Abstract

In a pandemic like this, hand washing soap has an important role in accompanying the daily activities of the community that cannot be separated from health protocols. Therefore, there are many kinds of hand washing soap in circulation. The many brands and variants of hand washing soap make it difficult for consumers to choose the right hand washing soap for them to use. The source of this research data was obtained by conducting interviews and giving random questionnaires to the community of 100 respondents in Pematangsiantar city. Based on the results of interviews and questionnaires, there were 5 assessment criteria for hand washing soap products, namely price (C1), how to obtain (C2), composition / content (C3), aroma (C4), and packaging (C5) and 6 alternatives used.including lifebuoy (A1), Dettol (A2), Sleek (A3), Sanitary (A4), Nuvo (A5), Carex (A6). This study uses a decision support system with the VIKOR method. The results of the study indicate that A2 = Dettol with a VIKOR value of 1.047 is an alternative that suits consumer needs. It is expected that the results of this study can provide information and help consumers in determining the right product.Keywords: SPK, VIKOR, Hand Washing Soap, Consumer, Selection

Abstract

Merchandise Display (MD) is part of the team whose job is to display products and ensure products are kept clean and pleasing to the eye of consumers on shelf displays. MD also acts as a promotional worker for the company's goods. It is inseparable for PT. Maju Supermarkets together that rely on MD as a promotional team to meet the needs of goods according to consumer demand. Due to this, the existence of MD is very important for PT. Maju Bersama Supermarkets. So it is necessary that an appreciation be given to the results made by MD in the form of rewards. The reward given to the best MD based on the resulting performance is expected to improve performance for that MD or other MDs. The procedure carried out in the MD selection stage is not easy, it must be based on the criteria set by PT. Maju Bersama Supermarkets. The obstacle currently being experienced is that the election process does not yet have a strong reference, so it is possible to produce less objective results. So we need a system as a reference for the process of selecting the best MD. The decision support system is the solution needed to resolve these problems. By using the SMARTER method in the selection process. The SMARTER method is an improvement from the SMART METHOD where in determining the SMARTER Method the weighting process of criteria and sub criteria uses the ROC method. The result of the SMARTER method is the utility value of each criterion for later ranking of alternatives. Abstract

Advertising is a marketing communication message or public communication about a product that is conveyed through a medium, financed by a known initiator, and addressed to part or all of the community. PT. Amanah Wisata Travel also uses advertising promotions on its website to attract potential customers to use their services. However, the number of advertisements on the website will be burdensome for the website, because there are too many files such as images and videos, and this can take up storage space on web hosting. Data compression is one way that this problem can be resolved, because by using data compression it can minimize a file size in the form of an image or video from the ad. Large data sizes result in waste of memory and the slow process of moving or duplicating data so that it is necessary to do ways to minimize data storage. The aim of this research is to minimize the file size on the PT. Amanah Travel in the form of images. If the size of the file being transferred is large enough, it is necessary to compress the file so that the file size is reduced. Abstract

In the decision-making process to determine the eligibility of receiving tuition loan assistance which is commonly carried out at BFI Finance Medan, there is a problem in finding the final decision as a result of determining the eligibility of receiving tuition loan assistance, namely determining the service for receiving tuition loan assistance that is classified as not. effective because it takes a long time to re-analyze the data that is the criterion for receiving tuition loan assistance, this causes the presentation of decision-making data for determining the eligibility of receiving tuition loan assistance is categorized as ineffective and inaccurate to achieve the main vision in BFI Finance Medan. In this study, to solve the problems that occurred at BFI Finance Medan in terms of making decisions to determine the eligibility of receiving tuition loan assistance, researchers developed a decision-making system at BFI Finance Medan into a computer system, namely building a decision support system application using a language. programming which later can be used as a specific alternative to solve problems that occur at BFI Finance Medan, especially determining the eligibility of receiving tuition loan assistance. The decision support system method used in the development of the eligibility decision support system to receive tuition loan assistance at BFI Finance Medan in this study is the Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) method. The Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) method is a transparent multi-attribute decision-making method so that this method provides a high understanding of the problem and can be accepted by decision makers. The multi-attribute decision-making technique in the Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) method is used to support decision makers in choosing several alternatives effectively and efficiently. The results of this study are expected to facilitate BFI Finance Medan in making decisions to determine the eligibility of receiving tuition loan assistance at BFI. Abstract

Selama masa pandemi proses pembelajaran ditetapkan oleh pemerintah agar dilaksanakan dengan model daring atau pembelajaran online, hal tersebut membuat seluruh mahasiswa harus menjalani proses yang berbeda dengan pembelajaran sebelumnya ketika bertatap muka langsung di ruang kelas. Mahasiswa memiliki pandangan yang berbeda terhadap strategi pembelajaran online yang sudah dijalani dan membuat sentimen pribadi di media sosial twitter dengan memberikan penilaian yang menurut pengalaman pribadi selama mengikuti proses pembelajaran online sudah berlangsung di kampus tempat mereka menuntut ilmu. Berdasarkan sentimen mahasiswa terhadap strategi pembelajaran online yang disampaikan melalui media sosial twitter pada penelitian ini dilakukan analisis klasifikasi sentimen menggunakan metode naïve bayes. Hasil analisis klasifikasi sentimen mahasiswa yang dilakukan menggunakan metode naïve bayes memperoleh hasil pengkategorian negatif atau positifnya strategi pembelajaran online yang telah diterapkan pada mahasiswa yang menjalani proses pendidikan di perguruan tinggi yang dimana nilai klasifikasi yaitu precision=80%, recall = 80% dan accuracy = 80%.

Abstract

A trainer is someone whose job it is to prepare physically and mentally for sportsmen and groups of sportsmen. Some trainers are former athletes. Coaches organize tactics, strategies, physical training and provide moral support to athletes. Therefore, a proper Decision Support System is needed so that the determination of the trainer becomes more optimal and precise. The use of promethee is one solution that can determine and generate decisions from several alternatives. the main problem is simplicity, clarity and stability. It is hoped that to overcome this, a decision support system for selecting the best coach in Dispora will be built using the Promethee method which will be designed using Visual Basic 2008 and using Microsoft Access 2007. Abstract

Pompholyx is a skin disease characterized by the appearance of small, fluid-filled blisters, especially on the sides of the fingers, palms, and soles of the feet. In general, the blisters last three weeks, and produce severe itching and burning. The blisters can also be accompanied by pain and drain pus. Pompholyx is also known as dyshidrotic eczema. If not treated properly, people with pompholyx can develop bacterial infections, as a result of scratching the affected area of the skin. Therefore, a tool that is able to provide real and accurate diagnostic information based on the symptoms that occur in sufferers of this disease is needed, namely an expert system application. Expert system applications can work properly according to expert knowledge to diagnose diseases that are experienced based on the symptoms that arise. The expert system for diagnosingdisease Pompholyx in this study the authors design and build with vbnet 2008. The method applied to the expert system in this study is the Ripple Down Rules (RDR) Method and the Certainty Factor Method. The knowledge base for diagnosing Pompholyx was obtained from expert doctors to diagnose this disease, namely specialists at Herna General Hospital. Abstract

New drivers who use a car sometimes find it difficult when crossing a toll road, because so far, most of the drivers, if they want to travel long distances, definitely use the toll road so they don't get stuck in traffic. However, when using toll roads, many do not know how good and safe driving rules are on the toll road, which will endanger themselves and other toll road users. To help find the solution to the rules for driving a car on toll roads so that they can be applied properly, it is built through 2D animation design. The animation design technique will use the Frame by Frame method which forms images of different objects then neatly arranged with the timing of the action of each to produce an animated story. Here the author tries to make 2D animations such as learning simulations that are easy to understand to help new drivers when crossing toll roads properly and safely.Keywords: Driving Rules, Frame By Frame, 2D Animation, Simulation

Abstract

Abstract− ecision support system is a computer-based system that can help decisions to solve certain problems by utilizing certain data and models. Many cases can be used as research in decision support systems, one of which is determining the best Vivo promoter. In this research, a decision making system will be designed using the TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) method. The TOPSIS method is a multi-criteria decision making method that uses the principle that the chosen alternative must have the shortest distance to the positive ideal solution and the farthest distance to the negative ideal solution. The steps used in the TOPSIS method are the normalization matrix calculation process, the weighted normalization matrix calculation process, the process of determining positive ideal solutions and negative ideal solutions, the process of calculating the distance of each alternative to the ideal solution, and the process of calculating the preference value of each alternative. Abstract

Vigenere cipher is a symmetric key algorithm that uses alphabetic substitution by using these letters as plaintext and key letters that have comparable positions. Along with the development of human science, the weaknesses of the vigenere cipher were discovered. One way that can be done to overcome the weaknesses of the vigenere cipher above is to generate a more random key. This study describes how the procedure is carried out to modify the key generation used in the vigenere cipher algorithm. The key generation process is carried out based on the blum blum shub key generator, meaning that the key used in the encryption and decryption process is the key generated based on the blum blum shub key generator, so that the modification process carried out in generating the key can minimize key-breaking actions by other parties as well as This algorithm can be more optimal in securing data. The result of this research is to design an android-based data security application using the modified vigenere cipher method using the blum blum shub key generator. This application can be used to secure text data, so that it cannot be retrieved by other people.
