Abstract

A large number of movies around the world, causing a person to take a long time to find the movie they want to watch, not only that the audience will be confused to determine which movie suits their interests. A recommendation system is defined as a decision-making strategy for a user under complex information environments. From the perspective of e-commerce, the recommendation system was described as a tool that can help users decide related to user interest and preference [5]. The recommendation system is intended primarily for individuals who have no experience evaluating the number of alternative items offered, such as movie selection. This study will implement a recommendation system to form association rules from the two algorithms for frequent itemset, namely Apriori and FP-Growth

In the current information age, data is a valuable asset for companies [1]. Technological advances encourage the digitization of information in almost all fields of science, including astronomy. Technological developments make it easy to access open data in the public domain. The availability of open data will encourage the acceleration of research. ITERA Astronomical Observatory is an observatory located in Lampung. This observatory is claimed to be the largest in Southeast Asia [3]. Abstract

The learning process that has been done face-to-face in class has turned into a new habit, which is done online. Education must continue to be carried out considering that Indonesian children are the hope of the nation's future which we must prepare by learning. Information technology is one of the technologies that is growing very rapidly, even during this pandemic. SMA Negeri 1 Tanjungsari is a school located in the South Lampung area and is a superior or advanced school. However, in these schools, the lack of knowledge in the field of information technology can cause obstacles to the learning and teaching process, so it is necessary to be equipped with knowledge in the field of information technology to improve digital literacy skills and learning platforms for students in schools. In connection with the problems that have been described, this service provides a solution by holding a training and creating a learning platform based on e-learning for schools and students based on information technology. This platform was created by the team with the hope of contributing to the school as a learning centre for students. The result of this PkM program is a B-Smart application product as a learning medium for high school students and training is carried out in its operation so that it can be implemented immediately. Digital literacy skills training provides an increase in understanding in the community, seen from the pre and post tests showing an 86% increase in understanding.

Abstract

Space phenomena are natural events that are rarely seen by humans and are still a lot of mysterious and interesting things to observe and study. In Indonesia, there are still few places to observe and study space phenomena. The Sumatran Institute of Technology (ITERA) has a technical implementing unit as well as a study program related to space. The units are the Lampung ITERA Astronomical Observatory Unit (UPT OAIL) and the Atmospheric and Planetary Science Study Program. However, these units and study programs do not yet have an information system that can store various space data and display them, especially for the public to see. This is the background for us to do community service for lecturers and students in the form of making the OAIL database system. The information system can be used to store space data to be studied and can be seen by the public. The form of the system is website-based so that people throughout Indonesia, especially on the island of Sumatra, can see various space phenomena. For three months, the information system was successfully created and can be implemented by UPT OAIL, so that this community service activity went according to plan and well. It is hoped that the information system can always be developed and useful for the benefit of learning at ITERA and the community. Abstract

Salah satu pusat perkembangan di Kabupaten Lampung Selatan adalah Kecamatan Candipuro. Kecamatan Candipuro memiliki 55,537 penduduk yang menghuni wilayah seluas 84,90 km2, dengan pusat kecamatan berada di Desa Titiwangi. Kecamatan Candipuro terdiri dari 14 desa yang dikenal produktif. Kecamatan Candipuro tidak luput dari permasalahan persampahan terutama sampah anorganik, dimana bank sampah dapat menjadi salah satu solusi. Proses pelayanan bank sampah secara umum masih menemui banyak permasalahan oleh karena itu dibutuhkan sistem aplikasi yang membantu proses administrasi dan operasional di bank sampah dan kemudahan nasabah untuk mengakses data transaksi dan informasi dari bank sampah dengan mudah dan real time. Maka kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk membuat digitalisasi bank sampah menggunakan aplikasi Bang Salam. Persentase sampah anorganik yang masih memiliki nilai ekonomi berdasarkan hasil sampling sampah mencapai sekitar 20% menunjukkan potensi optimasi bank sampah di kecamatan candipuro. Digitalisasi operasional bank sampah dilakukan menggunakan aplikasi bernama Bang Salam, dimana dalam proses pembuatannya diperlukan dokumen kebutuhan perangkat lunak baik untuk aplikasi mobile dan website. Alur pengembangan aplikasi dimulai dengan penetuan karakteristik user, pembuatan use case diagram, kemudian membuat diagram alur proses dari setiap fitur pada aplikasi Bang Salam. Saat ini, aplikasi Bang Salam versi 1.0 sudah terdaftar di google playstore dan dapat dipasang secara umum oleh masyarakat secara umum. Bang Salam diharapkan ini dapat membantu meningkatkan kebersihan lingkungan desa serta peningkatan kesehatan masyarakat sekaligus dapat menjadi sumber tambahan penghasilan bagi masyarakat kecamatan Candipuro juga kelompok tani yang mengelola Bank Sampah

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan dan menerapkan teknologi robot omni-directional yakni robot yang mampu bergerak ke segala arah dan dapat dikontrol secara nirkabel. Adapun hasil analisis evaluasi kognitif peserta pelatihan telah menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan sebesar sebesar 26 poin pengetahuan peserta di bidang pelatihan perakitan robot, yang semula 59 menjadi 85. Selanjutnya untuk nilai modus pada postest dapat dilihat peserta pelatihan mendapatkan nilai 80 yang berarti jumlah peserta yang paham dan mengerti setelah pelatihan meningkat signifikan. Tujuan perakitan robot omni-directional untuk menunjang para pendidik SMAN 5 Bandar Lampung yang lebih kompeten dan visioner dalam media pembelajaran

Abstract

SMKN 7 Bandar Lampung is an educational unit that manages a Mini Bank which is used for teaching factory practices in financial accounting practices, besides that it is also a school designated by the regional government of Lampung province which heads the Lampung regional public service agency (BLUD). The problems faced in the management of mini-banks are that the business processes are not running optimally, the transaction process is running manually, besides that the manager's capacity knowledge is also inadequate in managing it. The purpose of this community service activity is to develop the capacity and capabilities of partner schools through the development of the Mini Bank application. The empowerment method used is starting from identifying needs and problems, application design, implementation, testing, and finally evaluation. The result of this dedication is a mini bank application with testing carried out involving 10 respondents, the results of the UEQ (User Experience Questionnaire) test show the value of the efficiency aspect is 2.15, the accuracy aspect is 2.14, the clarity aspect is 2.44, the stimulation aspect that is 2.15 and the attractiveness aspect is 2.26 so that the scores on all aspects get an excellent score.

Abstract

Malaria is a tropical disease that infects human red blood cells caused by infection with the plasmodium parasite. Plasmodium parasites spread to humans through female Anopheles mosquitoes and can reproduce in human blood cells. Malaria is a health problem that is at risk of causing other health problems such as anemia and even death. The current gold standard for malaria diagnosis is laboratory diagnosis by microscopic examination to find the malaria parasite through the blood cells of the patient. However, the diagnosis of malaria through microscopic observation of blood cells has the potential to take a long time, because the plasmodium parasite has a very small size. The malaria detection system using the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) method is designed to detect malaria in human blood cells. CNN is a machine learning method designed to classify objects in an image. The system was built in three stages of development, namely the development of a CNN model for malaria detection, software development and hardware development. The hardware components used in the system include Raspberry pi, Raspberry Pi camera module, and LCD. The results of the malaria detection test using the CNN model gave an accuracy of 98.76% which was tested on blood cell images from a microscope
