Abstract

Since the end of 2019, the world has experienced a COVID-19 pandemic which affects every aspect of life. To get around and adapt in the new normal era, technology is the main tool that plays a role in changing human interaction behavior from offline to online. This encourages the diffusion of digital technology in society. One of them is the organization of events such as seminars and workshops that must continue to take place from the needs of the community. The platform commonly used in conducting virtual events is Zoom Meeting. However, there are several features that have not been accommodated in Zoom Meeting. In this study, user experience and user interface design for the EventGo visual event application were designed. Design on user experience on Zoom Meeting. Therefore, an evaluation of the UX of the Zoom Meeting application was carried out using UEQ. The UI/UX design of the EventGo application also uses UEQ. From the evaluation results, it was found that there was an increase in the average UX aspect of the EventGo application design.

Abstract

The increase in internet service users in obtaining information and knowledge has made many institutions or organizations begin to create and design websites. One of the institutions that started to build a website is UPT OAIL. In the process of forming the OAIL website, a good User experience (UX) design is needed because it affects user satisfaction in using the website. The analysis and design of user experience in this study uses the Task Centered System Design (TCSD) method. The TCSD method can identify user needs and task needs. The stages in the research are user identification and observation, user and organization requirements analysis, design as scenario and walkthrough evaluate. In this study, identification and observation were carried out by interviewing UPT OAIL staff as well as prospective users. The test is based on the usability method using USE Questionare on the ease of use dimension. The results of the study obtained that the interpretation score for testing the ease of use dimension was 94.2% with the conclusion that the average user or respondent chose the design of each page and the features made were very easy to use.

Abstract

UPTD Sukabumi District Vocational Training Center is a government agency that functions as a training ground for people who want to deepen their expertise in their respective fields. Currently, information services about the training of the UPTD at the Sukabumi District Vocational Training Center have not been presented optimally. Training information in the form of vocational training, training instructors and other data still uses social media such as Facebook to inform services to the public. This becomes a problem because it is less efficient in conveying information and is not comprehensive. This study aims to optimize information services about the training of the UPTD Work Training Center in Sukabumi Regency. To achieve this optimization, a job training information system is needed to make it easier to present training information. This research focuses on training information services that provide convenience in providing information about the vocational openings, training schedule, participant quota and other information related to the UPTD training at the Sukabumi District Vocational Training Center. The approach in this study uses the Zachman Framework approach which was developed using the PHP 7 programming language and MySQL database. The result of this research is a website-based job training information system design.

Abstract

Humans can produce waste every day, both household waste and industrial waste which has various forms and types. Garbage can be a problem because it interferes with human health, causes unpleasant odors and air pollution. Awareness of disposing of waste in its place is currently considered very lacking. This is because trash cans in general still use a simple way, namely by opening and closing manually. In the design of this smart trash can it will facilitate the work of the cleaning agency. In this study, a smart trash can with HC-SR04 sensor was designed using Arduino Uno R3 With the HC-SR04 sensor, it can detect the distance of humans who want to throw away and detect garbage loads. The maximum and minimum distance from the sensor is 10-60 cm to open the lid of the trash can. Data processing uses Arduino Uno R3 with Atmega328p chip which functions as data processing and sending data. The testing process that is carried out periodically produces data in the form of differences in the original distance and the distance read by the sensor with a difference of 0-1 cm, while the minimum and maximum sensor distances are 10-60 cm. This system can also detect the garbage load if it is full and will send a notification in the form of SMS. Another benefit is to make people aware of the importance of health by disposing of waste in its place. The method used is the waterfall method to detect this object is the design method which consists of several stages, namely Requirements Analysis, Design, Circuit Implementation, Test Tools.

Abstract

In particular, Sorong Regency, West Papua, where the availability of veterinarians is still relatively low. The problems that occur in the regency make it difficult for experts to deal with a disease that occurs in livestock, especially cattle. This also makes it difficult for people to diagnose certain diseases experienced by their livestock, so that handling becomes slow and resulting in the risk of death for livestock. This research aims to create an application system to diagnose cattle disease base on android to make it easier for breeders to diagnose symptoms of a disease that occurs in their cattle (cow). The process carried out is by interviewing experts consisting of three paramedics, the results obtained are in the form of disease data, symptoms, and solutions which are used as data on the system. The data that has been analyzed using the Forward Chaining method results in an android-based expert system, help breeders’ difficulties in diagnosing cattle diseases. The results obtained are that the system created to produce a disease that is in accordance with the exiting symptoms. The system is very helpful for farmers in Sorong Regency, they hope that ini the future the system can be updated if there are new diseases or symptoms. The data provided by animal husbandry department and experts are very helpful in this research.`

Abstract

The need for information technology at this time has become an obligation for every company or organization. One that applies the development of information technology is ABC University. ABC University is a university that was founded in 2012 and along with the development of educational infrastructure every year, in 2020 ABC University has just completed the construction of an integrated laboratory building that functions as a place for research, learning, and academic and non-academic activities. This Integrated Laboratory will be used by 17 study programs at ABC University, more than 3000 students as well as lecturers and the academic community. With the limited number of rooms and laboratory assets for a large number of laboratory users, a system that functions to facilitate the use of laboratories is needed, starting from scheduling laboratory use, borrowing laboratory space, and borrowing laboratory equipment, Therefore, an information system needs to be developed in order to meet the needs of the ABC University Integrated Laboratory, namely the ABC University Integrated Laboratory Management Information System (MIS). The method used in developing this Integrated Laboratory SIM is the Scrum method which includes sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint review, and sprint retrospective. Based on 5 iterations during the development process of the Integrated Laboratory MIS, the total backlog items obtained were 65 backlog items. The ABC University Integrated Laboratory MIS has also been hosted on ABC University's servers and can be accessed via the https://labterpadu.itk.ac.id link.

Abstract

Various efforts have been made by the government to tackle the spread of Covid-19 in Denpasar City. Starting from creating a data collection system for Covid-19 patients and a map of the distribution of Covid-19 patients based on villages, which are updated every day and open for access to the general public. In the observations made by researchers, the Denpasar City Government needs to add efforts to organize the distribution of Covid-19 cases, by knowing the characteristics of Covid-19 patients and grouping villages based on similar characteristics so that the distinctive characteristics of each urban village group can be identified in Denpasar City. The problem that will be discussed in this research is how to cluster the distribution of Covid-19 cases using the K-means algorithm. The purpose of this proposed study is to cluster Covid-19 data using the K-Means algorithm. The clustering of the distribution of Covid-19 cases in Denpasar City was successfully carried out using the K-Means algorithm and the number of clusters used was 3, with cluster 0 (Low Cluster) of 16 villages / wards, cluster 2 (Regular Cluster) of 21 villages / wards, and cluster 1 (High Cluster) of 6 villages / wards. Cluster validity was tested using the Davies Bouldin method with the resulting value of -0.522.

Abstract

CV. Aneka Tani is a shop that sells various agricultural equipment. The problems in CV. Aneka Tani are the process of recording transactions that are still done manually with a sales book and there is no sales prediction system. It causes waste of paper, human error in transactions, and bad stock management. The purpose of this research is to predict sales of agricultural equipment, applying the Moving Average algorithm to CV. Aneka Tani’s data to generate sales prediction models, and analyze predictive models. The research method used is the CRISP-DM (Cross Industry Standard Process for Data Mining) which consists of business understanding, data understanding, data preparation, modeling, evaluation, and implementation. The process of collecting data is done by conducting interviews with business owners. There were 6 products used in Moving Average method. The stable product is Dafat with MAD value is 0,9 and MSE value is 1,2. The non stabel product is Phonska with MAD value is 13,6 and MSE value is 245,7.

Abstract

This research is a decision support system for determining the types of drugs that are appropriate for consumption by pregnant women using the Preference Selection Index (PSI) method. The Preference Selection Index (PSI) method is used to determine the types of drugs that are suitable for consumption by pregnant women based on criteria. The results of this study are a decision supporter for determining the types of drugs that are appropriate for consumption by pregnant women, the results of this system are only as initial recommendations to pregnant women in determining drugs that can be consumed without replacing the role of the real doctor because drugs from diseases Pregnant women who are more advanced still need expert doctors in handling them. From the results of the research that has been carried out, to apply the preference selection index method in determining the types of drugs that are suitable for consumption by pregnant women, 5 criteria are set, namely fat solubility, degree of ionization, molecular size, protein binding, dose. So according to the results of the analysis that has been carried out, drugs that are suitable for consumption by pregnant women are Paracetamol with an analytical value of 0.9758. To build a decision support system in determining the types of drugs that are suitable for consumption by pregnant women, the researchers first designed use case diagrams, class diagrams, databases, and built a system with PHP and MYSQL programming as the database.

Abstract

According to the Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) for the 2018 survey of 61 countries that participated in PISA, the reading interest of the Indonesian people still received a low score of 358 out of an overall average score of 472. One of the consequences of low reading is the difficulty of understanding the content of reading, especially for long and many texts, so it will be easier to read the summary. With advances in text summarization technology can be done using text mining methods. text mining will retrieve information on big data from text-based documents, the summary process will take the main points of news or important sentences without changing the content of the reading or also called extraction techniques. To get maximum results, the weighting is done by extracting sentence features based on numerical data, quotations, sentence length, sentence position in paragraphs, and overall sentence position. The research methodology uses knowledge discovery in database (KDD) and modeling using support vector machine algorithms. Testing or evaluation using recall, precision and F-measure. The best research result is the scenario of comparison of test data and training data 7:3, using the Linear kernel, with accuracy 72,4%, precision 63,4%, recall 51,9%, and F-measure 57,1%.
