Abstract

The research to analysis the morphometric of rice fruit was carried out till April to November 2021, with the aim of studying the morphometric of rice fruit planted in community in Pulau Rimau District, Banyuasin Regency. Sampling was done by purposive on one plot in each area of rice varieties. Parameters observed in this study include the morphometric of rice fruit from 8 varieties, namely Inpari 32 HDB, Black Ketan, Cimelati, Ciasem, IR 42, Ciherang, IR 64 and Mapan 05. Morphometric was carried out by measuring the length and diameter of the fruit using a caliper with a caliper. clamping the ends of each rice variety, the width (diameter) was measured using a caliper at the center of the fruit for each rice variety on 50 rice plants per variety. The weight was weighed using an analytical balance. The results showed that structure of fruit are slender, long to short and medium slender. Fruit colours are yellow to grayish black, with diameter of 25 - 28 mm, an length of 7.9 - 10.3 mm, and weight is 1.11 - 1.49 grams

Abstract

Research on Weed Vegetation in  Cassava (Manihot esculenta) was carried out from March to April 2019 at a cassava plantation in East OKU Regency, South Sumatra. This study aims to determine the composition and structure of weeds in cassava plantations. This study used a quadratic method with 7 plots of 2 x 2 m in size. The parameters observed were density (K), relative density (KR), frequency (F), relative frequency (FR), Importance Value Index (INP) and Community Diversity Index (H '). The results showed 11 types of weeds, namely Ageratum conyzoides, Erechtites valerianifolia, Chromolaena odorata, Asystasia gangetica, Mimosa pudica, Boreria alata, Calapogonium caereuleum, Cleome rutidosperma, Physalis angulata, Cyperus rotundus, and Axonopus compressus. The dominant species was Ageratum conyzoides INP 47.43%. Species diversity is moderate with H 'value.

Abstract

Everyone needs to know the condition of the body that can restore the body's stamina so that the optimal condition is the need for sleep. Working hours and biological rhythms that do not match can cause stress in the form of hormonal changes that are controlled by the hypothalamus. The hypothalamus will trigger the anterior pituitary to increase cortisol. Cortisol reduces the number of eosinophils, basophils, monocytes, and lymphocytes, interleukins 1 and 6 as well as suppression of T cells in the blood so that the level of immunity against foreign substances entering the body is reduced. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of sleep quality on the formation of erythrocytes in workers with a shift system in the peripheral circulation. This study uses analytical estimation through a horizontal approach. Based on the analysis, there is a significant relationship between sleep quality and the number of ATLM episodes with the shift work system at BBLK Palembang. Chi Square statistical test results obtained from 86 people there are 35 people with good sleep quality, from 35 respondents with good sleep quality 33 people (94.3%) have a good blood count and 2 respondents (5.7%) others have a low blood cell count. As for ATLM with a shift work system, it is expected to be able to maintain good and sufficient sleep quality, as well as improve good sleep quality.

Abstract

Tempat  yang biasanya disukai lalat merupakan tempat yang  berhubungan dengan aktivitas manusia. Salah satunya adalah Tempat Pembuangan Akhir (TPA) Sampah. Lalat  juga menyukai bahan makanan yang mengalami proses pembusukan, basah dan berbau. Kondisi  lingkungan tersebut dapat mendukung lalat untuk mendapatkan makanan dan berkembangbiak. Banyaknya tumpukan sampah dan bau yang tak sedap  menarik perhatian lalat untuk datang ke TPA Sukawinatan Palembang. Hal ini dapat meningkatkan populasi lalat. Penentuan lokasi pengambilan sampel lalat di TPA, diambil pada lokasi tumpukan sampah baru yang dapat mewakili daerah yang dipilih.  Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian eksploratif dilakukan dengan teknik survey. Lalat diidentifikasi secara makroskopis dan mikroskopis (dengan Stereomikroskop) dan didasarkan pada semua gambaran morfologi tubuh lalat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi keanekaragaman jenis lalat yang terdapat di Tempat Pembuangan Akhir Sampah (TPA) Sukawinatan Palembang. Dari hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi memberikan informasi tentang jenis-jenis lalat yang terdapat di Tempat Pembuangan Akhir  (TPA) Sampah Sukawinatan Palembang, sehingga diperoleh data untuk pengendalian lalat. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan 4  spesies  lalat yaitu Musca domestica., Fannia sp., Chrysomya  megacephala, dan Lucilia sp di Tempat Pembuangan Akhir (TPA) Sampah Sukawinatan Palembang.

Abstract

After the government implemented the Implementation of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) in August 2021, COVID-19 cases in Papua Province had decreased by 46.2%. The daily average of COVID-19 cases in July decreased from 370 to 119 cases to be precise in August 2021. One of the Jayapura City government policies in early 2022 that aimed to break the chain of COVID-19 spread was to eliminate face-to-face learning for Kindergarten, Elementary, Junior High, and High School education levels from February 15 - March 15, 2022. Previous research related to the analysis of the cumulative distribution of COVID-19 in Papua province had been carried out in 2021. It used data on COVID-19 cases for two months during September 1 - October 31, 2020. The researchers used the Johnson SB model. In contrast to previous studies, the present study aimed to use the distribution of Erlang, Fatigue Life, Frechet, Gamma, Logistics, Pareto, Pearson Type 5 and Weibull to perform a cumulative and survival analysis on positive cases of COVID-19 patients in Papua Province in 2021. In addition, This study used COVID-19 data from January to April 2021. The results showed that the analysis of COVID-19 data in Papua Province in 2021 can utilize the Fatigue Life, Frechet, Gamma, Logistics, Pearson Type 5 and Weibull models.

Abstract

 ABSTRAKGelatin adalah zat yang diperoleh dengan mengekstrak kolagen dari tulang rawan atau kulit hewan, seperti sapi, ikan, dan babi. Aplikasi gelatin pada produk olahan makanan sudah banyak dilakukan. Akan tetapi aplikasi gelatin dalam kosmetik seperti masker (masker peel off) dan senyawa alami lain masih terbatas. Pada penelitian ini, masker peel off yang diolah diberi penambahan bahan alami berupa gelatin dan beberapa variasi konsentrasi dari pati jagung. Gelatin yang digunakan yaitu gelatin dari kulit ikan gabus yang mengandung protein yang baik kulit dan pati jagung manis yang memiliki bermanfaat untuk mengeringkan luka atau noda pada cacar air dan jerawat. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui karakteristik dari masker peel off gelatin dan beberapa variasi konsentrasi pati jagung.  Penelitian dilaksanakan di WSTPHP Fakultas Perikanan dan Kelautan dan Laboratorium terpadu UPGRIP. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap,  dengan perlakuan konsentrasi pati jagung dan terdiri dari 3 (tiga) taraf perlakukan yang masing-masing perlakuan diulang sebanyak 3 kali. Konsentrasi perlakuan pati jagung terdiri dari M0 (0%), M1(2,5%), M2 (5%) dan M3 (7,5%). Parameter yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini meliputi : : uji homogenitas, uji pH, uji waktu sediaan mengering, daya sebar, air dan abu. Data hasil pengamatan proksimat dianalisis dengan analisis ragam dan diuji lanjut. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa perlakuan Masker peel off yang terbaik adalah sediaan masker dengan penambahan gelatin dan konsentrasi pati jagung 7,5% berdasarkan uji homogenitas tidak adanya gumpalan partikel pada sediaan masker, nilai pH 6, uji sediaan mengering 17 menit 97 detik dan daya sebar 9,30 cm.

Abstract

One of the problems that often occurs is  the students cannot complete the thesis as expected. One of the factors that always occurs is that the students choose or determine the topic of their thesis that is not in accordance with their competence. He is more likely to choose supervisor.  This article is the result of research that aims to determine the suitability of a student's thesis topic according to their academic competence. The research was conducted on Unesa Mathematics students who are at the fourth year. The number of subjects are 35 students who were at the beginning of semester 7 and at that time were taking a mathematics seminar course. Seminar courses are the beginning of the preparation of their thesis. The method used is a modification of the "Medical Diagnostic" method in the health, which uses the application of the intuitionistic fuzzy relation concept. The results showed that there were 13 students or only 43.3% whose choice of thesis topic was in accordance with their competence, there were 17 students or 56.7% whose choice of thesis topic was not in accordance with their competencies.

Abstract

The use of organic fertilizers anticipates the negative impact of using inorganic fertilizers on the environment. Research on the use of rice washing water mixed with Trichoderma sp fungus as organic fertilizer to increase the growth of tomato plants (Solanum lycopersicum) aims to determine the utilization of rice washing water mixed with Trichoderma sp fungus  as organic fertilizer to increase the growth of tomato plants (Solanum lycopersicum). The study used 4 different concentrations of treatment and as a control only used sterile distilled water. Based on the results of the study that the different treatments gave different results. The control treatment gave the lowest yield on tomato plant growth which included plant height and number of leaves compared to the treatment with rice washing water mixed with Trichoderma sp. The application of rice washing water mixed with Trichoderma sp fungus was proven to increase the growth of tomato plants.

Abstract

The research location is in Gorontalo City. The location is an area that has geological structural conditions of high complexity. The study used statistical analysis of the robustness data to determine the direction of the firmness and the RQD (rock quality designation) value. The research objectives consist of two, namely knowing the direction of the stress (the main force of tectonic formation) and knowing the RQD value based on the analysis of joint data. To achieve these two objectives, it is carried out with a research method in the form of an inductive method. This method combines the results of a literature review, previous research and field data, all of which are comprehensively studied, analyzed, and synthesized. Statistical analysis (fan diagram) on joint data on granite rocks in Gorontalo City. The results and discussion resulted in the direction of maximum stress (τ1) = N 15oE and the direction of minimum stress (τ3) = N 75oW. The rock RQD value is 40.60% so that the rock quality in this research area is classified as moderate. The results of the measurement of the joint spacing at this station are obtained from a distance of (5-10) cm, so it is included in the weak scale so that the joint space strongly supports the occurrence of landslides.

Abstract

BBTV is one of the important diseases in banana plants, the transmission of BBTV can be carried out by Pentalonia nigronervosa. In some banana plantations infected plants are usually cut down because they are considered unable to produce optimal production. The felled plants will then be placed around healthy plantations, this situation is thought to have the potential as a place for P. nigronervosa to temporarily live and spread the virus to other healthy plants. This study aims to determine the ability of dead plants that host P. nigronervosa to re-transmit the virus to healthy plants. The study was conducted using a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with six treatments on the day of death of infected plants, namely, 0, 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 days, with five replications. From the results of the study, it was found that plants infected by BBTV still had potential to transmit the virus to healthy plants through the P. nigronervosa. Transmission of BBTV from dead plants on the fifth day resulted in the highest average of BBTV infection. The incubation period of virus in plants ranged from 30-53 days after inoculation. From this research, it is hoped that farmers will pay more attention to thoroughly eradicate banana plants infected by BBTV, removed all plant and suckers thoroughly together with their corms.
