Thesis is used as one of the graduation requirements for undergraduate students or S1. Likewise for students of Sekolah Tinggi Teknik Harapan (STTH) Medan, they must write a scientific paper in the form of thesis to complete the study. Many processes are passed in writing thesis. Starting from the submission of proposals, the process of guidance, seminars and ends in the trial thesis. The long process of writing thesis raises many obstacles. One of them is the constraints related to communication between faculty and students in the process of guidance. Therefore designed a web-based information system to be able to overcome this. This information system is designed using PHP programming language and MySQL as database. This information system is designed based on case studies at Sekolah Tinggi Teknik Harapan (STTH) Medan. This information system can help smooth the execution of the thesis in the campus environment, ranging from helping the department managing the proposal submission process, determination of supervisors, assisting lecturers and students in communicating schedule Thesis guidance during the process of guidance, to the process of scheduling seminars and thesis trial.

At this time the use of computer device technology has developed rapidly and the community. Most people use it not only for commercial purposes, but also to get information on disease detection quickly and efficiently with a computer-based application that can help the general public to find out the causes and symptoms of the disease. for that, a system is needed to imitate the expertise of an expert in answering questions and solving problems in accordance with the knowledge of an expert who is entered into a computer system. The development of artificial intelligence technology that has occurred has made it possible for expert systems to be applied to detect disease using programming languages. One of them is in providing information about various problems, especially Vasculitis. The expert system method used is a Variable Centered Intelligent Rule System (VCIRS) used to handle diagnosing vasculitis. With the facilities provided for users and administrators, allowing both users and administrators to use this system according to their individual needs. Users are given ease in knowing information about Vasculitis disease, its causes and deterrents. Measles is one of the causes of death in children around the world which always increases every year. Although measles immunization programs have been implemented, the incidence of measles in children is still quite high. This study discusses the Implementation of Rapidminer with the K-Means Method (Case Study: Measles Immunization in Toddlers by Province). The increase in cases of measles in toddlers in Indonesia is a case that has never been separated from the governments attention. Data sources and research were obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The data used in this study are data from 2004-2017 which consists of 34 provinces. The cluster process is divided into 3 (three) clusters, namely high cluster level (C1), medium cluster level (C2) and low cluster level (C3). So that the assessment for cases of immunization against measles based on high cluster province (C1) is 21 provinces for medium cluster (C2) of 12 provinces and for low cluster (C3) of 1 province. The results of the cluster can be used as input for the government, especially the provinces, so that provinces that enter the high cluster receive more attention and increase the socialization of measles immunization against children under five. Keywords: Data Mining, Measles, Clustering, K-means

Compressed files require less disk space than files that are not compressed, so compressing is useful for backing up data by using storage space to be small or to send information over the Internet faster. MP3 makes the audio format often used because the data stored resembles the original data when recorded and has a size that is not too large compared to other formats. Users besides storing song files, they also store videos and other files and users also want the highest quality data and minimum quantity (size). So to make a lot of empty space and have a size of data that is not large on storage media, a compression method that means to shorten the size of the bits needed for data is needed. Algorithms used in the compression process, including the Levenstein algorithm which is a type of lossless compression. Applying the Levenstein algorithm to the compression process the author wants to know the performance of compression when done by compressing MP3 files, so that large MP3 files will be compressed into smaller sizes, so that the transmission process is carried out faster and reduces the data storage location.Keywords: MP3, File, Levenstein

PT. Go-Jek Indonesia is a service company. Go-jek online is a technology-based motorcycle taxi service that leads the transportation industry revolution. Predictions on ordering go-jek drivers using data mining algorithms are used to solve problems faced by the company PT. Go-Jek Indonesia to predict the level of ordering of online go-to drivers. In determining the crowded and lonely time. The proposed method is Naive Bayes. Naive Bayes algorithm aims to classify data in certain classes. The purpose of this study is to look at the prediction patterns of each of the attributes contained in the data set by using the naive algorithm and testing the training data on testing data to see whether the data pattern is good or not. what will be predicted is to collect the data of the previous driver ordering, which is based on the day, time for one month. The Naive Bayes algorithm is used to predict the ordering of online go-to-go drivers that will be experienced every day by seeing each order such as morning, afternoon and evening. The results of this study are to make it easier for the company to analyze the data of each go-jek driver booking in taking policies to ensure that both drivers and consumers or customers.Keywords: Go-jek Driver, Data Mining, Naive Bayes

The purpose of the study was to classify the factors causing the decline in student achievement during the pandemic using the C4.5 datamining method. Sources of research data were obtained by conducting interviews and distributing questionnaires to 7th semester students of the 2020-2021 school year information system study program. Attributes that used in the classification of the factors causing the decline in student achievement include: Learning Method (C1), Study Time (C2), Material Understanding (C3), Giving Assignments (C4) and Environment (C5). The results of the calculation show that the Material Understanding (C3) attribute is the attribute that most influences the decline in student learning achievement. Testing was also carried out using the help of Rapidminer software and obtained an accuracy of 97.5%.Keywords: Classification, Datamining, C4.5, learning achievement, Pandemic

The size of the audio data file has become something of great concern in the digital age. Problems that arise due to the large size of data include the wasteful storage media used, as well as more time in terms of data exchange, data transfer over the internet network is a big problem in Indonesia because download and upload speeds are very low. The concept of compression was born as a real solution to the problem of the amount of space needed to store WAV format audio. To solve the existing problem of the large audio files obtained in the WAV format, a compression technique is needed with the aim of reducing the size of the WAV format audio file. By compressing the audio file, it is hoped that it can save from the hard disk. Through the compression process of WAV audio files using the Start-Step-Stop Code algorithm, it is hoped that in the future this compression system can have a major effect on WAV format audio storage and can better protect storage space and it is also hoped that this algorithm can be used from other objects to be compressed.Keywords: Digital Audio, WAV, Compression, Start-Step-Stop Code

Eggs are an animal product that comes from poultry. Eggs are known as a food that contains nutrients that are very good for the body because they contain a high protein source. Apart from being nutritious, people consume a lot of eggs because the price is relatively cheaper than other protein foods. This research was conducted on the Raffa Egg business located in Pematangsiantar City. The data collection process was carried out by means of interviews and observations with Raffa Eggs. This study aims to predict the number of purchases of European chicken eggs from suppliers. The research was conducted using Tsukamoto fuzzy logic with 3 variables, namely sales (x), inventory (y) and purchases (z). where the sales variable (x) consists of 2 fuzzy sets, including increasing and decreasing, inventory (y) consisting of many and few fuzzy sets and purchasing (z) consisting of many and few fuzzy sets. The results of the calculation of the prediction of the number of purchases of European chicken eggs with sales of 6500 and inventory of 25 000 are 29583 items.Keywords: Eggs, European chicken eggs, Fuzzy, Tsukamoto, Pematangsiantar

Admission of new students is an administrative process for prospective students in educational institutions. This process is usually carried out every year. Imelda University Medan is one of the universities that still uses manual system procedures in selecting the right majors for prospective new students. This study aims to design a data mining system application for recommendations for new student majors at Imelda University Medan, using the Selft Organizing Maps (SOM) method to make it easier for prospective new students in the process of selecting the right department. For application design, the Visual Basic 2008 programming language is used, this system is made flexible so that if at any time the criteria used can be adjusted according to needs. The results of this study indicate that the SOM method can produce recommendations for the right majors for prospective students at the University of Imelda Medan. .
