Abstract

Indonesia with its pluralities is one of the largest multicultural countries in the world. The pluralities include living religions such as Islam, Christianity, Hindu, Buddha, Kong Hu-chu, and variety of indigenous local beliefs. In Indonesia, keeping religious tolerance is a necessity to ensure social stability from ideological coercion and physical clashes among different communities. Thus, religious difference is not only a blessing but also a recognition and respect of someone toward other faiths and work together in virtue. Of the main findings that difference in religious beliefs is not a driving factor for mutually demeaning, mutually humiliating, or confusing one religion with another. Plurality is an indisputable reality in this archipelago. Therefore, the community must have an attitude for the realization of tolerance in order to yield harmony among religious adherents. The importance of tolerance is to maintain stability, harmony, and tolerance, wisdom, and social benefits. The result of this research is to increase religious harmony in Indonesia by implementing religious tolerance in daily life. With mutual tolerance, it will create a beautiful and peaceful life.

Abstract

Humans can adjust the way they dress to manage information about their identity. Veiled women in Indonesia often experience negative stigmatization and discrimination. This is due to the fact that the veil is close to the purification of Islam, the appearance of radical Islamic identity, and events of terrorism. Some of these casuistic facts are often generalized to all veiled women. This study looks at the response of a group of veiled women on Instagram in responding to terrorism cases in front of the Makassar Cathedral Church and at the Jakarta Police Headquarters at the end of March 2021, the perpetrators involving veiled women. Instagram has given birth to a new reality in expressing religious beliefs. This research using virtual ethnography method shows about a group of veiled women who use Instagram to display a positive image. The results of observations on several Instagram accounts of women with veils, it appears that this symptom is a form of expression of popular Islamic culture which has moderate and restless views with a negative stigma on the clothes they wear. Through texts, photos and videos uploaded to Instagram, they narrate their open views and do not want to be associated with radicalism. When there are terrorism cases involving women who wear the veil, they are more active in uploading an explanation that the veil is not a radical identity.

Abstract

This study discuss the views of Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia (HTI) regarding religious pluralism. HTI as an organization that is sincere in interpreting the Qur'an literally and firmly rejects religious pluralism, which many people agree on as a concept that must be applied in Indonesia. This is a logical consequence where Indonesia is inhabited by various religions bound by a sense of unity in Pancasila and Bhinneka Tunggal Ika. For HTI, this is a failure of the state to build and maintain the unity that Islam should bind through a single power (Khilafah Islamiyah). This concept has been widely criticized by scholars based on two approaches, namely the Qur'an and sociological. Clearly, the Qur'an has acknowledged the existence of pluralism through the existence and truth of the books before the Qur'an, the acknowledgment of prophets and apostles other than the 25 people, as well as the acknowledgment of the Qur'an for the existence of other religions. HTI's rejection of pluralism was also refuted by HTI's own inconsistencies as the attitude of rejecting globalization but acting as a player of globalization, the attitude of rejecting democracy but taking advantage of the openness of freedom of opinion as a result of democracy, and  the attitude of blaming the system of liberalism and secularism as the factors that give rise to deviant religious sects are purely psychological and sociological factors.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital media is in line with the fast and large amount of information and news that is obtained by the public. The news that spreads can be fake news or hoaxes. This hoax itself can shake the view of the reader which is finally able to cause different views, divisions, and commotion in the community. Hoaxes regarding Covid-19 and vaccinations certainly play a very large role in the implementation of preventing Covid-19 from being hampered or even failing. Reflecting on this, it is necessary to socialize digital literacy as a form of education about the nature of tabayyun. This research was conducted in Dadapan, Wonokerto, Turi, Sleman with the aim of seeing how the impact of socialization on public awareness of the news from digital media that they read. Qualitative research with narrative data analysis was carried out and produced data that there was a change in people's behavior from before the socialization was given, namely those who initially did not comply with health protocols to become concerned and responsive in suppressing the spread of Covid-19 by implementing health protocols.

Abstract

The existence of the Covid-19 pandemic is the background for holding this research, in which health protocols prohibit and limit activities that gather large numbers of people. This also has an impact on religious activities such as da'wah which require alternative solutions, because previously it was carried out face-to-face and gathered. The alternative offered in this study is through the social media platform Youtube. The purpose of this study is to analyze whether the Youtube platform is effectively used for preaching and to find out the methods applied in da'wah through the Youtube platform. This study uses a qualitative method, where data is collected from reliable sources such as explanations of the Qur'an and Hadith. The results of this study indicate that da'wah through the Youtube platform in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic has several advantages compared to conventional da'wah. Youtube has many advantages, such as being widely accessed by various groups in terms of sharing video content. Youtube and da'wah also have a relationship with segmentation that both target audiences. In this case, it is hoped that ustaz, scholars, and preachers can use Youtube media by using the available features. This also needs to be followed by good and correct da'wah methods in accordance with Islamic teachings.

Abstract

Bendosari Eduwisata Fruit Garden is a natural laboratory assisted by the Center for Development and Community Service, a work unit under the auspices of the Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM) of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. This research is a guide in the further development of the master plan for the Bendosari Eduwisata Fruit Garden in the design development phase, before entering the final phase, namely the final master plan in the form of construction documents. The methodology used is descriptive qualitative research method. The initial stage is carried out by conducting interviews and focus group discussions with garden managers and the surrounding community. Then proceed with conducting a site analysis and study of precedents. Based on the collected data, a schematic master plan is then designed which is composed of site analysis and programming, adjusting to the needs and surrounding conditions. The Bendosari area is prepared to become an urban green space area that is resilient or able to withstand any situation such as the current Covid-19 pandemic. This design focuses on community empowerment through a participatory approach and learning together which aims to prosper the community around the orchard area, both in terms of economy and environmental health.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this scientific article is to describe the concept of the development of Islamic culture. In addition, this article also describes the concept of Islamic culture, the development of Islamic culture during the Khulafaur Rasyidin era, acculturation of Islamic culture in Indonesia, and the values ​​of Islamic culture. This article aims as literacy material, which is to increase knowledge and understanding of Islamic culture, especially for the milenial generation. The method used for reviewing this article is a literature study. The data obtained were compiled, analyzed, and conclsuded to obtain conclusions regarding the study of literature. The result is that the values ​​of Islamic culture and civilization are important in the life of the academic and intellectual community, the birth of Muslim intellectual thoughts needs to be encouraged with attitude; oriented to devotion and divine truth, think critically and innovatively, work hard, be open, honest, fair, responsible, sincere, and disciplined.

Abstract

This research departs from the not yet optimal role of the BUMDes institution as a village business driver that carries a social mission and commercial mission in the three villages that are the objects of this research, namely Rompo Village, Karumbu Village and Rupe Village. From this, the two main problems to be answered are what is the potential that can be managed for the development of BUMDes business units and how is the strategy for implementing Islamic economics (sharia) in managing BUMDes business. To answer these problems, the researcher uses two analyzes as a theoretical framework, village potential analysis, and SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats). The results of the research analysis are the potential business sectors that deserve to be developed are businesses in the real sector (agriculture, livestock and fisheries), trade, tourism, and agro-industry sectors. While the results of the SWOT analysis recommend (a) S-O Strategy; The BUMDes Business management approach uses Islamic principles with a business unit management strategy based on the real sector and business units of Islamic microfinance institutions. Abstract

One of the determining factors for the success of teaching and learning is the right learning model or method. The Covid-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on the education and learning sector. This study aims to describe the phenomenon of the transformation of the fiqh learning model as well as the inhibiting and supporting factors in class XI MAN 2 Mojokerto. The research method uses qualitative research. The data used are primary data and secondary data. The results of the study resulted: The fiqh learning model during the covid-19 pandemic changed into an online learning model. Online fiqh learning is carried out with the help of several digital media such as e-learning, Google Meet, Google Classroom, Whatsapp group, Quizizz, Camtasia studio, and Renderforest as well as the availability of madrasa digital libraries to support maximum learning. The teacher provides materials and assignments through the application. Then students deposit the results of their assignments through the application or via e-mail. The application of this online learning model has supporting and inhibiting factors that must be addressed wisely by all authorized parties, in this case teachers, students, parents, and schools, so that learning objectives are achieved optimally.

Abstract

One of the richness of Indonesian culture is reflected in the diversity of traditional local foods that are consumed by the community. Along with the times, the existence of most local food is increasingly threatened. One of them is Kipo, a traditional snack from Yogyakarta. As the first step to preserve it, this article explores in-depth to get to know Kipo and find out the opportunities and challenges faced to survive as one of the typical snacks from Yogyakarta. Based on empirical research (Field Research) with data collection through interviews, observations, and literature studies, it was found that Kipo is one of the traditional snacks of Kotagede which has historical and cultural values. Its existence has the potential to be developed into an attraction for culinary tourism activities. To make this happen, it takes the cooperation of the government and local residents to rebrand the Kipo. And what should not be left behind is utilizing mass media and the internet to support the process of information dissemination and promotion
