Abstract

Small Medium Enterprises (SME) play an important role in the economic growth of Indonesia, and it was no exception in Sleman Regency, D.I. Yogyakarta province. This study aims to investigate and to recommend factors driving SME success by using formal concept analysis (FCA). Eleven factors and 36 subfactors were found based on the literature study to be further tested against a dataset based on interviews of 14 SMEs from seven different business sectors. With 95 attribute values from the attribute scaling process, the FCA results showed 641 concepts and concept lattice visualizations. Using a support threshold of 64%, seven intents were found to be more important, while other intents not included in the iceberg concept lattices were considered to be less important. The findings show that five factors (i.e., customers, products, human resources, networks, and external influences) play more important roles in driving SME success in Sleman Regency than the other six factors (i.e., characteristics, finance, competitors, market, technology, and government policy).

Abstract

Data regarding huge sales and purchase transactions are stored electronically in company databases. Leave this data alone so it will not have any impact. Lately, many companies provide promo prices to customers to attract customers. However, the decision is suitable to be taken, regardless of sales growth, to not cause more significant losses. The sales show that has been recorded each year in the sales transaction database. This research focuses on implementing data science at a retail company to analyze sales performance using the cohort analytics method to calculate customer retention and perform clustering customer using the K-Means model. As the results, we can conclude that the company has sales performcean about 37.4%, seen from customer retention and the monthly sales volume within one year. There are three groupings produced, namely ID 0, 1, and 2. Customers with Cluster Label 2 are customers with the highest number of transactions compared to other groups.

Abstract

The problems that can be seen in the company are related to performance including there are still employees who have poor performance, seen from some employees who often violate regulations. In addition, there are still employee performance qualities that are not in accordance with the company's expectations, the persistence and hard work of employees at work are still low and have not shown satisfying results for the company. Many employees who are not disciplined in work, such as working hours are often used for resting. From the research results show to improve performance among employees at PT. Permata Hijau Palm Oleo (PHPO) Belawan is made based on criteria For each employee value data consisting of discrete (crisp) values, the simulation value will then be made. The simulation value is a value that represents each quality achievement standard with a value range of 0 – 100. Abstract

The Indonesia government has started to prepare the strategies by setting the new policies regarding the spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19) since the first case was found on March, 2nd 2020. One of those policies is appealing to all government staffs/State C3il Apparatus and pr3ate employees to apply the system of remote working (Work from Home). To support the act3ity of remote working, the employees have been using some applications for online meetings to communicate with colleagues, superiors, and business partners in resolving the workloads without direct physical contacts. These applications needed are Zoom, Google Meet, Skype, and Webex. The writer conducted a study using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to determine the selection of the appropriate application for online meetings according to the priority criteria required by the employees who work at home. AHP method can provide the best order that will produce criteria and alternat3es with the highest values. The research was conducted based on the criteria for application features, ease of use, number of participants, duration of time, bandwidth requirements, and application security. The result for alternat3es with priority results was the Zoom application with the highest value of 0.341 (34.1%), followed by Google Meet with a value of 0.319 (31.9%), Skype with a value of 0.187 (18.7%), and Webex. With a value of 0.153 (15.3%) as the lowest order.

Abstract

"Mahanda" tofu industry is a home industry managed by family members located in the city of Pematangsiantar. The purpose of this research is to analyze the amount of "Mahanda" tofu production using fuzzy logic. Sources of data obtained by conducting interviews and direct observation. Fuzzy logic used is the Sugeno method. The variables used are demand variables, inventory variables, and production variables. Each variable has 3 fuzzy sets, the request variable consists of {down, medium, up}. Inventory variables consist of {few, medium, many}. And the production variable consists of {reduced, tolerable and increased}. The test data results there is a difference of error of 0.19% so that this method can be applied to the "Mahanda" tofu factory in the estimated tofu production for the next period.

Abstract

A good website is a website that is in great demand by users and provides good information to its users. One of the website applications that can be seen is in universities. To measure the quality of the XYZ Institute website, indicators that affect the quality of the website are needed from the point of view of educators, lecturers and students. Therefore, the methods used to measure the quality of the XYZ Institute website are the Webqual and IPA methods. The description of this research is whether there is an effect of the quality of the XYZ Institute website on usability indicators. Is there an effect of the quality of the XYZ Institute website on the indicators of information quality (Information Quality, is there an effect of the quality of the XYZ Institute website on the indicators of service interaction quality), and, is there an effect of the quality of the XYZ Institute website on the overall indicators. Is there an influence on the quality of the XYZ Institute website with a comparison the level of importance and level of performance in the IPA method. There is a significant influence between usability, quality information and service interaction quality on user satisfaction both partially and simultaneously. In the IPA method in developing the Institute website XYZLubuklinggan In quadrant I has an important priority where the indicators in quadrant I are indicators X16 and X17 and this quadrant is not in accordance with user expectations and has a high level of importance. In Quadrant II the XYZha Institute website rus maintains the indicators are X4, X8, X10, X12, X14, X16, X18, in quadrant III can ignore a little of importance the indicators are X1, X2, X3, X5, X11, X15, and quadrant IV are considered to have a low level of importance but the level of performance on this website is considered very good for users whose indicators are X6 and X7.

Abstract

Identification process type of bird lovebird, usually determined by parameters characteristic feather color of birds lovebird. Parameters to define the type of bird lovebird usually done manually by using the sense of sight. This way has a weakness that is, it takes a long time and results in an invalid identification. Based on that weakness, the researcher designed an identification system type of lovebird birds by using the Matlab programming language. Identify the type of lovebird bird conducted by researchers, namely color analysis of lovebird bird feathers. Image data were taken in the form of bird samples, lovebird josan, albino, and lutino by using a DSLR camera and identification algorithm K-means Clustering. The system is divided into two stages, namely the training stage and the testing phase. The training stage uses 30 bird images recognized according to type resulting in an accuracy level of 100%. While The testing phase uses 24 bird images, 22 images of lovebird birds identified according to their type, and two recognizable lovebirds images but not according to its kind resulting in an accuracy level of 91,67%.

Abstract

Education is an effort to develop and develop the potentials possessed by humans because human existence cannot be separated from the environment. One of the institutions to develop human potential is school. school is a center of learning and as a process of socializing and cultivating abilities, values, attitudes, character, and behavior can only occur with conditions of infrastructure, education personnel, curriculum system, and the community environment. SMK Cengkareng 1 is a private educational institution located in West Jakarta. The process of admitting new students at SMK Cengkareng 1 is still done conventionally, where prospective students come to school to register. The new student admission system that occurs at SMK Cengkareng 1 is still inefficient. Because the forms that have been filled in by prospective students must be rewritten into Microsoft Excel, as well as documents that make it difficult for the committee to search for data. One of the efforts to improve the New Student Admissions process and improve services to prospective students, we need a system that can carry out the New Student Admissions process that is not limited by place. One technology that can solve this problem is by utilizing website technology. The Waterfall method is a software development method that allows system building to be carried out in a structured and systematic manner (sequentially) according to the existing development cycle. With this system, it is hoped that it can help prospective students and the committee in the process of admitting new students.

Abstract

XOR cipher is a message randomization algorithm by performing XOR logical operations for plaintext and key so that it becomes a ciphertext. The problem lies in the predictable use of XOR. Therefore, it uses key security using the Three Pass Protocol. This protocol secures communication for each party. The key used for Three Pass Protocol communication is Base64. The Three Pass Protocol scheme for XOR Cipher key security using Base64 has a weakness because it is due to the Base64 encoding process which by default is easy for others to know. So that this research can be developed again to replace Base64 into a better algorithm in terms of security.

Abstract

PT. Dunia Barusa is one of the largest companies in Aceh which is engaged in motorized vehicles or better known as car sales, service and spare parts. As a large company, PT. Dunia Barusa strives to continue to provide better service to its customers and maintain its relationship with its customers and potential customers. However, there are problems in terms of service and vehicle work processes when customer service. The problem is how customers/prospective customers can be served properly and correctly according to predetermined standards. So that is necessary for an application to get the voice of the customer in order to easily know the customer is satisfied or not satisfied after the vehicle is serviced. In this study, researchers used an Android application as a data processing medium to obtain information on customer satisfaction with existing services in Barusa World so that the information system was used as a benchmark in improving quality and meeting customer satisfaction.
