut terjadi setelah masa kolonialisasi negeri-negeri Islam oleh bangsa Eropa. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, penulis tertarik untuk meneliti sekularisasi yang terjadi di dunia Timur lainnya, yaitu China. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh adalah sekularisasi yang terjadi dapat dilihat dalam dua bentuk, yaitu peniadaan kesucian dan kewibawaan agama daripada politik (desacralization of politics) dan penghapusan kesucian dan kemutlakan nilai-nilai daripada kehidupan (deconsecration of values). Selain itu, paham Marxisme-Leninisme memberikan andil besar pada proses sekularisasi di China.

Abstract

Khitan is called circumcision in english. It is the surgical removal of the foreskin from the penis. In Banjarese society, circumcisions celebration is called basunat. Basunat as rite of passage is one of important stages for Banjareses life. Socially, the tradition maintains the collectiveness and integration of Banjarese society. According to anthropology view, basunat may be understood as a liminal condition. Liminal is a condition of betwixt and between. In this condition, subject of rite experiences a formed stage. Furthermore, according to philosophy view, the tradition reflects the exsistence of human being and its relation with other existences.

Abstract

Hadith is the second source of knowledge for Muslims after the Qur'an. The proclamation of a hadith needs to be extracted, to provide power for the development of science because it really comes from the words, actions and taqrir of Prophet Muhammad SAW. In the context of education, there are many hadiths that can serve as the basis of developing the subject of educational evaluation. Based on the study of hadith contained in this article, it is found a hadith history at-Tirmidhi which explains the virtue of honesty and get away from the nature of lies. In addition to the results of research, sanad and matan hadith,  this hadith is sahih because the aspect of the content of the hadith does not conflict with the Qur'an and other sahih hadiths. In this article it is also found the meaning of hadith and its implications for the development of educational evaluation that can provide treasures for educators in carrying out the assessment process in learning.Hadis merupakan sumber pengetahuan kedua bagi umat muslim setelah al-Qur’an, kehujjahan sebuah hadis perlu digali sehingga memberikan kekuatan bagi pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan karena memang benar-benar berasal dari ucapan, tindakan maupun taqrir Nabi Muhammad SAW. Dalam konteks pendidikan khususnya evaluasi banyak hadis yang dijadikan sumber landasan pengembangan evaluasi. Berdasarkan penelitian hadis yang ada di dalam artikel ini, didapati sebuah hadis riwayat at-Tirmidzi yang menjelaskan keutamaan kejujuran dan menjauhi sifat kebohongan. Hadits ini bernilai shohih karena secara jalur sanad tidak ada yang terputus dan dari aspek isi hadits tidak bertentangan dengan al-Qur’an dan hadits-hadits shohih lainnya. Selain hasil penelitian sanad dan matan hadits. Di dalam artikel ini juga didapati makna hadis serta implikasinya terhadap pengembangan evaluasi pendidikan yang dapat memberikan khazanah bagi pendidik dalam melaksanakan proses penilaian dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

This writing is based on the research on Hizbuttahrir of South Kalimantan in historical perspective. From the research found that the coming of Hizbuttahrir in South Kalimantan started in 1990 by the two activist, Reza Rosadi and Ismanto. For the first time, Hizbuttahrir introduced through the discussion club or halaqah around campus. Later, it became the religion movement. The issues that developed by Hizbuttahrir of South Kalimantan is the enlightement of the society religion that they are able to practice the Islam totally in any life perspective.
