Abstract

Governance in Islamic banking is not limited to achieving profit or maximizing wealth but is related to stakeholder theory which is considered to align bank performance objectives with the environment and public interest. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of corporate governance as proxied by the number of boards of directors, number of sharia supervisory boards, characteristics of the board of directors and number of board meetings on financial performance as proxied by Return On Equity (ROE). The results showed that the number of boards of directors and the characteristics of the boards of directors had a positive influence on Return On Equity in Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study expects to decide and examine the impact of representative responsibility, inspiration, and workplace on worker execution at PT. PLN (Persero) UPT Pulogadung, East Jakarta.The procedure utilized in this exploration is a quantitative cooperative examination technique, and the exploration strategy utilized is a study. The populace in this study were workers of PT. PLN (Persero) UPT Pulogadung, East Jakarta. Sampling was carried out using the Slovin formula for as many as 80 people. In light of the consequences of speculation testing with a genuine level (a) 5%, a significant conclusion is obtained, either partially or simultaneously. Thus, the partial impact contribution of employee commitment to employee performance is 14.9%, the partial grant of the influence of motivation on employee performance is 0.06%, and the partial impact contribution of the work environment to employee performance is 15.8%. Meanwhile, simultaneously the assistance of the influence of employee commitment, motivation, and work environment on employee performance is 32.6%

Abstract

This study is intended to identify and analyze the influence of auditor ethics, skepticism, professionalism and competence on audit quality at the inspectorate of Grobogan Regency, Central Java. The sample to be analyzed is the inspectorate unit of Grobogan Regency, Central Java who understands auditing procedures. The sampling method that will be used is the census method with a total sample of 54 respondents. Data analysis techniques used include instrument testing, classical assumption test, hypothesis testing and coefficient of determination. The results of the research analysis show that auditor ethics, skepticism, professionalism and competence have a positive and significant effect on the results of audit quality at the Grobogan inspectorate agency.

Abstract

Currently, Generation Z in Indonesia has started to enter the workplace. This is an opportunity as well as a challenge for Indonesian society today and in the future. Therefore, it is necessary to prepare to welcome this new generation into the workforce, including considering what leadership styles can affect the business environment with this new generation. One of the leadership styles that may be adopted by leaders is micromanaging which is understood as a leadership style where the leader always wants to be involved in the work of subordinates; supervise subordinates carefully. Previous studies on the impact of micromanaging on Gen Z still show mixed results, therefore this study aims to understand Gen Z's perception of the micromanaging leadership style and its impact on their work performance. This study uses a qualitative phenomenological approach so that researchers can better understand Gen Z's perception of the micromanaging leadership style and its impact on their work performance based on their own experiences through in-depth interviews for data collection. From the perspective of Gen Z, micromanaging is perceived to have both positive and negative impacts on their work performance. Gen Z recognizes that micromanaging is necessary at this point in their careers with no work experience. Suggestions on how to manage micro Gen Z have been outlined and are part of this research.

Abstract

As technology advances, entrepreneurs will have more options to use social media as a marketing platform for their businesses. Although social media platforms have shown to be beneficial to businesses in terms of better understanding what customers and the general public have to say about their products or services, not all customers are comfortable with such approaches. It is related to consumers' belief and expectation that digital platforms will protect their personal private data, so it is also necessary to establish boundaries to ensure that consumers are comfortable with the marketing ethics that marketers utilize when using publicly available social media data. The data was analyzed using multiple linear regression after 61 social media users in Jakarta completed a questionnaire. The findings will reveal the variables that influence the relationship between consumers' marketing comfort and marketers' ethical marketing practices while using publicly available social media data. The R-sq 85,30 percent indicates that all variables have a significant effect on marketing comfort. This study can help marketers make decisions and get insight by using publicly available social media data to alleviate customer concerns and provide convenience about data in the business based on ethical marketing information.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze forms of implementation of interfaith-based urban poverty reduction programs (P2KP), to identify and analyze the level of responsiveness in implementing poverty reduction program policies, to identify and analyze the level of community acceptance of poverty reduction program policies, and to determine and analyze the factors that influence the implementation of poverty reduction program policies in urban areas. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research. Descriptive method through a qualitative approach that aims to understand poverty alleviation in urban areas with research objects such as behavior, perception, motivation and carrying out other actions. The results of this study indicate that the forms of implementation of poverty reduction program policies in urban areas have been carried out according to the P2KP policy stages, government responsiveness in implementing poverty reduction program policies, the community accepts and supports poverty reduction programs, and communication factors, resources, attitude of implementers, and bureaucratic structure are factors that influence the successful implementation of P2KP policies. In cross-religious, especially Islam, in overcoming poverty we as Muslims have an obligation to raise the dignity of the poor. This is mentioned in the Qur'an surah al-Maa'uun verses 1-3 which means "Do you know those who deny religion? So that is the person who rebukes the orphan and does not encourage feeding the poor" and in the Sunnah of the Prophet that "Poverty is closer to disbelief, the upper hand is better than the lower hand".

Abstract

Cell phones are one of the most important communication tools in the current era of globalization. The rapid development of information and communication technology (ICT) is marked by the emergence of various brands of cellular phones that are produced in line with the high demand for cellular phones. This condition creates competition among cellular phone manufacturers to attract consumers and to maintain market share of their products. This study aims to analyze the current market share of smartphone manufacturers and predict smartphone brands in the future among IAIN Palopo students. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. Primary data was obtained from distributing questionnaires to 240 students from the 2017-2020 class. Data analysis using Markov chain method. The results of this study indicate: 1). The current market share of IAIN Palopo Student Smartphone brands are: Oppo 37.5%, Vivo 29.2%, Samsung 14.2%, Xiaomi 10%, Iphone 2.5%, and other brands 6.7%. 2). Predictions of the smartphone brand market share for IAIN Palopo students in the future (equilibrium conditions) are: Oppo 38.7%, Vivo 30.6%, Samsung 12.3%, Xiaomi 7.2%, Iphone 3.7%, and other brands 7.4%.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the relationship between University Brand Identification, Positive Electronic Word-of-Mouth (E-Wom) Behavior, and University Life Satisfaction and Students' Psychological Well-Being. This study use quantitative methodologies, namely statistical statistical systems, to assist in resolving previously identified research challenges. In this investigation, samples were collected from Cimahi City university students. University brand identification has a significant positive effect on positive E-wom behavior, University brand identification has a significant positive effect on student psychological well-being, and university life satisfaction has a significant positive effect on student psychological well-being.

Abstract

Educational institutions are organizations that provide services with the aim of educating the nation's life and are expected to be sensitive to current situations and conditions. The Leadership Institute as the provider of Education services, must be able to understand and pay attention to the feelings of customers, in this case there are students. The feeling of students as customers who go through the academic service process will leave a deep impression on The Leadership Institute. This study aims to analyze how the quality of service and administration on student satisfaction at The Leadership Institute Pte Ltd. The population used was 120 respondents and all of them were sampled with the saturated sample technique. Data processing is assisted by SPSS version 25 software with quantitative methods. From the results of multiple linear regression obtained Y = 1.067 + 0.200X1 + 0.349X2. The results showed that the academic service quality variable (X1) tcount > ttable (4.135 > 1.734) and the administrative service quality variable (X2) tcount > ttable (7.029 > 1.734). Based on the test criteria if tcount > ttable, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted which means the quality of academic services (X1), and the quality of administrative services (X2) affect student satisfaction (Y), in which the variables of academic service quality (X1), and the quality of administrative services (X2) have a positive and significant effect on student satisfaction (Y).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the presence or absence of the influence of discipline and work motivation on the performance of employees at PT Garuda Electric Power which is engaged in contracting. The phenomenon of employee performance levels at PT Garuda Electric Power, shows that employee performance has not been maximized. This study used two independent variables, namely the discipline variable, and the work motivation variable and used one dependent variable, namely employee performance. The data collection technique method used in this study was the distribution of questionnaires using the saturation sampling method, where the population and samples used in this study were all employees working at PT Garuda Electric Power with a population of 105 people. This research uses data analysis techniques such as validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination test, and hypothesis test. The results of this study show that disciplinary variables have a positive and significant influence on employee performance, work motivation variables have a positive and significant influence on employee performance, and also disciplinary variables and work motivation together simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT Garuda Electric Power. The variables contained in this study had an influence of 45.7% on employee performance. The remaining 54.3% was influenced by other variables that came from outside this study.
